Right, so my first week is at an end and I have notes and reading for homework and a quiz Monday.

Anatomy & Phisiology 101 is actually very interesting and enjoyable. The teacher does her job well, making it easy for information to soak in if you let it. I have my first quiz this Monday on 11 pages in the text and on class notes, so I should do fine with some studying.

Oral Interpretation is outrageous. It's a speech class for sure, but it seems more like an acting troop audition then anything else. We are to put on performances in front of the class*which is small*. Our first performance will soon be upon the class, and we have to act out an event that happened to us while saying a piece of poetry or writing that relates to that event. Meaning we'll be hopping and bouncing all over while saying the bit of writing, not saying a word about the event of our past itself, just the writing part. I feel overly nervous about it, but I feel I should be okay if I put my mind to it.

Biochemistry is labeled as my hardest course this year, mostly because the class seems so disorganized. I had trouble following the teacher, and half-way through I ran out of pencil led in my mechanical pencil, which didn't improve my confusion feeling that left me frustrated already. We don't have homework or quizzes, just two tests and one final... This is going to be MURDER on me... I've never had this teacher before, so I'll have to really do well in the lab just in case if my first test is a total bust...

As for labs themselves and Senior Seminar, I'll be having them next week. There was no school this past Monday, and that's when Seminar is, so it was cancelled. Labs were also off, since we needed to take the stupid HazMat training. Got out early by telling the speaker what FACTOR meant according to the lame training videos I've seen the past three years...

Anyway, that's life. I've got little homework, but I'm going to get it done as soon as possible so that I can just study on Sunday and Monday morning for the Anatomy quiz.

Made more progress with the Higurashi pic, but I won't post till I finish, since I'm shading and highlighting as I go, and then the background will be tweaked and finished.

I'm thinking of drawing something with my OCs soon. Omega and Beta especially, I need to give my rp Oc's some more lub.

My old OC's, Jacob, Sapphire, Sierra (LOL), Koaru, Kota, and Kitoshi need some lubbin', too. I should play with them, too. Oh yes, and I'm going to tweak them some, too, so look forward to it.

Well, I'm tired. I'm going to try and do some more notes, then I'll hit the sack. Mom had her operation today, and she got through it just like I said she would, though recovery won't be any less painful... She goes back for a follow-up operation later, but I'm sure everything will be fine, especially with God watching over us.

I'll keep you all posted. I need to make prints and mail stuff, but I haven't been able to get to the shop since school started... Kinko's is my print place and shipping location, but getting there is a problem with only me, mom, and sis at home and unable to go anywhere with mom recovering. I just hope my customers will be patient with the lag ;;;

More excited then she should be...

I'm so happy to be back. The sight, smell, and atmosphere of the college is so refreshing. I've already had some problems here and there, having forgotten some items that I had to buy at 3x the amount on campus because I needed them right away. I also forgot a notebook*headdesk*, but my roommate let me borrow one of hers, so horay for awesome people.

Classes officially start today, but no labs because we need to go through training before they let us use the labs*no matter what grade you are* It's just a silly video and a piece of paper, but I'm stuck in the auditorium for 45 minutes <_<;;

I have speech class today and a meeting with my work study boss, so that'll keep me busy for now. Tomorrow I have my first Anatomy class, and that's the only class of the day. None of my classes start before 10am this year and I love it. It's nice to be able to relax in the morning and eat my breakfast without rushing it*still having trouble slowing down though thanks to grade school*.

Art is still rolling along. I finished the flat colors for Megurine Luka and recently started to shade the Higurashi fanart. I'm hoping I won't be stalled too much in that department.

I best enjoy this week to the fullest, since no labs, no seminar, and time before heading off to my DOOM. Not really XD This year I have so much free time =w= Only thing that I'm worried at all about is Anatomy class. It's going to be the hardest class from my understanding, but that is likely to change.

Commissions are still open, as I still have to save up cash to get the item I want. Money is tight in my house, I don't have a job*work study not included*, and life is about necessities over luxuries. It won't kill to wait for Christmas, but I'm not going to stop commissions. I'll also be saving for buying presents for the family at Christmas time. I've got my eye on a few gifts that would be perfect for the family, just have to save what I can.

Alright, I'm going to laze about some more before 11 when I go to speak about my work study hours. Shouldn't be much of a day, but who knows?

