A photograph that isn't so pretty to look at but makes your brain rattle with its concept?

Hello

Just to let everyone know whats going on. For the last two days i have been away with my local newspaper (The Press and Journal) shadowing their photographers, and kinda learning the ropes. It was ace, got to use their beastly Nikon's

and see 3 peoples perspective on photography. Anyhoo that being said, i am also off to Oslo for 5 days next tuesday? i think it is then anyway. So should hopefully get some nice pictures from there

looking forward to it a fair bit actually. So i probably won't submit anything till i'm back...which is sunday night, but then Scrubs series 2 and Takk come out on monday...so i may be occupied

But things are still to come

Woo! the shoutboard has finally been fixed

Anyhoo on a different note, i have just been given, 2 Nikon F-301's and a heap of lenses, including a Sigma Macro lense and numerous zoom lenses. So you may see some different photograph from me soon. Also in about a weeks time my 2 films from my lovely old Pentax should be back with me, and hopefully straight onto here

Hey hey, i r back from Europe and now back from T in the park. Was fantastic. I have decided not to put up any of my photographs until i finished my Gorillaz project...which is now done

For any Sigur Rós fans out there....GO SEE THEM LIVE!!! They are truely amazing. I also will add that i did not take any photographs of the band, mainly because they asked everyone not too, and i respect their wishes unlike the bastard next to me ....WHO TRIED TO SING ALONG WITH THEM....WHY!!!! your not gonna manage it mate...

For the last week i have been into school everyday, working fucking hard at finishing my art folio. The deadline was the 6th of June (today). So last night i didnt go to bed, i spent from about 11pm - 8am working on my art. Finally i had it finished! I thought all was well, i would go into school slam it down on the table and be rid of it forever. But no....i get into school at 9 only to be told to come back at 2 when my teacher has time for me...and on top of that when i come back at 2 i hear that the folio didnt really have to be in for today, we are allowed to spend all of tomorrow and wednesday on it as well....

All i can say is that i am truely fucked off and needed to rant as i have no slept and i fucking rushed my folio to get it in on time. Fuck it....

EDIT :

The next morning i wake up at 4am, to find my wheelie bin on fire at the front of my house. A taxi man was going past and kindly stopped and woke us up. If it had been left for much longer it would have caught onto my home.
NEXT i get attacked by a moth in the shower...smaller scale but still scary!
THIRDLY i go down to glasgow on wednesday to see Mogwai in concert. One of my fav bands...and they canceled...son of a bitch.

Hey everybody, hows it going? I've made the decision to take a little break from DeviantART. I will get round to answering all your comments and thanking you all for favs/watches at some point soon. But for now i won't be submitting anything (well probably won't be) for a while. I'm kind of lacking inspiration. So...the next you will see of me will probably be when i return from Glasgow where i am seeing Mogwai

or even further into the future...when i return from Europe. Im going to be going round Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and France for around about 16 days and im looking forward to the photography i'll get. This break is also partly because i have so much of my art folio (due in on the 6th of June) still to get finished, and however much i like DA...there are more important things to get done.

For god knows how long we have had a great rector at our school called hmmm Mr. J. He left last year and for my final year of school we were the first to experience Mr. L (the new bastard of a rector).

Thank fuck he came in this year because with the changes i hear he is making for next year are so bad....

1. Stopping late mornings for 6th years.
2. Cutting the budget for Art subjects and giving it to subjects like Physics and Chemisty because he is a science man...
3. FUCKING CUTTING PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!

These are but a few things he is proposing to do...

What a shit...I was in school today talking to my photography teacher. He wants to borrow my folio so he can show that bastard and try and convince him to keep the subject. Argh he is driving Aberdeen Grammar School into HELL.

EDIT: Oh yeah he also closed the gate i have used to get in and out of school for the past 5 years...so now i have to take a longer bloody way round...fucker.
