I'm just very lazy, and have nothing much to say. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm not going anywhere.

Doctor Who comes back Christmas day at seven p.m., and Psych returns in January on Wednesdays.

A friend of our family's, Sig Libowitz, directed a film called The Response. Today Sig called us first to tell us that the movie has made it on to the shortlist to be nominated for an academy award! This is really thrilling news, and we're all extremely excited. We'll find out if it receives a final nomination in February!

Also, apparently the official Lionsgate movie page is following me on Twitter. Awesome.

Ohai guys!

It's been a while since I wrote a journal, eh? How've you all been?
Anyway, I may or may not nuke my message center. I've just been super lazy with it recently and I think I have more chance of getting through all of it if it goes BOOM and I can start over.

So, I hit 10,000 pageviews next week and already it's almost at 11,000. Normally I don't care much about views, but 10,000 is a big milestone for me, so thank you all.

I'm watching The Soup at the moment. I watch it every week, but I'd missed this episode, as it's a special one.

Community premiered on NBC this week. I love that show. :'D

School's going averagely so far. I'm looking forward to my web design class, but I have to wait until second semester. :c

I missed dA's 9th birthday! That made me sad. I was here for the 8th, and I wanted to participate in some events this year, since I didn't really last year. :c
I bought Wii Sports Resort. It's quite addicting, and I recommend it to everyone who owns a Wii.

My grandparents are coming into town next weekend. Should be interesting. :/
Oh, and I start my third year of metal-working camp next week as well. That ought to be fun; since I'm considered experienced enough to not hurt myself I can make whatever I want
Oh, and by the way, I was in New Mexico for vacation. It was quite a lot of fun, and I think part of the charm was eating different kinds of food (lots of it involving green chili _{_{_{I'm extremely spice-tolerant. 8D}}}) and seeing all the amazing animals that lived on the farm-thing we were staying at, among them peacocks, goats, donkeys, horses, rabbits, ram sheep, and some very stupid dogs. But I was glad to get back home...I missed you all. There were also llamas that lived on a different farm, which I teased Joel with. :3

Oh! Almost forgot. I've been really behind on my requests and I do apologize for that. But if I kick myself and stop being so lazy, I can get through them, and I definitely will. To those of you waiting, I'm very sorry and you'll have them soon!

I haven't written a journal in a while.
So I just wanted to give some minor updates and things.

Funfax!
My subby went away again.
When I buy myself a subby I also plan to buy some emote stress balls or pins.
I've become slightly obsessed with last.fm.
Torchwood: Children of Earth made me cry harder than I've ever cried before for a movie, book, or TV show.
My iPod was being a bitch for a little bit.
But then I fixed it.

I've decided I love dAmn. If I'm online, you can find me in #JustDiscuss, #WeEmote, and #eightb. So yeah.
I'm working on a few emotes. See them soon, you will.

And, relating to the title, TARDis (the name of my emoticon OC) does stand for something.
In Doctor Who, the Doctor's blue police box time machine is a TARDIS, which stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. TARDis' name is taken from that (because he's dark blue in color) and stands for:

Hello everyone,

Today I was informed of the death of a longtime member of a forum that I frequent. The member's name was Vicky, and was one of the oldest of our members at the age of 26. Some of you may even have known her. She was a member of deviantArt herself, her username was ~auroralockwood.
We are not entirely sure of the cause of her death; one source says a heart attack, another says something related to a blood clot. She passed away two days ago, June 13th, 2009.

If I may, I'll quote the post I left in response to the memorial thread:

I don't know what to say at a time like this. Nobody really does. I didn't know Vicky very well, and I wish I'd gotten to know her better. But even from knowing her simply as an acquaintance, she was an amazing person, and she will be very dearly missed. This is a sad day for the entire [forum name omitted] community, and my heart and condolences go out to Vicky's family and friends.
I wish I had more to say. Something that would better reflect the feelings I have right now, and I regret that I'm not very good with words.

Vicky, everyone here will miss you. We love you, darling.

Vicky, Aurora: You will be missed by everyone who knew you. You were a star, my dear.

Still working on those large emotes. I've discovered, though, that I like doing small chat emotes, so you can expect to be seeing more of those. Like the 8D-mote, for example!

Personal stuffs

My school year is over on Thursday!
And I've finished my exams for the year. My last one was math, which was today. My teacher told us it would be really hard, so our entire class studied our asses off, only to find out the final was as easy as our midterm, which I missed two points on in total. And I'm not good at math. But the good news is that I'll most likely get a good score on my math exam, and I got a 93 out of a possible 100 on my chemistry exam.
This year has gone quick.