I WANT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!! I WANT TO GO BACK TO COLLEGE AND LEARN MORE AND BE AROUND MY FRIENDS AGAIN!!!!

*breaths heavily from screaming*

Yeah, I'm really amped to go back to school, this week can't be short enough in my view. I want to go back to college, hang out with my friends, learn more and more, and prepare for the PCAT that I'm taking in October. I'm just so excited to get back, I need to get out of this room before I die of lack of social contact with the world. And interacting with my family is NOT the same as hanging out with friends. Family is family, friends are different, but sadly everyone is either out of state or at a year long college. It's really lonely without them around ;^;

Anyway, I finished drawing the Summer pic for mom. First Spring, then Summer, it came out faster than expected, but there is some perspective things to fix up*mainly the deck part is in need of tweaking* aside from that it is good to go X3

Megurine Luka was updated a while back, but no progress so far since I've been feeling down.


BUT GET THIS! I WOKE UP AND FOUND THE UNEXPECTED!!!!
I pushed in my bed, boot up my computer, and look down at my floor... At first I thought I was seeing things, but no, there they sat. A whole litter of baby mice... Bald, breathing, living baby mice, and the mother was back behind the bed in a corner. I'm lucky none of the babies were crushed when I moved the bed, but the mom is still on the loose. Traps were set up to catch her. The litter was dealt with by putting them outdoors at the bottom of the driveway in some bushes. Now, some may say that's cruel, well that's what my baby sister said, and then mom explained the 'that's life' view point, and I made it clear that they were unwanted pests in our house. I was lucky they didn't do any damage that I know of at the time, but there were no signs of the buggers before. Normally we find food and turds in the kitchen and in the cupboards, but nope.

Yeah, I thought I was seeing things when I saw the liter of mice by my feet, but I was more exited then freaked out. Mostly because I think the birth of children is a beautiful miracle given to the world by God. Too bad though, I had no intention of keeping the pests as pets, and the mother wasn't going to be caught alive, so the babies would have died anyway <_<

Right, I'm getting back to being lazy. I'm so lazy that I rarely get hungry XD;;

Here we go again...

I haven't updated or checked in for a while now because of all the things happening in the past two weeks. So much running around and business to take care of, keeping me from my art and internet fun time*mumblemumble*

Oh well, what's done is done, but I've got to go out AGAIN tomorrow to take care of more business. Fortunately I've gotten some art progress underway*especially with the commissions*. So I'm hoping to finish that soon enough.

And a couple days ago I got something in the mail, you know what it was? It was my Kagami Hiragii Miku Hatsune cosplay figma! She's so freakin' cute! I played with her a lot after getting her out of the box*I never keep figures in boxes, especially action figures. I always take them out, pose them up, and put them on display. I'll never sell them, because they are my babies ~<3

KagaMiku is just too precious, her and her adorable leeks X3
It'll be even better when I'm able to buy the Haruhi Konata cosplay figma and have her join the ranks on my shelf.

Only thing is, figmas are fragile, VERY fragile. I read a lot about accidents and broken parts, and KagaMiku already had her left leg mended with super glue when I got her (not that I really care, since the other leg moves and only one needs to move for me to be happy) and I tried to move it and the joint that had been repaired broke. I grabbed some super glue of my own, mended it, and she looks good as new. I'm keeping a close eye on her to make sure nothing else breaks*snuggles her*

Okay, enough of my inner geek, now back to art. The flash project is a bit stalled at the moment because not only am I doing commissions, but one of them my mom ordered that she payed me with some nice new business cards for my art business and some lovely magnets of an old art piece. I'll be handing out the cards and selling the magnets next PortCon, so watch out for me if you go next year, okay? X3

Thunderclaps and school preparations

Well, as weird as the weather is in my state, the heat wave continues to last, with thunder and lightning storms to boot. I hate lighting and thunder so much...

Aside from that, today and tomorrow is school shopping time for clothes and anything else needed. I had a whole new wardrobe bought for me to replace my male attire. I've worn guy clothes for years, and this is the first time, of my own will, that I've got and am going to wear girl clothing. My mom nearly had a heart attack when I told her about it and treated me like a doll at Sears. I enjoyed shopping for the most part, but it's a lot more hard work to shop for clothes than I though ;;;

Anyway, I'm beat, so I'm going to sleep. Hopefully tomorrow won't be as tiring. Commissions are still open by the way X3

Okay, so after talking to mom after bills were payed, I don't have the money to get the rare cosplay Konata figma I was after*which the cheapest is $100 with the shipping and handling*. And the money in my savings is for school supplies and such, so that leaves me with only one path to take...

