Actors, for the most part, sacrifice their own being while performing to get inside the head of the character they're playing. Any and all of their 'real' problems suddenly vanish into the sidelines -if only momentarily- as they take on another persona and accept this as factual. Acting isn't just pretending to be something... acting is fooling yourself into believing it to be true. Once this ability and feeling is harnessed and tamed to be able to be turned on or off with the flick of a switch, a true actor a person becomes.

But this doesn't just apply to actors.

Every person, at once time or another, has stepped into somebody else's shoes and experienced such a transformation. For you fanfiction writers, you can relate when I say that the reason you write fanfiction centralizes around this core feeling of becoming something you enjoy. Namely... characters, settings and themes from other stories (movies, comics, books and all other media included). For most people, it happens every time you watch a movie. _{A good one, anyway.} For a little while, you toss yourself into the air and allow another person to seep into you. Not just one, even - multiple persons. Multiple places. Aspects that become complex to explain. And this is something not only normal, but essential to human happiness.

Without such pretending (noted by Freud as the id's 'death instinct'), harsh facts of reality are all that's left to be absorbed, and reality is... well, let's face it: it stinks. It's boring, often annoying, and even depressing. If you look at things with no sense of false character, it might even be possible for you to lose what you once believed yourself to be - and that gives way to asking the cliche question, "What is the meaning of life?" Works of art such as movies and books become irrelevant, and focus on tasks begins to dwindle as that's all there is to focus on with no breaks except for thought of such things. Variety becomes so scarce that one may become so desperate to find it that they end up sacrificing whatever minimal goals they'd set for themselves in the meantime (IE: completing school, winning a contest, etc). Today marks the beginning of Crane Fly Season. They only come out in droves for a while every year (not more than a month, I believe, and probably much less), and it's during this time that we constantly have to save them from family pets and bathrooms and windows and put them back outside where they belong. They come in solos or pairs, just like Love Bugs (Love Bug Season is later in the year, as does June Bug Season), and love to hang out in tall grass or clover - aside from everywhere else, I mean.

How does today mark it? Simply, I found a Crane Fly in the bathroom, and took it outside - where another one was perched on the wall by the door. And I haven't seen any this year until now.

[link] A visual, in case you call them something else. Mosquito Hawk is a common name. Though they look like giant mosquitoes, don't let that fool you; they're completely harmless, and are in fact incredibly clumsy. They also lose their legs easily, so if you're handling one, be extremely gentle - holding it in a lightly closed hand is the best way, or putting it in a jar. If you're extremely talented with small things, you might be able to pick it up by its wings or thorax without damaging it.

I digress.

As tradition... though I missed it last year, and that's a cryin' shame... there's always Crane Fly Day! A day without a designated date, it's the day when they seem to be absolutely everywhere and you can't take a step without stirring up a few. What happens on CFD, you ask? Why... we (I) go out and catch as many as possible, of course!

A large container -usually clear plastic- is used, and however many are in the container at the end of... however long... is how points are scored. They must be alive and mobile to count; dead or seriously injured ones means bad handling. A pair can be double points, but is commonly worth the same as two.

And, of course, to count them, they are released one by one to return to the weeds and walls from whence they came.

How to begin this journal... huh. Well, do you ever wonder how insane killers can murder people and not be moved by the tears of their victims' families? It's not because they don't care... no, not at all. That's just normal killers. Insane killers will sit back and look at their work... and feel nothing. Oh, they understand it's wrong. They probably know that they should feel pretty damn bad for it, and probably don't feel very gratified at all. But they just sit there, mulling over everything... nothing... and just can't find anything about what they've done that touches something deep within them - even when they know it should, and even want it to.

Why do they do it? Anger is one reason; that's a given. But there is another reason, I speculate, that allows them to take a human life and not feel much of anything: thoughts.

