Unfortunately, I have far too many pages into a novel version to quit that, and just continue the comic. As is, I can drop the comic with no penalty- at this point, it's a preview. . It bothers me to have to stop it, but I do- for now, anyway. . This doesn't mean I won't draw pictures of those characters anymore, though- drawings have nothing to do with the story, so it should be fine. .
And no, none of this means I'm quitting drawing, or leaving DA. I just won't be drawing Tsukiyo pages anymore. .

However, this isn't the last comic I'll be doing, though- I'm going to continue Solis et Noctis. XD. And I'm thinking of making another one- I don't want to lose my toning abilities. . At this point in time, it'll probably involve my other OCs, such as Azrael ([link]), ([link]), ([link]), Alden ([link]), and Elina ([link])
And many, many more characters who I've never used anywhere outside Rps (there's a bunch of 'em. XD). And maybe I'll get to use some of my brother's characters, too (as a collab). If I decide to go through with it, the result should be interesting.

Anyway.. here's hoping for a new webcomic sometime down the road! (*hates being original comic-less*)

1. What does your deviantart name mean and why did you join this site?
My Deviantart name is the name of one of my favorite Harry Potter characters. . I mostly took the name because it was open at the time, and I didn't want it taken by someone who'd just let it die. Aside from that, I was thinking of switching accounts at the time anyway, so I made this one. . I joined this site back in 2003(technically) because I saw that there were a lot of people who had one, and I wanted a place to show off my art. That didn't require every piece being approved. >_<;.(Epilogue.. Elfwood.. .) So I joined here. .

2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?
.hack//SIGN. I was obsessed with it back in 2003. Followed by Slayers. XD. Now, I STILL love Slayers, but I think my main fandoms now are Harry Potter, and Negima. . But I draw mostly original characters. .

3. How many watchers do you have now?
30. I love you guys! .

I'm glad 2009 is here- '08 was a horrible year. My classes sucked, I couldn't draw for half the year(and still can't), and the one thing I had to look forward to was taken from me.(Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.)

1.) Improve on my artwork
I think I accomplished this. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to draw for half of the year, so I didn't get much of a chance to. Fate sucks. >_<;. The good news regarding that is, for the most part, my hand doesn't hurt anymore. So I MAY be back by February. But that doesn't help me now. .__.
2.) Improve on CGing
Yes. I definitely did. Azrael(and my unfinished Iruel) pic look better than my '07 stuff did.
3.) Get at least 50 more pages done in the novelization of Tsukiyo
Nope. .__.
4.) Get to level 45 in Maple Story. If I'm aiming low, 40.
Nope. I did get to 39 with two characters, though. ^_^
5.) Continue to manage to make a new comic page once every two weeks
Nope. See 1st statement.
6.) Draw a fanart of Tom Riddle, and UPLOAD IT. . I draw him all the time, but I never like them enough.

I haven't drawn anything since August, so I don't have any new art with you. And I hate it. >_<;. You see, I injured my hand the first week of school. On the first day of school, my elbow cracked REALLY badly(I mean, I could hear it from about a foot or so above it) from lifting really heavy books. My elbow was in pain for a good 2 months. It has only recently become well enough to lift minor things(for example, I was able to constantly stretch to put up Christmas decorations today), and I can at least play Animal Crossing now, too. XD. And DS games too, it seems. ^__^.
However, I'm not sure I can draw yet, though- I constantly doodle in my notebooks(to keep my drawing ability), but I can't draw anything that's full bodied yet. And coloring is out of the question now, I think. >_<;
And then there was the matter of my wrist- I accidentally placed it on top of my alto sax just right, and a few minutes later, when I tried to play a certain note on my sax, my pinky just locked up. Either it was from the key being sticky, or it was from a nerve reaction caused by the cracking in the elbow earlier that week.(I think those nerves are connected.)
Either way, it was locked up for a week, and then my wrist hurt REALLY badly for several weeks after that. Now, it's GETTING better, but not to full speed yet- I can write properly again, rest that hand against things without it hurting too badly, and the pinky is no longer stiff, or stuck in that position. . Which means I may be able to draw again VERY soon- I have a feeling it was sprained, and there was nothing anyone could do. >_<;.
Either way, look for my art again starting very soon. I'll let you know when I start again. ^.^

I don't know how long it'll be before I can CG again. I'm nearly positive I have carpal tunnel now, and it wasn't acting up for awhile- but it is again. I wish my mom'd just take me to the doctor so I can get that stupid splint and get it over with, but she won't. It's annoying. .

