Well, no point starting now.

Looks like the 4th PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie is called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides [link] , which is also the name of a book dealing with pirates who are after the Fountain of Youth, and whose author will supposedly appear in the film as an extra, as my exhaustive (2 minutes) search revealed to me.

~DomOrdep also found a website with a rumor saying Captain Nemo and his submarine the Nautilus, from Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, are going to show up in the film even though the Pirates movies take place about 150 years before Captain Nemo was born.

My friends define a nerd as either just a guy who studies a lot, a guy who doesn't make friends and is anti-social, or just a guy who likes stuff related to computers.

So, if anyone knows (or think they know) what a nerd is, please share! I won't be able to tell you if you're right and wrong! We're kind of trying to decide who is the nerdest of us all.

But keeps allerting me to the fact that I have 199 deviations already, so I should make my 200th one a special one. (leave it to this kid to bug me with stuff like this )

So I'm making this drawing which is not very much by itself, so I decided to make a little contest to go with it. I'll give some clues about it and see if you can guess what is it (for example, is it a character sitting in a board saying "200", a Beavolution on Youtube with "200" in the red square that says "tube", etc.)

This ain't that hard really:
- It features 13 characters;
- Foster (the main character) is in the middle.
- It's called "Pass the Salt" (so it's something to do with meals).
- Is a reference to a work which was also poked fun at by Monty Python (it wasn't from there I got the idea, but I just remembered).

The award is: the picture will also have a reference to something related to the person who guesses what's it about, or the person who gets closest.

And Fotus is declassified only for the reason that with this clues it's already too easy for him (plus we use the same computer, so he can just look for it here). He already has the award anyway (one of the characters is his nubber version).

These two whackos decided that, when a student can't make it to school (which is, misses some classes - in here if you miss a class you get a note in the class book) he or she has to do an exam about the things taught in the classes missed. And if we fail that test, we repeat the year! Ain't that funny?

So basically everyone at my school is on manifestation on the city centre. I'm not with them, I'm at home - instead of 700 people they get 699, big deal. I helped convincing about 20 people from my class to do it though, that's not so bad.

On cooler news, OBAMA WON, BABY! Remember this day, November 5th 2008, 'cause it's gonna be on every History book from now on! The first time anywhere in the world, a country mainly inhabited by whites is leaded by a black person!

I actually found out about it from my Dad, then I watched John McCain's speech... he has a nice way to lose. Very sportist.

On the article of Sir Peter Scott:
He is also remembered for giving the scientific name of Nessiteras rhombopteryx (based on a blurred underwater photograph of a supposed fin) to the Loch Ness Monster so that it could be registered as an endangered species. The name, based on Greek, means "the wonder of Ness with the diamond shaped fin" but is also an anagram of "Monster hoax by Sir Peter S". However, Robert Rines countered with the fact that they can also be arranged into "Yes both pix are monsters, R."

I don't know what the fuss is all about on Jesus's birth. So a star crossed the skys. So the Virgin Mary had a baby. Virgin births are common now. Almost everyone is born a virgin.

However, 2008 is almost here , which is to say that we're all waiting for the following:

- The Olimpics (and the movie Asterix and the Olimpic Games)
- The end of the war (probably not gonna happen)
- The movie Chronicles of Spiderwick (whoohoo!)
- I'm turning 14
- The Apocalypse
- The "Apocalypto II"
- Etc.

Bloody hell, I spend almost every day drawing now. But it's in my huge sketch pad, so I can't scan the damn things...

Anyways, after December 25th, I'll be free for comissions if you want to (i don't know why you would want, but whatever... the only comissions my schoolmates want are pictures of semi-naked chicks anyway).

These are the bad news. The good news is this:

This thursday there will come out a fantastic book called "O Tempo do Não Tempo" ("The time of the non-time"), by João Firmino, and also his CD. This a CD of songs, most of them poems from the book.
The book is really cool too. If you like poetry and general philosophy and intelectuality, there's nothing better then buying it.

But of course, there are also bad things. The book is filled with poor-rated illustrations, and they are poor-rated because they are drawn by an incompetent amatour illustrator who is, basically, me.

And the CD, along with the great voice of João Firmino, and in some, the familiar voice of Diogo Chorão, also has in a couple of songs a nice choir of cranky monkey-like voices (which are supposed to be human voices) played by me and the sublime artist João Frazão. Also with the familiar voices of our parents/siblings in some spoken auditions.

For Portuguese folks who wanna come watch, the presentation, in which the whole crew of the CD will act, is in Lisboa (or Lisbon), in El Corte Inglês, this thursday. See you there.

Fachavor, tenham a decência de limpar esses pés antes de entrarem neste fabuloso mundo de badalhoquice e estupidezes que é o Universo do Mitorama (ou Mythorama, como lhes chamam em estrangeiro).

Aqui, os amantes da mitologia, do sobrenatural (ou sobnatural, também) da BD e da pimbalhada vão-se achar muito confortáveis, principalmente por aqui haver todas essas coisas. Aqueles que não encontrarem nenhuma destas coisas na galeria de arte é bom que vão ao médico e depressa. Bute!

Ora, eu sou cartoonista por duas razões, mas como de momento só me lembro de uma, só vou dizer essa.
Quando era para eu me inscrever em uma de duas artes, tinha de escolher entre desenhice e música hip-hop. Como não gostava nada de música, puseram-me no hip-hop. Aquilo correu bem até as pessoas começarem a fazer downloads inlegais das minhas músicas, côsa que me lixou a vida. Dez meses depois apercebi-me de que não se podia fazer downloads ilegais de desenhos (acho eu), por isso inscrevi-me na desenhice, e aqui estou eu.
Já faço desenhos há 13 anos e ainda não passei de rabiscos, por isso estão a ver.

Tenho um aprendiz, chamado Ricardo, a quem ensinei variadas técnicas de desenho, em troca de ele não me dar tanta cachaporrada, côsa que continua a dar. Também tenho um mestre, chamado André, com quem ainda não aprendi grande côsa, e qe ainda hoje me continua também a dar cachaporrada. E depois há um gajo chamado João a quem eu chamo "melhor amigo" (ele chama-me "saco de cachaporrada").

Para esses bandidos que imprimiram os meus desenhos, que eu sei, que apagaram a minha assinatura e metem lá a deles e os vendem nas ruas, só quero dizer isto: como diz o Rouxinol Faduncho:
«Há-de-vos dar uma sotura tão grande, mas tão grande, que há-de estar quatro dias a arrotar pepino.»
Má nada.

Queria agradecer a todos aqueles que tornaram estes desenhos possíveis:
- Aos meus pais, que compram o papel e a caneta.
-Ao meu irmão, que me chateia o juízo de tal forma que me faz gostar de estar vivo.
-Ao João, que me dá muita inspiração quando não me está a dar cachaporrada.
-À , que não percebe nada do que aqui está escrito derivado de ser polaca.
-E a outro João, o João Firmino, o mê patrão, que me obriga a desenhar, portanto logo ali, aumenta-se a desenhice, porque tenho de desenhar para mim e para ele.
-E agradeço aos criadores do deviantArt por me deixarem pôr tanto lixo no site deles.