"What am I? What is life? What is the Higher Power, and how did it/He create the universe? Will I know when I die? Should I die? Is age a disease that punishes the sinful human soul with a limited time on Earth? What if this is just a test? ...Why do I not feel? Where has my emotion gone, and why can I not cry? Why was my salvation ripped from my hands at my own undoing that I cannot fix? What of this person? Was he like me? Was she like me? Did they think like I do, have the same problems as I? ...I was an artist. And my inspiration, along with everything else, was destroyed. I am no more. If I'm even alive, I'm dead. There is no soul in the pit of my heart. What have I to salvage? I sleepwalk... even killing a person, against all of what I consider right, hasn't shaken a tear from my eye. A shame. Livland's progress is... slow. In fact, too slow. But I've got school and stuff to worry about, and my grades have been less than good. I do have slightly good news, however: I've got some character designs that I'm working on. I... might or might not post them. It depends on how good they turn out.

And a gecko. Geckos are awesome. I want a pet gecko. Go buy me a pet gecko. (No, not seriously; I'll buy one when I go to college.

...Didn't get to go to church today. *Sigh* Again. Because Dad's just so busy with work, and of course that's more important than taking an hour and a half to go to church once a week.

The Rule

For you girls who don't already know, hear me out: never, ever, ever get online while you're PMSing. In fact, hole yourself up in your room. Board the windows. Sandwich-wrap your hands and feet, and then get a brave soul to knock you unconscious and then lock the door as they leave.

Anything less, and you risk something like the horror that was last night's drama unfolding. And I use it in neither derogative nor passive terms; drama is drama. I don't like it, but it happened. I'm not annoyed by it, either - a better word is depressed.

A ~~beautiful~~ awe-striking combination of magnified feelings and thoughts, miscommunication, loyalty, and balance between truth and lies is the cause of it. And the people involved reading this... if they are... I'd like to think so, but after what happened, I doubt it... are probably shaking their head even now at what wrongs I've committed.

Truthfully, in the beginning, I didn't feel I was doing anything wrong. And I'm still a bit in the dark about that. I was speaking to one friend about how another's interruptions sometimes became annoying (a bit more sane, now, I can say that's what I meant, at least)... nearly forgetting that everybody's interruptions get annoying when you're trying to converse with somebody else. But hey, this is the internet. I just have a hard time multitasking. However, when I'm seriously getting into something, as my mother will be able to tell you all too well, I easily get pissed off at anybody who somehow distracts me.

My best friend distracted me while I was, for the first time in a while, seriously starting to feel happy just being able to talk with somebody very special again. That in itself -my talking with him and being happy- has its own sick flaws, but I won't delve into that. ...She didn't know. And I don't like to flat-out tell people "Okay, um, I'm going to go do something important now, so nobody bother me." Why? I suppose it takes away from the free spontaneity of it all. I always wish people could read my mind. People can't, of course... and I understand that. As usual, Dad went to pick up Kevin (my 9-year-old brother) from school, and stopped by Sonic on the way home. He brought us both a chicken dinner. It's really a usual routine. Kevin and myself sat and watched Drake and Josh as Dad stepped outside. Upon taking a bite of chicken...

Me: "'What is that?'"

Kevin: "What?"

Me: "...'It's priest. Have a little priest.' 'Is it really good?' 'Sir, it's too good, at least!'"

I just couldn't resist.

Journal Features

Well, I've never really done this before... not like this... so I figure, why not? I love many pieces of work that I fave (and admittedly go back and re-fave for the sake of keeping some close to my recent favorites, and just for the heck of it), and, well... I'd like to share why I love a particular few. I didn't dig too far into my faves, and it pained me to stop so short, but I'd be here all day and all night and probably all week if I fished out every piece I'd like to display here. I'll do this again sometime to make up for it.

Anywho, here are works that are sure to please and strike awe, and the very talented and mostly good-willed artists responsible. Insanely popular front-page peeps excluded because everybody already loves them. =Endling, *bleedman, etc, etc...

My New Year's resolution? To somehow stop thinking so much. To be happy and carefree more often. To learn how to get into and enjoy things again instead of being detached and only halfway alive.

Maybe I'll get therapy in 2008, lawl. :0

And, of course, to perhaps finally begin work on the long-awaited Livland project. And by begin, I mean finish Phase II and start drawing the damn thing.

