I won't go into it here, but just understand I'm feeling more than a little misunderstood and like I'm misunderstanding everyone, so I'm a little edgy.

I hope you all have been enjoying my latest deviations! I've been branching out a bit again, especially since I now have a beautiful back yard full of awesome stuff to take pictures of. Hopefully it'll stop raining long enough for me to get pictures of the bumblebees that are pollinating the tree in the back yard. And there's this GORGEOUS vine with deep purple flowers that look almost black that I wanna get shots of!

Rain, rain, go away.....

Seriously though, the spring-like weather has been really nice. I just wish the hail hadn't shredded my squash plants. My yellow crookneck squash is already having trouble getting very big because of the lack of sunlight. I need to move it to the patio, away from the tree.

And if that weren't bad enough, I have SNAILS. Not just your ordinary snail problem, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They've had the yard to themselves for 3 WHOLE YEARS. After the storms, I can't go on the deck without stepping on them!!!!!! I've had to sweep snail pellets down between the cracks in the deck so it gets down where they're breeding in the rotting material from the tree, and I still haven't been able to get the rest of the yard sprinkled thanks to the rain.

Keep your eyes open! As soon as the sun comes out, I'll have more pictures!

The rules are simple: Design me a Lolita dress Costume for Sailor Centauri.

1: You must integrate the colors turquoise and magenta. (HTML Colors #00ffff and #ff00ff)
2: It must have some sort of hair decoration (Ribbons, headband, barrettes, hat, etc)
3: It must have a front AND back view.
4: It must cover my shoulders and come to my knees.
5: BE CREATIVE!!!!!!

Winner: Your design gets made and worn by me at an upcoming convention (Probably Animé Banzai 09). Also, you will receive your choice of one of the following:

I'm going crazy, I swear. Still need to get the money to since she's doing my wedding photography. I have it now, dear, so we just need to get together. If nothing else, I'll get it to you at the shower Saturday.

Still need to put the final touches on my cloak, do laundry, pack for the honeymoon, alter my gown so I can tie it up after the ceremony to make it manageable for the reception, finish my bouquet (I need a SAW to cut all these stems :sweat: ), finish sorting boxes and cleaning the house so Jason can move in, get rid of my bed and get the queen in here.......

I decided, instead of wearing a veil, I'm wearing a hooded cloak. I'm making it in crepe-backed satin instead of the velvet shown. Luckily, a good, sharp, titanium needle goes a LONG way to keeping the runs away while I'm working.

Anyway, Stage 1 was cutting the entire pattern out in Burgundy and White, stage 2 was putting the Burgundy cloak together. The pattern requires the neck of the cloak be gathered. Talk about a NIGHTMARE. I hand-pleated it for the best look. Now, i'll have to get the white to match..... -_-;;;

Stage 3, obviously, is putting together the white cloak, and then stage 4 is sewing it all together so it's 100% reversable.... That's gonna be the YIKES part. Lots of ironing and pinning, and the bobbin gets to be the color opposite the main thread....

Pray for me...

Especially you since I'll loan it to you for stocks after the wedding. It's HUGE! Very elegant.

He seemed surprised that I was so understanding. I was numb for awhile after my marriage failed. I know that it takes time to heal. I'm willing to give him all the time he needs. I haven't found anyone that I fit with so well in too many years, and I've never had anyone in my life like him before. It's a chance I'm willing to wait for. We're friends first and foremost, and as a friend, his comfort and happiness is more important to me than life. This is true of all my friends.

This may seem selfless, but, in reality, it's very selfish. My friends being unhappy makes me worry, and that makes me ill. I dun wanna be sick with worry, so I do everything I can to ensure their happiness.

I'll admit, a part of me wants to say "no....You can't go away just like that. Can't you heal in my arms?" (Take that all of you who say I'm selfless!) Part of me just wants to hold him and tell him that he will heal, and that there's nothing to worry about. But, part of me, the part that knows what he's going through, steps in and says "That's not healthy. You can't heal his heart. Time has to."

That doesn't seem to stop me from wanting to, though...

But, I will wait because I'm a fairly patient woman. Who knows, maybe in a couple weeks, things will be back. Until then, you have my heart, My Laird. Please be careful with it and return it to me when you're ready, or perhaps trade me yours awhile.

God? Why me? Can they SMELL a divorcée or something?

Okay, enough on that rant for now.

Okay, so....hmmmmmm Alot of things have been posted on LJ among my friends that involve me, and I kinda feel the need to respond. I feel like alot of people are going to blame me for what's happening....AGAIN.... I guess it's best to say, this is NOT my fault. I'm a kind person, and desperate for human interaction, as I don't work or anything like that, and I'm trying to change my friend base to friends closer to my own age. I suppose that leads me to hang out with whoever wants to hang out without much concern for their feelings or thought that hanging out might be leading them on. It's been a rough couple months, so I've been desperate for friendship.

I also need to get out of my house and be around people. I've decided to start dating again, but, apparently, society labels you a skank or a whore if you don't want a boyfriend, but would rather go on casual dates with friends. Therefore, no one wants to date a skanky whore, and so no one wants to take me out. I know there are people out there who call me that. And I know who they are. That's why I don't generally keep their company.

Anyway, I clung to someone who didn't care, for whatever his reasons, that I wanted to get out of my house with friends, and who took me out, away from these four walls and computers that define in my existence. Unfortunately, the one thing I was hoping wouldn't happen, did. He became emotionally involved.

I've been plagued from the time I started dating with being the girl you seek a permanent, or even long term relationship. I'm nothing if not fiercely loyal (I proved disloyal once....never again), I'm kind, caring, affectionate, romantic, and deep. I'm both independent and needy. I'm the girl you take home to mom.... And that has been my plague since I can remember. I've heard "Will you marry me" more often than "Will you go out with me" or any of it's akin phrases (My favorite has to be "Can I Keep You?"). If I can find companionship at all, it's usually in search of something long term and stable. Do I really scream stability to people? It it because you always know where you stand with me, because I'm honest? Is it because I can handle myself, but know when to let the guy I'm with pamper me? I don't get it!!!!! I'm emotionally and physically unstable. I can be good for a few days or a few months, but then, suddenly, I get sick for a similarly random amount of time. I'm not stable....

Anyway, I have an early morning, so I better crash.

I'll be scanning them in and coloring them as I have time. Some of them are disproportionate, and some look really good. It all depended on my mood, my time, and my hands.

Sexy Men, Great Script, Better acting, John Wu Fight Scenes, and Vampires. Who could ask for more in a foreign film?!! It has my two favorite J-Rockers, Guns, Vampires, and 15-year jumps. Super cool! Well, I highly reccommend it if you can find it. It's availiable on DVD subtitled from TLA Releases. Go see it!
