I must thank him for this wonderful opportunity, and for making Galifrey what it is.

May I now introduce myself as ~Doobly, I will be bringing in a few minor changes to Galifrey, not many, mind you, it will be the same club you all love, but hopefully to make the administrative work for such a large club more manageable and therefore, all your submissions will get through quicker!

Right, as I said, under a new Administrator, there are going to be a some minor changes. When a piece of art or a story is submitted to Galifrey, we will ask for your pages to receive all feedback, therefore all comments and favourites will go directly to you. Nice?

A while ago a submission was deleted for this reason:~
"Your submissions may not contain material or images which were not created entirely through your own effort; this means that you cannot simply collect photographs, artworks and other images, writings or scans from printed books/magazines and submit them to your account. You are not allowed to submit “reworked”, “edited” or otherwise “modified” material which you obtained from other sources."
Therefore we cannot allow "photomontage" material onto Galifrey, please do not take this as a bummer, this is to prevent the club from getting banned!!

Right.......two things are gonna change around here.

First..... will be merging with Galifrey, so you can submit both Blake's 7 and Doctor Who art here. It's getting too hard to manage 2 clubs

Second, you may have noticed my somewhat erratic updating system here. When I first opened galifrey, I said that this was my first club and that I'd probably be really shit at trying to manage this. Well it's come to the point when it's getting to difficult to be constantly updating this club. There for I'll be looking for help in keeping this club up to date.It's only taken me this long to admit i need help because of my ego So any help will be appreciated.

Exciting News my fellow K9 lovers

Special thanks to who informed me of this, it has been confirmed the K9 who was the Doctor's loyal Robot Dog from 1977 to 1980 will be returning with Liz Sladen sometime during season 2 of the new series.

As I write this it has come to my attention that both will make their apperance in episode 3 of season 2.
There is still some speculation if K9 will remain as he is in the link or if he's rebuilt. There has been a lot of talk about re-designing him for the new century. But what ever he looks like, I'm bloody happy to see that Russell has brought back our beloved K9!

This week the BBC has released more info on the 2nd season of Doctor Who, the most exciting bit of news being that Elizabeth Sladen will return reprising her role of previous Doctor Who companion Sarah Jane Smith who appeared with both John Pertwee and Tom Baker. [link] news reveals that Billie Piper has signed up to appear for the whole of season 2, and the Cybermen have been scheduled to return. Still no confirmation wether K9 will return with Sarah, but here's hoping

It has come to my attention the Billie Piper who plays Rose Tyler in the new series may be leaving halfway through the 2nd Season. The article from outpost galifrey said.

"The next issue of Dreamwatch magazine will feature an exclusive report that the agent for Billie Piper has confirmed to the magazine that she will be leaving the series during its second season. "She's not doing the full season," the agent told Dreamwatch, indicating that she will likely appear in three to seven episodes of the second series. This is the first print indication that Piper may leave the show, although nothing official has yet been announced (we simply report what the magazine itself is reporting). Issue #130 of Dreamwatch will be available starting this weekend (and it also features interviews with Piper, Camille Coduri and John Barrowman). "

Well the new series is scheduled for May 21st for us Aussie fans and I must say it's bloody fantastic! I managed to get into a private screening of the first 6 episodes at last and they've done one hell of a job!
'Dalek' is with out a doubt my fav episode out of the lot. The atmosphere and direction was superb and the little reference with the Cyberman's helmet at the start sent the crowd I was with in an applause, It was a nice suprise to see that there ^^

Rumours are that there are to be 2 returning old enemies scheduled for the next season and that one of them could be the Cybermen. I'll try and find more info on that for ya!

New Series information:
No doubt some would have seen the just transmitted version or the avi. of the first episode of the new series. Personally I can't get either But I've heard it's amazing, So I'm quite happy about that and so should the rest of you.

# Now many of you would have seen images of a Dalek that is to be used in the new series, let me tell you now that this is not what we'll be seeing for future episodes. He will appear in the 8th episode of the series Where the Doctor and Rose land on a ship that is holding this Dalek which dates back to the Dalek wars prisoner. We won't see the newly designed Daleks until the final 2 parted of the series "The parting of ways" Where we'll see a massive Dalek invasion force with a hell of a lot of Hardware instead of just those Special Weapons Daleks.

# Even though the Dalek from the 8th episode may look dated, it's got some new abilities. They've finally got strength in that sucker stick of their's as it's been reported that it crushes a man's head with it! Exciting. We also get to see it hover a bit more too!

So I'll be looking forward for this new series when it finally decides to come to Australia!