(Why do you suppose we have fireworks on New Year's? I mean, fireworks for Independence Day make sense, because they signify the bombs going off, but... on New Year's? Really, I don't get it. So many unanswered questions of humanity's unorthodox traditions. But hey... just wouldn't be New Year's without fireworks, somehow. Heheh.)

2007 was an odd one, it was... filled no less with life than any other year before it, and no better or worse... simply a year not unlike any other, and only the latest in a long line of years. Society has fallen further into the 'hopeless mob of idiots' pit... I was banned from dA... found a best friend, found love, lost love, lost a best friend (so it seems)... got a lot of work done on Livland but then suddenly killed everything for mental illness...

A year of contradictions, indecisiveness, and hormonal imbalances. That was mine. And my evening was spent alone, in my room, watching fireworks just across the pond from my window with all of my lights off. It really was better than expected; I usually don't see fireworks out here. Thank goodness for the neighbors who broke the law (it's illegal to shoot off fireworks in the city limits of where I live). Made me quite happy.

Only thing that could've made it better... is only in my dreams.

2007: shot down in its prime, ending with a whuff instead of a bang.

Dead fish...?

I've been dreaming while asleep as of late for whatever reason. And I keep coming back to dead fish. Huuuge dead fish. Stacked high around everywhere, outside, inside, disgusting and rotting... sizes anywhere from as big as a car if not bigger to about two feet.

What the fuck, right?

Nah.

You see, I hate dead fish. A whole lot. A really, really, really whole lot. Dead animals in general, but dead fish... uck. One of the few things that grosses me out beyond belief. No; I won't touch one, I won't smell one, and for goodness sake, I won't eat one.

Lately, I've been working on psychoanalytical theories. What I am and the truth about me is a shining ball of light (my soul), and everything else is pretty much layers of cloth wrapped tightly over it, concealing the light it creates. To use a metaphor, anywho. What I really am is getting harder and harder to reach, lately, especially with each unfounded and stupid and useless worry.

It reflects into my dreams as dead fish. I hate dead fish; I hate worries. Worries are concealing me from myself; dead fish are concealing the environment around me in my dreams.

The dead fish in my dreams make it nearly impossible to get much of anything accomplished - at least not without having to trudge through the slime and muck of giant, rotting fish corpses to get it done. Just as the worries make it impossible for me to create and be happy internally, and I can only do this externally by ignoring them and forcing myself to grin and bear it. Which, needless to say, isn't efficient and is pretty much worse than just doing nothing, because trying to do ANYTHING amidst piles and piles of dead fish... isn't going to turn out well at all.

Just one more day until that time, fellow deviants... and then we've the 2008th anniversary of Christ's birth. (Why isn't New Years the same day as Christmas? Seriously, guys, think about it. Makes no sense.)

Now, a lot has happened since last year... many different emotions have circled throughout our heads, and a few of us have gone through life-changing events... and we've made new friends and let go of some old and learned some more of life's lessons... and goodness knows some of us have had to make horribly tough decisions. And still others have layered masks on top of their true being, even to the point that they don't realize it any longer, and have lost themselves to an act, however temporarily...

But good, bad or worse, through the best of times and the worst of times, the people that matter most have stuck by our side because they know that things will get better when we're unhappy. And however many mistakes we make, we'll always have somebody that cares about us... whether we want to accept them at the moment or not.

Christmas is coming, so take this time to hold close to those you love, be they friends, family, or that random janitor in the hallway that always smiles at you. You don't have to show them you care with gifts (An excuse for procrastinators? Yes.), but with simple words such as these... and explain to them tomorrow morn that they do mean a lot to you, as it might be just what they've needed to hear for a while.

And be nice to the n00bs, too.

I'm flooded. Somebody, if you will... please... set me free...

Don't you just hate it when this happens? You get thoughts stuck in your head and they're pressing against your skull, wishing to spill over... to be released... but they can't be. Especially when your primary source of release has branded the thoughts taboo.

And then the full force of the brain's psychological fury makes itself known. Confusion, displacement, ignorance, denial, frustration, anger, sorrow, depression, repression, regression, redirection... mmm...