Commissions. In order to achieve my goal to get that figma, the only way I'll be able to achieve such a feet is through commissions. Needless to say, my commission journal needs tiding up, but I'm hoping to have it up and running late tonight.

I have a lot of projects, yes, but to achieve the goal of getting that rare figma before it disappears I'm more than willing to put them on hold.

Now, I've gotta fix up that journal. Spice it up and edit prices. Whether or not I'll be able to achieve my goal by this route is also questionable, since there is tons of other artists with kick arse skills, so I'll just have to hope the figma stays in stock on ebay long enough for me to grab it.

Alright, I'm going to get to work on that journal. I completed a new traditional art that looks beautiful, but it's on 11x14 bristol, so I'll be posting a picture instead of a scanned image*scanner can't even handle my 9x10 bristol =w=;;

My inner geek is showing...

Okay, first to those who said Happy Birthday, thank you for remembering despite my poor memory for dates with birthdays and such, it really was a spirit lifter.

Now, onto the main topic... I use to be into collecting rare items, on the scale of ripping off someone's arm level. When I was a kid, I was always eager to get my hands on anything rare, from TYs to Pokemon cards, but I slowly let that die as I started getting to managing my money better.

However, thanks to the invention of the Figma, that inner ravid collector is going insane. No, I don't have one...yet. I asked for the Miku cosplay Kagami figma for my birthday, and plan to order it tomorrow, but I also have spotted the Haruhi cosplay Konata figma and now want to make it mine. It's really expensive, but discontinued and very rare. I want it really badly, despite the pricing, so I'm probably going to scrape up a hand and a foot to pay for it regardless.

So yeah, and then I see all the other awesome figmas and now have decided I'll collect them slowly. At least the ones I like. I'm more interested in the rare cosplay ones and the specials than the plain ones. But I know I won't get the PS2 Haruhi figure, mainly because I don't like the look of it.

There were only two figmas at the con, a Shana and a Haruhi(cheerleader version), they didn't appeal to me, so I didn't buy.

Yeah, I can feel myself going broke and remaining that way for the rest of my life XD;;;
When I open up commissions, I'll probably be saving the money for Figmas ;;;

I'm such a sucker for these things XD

So yeah, end talk thing where I show how much of a geek I am. I'm going to go broke now ^_^;

I was so happy to have them back, they still have pain, but were subscribed some medication to deal with it until they recover completely.

Needless to say, I'm overjoyed about it, really truly I am. God helped them get out of the hospital, and I could never thank Him enough for His kindness.

In other news, I feel inspired. I'm not sure how fast it'll happen, but there should be some new art coming your way fast. There are several images in my mind right now, so I should punch out a lot of sketches for further development. I plan to do more CG, since I like the way they look in print a lot better than traditional. No matter what scanner you use, the color quality will always dim a bit. I really want to draw some Rozen Maiden fanart and more Disgaea*haven't done that in a while*...

I think the inspiration is thanks to the person's release from hospital care. So yeah, less talking, more drawing*runs away*

*tired and worn out*

Hey, just letting you know that I'm alive. The past two days I haven't once turned on my computer and had to fight through a sea of messages once I logged on. I have one heck of a headache from the cold I must have caught from the hospital, and it isn't helping my writer's block...

Aside from that, someone very precious to me has been in the hospital since Thursday. The problem they have has to work itself out, but they can't leave because something could rupture and they would be just rushed back to the ER. The good news is that all the tests showed that their organs are in tip-top shape, which is very good to hear, but because said person is out of the house, and everyone else is either working or away, it's so deathly quiet here. The house is empty without them being here...

The doctors say that they will get through the pain with medication and wait it out, because surgery is a last resort option for the problem at hand.

I'm not saying anything more than that.

Anyway, long story short, I feel like shit. But a good thing did happen, my friend came back from college on break and visited me today, so that cheered me up, but I still miss the person in the hospital very very much. I can only pray that God will watch over them and help them recover quickly.

After almost two years of prep work for the site, Gates of Redemption is finally opened to the public.


Q: So what is Gates of Redemption (GoR)?
Gates of Redemption is an online role-playing forum in which members can roleplay as their own characters with other people. It's a social forum and we hope you make friends and have fun along the way.

