I'm getting closer to opening an Etsy shop, I think. Something inside of me keeps telling me that I need to start selling the things I make. I'm thinking that the new headbands will be part of that. I'm so uneasy about Etsy though. I'm not entirely sure how it works. Anyone care to explain?

My cosplay is finally up for all of you to see. It's so nice to have it all done and not worry about getting it finished for the big day. I did miss the cosplay contest deadline due to the registration line. Usually the convention is small so my aunt and I thought that we would be safe. We weren't though. That's okay though. At least I got to run around and see lots of other cosplayers. That was fun. ^^

Now as for future deviations, I have three amigurumi in the work. One is for Demi-Plum and two for fun. I'm hoping to get Demi-Plum's done pretty soon. Unless I work on some charms or something that will probably be the next deviation you'll see from me.

October is seeming to be an overwhelming month. This week I have a friend coming in town from somewhere I lived a few years ago. It'll be nice to see her. She's coming in on Thursday night and so she'll stay that night with me and probably the next night. We'll see.

Next week is my aunt's birthday on the 16th and Anime Banzai on the 17th. It's the biggest anime convention here and I'm going to go in my cosplay. I have to finish my Link cosplay still. That factors into the craziness. I'm close to finishing my shield, sheath, and sword. Just some filler, glue, gesso, and paint. Then I have to get a wig before then and hope that my ears come in time. I hope they do! I want to be able to enter the cosplay contest. I'll make sure to take pictures.

The week after is a nice break, but I'll have to use that time to write two papers that are due the next week. My aunt also wants to make stuff that week for my cousin's school's carnival. (Like candies and things like that.) Halloween falls into this week and right after that things should cool down.

So, I'm sorry that I won't be able to get a lot of art done. At this point it's looking like my cosplay and maybe an amigurumi will be the only things done.

I also hit another benchmark recently. I guess it was the flood of deviations, but my eyes suddenly beheld 3k in page views. Wow! I'm truly grateful. <3

On a personal note, my art will be slower now. Family has come in town yesterday and the rest tomorrow. Once the rest of the clan gets here tomorrow it's going to be busy, busy, busy. I won't be able to post anything new until September. I'm hoping it will be the art trade that I have with . I haven't decided what I'm doing yet because it deals with illusion. Perhaps I'll do something with magic. That counts as illusion, right? xP

There is a Harry Potter scarf that I'm knitting. It's the first knitted project that I've ever done so I may share it here with the dA community. I might also make a necklace to go with my whole outfit that I'm wearing to the newest movie. It'll be fairly simple but fun to wear.

There's probably a chance of seeing more charms as well. I don't have any planned at the moment but I'm sure I'll come up with some to make before the summer is over. Wow... Where did the summer go? There are only a couple months left. O_o

And on another note, the dA forum is weird. I've only made one post because people are just weird. I lose interest when someone starts bashing someone else for saying something small. Holy crow. I think everyone should take a chill pill.

On the upside of all of this, my sister thinks we should join teams and do an Etsy shop. She would sell things for babies and stuff for homes. I would sell the kinds of things shown in my gallery. We'll see how that goes.

Now that I'm home I can work on some of my art. At the moment I'm working on two sewing projects. One is a costume and the other is a plushie of that costume. It will be a cosplay and I'm totally getting close. My aunt has even mentioned taking me to a convention when it's done so I can parade around in it. That would be so much fun. I would like to wear it for more than just Halloween. I'm getting super excited about it. I just hope you all love it as much as I do when it's done.

There's also a downside to being home though. That means I have to finally get my license and get a job. They'll probably cut down in my art production but I'm fine with that. At least I can work on my sketchbook at work hopefully. This is why I'm saying that I'm back... mostly. I'll be here on deviantART but don't expect a lot of stuff.

I'm giving serious consideration to selling the things I make now. Family members and roommates keep telling me to do it. I'm currently to a point where I'm comfortable with coming up with all kinds of patterns for amigurumi. I'm making robot at the moment. It's going to be so cute. ^^ I would also sell some of my charms and other things I'll design. I have this cool idea for a bag, but I'm nowhere near a sewing machine. So it'll have to wait.

I feel like I've been on a roll with making amigurumi lately. I really do find it relaxing. ^^ But now I'm realizing that I wish that I was spending more time on my drawing and using my tablet. I haven't shown anything drawn by it yet. I'm hoping that in the near future I can show something. So keep a look out for it. ^^ I also want to use my Prismacolor makers more. I haven't really had the chance to do anything major with that. I'm also hoping to do something with that to show on here. xP

Oh! Here's another question: Would you like to see my figure drawings? I took a figure drawing class this summer and I loved it. I think that I have some neat stuff to show but I haven't gotten around to doing that yet. I'm also hoping to take another figure drawing class next semester, so hopefully I'll have more to show. So just go one ahead and tell me if you want to see them. ^^
