Hello kiddies! I'm bored and too lazy to do my homework, so I have decided to write another journal.

I still haven't gotten a new camera, but I'll be taking some more pics with my father's. I plan on wondering around some industrial areas here and in the Toronto-Lake shore area. There are some very cool looking abandoned--some still active--factories that I pass by every time I go to Mississauga.

I also acquired an iPod. Which was promptly stolen. I fucking hate people. What the fuck makes someone think that they deserve someones property more than the owner? It was fucking awesome. I had over twenty hours of music AND Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle and Silent Hill on it. Moral of the story: never leave anything of value in your schools change room. Yeah, I know it was stupid, but I only left it unatended for about 10 minutes. So I'm now back to my minuscule 1 gig player.

This picture amuses me: :thumb39170666:

So yeah, I guess this post wasn't really necessary, but I feel like telling the world about my insignificant little life.

Ooh! I'm also going to see Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan today.
I can't wait. I've been looking forward to this movie for months.

Today, I popped some new batteries into my camera and turned it on. Looked at the screen: white. Changed to picture viewing mode: white. Video mode: white. This has happened before, but only for a few minutes. I've taken out the batteries and let it sit for an hour to reset and put them back in; still white. I checked the net to see if anyone else has had this problem, and about 1/3 of the reviews complain about the same problem. I'm going to have to either get it repaired or get a new camera. Since it's still under warranty I won't have to pay for it, but I'm still pissed. I'm hoping to get a refund, or at least store credit, because I don't want another camera that will die in 6 months.

Today, I was supposed to take the 18:00 train to Mississauga, but after waiting on the track for 15 minutes (I always get there early), they told us the train was canceled, and I had to wait for the 18:25 train to Union Station, with the possibillity of it continuing on to Mississauga and whatnot. Well, I had my book and mp3 player, so I tolerated it.

When the train finally arrived, we weren't told whether or not the train would continue on. well at Union Station they finally told us it wouldn't continue on, but didn't give us a track number to transfer trains. So I wandered around union for a while, got a hotdog and bottle of water at a stand on Front Street, and talked to the cool stand guy. If anyone reading this has ever been to Toronto, you'd know there are some pretty cool photography spots near Union Station.

Well I pulled my camera out of my backpack and 'Oh Fuck!' it had no batteries in it. I forgot to put them back in after I put them in the charger. So I would have had some good photos submitted by now, if I didn't forget the fucking batteries!

After that I took the subway to Mississauga, and I will be getting more batteries tomorrow, but I'm still pissed that I forgot them in the first place.

I have realized that I havn't taken any pictures since my trip to Pennsylvania a few weeks ago. Instead of playing Splinter Cell all day in my wonderfully dark basement, I need to get out to some local photography spots. I will try to have some more photos Submitted by next friday, and since I'm going to mississauga next week, I might have some industrial photos worth uploading.
