I am in the process of moving to Boston from Toronto. I am an American so citizenship is not a problem, but it is a huge hassle regardless of citizenship or not. Finding a place to live has been the biggest problem. I have everything I own in boxes which are in storage at the moment. Spending the Holidays this way is not going to be pleasant. My computer access is through a laptop which is shared with someone else so that is also a pain in the a--. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who bought my art at the Bazaar of the Bizarre. It was great as usual. Plastic Wrap did a great job for their first time sponsoring it. It was nice to see everyone from the RSS there too. I will miss Toronto terribly. All the activity and all the people from every corner of the world. Toronto is truly a remarakable city. An international city with so many people from all over the world interacting in harmony. U.S. cities could learn a huge lesson from Toronto. OOps! I forgot we aren't supposed to interact with people from all over the world. Crossing the border was, as always, a real joy. I get the general impression the real purpose of homeland security is to hassle the average citizen as much as possible. Does anyone else get an SS feel from those people or is it just me. Anyway I am back in the land of fear mongering, though not as bad as in the Bush years. Time to adjust and find a place to live, hopefully before Christmas. I miss Toronto.

Yesterday was the autumn equinox. I will miss summer. but not yet since the weather is still really warm. There are nice things about fall, like the colors of the leaves and the way the lighting changes making the mornings and the evenings have a slight golden hue. There are also many things to do. Like going to the Bazaar of the Bizarre in Toronto. This year, the Royal Sarcophagus Society is not sponsoring the event, although they will be present. This years event is being organized by Plastik Wrap. A designer, clothing group based in Toronto. Most of the RSS members are taking part and there are also many new exhibitors brought in by Plastik Wrap. So if you like strange and Bizarre art, crafts and people come to the Bazaar on October 25th. You won't be disappointed. Yours truly will be there with my chain maile, pumpkin beads, and of course The Tree. The Bazaar will be at 6 Noble Street on October 25th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Admission is free. Check out the Royal Sarcophagus Society website for complete info and a partial list of artists. Have a great and beautiful fall.
Just this past Sunday I was at the Royal Sarcophagus Society's Bazaar of the Bizarre. Now this coming Sunday, October 26, 2008 I will be at Canzine. Canzine is described as Canada's largest Zine Fair and Festival of Alternative Culture. It will take place at The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St West just east of Dufferin in Toronto, Canada. The Fair starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. I was in this fair last year and it was a really great event. There will be visual, performance, musical and written art. Art of all types fills every nook and cranny of the Gladstone Hotel. If your in Toronto this coming Sunday do come to the Gladstone. The fair is organized by Broken Pencil Magazine and the admission price includes a years subscription to the magazine. There is something there for everyone. You won't be sorry if you go and you might be sorry if you miss it. Also thanks to everyone who dropped in to the Bazaar of the Bizarre.

Finally spring is here. Even though there are still hills of snow piled everywhere, including in front of my house. I can still at least feel that the worst is hopefully over and the hills of snow will be melting soon. Even if it is still cold and the temps are around the freezing mark. Spring is here! So I want to wish everyone a Happy Spring and Happy whatever Holiday or Festival you happen to celebrate to welcome Spring! Soon there will be flowers, sunshine and little birds singing.