Anyway, shameless plugging aside..
As you can see from my recent submission, after nearly a month of having problems with my hand/arm, I can finally draw again to a certain extent. :3. (This may change after Saturday's CAT scan, though- the source of the problem is not gone yet, and may have to be removed. But my mom says the most that'll probably have to be done is for them to cut it open, and drain it, so it'll probably be OK. :3.)
Anyway.. I have several new drawings in progress, so look for those in the future. I'm currently working on:
-A pic of my Gaia avatar. I'm nearly done with the lineart, and this is very likely my next pic. . I love how it looks so far.
-A Tsukiyo related pic that was inspired by the song "All I ask of you" from the Phantom of the Opera. I HATE Raoul, but the song's just so pretty. And it's only the premise behind the pic, anyway.
-the Solis et Noctis chapter page. This has to be next, unfortunately. *hates coloring black, which is why I'm complaining*
-the next Tsukiyo page
And I have to redraw 'Fallen Angel'. I attended an anime art workshop at ACEN, and have learned how to draw 3/4 views better. . My new knowledge should make it look better.

1. Alexia Elridge- main protagonist of Tsukiyo. Blunt, stubborn, and detests chauvinistic pigs. She is being pursued by the Coupealean police because she is believed to have assassinated their king.(Which she didn't.) She has blue hair(dyed), and blue eyes. Her natural hair color is brown.
2. Iruel V. Riddle- main protagonist of Solis et Noctis. In my comic, he is the current leader of whatever's left of the death eaters. He hates Muggles, and was raised to believe that Voldemort's views were the best. However, he does question things at times. But for the most part, he's pretty damn evil. (X3). Teacher of Dragonology at Hogwarts. Very pale, and has black hair, and blue eyes.
3. Javert Mondiale- Works for the Coupealean police force. He chases after Alexia relentlessly, like his name sake, on orders from people higher than himself. Despite other evidence, Javert believes that Alexia did the crime, simply because he was told that. He also has a blind sense of justice, which will ultimately cause him a good deal of trouble in the end. Despite this personality trait, he's not really a bad person. Has brown hair, and one green eye, and the other's brown. However, he normally wears two different colored contacts. One is purple, and one is teal.

1. Number one, what was your childhood like?
Alexia: Relatively normal, actually. I went to school, and played games with Tenka. And my parents loved me. However, I had no other friends besides Tenka, as they found me too strange for whatever the reason. Even though it hurt as a child, in the end, it doesn't really bother me. I didn't have to go through the friend loss that most early teenagers had to. Tenka was also considered an outcast, and outcasts must stick together.

2. Character number three, if you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be? (It can be something regarding your personal history, or something that is in the history books.)
Javert: I'd make sure that the guards weren't slacking off when the king was assassinated. Then this whole mess would be prevented.

3. Number two, would you rather be immortal and eternally miserable, or live a mortal, blissfully peaceful life?
Iruel: Can I be both? Seriously, I really don't care about being immortal. That's one of Father's goals that I don't bother with. But I don't want a boring life, either. If life was always peaceful, Muggles would live in harmony with Wizards and Witches. Which I do NOT want.

4. Say, character number three, how much do you weigh?
Javert: What does it matter? o-o;
I'm 6'1'', and my weight isn't really important.

I also achieved something I didn't list- I wrote a novel for NaNoWriMo, and have a set plot for Tsukiyo.

Now, for 2008's:
1.) Improve on my artwork
2.) Improve on CGing
3.) Get at least 50 more pages done in the novelization of Tsukiyo
4.) Get to level 45 in Maple Story. If I'm aiming low, 40.
5.) Continue to manage to make a new comic page once every two weeks
6.) Draw a fanart of Tom Riddle, and UPLOAD IT. . I draw him all the time, but I never like them enough.
7.) Draw a fanart of the character my SN is based off of. BY HIMSELF. Cause dark mages aren't like certain good mages named Dumbledore, and aren't gay.
8.) Get to chapter 2 in Tsukiyo again.
9.) Get to at least page 10 by the end of the year in Solis et Noctis
10.) Gain more readers for both webcomics
11.) Somehow manage to get 5,000 pageviews by the end of the year.

