Once again, an update after several months of little to no activity. My desktop computer is still an idiot, but I guess it's fine as long as I can do my stuff...even if it does shut down on me every now and then. Usually when I'm doing too many things at once or it's been on for a good while (usually 6-8 hours).

It seems that after becoming a senior, my fuse has shortened. I find underclassmen incredibly irritating now, and violent urges are becoming more and more frequent. I've yelled at freshmen and sophomores, gotten so mad to the point where I've had to leave the room to prevent myself from throwing punches, even though I could have been happy and smiling the minute before. I might be bipolar. Maybe. I don't know. It's bad to self diagnose. I might just have a senior-superiority-complex. Or both. Either way.

Halloween is fast approaching! I am delighted by this, as the horror movies are quite abundant on tv, and candy is far from scarce. Which is weird, because we still haven't gone out and bought our Halloween candy...we might do that tomorrow. I don't know. We should. Sometime soon. As far as plans go, I'm pretty chill this year. I might dress up for school, I might not. Mostly because of the fact that I don't know if I'll want to wake up in the morning to take care of makeup. I might just want to wake up and throw some clothes on. I do know that I'll be dressing up for the football game friday evening. After school, I'll be awake enough to do all my creepy zombie make-up and prepare myself to be scary. Saturday is the same thing, except I'll be going out and scaring kids in town and then going over to my friend Kathryn's house with a bunch of people. We might have a bonfire, might not. Depending on how cold it is. But we'll also be having a horror movie marathon/sleep over. Mostly because if we're gonna be watching horror flicks all night, no one will want to go home at 5 in the morning.

Alright. Figured I'd do an update AGAIN. I've been drawing, but my desktop is being a douchepocket. It's running uber slow, it shuts down on its own. We've tried alot to fix it, but it doesn't seem to work. So until we get it fixed, uploads will be scarce. And it turns out that one of my favorite paintchat sites was actually disabling my anti-virus program and screwing up my computer. So I can't go there anymore. But I guess it doesn't really matter, I was sick of some of the people there.

On that note, people just seem to piss me off lately. Those who talk too much, those who think the world revolves around them, those who are two-faced, those who would sooner stab you in the back then say "hello". It's people like these who often make me wonder why I even attempt to be social. Senior year is approaching fast, and if all I find are these types again, I might just end up secluding myself in the corner and telling everyone to fuck off. Oh well. Sorry for ranting.

Figured I'd get rid of that other journal. 'Tis old and stuff... I've been in abit of a rut for afew weeks. Haven't been able to draw anything properly or I just haven't had the motivation to draw. Don't really get what's wrong with me... So I'm attempting to work my way out of this. I want to draw, I do! I just can't draw anything right...so all my darlings, give me afew ideas. Maybe taking afew suggestions will spark something in my head.

My summer's been incredibly boring so far. I've been stuck in my house ever since school let out, I'm surprised I haven't gone stir crazy. But even though I've been lazing about, next week will be pretty full. On the 21st I have senior pictures for the yearbook, so just my cap and gown and formals. My cousin Jenna is doing the casuals; she has a great eye for photography. The 22nd and 23rd will probably be spent cleaning, as the 24th my beloved boyfriend is flying down from Chicago to spend a long weekend with us. And the 27th is our one year anniversary, and also the day he's flying back home. It'll be sad, but it'll be wonderful as well.

Anywho, I guess this was just an update to let everyone know I'm still alive....somewhat..

Ohmigawd, MTAC is fast approaching! Less than a month away.... But I've already got my pass, so yay. <3 Going all three days, wewt! Man, it's been awhile since I updated this... Life has been good so far. For Christmas I got to see my beloved (he lives afew hours away so it was a nice visit), a new digital camcorder, and a new sewing machine so I should be able to make some more hats and stuff. How fun!

Due to my friend's influence, I've recently become addicted to a lesser known but extremely fabulous movie called Repo! The Genetic Opera. It's from the producers of the Saw movies, but I wouldn't suggest it to everyone, seing it's a rock opera musical. xD But if you enjoy plastic surgery, blood, repossessing organs, and a little 17 year old girl stuck in the middle of it all without a clue, then I recommend it.

It's been a long while since I've updated this, hasn't it? I really didn't have alot to report for the past few months. Christmas came and went, I got a boyfriend, Valentine's Day, dumped him before spring break because I thought he was going to be moving, learn he's not moving, confused as to what to do about that, yada yada. As I said, nothing major.

Ever do something to scare your parents so badly that you just end up crying for no reason? Today I had a field trip to go see Julius Caesar at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. I was tired, it had been a long day. And as soon as I got home, I checked afew things, and fell asleep on the office floor around 4:30. Unfortunately, I was out like a light, and didn't hear the phone ring. At all. Around 6, I wake to hear the garage door opening, and mom rushes into the house. Turns out she'd been calling the landline and my cell phone for the past hour and I didn't hear it. Seeing her standing there in the doorway, shaking like a leaf barely hanging on to the tree branch in November, with that frightened expression on her face.....I just couldn't help but start to cry...

That's all to report for now. MTAC is coming in afew weeks, so I'll have plenty to report after that. <3

Well, school has been in for afew months now, and I'm now officially on fall break. Or, atleast, after a half hour I will officially be on fall break. Yes, the first 9 weeks have come and gone, along with mid-term exams. And, I tell you, my art exam was HARD. Spanish was easy, biology was easy, algebra was easy. Art was the only thing I had problems with.

