I went to see a hand specialist a while ago, said I just have tendinitis and muscle weakness in my hand, have to go to therapy or something. Can't really go so they're going to teach me stretches for my hand.

Did some traditional art the other day. Man did I miss markers. I made a big mess, going outside the lines and a lot of blotching. The people I showed it too didn't notice, so I'm kinda happy about that. Going to draw more, definitely.

Been pretty TF2 obsessed, haven't been able to play yet, still, yet. Something about my video card missing drivers. Bleh.

I've been kinda inactive, not replying to many comments and if I do haven't replied to replies. Trying to rest my hand as much as possible I guess. I'll try to be more active when I can, but I'm tired and lazy from school.

Thinking about looking into a subscription so I can do some polls and organize things better. I mean, I have an entire section of my favorites that's made up of tutorials and helpful things that I'd love to share with people. I'll have to wait untill I can save up some money. Don't have much as it is.

Already planning next Otakon, sad right? Haha, but I've got some ideas for things that I need to sketch up. This year I might finally get a table if I can make enough of what I want to sell. Most of it will be one of a kind, so that's going to be a pain to try and sell. My mom also found me a little laminating machine that I might be able to carry around with me. I'm not sure I'll have to look at it. I need to pick up some kind of wheeling bag to organize all my art junk in so it's easier to get around. Carrying three messenger bags at once is tough on the spine.

Still having wrist problems. Slept for 3 hours this morning; a little tired. Hungry, can't take pain medicine without food. Gonna have to get food. Hm, hungry. Brains? Nah.... Hand is cold, lack of blood flow? Maybe. Have a lot of work to do; can't draw. Aw.. shame. This room needs some heating, it's cold. Want to draw something so bad, can't draw, wrist hurts. Long day today, just want to sleep. Sigh. Picked up a pen last night to draw; dropped it, kinda funny. Feet are cold, shoes wet from walking so early, stupid morning dew. Double sigh. Been dieing to play Team Fortress, but lent Orange Box to a friend. Can't remember who... damn. Lot to do, too much. Just want to sleep, so tired. Was cold last night, heating was on, surprise. Was locked out for a little while, had to get someone to open house for me. Felt bad, woke them up at 3 a.m. Oppsie. Probably going to need surgery on my wrist, heard it would be simple, quick. Still dread it. Appointment for wrist still a few weeks away, will see then. Really cold, should have put on hoody today. Flimsy jacket too thin, not warm enough. Shivering, not warm enough yet, shiver more? Bleh. Still a long day head of me, don't wanna, too tired. Nap durring lunch... probably will. Got a new brace last night, comfy, too girly though. Would have prefured something black, or dark, biegh even. It's grey and pink, ick, pink. Butt of pants wet from sitting on feet, dew soaked into socks through shoes. Stupid dew. Feet cold now, gonna sit on feet again. Mmmm, warm. Want a blanket. Gonna get hoody durring lunch. Hunter hoody, rawr, zombie.

As handy as a tablet is it's nothing compaired to good old pen and paper.

Secretly I've been playing a lot of Second Life, it's fun. I've been trying to get into a RP sim on it, but I haven't RPed in such a long time that it's awkward...

I have a lot of work I need to be starting and finishing, but school comes first. :< I feel so bad for taking so loooooong. I've had someone waiting on a gaia commision for a month and a fellow student waiting on a tattoo design for a term and a half now. Bleh. I wish I could just brush everything off and work on just school work. >:[

On a side note, if anyone wants to read my random day to day ramblings I have a twitter account.

Dressed as a Hunter from Left 4 Dead, I had a lot of pictures taken of my costume.
I also took a lot of pictures as well. I met some pretty cool people and am likely going to be in one or two Youtube videos. :3 There's a slight chance my cosplay will be in the Otakon book next year and it should be on the Otakon sight. I'll be using the next few days to look through Otakon videos and pictures. Wednsday I'm going to try and search up all of the people I took business cards and info from.

I didn't have a lot of money this con so I couldn't buy a lot of things, but I got three really cool posters from the AA. I'm going to post the various artists I picked card up from somtime over the weekend.

:3 I'll be updating this journal with more info later on in the week.

Update 1:

I'm sick sick sick sick sick. I had gone to see a doctor on sunday and was told I had Tonselitis, but now I'm having coughing fits and feel like I've been hit by a truck that was hit by a plane.
I'm going back home to get a doctor to check me again.
What I'm afraid of is that my sister was diagnosed with Tonselitis a few months again and when she went back to the doctor because she got worse they told her she had swine flu. :< I don't wanna have swine flu.

Sorry I haven't been all that active I've been enjoying my break.

I didn't do a thing I wanted to do because I was too lazy, but I really needed the rest.

