So, mmm. I realized that the beginning of J+H was a bit...dull.
Both for Jekyll and Hyde, DBZ fandom. I mean, sudden start, and no explanations...
Then few weeks ago I decided to draw a Prologue,where everything shall be explained for good! Hopefully our collaboration will satisfy both of the fandoms! ;D Yes, I know that Prologues use to be drawn BEFORE the beginning of the story, but my bad...

At first, I was going to color it, totally, but then I gave up.
So many things to do, and so little time...
ANYWAYS, if somebody would like to color it, I'll be glad!

****UPDATE**** So, well, I'm happy to inform you that I have completed the Prologue! It is 23 pages long, and hopefully will give you a fresh twist!
All I need to do now is to start cleaning the pages ***GWAAH!***...this will be a long travel to hell. Hold on a few more. Hopefully new pages will be online within the end of the year!!!!

Dunque ho deciso di disegnare un prologo un po' di tempo fa, con lo scopo di portare un filo di comprensione a tutti. Spero che la nostra collaborazione soddisfi entrambi i "regni" ;D
Sì, lo so che di solito si usa disegnare i prologhi PRIMA dell'inizio di una storia...ma pazienza, spero non ci siano problemi...

There is quite the contacts dilemma: I can't find a pair of red contacts, possibly not so expensive! Could it be? There are no more monthly lens?

Still searching for a simple and cheap victorian cape, more or less Mr. Hyde's like. Damn, it is so hard to find...and I don't know how to sew it. And I couldn't help to forget the fact that I missed the chance to get a nice and cheap top hat sold in a toy shop! I'm simply dumb! XD

Come prossimo cosplay, sto lavorando alla mano metallica di Vincent Valentine, e anche alla sua pistola Cerberus. Ma sono ancora indecisa. Chi dovrei preparare per prima, Tifa Lockheart, o Vincent Valentine?
C'è anche il problema delle lenti a contatto: Proprio non riesco più a trovare un paio di lenti a contatto rosse, che non costino meno di 70 euro in quanto mensili! Che non le producano più?

Recentemente, mi sono particolarmente appassionata alla ben nota figura Stevensoniana del Dottor Henry Jekyll e del suo doppio, Edward Hyde. Trovo che sia una fantastica rappresentazione della doppia natura dell'uomo (difatto, si può dire che ognuno di noi sia un po' Jekyll, un po' Hyde), a volte maligna, a volte benefattrice.
(Effettivamente per creare il personaggio di Ghiller, un po' mi sono ispirata a questo personaggio, a volte folle, a volte umano.)
Credo che più avanti dedicherò qualche lavoro a questa icona della letteratura...ovviamente, a modo mio!
Se sono appassionata di Db, in particolar modo di un personaggio, che vi tirerò fuori? XD

Voi che ne pensate, invece? Avete mai letto qualcosa o visto uno dei tanti film creati dopo la nascita di questo "fenomeno"?

Recently, I've been particulary fascinated by Robert Louis Stevenson's ultra-famous character: Dr. Henry Jekyll, and his dopplegaenger, Edward Hyde.
I think he is the perfect rendition of the human dual nature, sometimes evil, sometimes good (and 'a propos...I must say that Ghiller was a bit inspired by this character).
I'm thinking of drawing a little something about this character...
of course, with my personal touch!
I'm a DBZ fan,expecially a K fan, what will I ever give to you? XD

What do you think about Jekyll/Hyde? Do you ever read the book, or saw one of the many movies?

Un piccolo consiglio: Dato che molta gente si è lamentata per questo cambiamento, credo che dA dovrebbe fornirci la possibilità di sceglierci due diverse versioni: questa qui, quella nuova, e quella classica. Penso sia la cosa più equa da fare.

Verso le 4 di questo pomeriggio, con una intensità di grado 5 della scala Richter (un 7 della Mercalli, giusto?), si è manifestata una scossa di breve durata.
Devo dire che questo terremoto, per lo meno dove mi trovo io, si è sentito solo il tempo sufficiente da farmi alzare lo sguardo e domandarmi: "Ma che diavolo succede?!", quindi 3-4 secondi.
Avevo fatto giusto in tempo a capire che si trattasse di un terremoto, che era già terminata.

Che dire, certi eventi così inaspettati possono sia stupirti, che metterti in panico. Fortuna che nessuno si è fatto male!




This afternoon there was a quite strong Earthquake in Italy, 5th grade of Richter's scale( that is pretty much the 7th grade of Mercalli's scale, if I am right)
It was a really really short Earthquake, nothing but 3-4 seconds (at least, this is what I perceived from where I live), but then again, I was really, really speechless.

Well, what should I say...this kind of things are surely unexpected, but thanks to God nobody got hurt!

As Italian, I use to pronounce Ananke exactly like how it is written, so, in latin language, "Ananke= Ananke", when for example an english would pronounce in a different way (ex: apple become eppol, following the latin alphabet. And another example, Krillin would became something like Krellen ). Same thing for Ghiller.
I read that The English pronounciation for Ananke is /əˈnæŋkiː/ but I can't "translate" in the vocal key.
I don't expect your help for find the two vocal key pron.s, but since I am curious, I ask you:
How do you pronounce those two names, in your language?

Anche se è un paradosso, io che sono l'autrice di questi due personaggi, non so come pronunciare i loro nomi: Ananke e Ghiller.
Sono entrambi nomi stranieri, e io sono solita chiamarli proprio come sono scritti. Mi piacerebbe sapere se qualcuno può dirmi la pronuncia in lingua straniera scrivendola come se dovesse scriverla a parole
(es: Apple lo scriverò Eppol...Krillin credo verrebbe qualcosa tipo Krellen, dato che è una pronuncia molto strana...).

"Sweet" è il nome del doujinshi più famoso di Wataru Yasunaga (Autrice di Mini2, Lunch Box, ecc.)che ho comprato su ebay un po' di giorni fa. So che è uno dei pochi doujinshi Kuririn X 18gou ( questa coppia non è molto disegnata? Ma perchè???!***Sigh*** E dire che trovare il volume di Dragonball H è stato addirittura più facile che trovare questo qui, che ha un rating PG invece di NC17!- Dio, che oscenità XD). Sul mio pc ho salvate 3 immagini di questo fumetto, e vorrei sapere se qualcuno lo conosce e/o ha immagini al riguardo. I disegni sono molto belli, l'autrice ha uno stile molto particolare.

Gente, ho appena finito di vedermi 300, e non ho potuto resistere: voglio sapere il vostro parere su questo film.
Il mio è: UN CAPOLAVORO! Uno spettacolo per gli occhi e una storia stupenda, basata su un fatto storico realmente accaduto.

Penso che questo film meriti almeno un Oscar, specie per i suoi effetti speciali.

E voi, che ne pensate?

Kira

Even if Ananke looks like Krillin, i don't think that Sonny Strait would fit on his character (obviously, Strait remains a talented voice actor, indeed!)
And Also, Krillin transformed should change his voice in some way, or not? Noticed it listening to Sean Schemmel (spelled right??) in DBGT, when he dubs Goku Ssj4.

Any Ideas?

Posso dire la mia dicendo che per Ghiller vedo benissimo Claudio Moneta, noto doppiatore dal tono riflessivo e flemmatico, che ha doppiato i più svariati personaggi: Da Spongebob, a Zarbon, in Dragonball.

Krillin: 1.57 metres. Well,Italian says that the small barrel contains the best wine,no?