Looking to and comparing facts is a simple way of trying to be satisfied, but when all your sources are reading differently and you've nothing to combine and sort truth from falsehood... fact from fiction... and your mind is in desperate need of a single source of ultimate opinion... facts, it seems, fall short. Contradictions and what ifs begin to become painful. Physically painful...

History, science, religion and theory are all flawed and can't be pieced together. And when one attempts it, the above results.

I wish to see where everything was once connected. The science of history as theorized on the basis of religion. I wish to know the biggest answers. God created the universe. But what then? How did humanity evolve? And how much of our knowledge -our history and religion- is fiction, and how much is real?

We humans are like robots when we open ourselves to new ideas. When two things contradict each other, we become overloaded.

Or I'm just sixteen. I could use that as an explanation for everything. Thus writing this off as.... ignoring ignorance.... hm.

Imagine a world many years ago, when poets wrote poetry and novels were young and exciting... when new ideas flowed like water, pressing ever further down the stream, thriving in their prime of life, eventually dumping out into an ocean of collaborations. Each branch of art a stream, each genre a tributary, and each idea a precious molecule. And the streams flowed constantly, and humanity drank from the mouth... ever pleased at the new supply of freshness to enjoy.
Many years ago, this was not a problem for the world; the water was endless; the streams constant; the supply never run short. And all of these ideas were glorified in creation, as each poet wrote a poem, and each novelist wrote a novel, painters painted, singers sang... and with each new invention came a new line of these creations to picture it and immortalize it to us.
More importantly, each and every magnificent creation was worked on tediously, and only the best still remain in our hearts and minds.
Press forward to the middle and even late 20th century, and you'll find that our speed had increased to a potentially harmful level. New ideas sprang forth like grass. The streams ran ever faster. We humans were always shocked and amazed at such wonderful and fantastic things.
But I digress. This isn't as general as it seems to be. Let's go back to the early days of animation, when Walt Disney himself was still alive and working.
Each cartoon he made was worked on for quite a while. He even had to work in secrecy for a long time on a certain project... but I'll leave you to do the research as I've done. Back in those days, there was no way around creating each frame by hand. And the scripts... oh, the scripts... polished and perfected and fine-tuned to the greatest perfection so that the final product would be just as great. The pace was set slow and peaceful, allowing us to note each and every detail... always about the art-- nay! Insanity creeps in while, during, before and after such feelings, and even still, you blame yourself for all that seemed to and did go wrong.

Love was nuts.

And it was the most beautiful thing I've ever known in my entire life.
Blueberry or brownie, worry or flutter, it was more trouble than anything else. But the prize, as I've said, was worth the price. Though I paid a lot and came out with a ripped package. Refund, plz?

When all is said and done, you can't believe that sending a ripple through two hearts of stone can change them forever. Mine tilted on its axis, but is quite unaltered. His may have leaned, or possibly shuttered, but is still in its place.

This is what you get when two people who have no idea what love is fall for each other, and then one takes it upon herself to cling to the bird as it fights to flap away.

Those who exposed the weakest points in one another...

And so now, allow me to continue in my own confusion. That same confusion that has driven him away, probably. The same confusion that hinders me and hurts those around me and shall keep me from ever holding tight to anything, or so attempting to ever again.

This is a journal, is it not? Something more or less to document events and thoughts, opposed to a shout board (which is a shout board) to display events and reminders.

Two times, today, in very different yet very similar fashion, I was reduced to silent tears. Both at the hands of raw emotion needing to be released in a physical form. And both, it seems, with some form of love.

Love and happiness be the first. Love and sorrow be the next. What kind of love, you ask? ...This is where it becomes confusing. The first love was a contradicting love, delving into the cliche of "he likes me, oh, he likes me!", while the second, just as strong, was that of a pure and perfect friendship that need not be tainted by blinded eyes that betrayed the first.

The happiness of the first was due to its form of love. Oh, he likes me... he said so, I just know it. Sheer pleasure it be, joy, marvel, dazed in a state of disbelief, and again, blinding - more for worse than not. The happiness of this love felt radiant as the sun, but took away from the personality that was so important. It was bliss that set my eyes to leak. But then... they dried...