Earlier today I got a random call from an 'unknown' number, when I answered they hung up within seconds. A few hours later I got another call, tracked it again, from... Chicago? I asked who was calling me, but instead of telling me they asked my name. I thought they may have been trying to call someone else so I told them my first name and told them that it was a wrong number. When I tried asking who was calling they told me to call back and hung up... I refused to call back.

Just a few minutes ago I received the following text from an unknown number:

"Hi -my name- i am Marshal hope i didn't disturb u i just us to b friends i am forteen fair snd me urs if ur interested"

My name wasn't capitalize and I don't remember knowing a Marshal, if I did they wouldn't be 14. Once again from Nigeria. I refuse to text back.

I believe the text and phone call just a few minutes before are connected.

I keep getting a feeling that someone is trying to scam money out of me and when my friend remarked that phone companies will sell numbers to people, I started to get mad.

I think my phone company is trying to scam money out of me.

It's really quite simple they pay people in another country to call and text random numbers, when the people answer or reply the company charges them for the extra long distance fee. If this is true and I can prove it I smell a lawsuit coming.

With how busy I've been interruptions like this are a big strain on me. I'm stressed enough as it is and it's getting to the point where I'm ready to call the non-emergency police line and complain about phone call harassment.

My mom bought Comcast highspeed internet last weekend and I now have access to Xbox LIVE when I'm home, along with increadible internet and possibly nintendo wifi.

School work is starting to pile up, but I'm not all too worried about it.

One of my classes is asking me to create a production guide as a final project and I'm really enjoying putting it together, all I wish is that I didn't have so much other work so I could spend more on it alone.
I may post concept designs, but it all depends on if I trust DA enough. [Which I kinda don't.]

After this term I'll be getting a 3 week break for summer, hopefully I'll get a few things drawn and uploaded.

I have a new printer [just for me] but I can't figure how to connect the darn thing to my computer. It's supposed to be wireless, but I can't get it to sync with my roommate's wifi. D:

It might be a while 'til I upload anything new. DX They give so much homework.

Otakon is still a couple of months aways, but I'm already getting ready for it. I'm gonna try to make a few drawings to sell as prints [any ideas? : D], making charms, thinking up table layouts, and planning what to cosplay as. [wants to be vault dweller (Fallout 3)]

My gaia art shop has been really slow [cause I abondoned it for two months] but I'm not complaining; I don't have enough free time to tend to it anyway.

I'm attempting to draw a really nice image to make my laptop's background, but I'm having trouble organizing it the way I want to. I want to draw most of my characters, almost in a group, interacting a little. D: There's just too many of them and I've already funneled it down to my most favorite of the ones with the best organized stories. [still around 8-10 characters]

I'M MOVING IN TWO DAYS!!
Packing is just about complete.
Today I removed the 12" tv and DVD player from my room. I still need to pack my phone and a few cords, but other than that I'm ready.

I still don't have the money for my laptop and I won't get it until I start my first day of class. D : It'll probably take a month or two to get it delivered.

I'm going to be getting adobe and animation programs in a software pack from the school. Sweet. Expect some digital work, if I get the chance to upload something.

On the 8th I'm going to meet the people I'll be crashing with. I hope they're friendly... and don't bite. XD The 9th is oriantation. After that, first weekend!, then the first day of school on monday.

I had just gotten home from BobEvans and my mom asked me to let the dogs into the house. So I go to the back of the house and opened the door, as the dogs ran past me I moved back to give them room and I fell. I couldn't get myself back up and had to call my mom with my phone to get her to help me.
Oh, did I mention that when I fell, I fell into a clothes hamper and got stuck. Since my arms and legs are so short I couldn't reach anything to pull myself out. XD It was really humiliating, I felt like a turtle on its back.

Other than that nothing else exciting happened.

Me: No wait I want this one! *points to a blue cake with a Star of David on it*

Mom: We can't get that one.

Me: Aww, why not.

Mom: Because we're not Jewish.

Me: Oh yeah, how do you know?

Mom: Because I don't have any money.

: D I got an ebay account, and I'm gonna try to sell pretty, hand made, clay charms on it. I'll be making them on weekends and putting up two or three at a time. X3 I'm also making a lot of charms for Otakon since I doubt I'll get photoshop by then and with it the ablility to make high quality prints.

I also got a credit card a week ago. Everyone I've told has freaked out and told me to be careful with it, but I keep telling them the same thing. I'm only using it to get some credit. As of right now I have no intrest and I've only bought $40 worth of stuff with it. Most of the cost came from an 8 lb box of clay. XD

Third thing that I have to talk about is that I applied for a job, again. It's part of the industry that I want to work in, just not the area that I excel at. : D I'm trying out to work at Game Stop at my local mall. I need money so I can get a car; I need a car so I can drive to comunity college or another job if I'm lucky.

