Hello, loyal watchers!

Yes, I know. we haven't updated since July. This doesn't mean we're ditching the tournament, rather we were trying to work with the tournament more offline to make it a better experience for everyone.
Unfortunately, due to Artists' blosk on my part, our lovable master of ceremonies has yet to get a decent design.
Bad news? For me, yes. For you guys, hellz no! Because this means a contest is in order!

You heard me right, we're holding a contest to design Geheim Duister! Here's how the game is played:
Below, I've got a little description of the MC's personality, age, everything you'll need to know for your design. It doesn't have to be in color, since I can make the official ref sheet for this guy later, but if it is colored, even better. (less work for me!) My brother and I will judge the entries and pick our top 3, then leave it up to the others. The people who wish to enter the OCT will decide what Geheim will look like in the end. I will do a commission for each of the top-3 winners, but the obvious prize is that the overall winner will get their design used in the OCT itself.

Designs are due September 28th!
That's 3 weeks from now!

The top-3 results will likely be out on October 5th
The winner will be announced October 12th

I've seen we already have a reference sheet up for a character, but now the auditions will officially open. As explained before, there will be 2 due dates for this. The first being a reference sheet due date, and the second being an overall due date. It is suggested you reserve religions to use now, or you might lose it. Also, if you do not submit your reference sheet by the first due date, you automatically forefeit your reserved religion, just to make sure you're sticking with the tournament for us. So, here are the finally-scheduled dates:

Status: Rich, somewhat mad

Personality: Geheim can be seen as a somewhat toned-down Mad Hatter. He's rather upbeat and pleasant, even in the most peculiar or tragic situations, and is ever found without a teacup flled with coffee (he'll deny that, but it's really black coffee, not Earl Grey tea). He tends to give of an intimidating aura, though he doesn't really know why. After all, he is dedicating his time and money to achieve peace in the world by negotiating one major conflict.

Wardrobe: If you can find "Gothic Aristocrat" on google images, that would fit his wardobe perfectly. Gothic Aristocrat is basically the male version of Goth Loli. Mostly black, a bit of red, and maybe some violet would be the basic colors or anything he'd wear.

1. A full-colored reference sheet of your character including important information such as name, age, weapon details (if any), power details (if any), past (optional), personality (if any), strengths and weaknesses, and etc.
2. A comic, flash, writing, photocomic, video, etc. depicting your OC in the audition scenario.

NOTE: Color is optional in your comic/flash and you can do what you are most comfortable with. As long as your audition follows the audition scenario, your OC is not a Mary/Gary S(t)ue, and the quality is good enough so that we, the judges, can understand what is going on, you can do whatever you want. Remember, the ref sheet must be colored.

3. Have the audition in by the due date.

4. Wait and hope to get in.

Audition Scenario:

Your character must be selected by their religion to compete in the FinalSolution tournament. They can be chosen for any reason and can even be forced to enter. To give us a good look at your character, have them be ambushed and attacked or bribed to not enter
the tournament. Your character has to either defeat or trick the ambush and continue to the current tournament headquarters in London, England.

These depend on the round. Each round a few battles will be given 1 continent or location for the battles to take place. The artists can choose anywhere on the continent or anywhere owned by a country on that continent to have the battle.

2)Judging will mainly be based on plot and creativity so that this tourney will be fair to people of all artistic skill level. Though some artistic ability will be judged.
EX: If you enter a stick figure with a extremely developed storyline, it will not get in. Similarly, if you enter a Mona Lisa quality artwork with no storyline, it also will not be considered.

3)To join, you will need a full-color character reference with important information that your opponent should be able to use against the battle against you. For example, their name, age, powers (if any), weapons (if any), personality (if any), goals/motives/past, and etc. If you think you can't draw, you are allowed to use someone else's picture.

4) You may enter up to two characters but please have just one character as the main fighter.

5) One religion per entrant. We will choose the best choice for each religion.

6)Be creative with your character and religion. Use unusual religions. Egyptian christianity, atheism, scientology. They'd all be appropriate religions.

7)No fictional religions. Pokemon-ism, Oprah-ism, Twilight worship, these are unacceptable! No religions from books, TV shows, movies, etc. We need to be realistic here.

8)Have fun. Any participant not having fun will be disqualified. That's right, we went there.

9)Different religious sects are allowed. EX: A muslim shiite and a muslim sunni could both be accepted. Be specific!

10)Characters must be human or thought human.If your character is a prototype robot trying to take over the crowds of worshippers around the world, go ahead. But the character will be considered a human by the other characters and judges.

11) Be realistic. Your character can't be invinsible when it goes super saiyan or be able to control a giant magma rainstorm. They have to be fair and real. Though the characters can have powers, just not too extreme.

12) You may reserve a religion for your character, but you must submit your character reference sheet between 2 to 3 weeks before the final deadline for auditions. This is to assure that you will complete your entry, and not just reserve a well-known or witty religion that can't be used in the tournament after all. This will also give some time to people who wanted to try out for that certain religion to perfect reference sheets and audition pieces. So for these people, their reference sheets are due at the final deadline.

13) Did we say have fun or we'll send the ninjas after you? We did? Well, just to remind you.

Q: Can a picture someone else drew be my reference sheet?
A: As stated in the rules, yes you can. BUT the picture must be drawn for you. And you'll also need the permission of the artist.

Q: Can I team up with someone else?
A: Yeah sure, go ahead. Just let us know about it. But remember, if each person wants to make a character, you have to have one fighting at a time, like it says in the rules.

Q: So, can my character be from any race?
A: Mostly no. The character has to be thought human by the host, They have to support a human religion and have to be born/created on earth.

Q: Does the audition have to be in color?
A: Color is optional and you can do what you are most comfortable with. As long as your audition follows the audition scenario,and the quality is good enough so that we, the judges, can understand what is going on, you can do whatever you want. The reference sheet must be in color however.

Q: When is the deadline?
A: So far this is undecided.

Q: What's an OCT?
A: I'm surprised anyone looking at this account would need to ask. An oct is an original character tournament. The artist or writer has to create a character and it's backstory and have it compete against others.

The world often found their answers in religion. Each religion with their own god(s),they contradicted eachother's existence. Wars were waged, innocents enslaved and slaughtered. For the sake of proving one religion superior. recently the clashes have grown greater. The influence of a mysterious entity, by the name of Khaos, has tightened these tensions. Fortunately for the world, a final solution has been proposed.

A tournament would be held to determine the One True Religion whuch would henceforth be accepted by the world. The master of ceremonies was determined to be Geheim Duister, a rather eccentric philanthropist. One representative from each religion would go to fight for their fate.

This is where you come in. You are the lucky soul chosen to protect your beleifs in this grand crusade. Your decisions and actions will determine the fate of the world.Your religion beliefs in your abilities, but do you believe in your own?