And not until many an hour later did the second incident arise - an irony to the first, poking at me, laughing at me, mocking my so blinded gaze in a cruel fashion that also forced tears from my sockets. The personality hadn't faltered an inch, but the mood that went with it dissipated as time went on... as event by event battered away at it, hammering it into one of utter displeasure. And there was I, helpless at its side, longing for the mood to swing to the opposite side and unearth what was quickly buried: happiness.

I wished more than ever to not be bad with words... to not simply state in a humdrum manner, "It will get better."... to create something -anything!- that could reach into the soul and pull forth the anger to cast aside like such an unwanted piece of garbage... tainting that which is pleasurable... tainting another's bliss. And it hurts. The pain singes my fingers and forces them to write; I've little left to do now that my inspiration... my love... has gone. Nay, but was swept away by his own will against his own, unhappy just as I. But such feelings cause me to move slowly... and ever slower still.

Well, sigh. My moods have conflicted one another once again. I've fallen ill to a lovely mental disease. Perhaps too deep, perhaps too creative? Or is creativity being hindered by this as well? I'm certainly making progress. What kind of progress? Hm. Hmmmmm. Mhm... hmmm....

I don't know. I'm terrified to bring this sort of stuff up (PUN!), you know? I've exposed myself to elements that, before now, were in extremely short supply. Mental drugs, if you will. The ability to keep and control my deep mood, and the urge to protect and defend it at all costs.

The people.. or person, rather... I choose to surround myself with... is whatever I choose him to be in my head. And his intellectual tone might come across as equally deep as I when I'm in such a state.

My love is at a dangerous high point in this state. But where was I? Progress, riiight. It's odd progress, and it's under an odd influence. One I won't talk about. My friends have heard. NO, I AM NOT LITERALLY DOING DRUGS, YOU IDIOTS. The only drugs I need I was born with, thankyouverymuch. ....Dammit, that could make for worse jokes. Okayokay, uh... the only drug I need is my brain. YES. ..No, wait, now it sounds like I pry my brain out of my ears and snuff it. ....Crap.

Anyway. This continuous feeling of being trapped in deep emotions of love, sorrow and lust is keeping me from my grades and responsibilities. I should be reading The Scarlet Letter right now instead of writing a journal. And yet... I should have been doing that in English. And I should have worked in my other classes, as well. The only one I put anything into today was choir, because the songs fall under my list of "these are okay to listen to to keep the mood going" songs. I'm loving Phil Collins right now. His stuff is perfect.

As all of you know, I was banned. Everybody who watched me before hand got a note as to why. Everybody who watched me after did not. So if you watched me after I was banned or just didn't read the note (YOU ASSHOLE!!), I'm sorry to say you won't be able to leech much information off of me. To sum it up: Stuff happened on dAmn that got me dAmnbanned, I ban evaded from there, and that got me in trouble with $chix0r. If you really want to know details, ask one of my previous watchers. =CHICAGO-lollie is a good one to go to.

Well, not many of you know why or how exactly I was unbanned. I'll tell you now. Many notes to the Help Desk and generally obeying the rules of having been banned (not making new accounts, etc), and then giving my word to chix0r that such misconduct that got me banned wouldn't happen again resulted in this much. As for if I can chat again... not currently, but perhaps in the future.

I first saw the episodes tonight. Well, not all of them. I stopped at 4. Why? I couldn't take it... I couldn't take it any more!! DX It's like... if somebody was trying to torture me and asked me what I'd rather be strapped to a chair to and forced to watch, Fruity Basket or Dora the Explorer, I'd say "FUCK YEAH THE SECOND ONE PLZ". It.... it hurt my eyes. It hurt my ears. It fucked with my brain and made me babble. IT. MADE. ME. BABBLE. My gosh.

Tohru is a bitch. Not the usual "OMG she's so mean what a bitch" bitch... but.... you know, she's invented a new kind of bitchdom. Wow. Her and that girl that turns into a boar. JUST.... JUST DIE, TOHRU. DIE A PAINFUL DEATH. When Kyo told her off, I was crying tears of joy. And then she started feeling sorry for herself and I wanted to spit at the screen again.