Summer

Anybody got any plans for the summer?
I'm taking an art summer school class so that I can get into Cartooning and Web Design next year, and then I'm going to New Mexico. I've never been, and I'm excited.

I wish I could go surfing again this year.
Unfortunately, my home town isn't the right place for that.

...Having the ability to watch Doctor Who and Torchwood in full episodes online. I know it's technically illegal, but the fact that I'm going to buy the DVDs lessens my guilt somewhat. Besides, the website I've got lets you watch Classic!Who. And do you know how rare that is? Fucking rare.
So anyways, Janto secks is one of the greatest things about Torchwood. It's just so...epic. As you can see from that nifty Janto Compilation module I spent 20 minutes making for my profile page.
If Torchwood's numerous writers and consultants ever ever ever kill off Ianto, I may just stop watching (obviously, there's no need to worry about Jack dying). I'd be heartbroken, one, because who doesn't adore Ianto, two, who could make sex with Jack more sexy than Ianto, and three, Ianto really has been a great influence on Jack and I'm really not sure what he'd do if Ianto died.

AND AND AND the fellow TDF Whovians and I have been speculating that Ten's regeneration might feature a regeneration flashback, which would be just epic and amazing. Some Classic!Who Doctors had them, and I really think they should have done one for Eight, especially since no one knows (literally) how he regenerated in the first place.
By the way, did you know that Doctor Who is the longest running show on TV? It says so in the Guiness Book of World Records. Go look it up. Doctor Who has been on since 1963. No joke.

Anyway, if you've gotten this far, I congratulate you. This journal has no real point, except I felt like doing one and I wanted to do a little bit of a Doctor Who/Torchwood rant, especially since I just watched Jack and Ianto make out. _{_{_{I have one of the make-out frames paused in another tab right now. Secks. ._.}}}

I haven't done a journal in forevarrrr. D: It's because I didn't want my userpage to drop the CSS. And I was too lazy to log in because of my cluttered inbox.

So, I went on mini-hiatus. Well...large-hiatus. But I'm back now.

Okay, now that I'm back, I have new rules.

It's awesome. The internet is much faster, and animations are so smooth, and a lot faster (this makes emotes look even better)!

ACEN and comments

Oh, geez. I haven't been on in a while, and i come back to so many messages, although...i know lots of people get a lot more...

so, over the weekend i went to ACEN with and and my friend Ichigo. It was really fun, but i forgot to pre-register, so i had to wait in the registration line for like three hours. By the time i got out of the line my feet were killing me and i was in a hyper state...for about a half an hour, until i got sort of mad because i realised i had missed all the panels i had wanted to go to.

school is almost over! wahoo! only four more weeks to go!

so...i'm gonna try and get to all your comments, of which there are now...after having answered a few...149. Wow, i think that's a new record for me. XD

argh! I have to go, without answering more comments! ...or mentioning my clubs...sorry...

I uploaded my first emote today! yay! i made it using 's tutorial for GIMP emotes, and i'm really proud of mr. emote! XD I'll be uploading more stuff soon, i promise.

I'm taking this art class at my school, and i'm hoping i can put some of that art up here too, as soon as it gets graded...i have some pictures that i'm coloring and maybe i can get them up tonight or tomorrow. Other than that, i don't really have anything to say...oh well.

ACEN starts a week from tomorrow!

What I've been working on...

I did more art today...yay! as soon as i color it and can get to my scanner i'll put it on. i also have some colored art that i want to put on....on the other hand, i've been going crazy with GIMP and have been editing the heck out of a lot of photos. I'm still new to the program, so if anyone has any tips for me, i'd greatly appreciate it!

i guess...that's all!

hello! i still apologize for the lack of deviations...my scanner is still unaccessible. shoot. i keep forgetting to dowload GIMP. (thanks to for telling me about it...and for the wacom tablet link.) i've been going around and ing a lot of things, so my favorites section is quite large, now. i've been drawing a lot of chibis recently and i really want to put them up here too when i get a chance. but i'll be busy this week and next week...and the week after that too...ah, well.

oh, and i've been trying to join a lot of clubs, too...i wonder if i'll get into them...

Ah, Top Chef. My favorite Bravo tv show. The thing that makes my Wednesdays worthwhile. The best real---ok, i just missed the end cuz i was too busy with my Deviantart messages. ah! now the new one's on! hooray! PASTRY EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're gonna go see Second City, my favorite comedy show! ok, gotta go...ugh, have to clean my room.

i tried to go to the art institute (in Chicago) today and draw, but there was a really long line to get in and it was going to take too long to get into the Edward Hopper exhibit, which is what i wanted to see...so i didn't go. Sigh...