1. Who is your favourite Pokemon?

This is a hard one. . I like a lot of them. My favorites are Sneasel/Weavile, Mismagius/Misdreavus, Milotic, Leafeon, and Nidoking. . I'd have to say that Nidoking is probably my favorite of all of them, but I used it far too many times in other Pokemon games that I had to refrain from using it in Pearl to make my brothers happy. They always dread me using him. Probably cause he can kick their pokemon's ass. :3

2. Why is it your favourite?
I haven't had on on my team for a long time, so I don't remember why, exactly. I remember it being pretty powerful with TMs, though. They also look really cool.

3. What is your favourite type of Pokemon? Why?

Dark. Most dark pokemon look cool(Except Skuntank.. stupid ass faced THING.), and they're usually pretty powerful.

4. If you were a Pokemon, what would you be?

Unfortunately, I can't be a Nidoking, as I'm a girl, so I'd have to pick a Weavile. . It's less stereotyped as a girl than a Mismagius(my technical first pick, aside from Nidoking) was a Mismagius. However, half the time they're depicted as female, so it's stereotypical. As a Weavile, I'd have claws to harm whoever I didn't like, and I'd be fast. XD.

5. What starter Pokemon would you choose? (name one for each region)

Kanto: Charmander
Johto: Cyndaquil
Hoenn: Torchic
Sinnoh: Turtwig. I never actually chose it, but anything beats Piplup. It's cute, but weak. . I've also heard that Turtwig learns the best moves of the starters.

6. What would be the first Pokemon you catch on your journey?

(None of these are by choice, except Starly. Who I still use on my team. :3
Kanto: Rattata. Who can avoid these damned things?!
Johto: Um.. I think I caught a Tailow. I don't remember.

It'd be horribly unbalanced, but my dream team is:
Weavile, Mismagius, Nidoking, Leafeon, Milotic, and maybe Houndoom. I've used it more than once, so I guess that count.

8. How long have you been interested in Pokemon?

Ever since the anime came out back in late 1998. X3. I don't care for the show, but I still like the game.

9. Do your friends and family like Pokemon?
My brothers.

10. What are their favourites?

Um.. I'm not sure. If I had to take a guess, I'd have to say Houndoom, Tyranitar, Flygon, Salamence, Rhydon, Xatu(Bad taste.. >>, Kingdra, and that's all that I know of. o-o;

11. What do you value more, the games or the toys?

The games. I like the toys, but they're so expensive now. Besides, the games are more fun.

12. What games do you have?
Red, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Pearl. I used to own Pokemon Pinball for the game boy color, but I sold it because I got bored of it.

13. What is your favourite plush? Figure? Game?
I guess I'd have to say the Vulpix beanie baby that Kentucky Fried Chicken sold back in 1998. As for figure, definitely my Nidoking figure. . As for game, I like Diamond and all, but I think I enjoyed Crystal the most. I remember having fun giving my pokemon haircuts, listening to the random radio stations, and calling trainers on the phone. . Diamond has massages, but it doesn't have the phone or radio feature.

I doubt I'll participate again next year. . I wasn't able to do much of anything in November online because of it. Now that I have free time again, I can CG! Yay!

For awhile now, I've been debating on changing my SN. I've grown to hate my old one. >. At the time I made the account, I was a huge fan of Sora from .hack//SIGN, and Kingdom Hearts didn't even exist yet. Or, it wasn't popular, rather. I THINK it existed.
The only thing I had to worry about was being mistaken for the Digimon Sora, which I didn't mind. Cause I thought she was OK, at least.
Then came the monstrosity known as Kingdom Hearts.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good game and all. Very addictive, and well made. But the fanbase for it..

The fans of it are so annoying. >>;. They don't draw anything BUT KH, or even like anything other than it. And then there's the amount of yaoi. X_X
I've just grown to hate the SN. If I didn't have 50+ watchers, or 10000+ pageviews, I'd leave that account for this one in a heartbeat. . A little known fact about me is that I'm a big fan of the character Gellet Grindelwald, from the 7th Harry Potter book(As much as I hated that one, Gellert was awesome. XD. ) I've been a fan of him for about a year now, even before DH was released. I blame RPing. XD. Though I used to call him Lawrence, cause he seemed like he'd have that kind of name. . I loved how I portrayed him. XD. And, oddly, his personality, and appearance, is very similar to how I imagined him. XD. I may or may not submit my version of him eventually.