Kyo's personality is way too exaggerated. THE WHOLE FUCKING ANIME IS TOO EXAGGERATED. It's not funny. It's not cute. It's not even fucking entertaining. It just SUCKS. ASS. A WHOLE LOT. Just watching those four episodes literally dropped my IQ and increased my Faggotory Level 100 points. Just those one and 3/4 hours did that. I swear. Journals messed up?
Well, you see, my last journal made me less than happy. It made everything bold and I had to try to fix that (WAS NOT my mistake), and then the CSS magically disappeared, along with the header and footer. Wasn't that nice. To top it all off, when I went to add the CSS back in, all of my "websites joined" found their way to being in the center instead of left. WTF. Yeah, that's no fun. If this journal fucks up too, IDC, I'm just leaving it. I didn't mess with anything for it to do bad stuff. *Clicks preview* ....Yep. T__T Well, enjoy everything being fucked up. RED LOBSTER SUCKS. At least the one I went to (STILL IN MY HOMETOWN) did. The food made me nauseous and gave my mom chills and hot flashes. Glad that's over. The hotel food was like medicine. :3 Really good medicine that happened to be delicious and the best food I've ever eaten. In fact, right about now, I'm wanting some more. Maybe... chocolate cake? Going on vacation! WOO!!
It's true. It's so true. I, Jessica, will be going on vacation sort of not really. Shocking, I know. Today at noon, my mom will come pick up me and my brother and drag us along to Moody Gardens. And we're staying there... at least until Wednesday, but probably Thursday will be when we get back. Not sure which.

Pros/cons? Well, I'm going somewhere. That's good. I'm going somewhere cool. That's good. I'm going to have fun, probably. That's good. I'm going with half of my family. That's.. okay. I'm going with my mom and brother instead of friends. That's.. eh... I'm going to have to deal with them for a full two, possibly three days. That's... bad. But it's better than never going anywhere at all ever. Also, I'm still in state. ;__; But that's because Mom can't take me much farther due to the divorce rules and blah blah blah and that.

Full feelings.
First of all, there's something everybody needs to hear: the song "Here In Your Arms" by HelloGoodbye. Google it, YouTube it... do something to find it. iTunes has it. Now take that song... listen to it a few hundred times in the middle of the night while looking at a picture of somebody you love....... and you'll start realizing what I'm feeling.

I want to cry for their problems. I want to giggle about their cuteness. I want to be there with them. I'm so in love... so very much in love. Hearing this song play over and over in my mind, never getting old, never getting boring... it amplifies the feeling so much that it's nearly unbearable. I'm writing this because I don't know what else to do before I turn in for the evening.

If only you knew what I was feeling right now... if only you could relate. I want to be so close to them... at least one..... I want just to put my arms around him........ right now.

I'm working on coloring my first picture. I say first because I fully intend for there to be more than one - I have at least five planned out. Let's just see how many of them I finish.

G...Guest judge? WTF?
Okay, if you don't know what I'm talking about, head over to *Evil-Jevil's page. This is about Rumble in the Summer Round 1.

The third judge didn't get his votes in, so Jevil found a "guest judge". I can accept that, but... this "guest judge" also happens to be COMPETING. That's bias right there. And he voted for himself. WHAT. THE. FUCK. I mean yeah, you'd basically have to vote for yourself in that situation... but why did Jevil even choose a competitor as a judge in the first place?! Honestly, this is just a load of bull. And yeah, I'm mad. I wouldn't be so mad if the original judge had voted against me, either. I'm just mad it was a guest judge. :/

Hooked, and hooking.
When Heather last visited, of course I made her watch the first episode of Ouran. Then, the other day, she comes to Digress and says to me, "Link me those episodes." Paraphrase, bah. But oh, that made me so happy! Here, link for you. Yes. I've gotten Heather into Ouran. Now she can understand why I love it so much! Then, of course, I gave Infusions the link. "JUST WATCH THE FIRST ONE! PLEEEASE!" And she did. I assume she watched more than that, because she went idle for a while and then came back and blurted, "I LIKE BLONDIE AND HE/SHE." Tamaki and Haruhi, der. And Heather, gosh, she's past episode 5 already. OURAN IS CONTAGIOUS. I swear. I avoid anime as much as I can because it's all boring, all the same, all annoying. But giving Ouran a shot was SO worth it. If you're skeptical about anime, this is the PERFECT first one (or only one) for you. It's not boring, it's hilarious, it has an unorthodox plot, unique characters, TWINS (), and best of all... it's all adapted from a manga (I finally figured out "anime" and "manga" are code for "cartoon" and "comic") series that I assume kicks just as much ass.