My current goal is to get a job as a concept artist. The closest game company (that I like) is......

Bethesda Softworks! D ; Oh how I love their games.

I really need to read the back of game cases better, 'cause it took me forever to realize that Bethesda had something to do with Bethesda, MD.
They're in Rockville, MD. and I never knew. DX

Almost 6 months ago I was accepted into one of the Art Institutes and just now they tell me that I can't qualify for any loans. If I hope to still go I have to either get a job while going to school half time or go in a later semester and try to get the money through a job before hand.

I hope to do the second choice because the closest place to get a job near the college is at a mall across a street that comes right off an interstate. Seeing as how I have no lisence or car I'd have to walk, yeah... no.

I'm Still Alive.

I have a couple of projects that I still want to do to, like:
Working on backgrounds
Working on effects in marker [fire,water,etc.]
Doing some fanart

I'm also thinking about doing a tutorial on how to color elements, like fire and water, in marker since there doesn't seem to be any on here.

One more thing, I'm looking for people that have AIM, or even better AOL, that still Roleplay or want to get back into Roleplaying.

It's been quite a while since I've known anyone that was a good ol' RPer and I'd like to start up an RP group with a couple people. The more the better as they say.

I've been playing a lot of Odin sphere recently and the art is so inspiring that I had to try playing with a similar color scheme and I have to say that I really like it.

I'm gonna try to work on some more drawings and stuff I do have a couple ideas I might do.

I still want to do a collab or two, but I'm not really able to think up many ideas, but I'll list a couple things we could do.

-Co-op character making
-Line art and coloring switching
-Traditional by one and digital added by other

My messages are swamped with journals and activity anouncements so I might take some time to reply. It might take even longer because I'm gonna try to schedual when I get on DA. When January comes around I might only log on,on wednsdays and weekends.

There were so many fun things I did at Otakon, but first we interupt this journal for a rant.

Ok now on to business, I hope I remember everything.

I went to a couple drawing workshops, though I missed

's chibi workshop on saturday because I missed the first bus

I wanted to go, But all is well.

I had lots of picuters taken and I took a lot, there was a freakaziod and candle jack th

I did a lot of pictochating I have so many funny saying and drawings now. There was a group of people that I chatted with that went on about bacon and I kept making laser jokes, but then I desided to mix them. IMA CHARGING MEH BACON!!!

There were a lot of nice deviants that I met at the artist alley. I'm gonna make a list here when I find all of the cards I got.

I forgot what cards I got from who but I'm gonna try my best to remember who was who.

That's right I actually did soming I said I was gonna do. I've started a comic.

So far I'm only up to 6 pages, but that's six more pages than I usually do.

Ok! The comic is a gaiaonline based comic, I'm not sure if it'd be considered a fan comic, because it has a storyline that I made and all of the characters are real people (my gaian friends.) I'm most likely going to put it up under fanart just for the sake of not wanting to be yelled at.

Here we go, the story is placed in the gaia world, but hidden deep beneath the barton cliffs is the door to another world. A world riddled with creature blobs called Hacktites, an unknown species that is able to hack a person's mind and make them into a living puppet. The protagonists of the story have no idea what the hacktite are or how to beat them, in fact no one can even see them.

Just a little update, I've finaly saved up enough money to get an MP3 player and it's so much better than my sister's stupid iPod. :3 SanDisk sansa, I wuv U. It's got a mic so I can record the crazy game conversations/debates I have with my friends.

I aced the test with flying colors and stars and I think a few fireworks, anyway, I got a pretty good score. The porfolio reveiw, on the other hand, shocked me. Usually art critics are pretty picky at things [ work on this, that's a little sloppy] you know. I was told that I need to work on adding more detail into my two-point perspectives, but aside from that nothing bad. Infact she pulled out the Rib Worm picture and went "wow." I was so freaken happy. As soon as we went back to the lobby, where my mom was waiting, she told my mom that the portfolio was amazing. I've never heard a critic say amazing.

But, that's not the best news. Two days after the reveiw my mom got a call from the college, I was accepted after only two day! They said it usually took at least two weeks. I'm so freaken awesome!

Don't worry, I'll be on much more once I get all my college stuff worked out. I'll make lots aof pretty drawings, and I'll open up trades and maybe a third thing.

I'm gonna try to be as active as I can, but I've got saturday school, normal school, and I'm in a play so I have after school rehersals. God, I'm gonna explode or something. Anyway, expect to see more of me and maybe a new ID since I'm getting sick of the one I have now.

Oh, I'm just gonna through this in here, I'm thinking of entering the Game informer art contest thing, but I can't choose what game to draw from. I'm thinking of one of the older/rarer games from my collection but I'm not sure.