Other than that, nothing major is going on. Well, good news. I'm drawing more now, and improving. Slowly but steadily, I am. So there will be more pics coming in the near future. So I'm setting a new goal. Finish the 100 Theme Challenge before 2008. Call it crazy, but I'm going to try.

Well, the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention has come and gone. Uber cold weekend, and stupid me had to wear a costume that involved a skirt. Though it also involved knee-high socks, I ended up freezing, since the line for the dealer room, cosplay contest, and the rave went outside, seeing as it was so long. But I'm still alive, thank god. No frostbite. Just alot of sneezing. Got some uber cute things from the dealer room, like a black Mokona bag (I swear, that thing is small but fits so much!!), a black baby-tee that says "I Can't Dance Without Arrows", and a Death Note (no, I have not tried it yet. And I don't intend to). Plus I bought a Gackt picture for a friend that couldn't attend.

I'm already planning my cosplay for next year, I am. My friend and I, the one who came with me this year, are going to try to cosplay as Saku and Bo from .Hack//G.U, and we're going to enter the cosplay contest. We changed our minds. Instead of doing Saku and Bo, we're gonna do Soel and Larg (AKA White and Black Mokona) from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles/XxXHolic. If that doesn't work, we'll try to do the Hitachiin twins from Ouran High School Host Club. And if that fails....then we're screwed. ^^

Wow...it's been a while since I've updated this thing, hasn't it? And since I've posted anything....All my pics turn out like crap or I can't scan them since my teacher wants them... Either way, I assure you, I'm not dead. I'm just.....letting my slothish side show more.

That aside, I'm happy. I'm getting good grades in art and my teacher wants to put some pieces into the art fair. Makes me very happy. One I'll probably post here in afew days, the other I'll see if I can scan it without ripping it out of my art sketchbook. If so, then happy day. If not, then tough luck.

On another note, I killed my ankle the other day! I tried stopping on the swings and I was going to fast when I put my foot down and my ankle bent backwards. XD Exactly why I never wear heels to parties ever again. Lucky me, my boyfriend (Yes, I have a boyfriend) carried me back inside. It swelled for afew days, but the swellings gone now, and it's all bruised and ugly. But whatever.

And so school is back.Summer is over,and the textbooks have returned...or,as I say on the first day of school... "Welcome back to the insanity." Yeah,FS is a freshman now. We get tomorrow off,and then thursday and friday are full days. Well,so far so good.

Ever end up laughing when you get your report card in the mail and you're so scared to open it,thinking that it'll be bad,and when you finally open it,you see how good your final grades are? Yup. ^^ Been there.Got my report card in the mail on Saturday and I'm thinking "Please let me get good grades!I want those markers!" (My dad and I made a deal that if I got all A's on my report card that he'd get me a set of Prismacolor markers.) My hands were shaking as I ripped open the envelope.And as I pulled out the paper and unfolded it,I couldn't believe it.....well,guess what peoples!I'm getting a set of Prismacolor markers! ^^- All A's. ^^- Happy happy day...

I find the weirdest things in my garage... Oo; Just today I found something that I never thought I would find again--a box turtle. oo; *told ya it was weird* It was still alive too! Covered in cobwebs and grass clippings,it was trying to crawl under the toolbox. Had Mutti go and get it,I did. We were just standing there,holding the turtle,laughing.So!We have dubbed him Fred the box turtle. ^^ Why Fred,you may ask?Why not Shelly or Sheldon? I dunno.He just looked like a Fred to me. It's funny,because I never thoguht I would find another turtle in my garage. (Back at my old home,we found afew baby snapping turtles in our garage.) And so,yeah. We let Fred go in our backyard. And so the final days of my junior high life are coming closer.Only two more days and I'm a freshman. Dear god,those seniors are gonna eat me alive! And I now realize that not everything will be the same as I leave. Some in the junior high will cry in sorrow,very few though,and some will laugh in relief,cherishing my absence. And I find that nothing I do will change it. I do not fear for my reputation, as those who see my attitude know. I do not fear for my social status,as those who see my attire know. In my ascention from the top of the food chain as an eighth grader to back down at the bottom as a freshman,I do feel resolve in knowing that I have a clean slate. I can now find some peace knowing that I can start anew in a certainly frightening place. Despite the fact that I will soon feel so small in a world so big,I'm not afraid.Oddly enough,I feel no fear. I feel nothing but joy knowing that a heavy weight will be lifted off my shoulders.

Getting off that subject,I have recently viewed one of the year's most controversial films -- The DaVinci Code. My exact words as I walked out of the theater? "Frankly,I'm not one for religious films,but holy crap,that was awesome." I'm rather surprised why critics have given it such bad reviews,seeing as though it has some aspects for everyone. Suspense,mystery,some comedy,action,though I do suggest being careful not to have the popcorn in your lap if you're as jumpy as I am,meaning that if someone sneaks up on you and you're doing something else and that person speaks,you hit your head on the ceiling. I do find that anyone who loves filling in the blanks as the movie goes along will need to make a bee-ling for their local movie theater.For those who haven't read the book,I suggest doing so during the summer,as I will. In my opinion,on a scale of 1 to 10,I give The DaVinci Code a 9 1/2.