Japanese VS Spanish!
I wanted to take Japanese my 3rd year, but nooo. Dad can't afford driving me after school to the class or letting me be driven there by a friend. Because I'm not learning how to drive just yet. So now I have to take SPANISH. >:C I'm just mad about it, especially since I'm into Ouran now. Spanish can kiss my ass (no offense, anybody). Wow, man. I just finished watching all 26 episodes last night, and just... wow. I was in tears when things were all going wrong and horrible. I was never really into the whole "they're all going to inherit big companies" and such deals and all, but it really became an important deal near the end. Especially at the end. Meh... no matter. It was a very cute series. I loved it to death. But I really liked the first episodes much better than the latter ones. They had a certain sparkle that the latter ones lacked: easygoing humor. I really enjoyed watching the series bloom into a full drama, and I still loved it... but it was just so intense. I wanted to be able to burst out laughing and have my brother bang on the wall and yell at me to be quiet. But, hey. Lovers can't be choosers.

Too short?
It should have been two seasons. Everybody knows the first season is the introduction and the second season is when it should drop the funny and get serious. ;__; And I know, I know. It was based off of the mangas. XD I can just think of so much more that could have been done with it.

I'M TRYING!! I'M TRYING!! Anime is a whole new realm to me and it's fucking hard to draw the first time! I'm getting really frustrated! *Works harder*

Yep. Back over at my house around 11:30 or so. She gets to see what Cuddles (may doggy) looks like SHAVED. It's so disturbing the first time you see it. She looks like she's malnourished or something, because her poofy fur usually makes her look fat. XD Her legs are about 1/4 the size they were when she was furry. But it's really adorable once you get used to it. X333

Just wow. I pulled an all-nighter for that Homestar art and went to bed around... hm. What, 8 AM? Something like that. I just woke up, 2:00 PM, and the dreams I had! Absolute insanity. Great ideas for a funny comic, though. I made it to Heaven, I knew that, but I went to Hell first to see all of my friends and stuff. XD Charlotte was cool about it.

Charlotte: HAHA, YOU'RE HERE TOO! All that stuff about God wasn't good enough, huh?

Me: XD No, I'm up there. I just wanted to check out down here.

Charlotte: Oh. I knew that. Well, have fun!

So then I wanted to go up to Heaven to see how boring it was, and there's this huge-ass blue metal staircase around the room... yeah, it was a room. Like a giant version of my school's PAC Lobby, not really any fire or lava, but glowing orange/red. Satan had a desk in the middle, lawl. I'm going to draw that in a second. But anyway, I start up this staircase, and earlier there was this short angel guy who came down and relayed a message. And he was supposed to be back for me or something. And I was just like, "I know we have all eternity, here, but WHAT IS TAKING HIM SO LONG?!!" But I kept on walking and thinking.

Me (thinking): I always said that if I died, I would be bothered by the fact that I didn't finish all of my projects on Earth... but I really hope God lets me write a letter to my family about closure and not crying at my funeral, and hide it in that giant stack of papers on the floor of my room.

Yep. Funniest part, I think, was how Satan and I were sort of chums before I left. I just sort of talked with him, strolled over and sat on his desk...

Me: So... you're not going to torture my soul?

Satan: Nah. It was a good hobby for the first couple of millenniums, but now it seems so... you know. Boring! ...I seriously need a vacation.

Me: Aww...

Yeah, Satan was cool, too. Which is funny, because psychologically, that part of the dream probably means Hell, for me, is Earth, and being trapped inside my own body with this accursed brain of THINKING. I just know I have to really get to Heaven when I die. I try so hard. But hey, if I don't, Satan's fun to talk to.