Q: That didn't clarify everything.... What's it about?
Well.... Gates of Redemption has some history to it, but in easier terms; In the city of Gravidal, an enclosed place cut off by the outside world, is being plagued with an alien lifeforce that the Annex military's been trying to contain for centuries: Syndrome, an intelligent lifeform with the intent to take over the human race. Annex is the only force Gravidal has to kill off the Parasite, Syndrome's infectees, and save the city as well as the rest of the world.

Q: Much better...So what's Annex and Syndrome?
Annex- Gravidal's military force and only protection from the Parasites.
Parasite- or Syndrome, an intelligent life form from out of Earth

Reason? Because it's going to take a LONG time before I get to it, since I'm working on plenty of things right now and found out that I actually have a real life*SHOCKover9000*

So yeah, re-opened, so hack at it.

In other news, I'm slowly progressing with my flash project. Piecing Omega's emotion sheet together will be a bit of a pain, but worth it in the end. I still have yet to post up the pics from PortCon, but bear with me, as I don't like sticking to a list order. I do things on a whim because there is no point in trying to do something I have no motivation for when something else along the lines has my eye.

Right! Back to art for me! I finally finished the lineart to the Blood Brothers pic of the evil sides of Rolan and Omega last night, I'll CG it later because I'm not in the mood to do so right now.

I still haven't read all the manga and watched all the anime I bought at the con.

~Greetings and Welcome To My Humble Commissions Shop~

This is where all the information you need to commission me will be kept. I've got guidelines, price ranges, and most importantly LIMITS*thundercrash*. As an artist, I love to draw for others, not just for myself. However, with the level I'm at now, I believed I should start a commission shop for those of you whom want to purchase a commissioned art piece with all your heart's desires held within. And to make those desires of the heart come true is my dream as an artist So lets get the basic guidelines down for you folks.

~Status of the Artist~

~LIMITS of DOOM~

~~~Like any artist, I have standards and limits of which I do not cross. And the following is the basics:

1. I don't go past PG13 most of the time. However, if your commission is higher and I take interest, then I may accept.

2. I do YAOI and YURI for all you crazy Otaku people out there^^ You know who you are, but I have a strict PG13 limit on that.

3. I DO NOT DRAW HENTAI OR NAKEDNESS! I refuse to do something like that!

4. As far as bloody pics are concerned, so long as it isn't sick, I will most likely accept.

5. I DO NOT DO DEADLINES!!! No way! My life is way too tight for that! Plus if you rush an artist, the quality won't be as great as it could be.

6. I will only accept 3 commissions at a time, anymore will slow production.

7. I don't do realism, I've never been good at it and still struggle with it to this day. I do cartoon and anime style.

8. And finally, No Refunds. Once I begin on a piece of art, I'll be putting my time and effort into creating the masterpiece. And as they say, time is money. So be really sure of your order when you commission me.

~Steps to the Commission Mission~

1. Really decide what you want and give me all references possible, I can draw from descriptions as well, but if there is a lot of specifics, please make it clear to me so I can draw you the utmost best product.

2. Send a note with the titles Commission and give me all the details you gather in step 1! Details are my strings to move my puppets known as pencils^^

3. Once you have contacted me, please... PLEASE WAIT for me to return your message and say if I can accept it or not. This is because of my limits on what I draw in matters of maturity*see LIMITS above*.

4. If it is accepted, then I'll put you on the list and wait for payment. I MUST RECEIVE PAYMENT BEFORE I BEGIN!!! This is because I will constantly send you screenshots of my progress and I don't need art theft on the plane, they bite like snakes.

5. Once payment is accepted, I will begin the creation of your desired picture and will constantly update you on the status of your pic as I make progress through notes.

~Delivery and Shipping Information~

Once your art is complete, the pic will be secured at 300 resolution*I work at this level for maximum details* and will be sent to your e-mail to avoid theft. Then once I confirm you've received it, I will put up a smaller*72 resolution* with watermark*the big ugly DA one* on my DA page. This will be kinda like a catalog to inspire the minds of others when they commission me X3

As for traditional work, it'll be mailed to you upon completion as well as scanned to show that it is completed before I send it to the address you desire to receive it at. Signature confirmation will be required as I won't just send it through the mail otherwise or it might get lost.

REGULAR SHIPPING IS ONLY $2 USD! That's flat rate for anything sent out. Regardless of how large your order might be.
