We haven't had anyone submit any photographs lately. I'm sure there is a photograph sitting in your gallery that you wished you got better critiques on, well, this is your chance to get what you want.

Is there anything that the FC can to spark more interest? Let's just throw some ideas around, a theme perhaps (just a now and then thing), contests, etc. I thought it would be wonderful to do a self portrait roll. Let's your thoughts.

We would like to give our first feature to, ~apinrise. He is a college student at NSCAD and a film photographer. ~apinrise aka Ryan, for the 2004 The Everyman Contest awarded Ryan A Slow Descent second place in the landscape/nature section. He has continued to work hard and show his progress in photography. His work stands out to anyone who takes the time to view his gallery. Here are some favourites picked by `zerocomplex

It is great to see some submissions from different members, so happy people are coming here to get helpful comments!

As with all submissions, it would be great for everyone to help out eachother by commenting on the critique given by the artist. No matter what level of photographer you are, by answering questions by the artists you help to give a different perspective. Even if the question is something you don't really understand, a questions about film choice or exposure, you can help by giving your point of view towards each submission.

So with that I hope everyone can help out eachother when we submit new work here for critique. Just drop down in the description to the critique area, read what the artists wants critiqued, and have at it, you will never know how much you can help someone if you don't try.
