The science Lecture

Just reminiscing about a Science lecture that a few friends and I went to a few years back
It was one of my favourite school trips ever! MR LLOYD ROCKS!

Well there was that guy from Cardiff whop spoke about the Meteor hitting the earth
‘And then your Ipod melted to the side of your face’
‘So you rode the wave and ended up in Australia’
‘And the worse bit was, you didn’t get to eat your pot-noodle after all’

Then the guy who said the moon was a ‘dry, deserted, lifeless piece of rock . . . just like Swansea’

We then on the way home stopped of at Tesco
Not sure why, but we did

The whole minibus, minus about two people (one being Steffi I do believe) bought about 3 packets each of the Tesco Value 7p Jelly (this being the gooey squares you add boiling water to)
The boys also decided to buy Mr Lloyd some flowers to say ‘thank you’, well I say flowers, it was a potted plant really.

On the way back then we preceded to eat said Jelly and a lot of Coke (coca-cola)
The jelly (cos we ate it raw) then expanded in our stomachs cos if the Coke… ah the joy…

When we got back the boys then stuffed all the rubbish in one coke bottle and jumped on it….funny cos there was a sandwich in there…..



Anyway,

Had two exams today ARG!
Well the first was ok, Design and Technology
But Because I was supposed to be doing Sport Theory at the same time I (along with two others) was put in isolation throughout the four hours.

However, here come the epic fail, just as we handed in our first papers
THE FIRE BELL WENT OFF!
I am not joking!

So we had to leave, staying close to the examiner lady (no Kez, not that close)
And go up to the field, however we couldn’t join our forms, so we had to stand in the middle of the field looking like lemons….(rather cold lemons too might I add)

Then to top it all off, after a late start for the second one, it started raining, HEAVILY
I love the rain and all, but I did not trust the ceiling, it was sagging (Kez do not laugh) and creaking really loudly and dangerously.

But our examiner (a new one) did say at the five min call, “you have five minuets left until the end of the exam and the world as we know it.” That was closely followed by a large clap of thunder.

So all in all not too bad

Cept I’m going to fail my Sport Theory….ah well…

Well It really isn’t . . . . . . . I consider New Year to be on your Birthday. . . . . . . . . I think that is when you should make New Year’s resolutions. . .

But still, it is a time when pretty much millions of people are united (well ignoring the time differences and the fact that China has a different New Year)

So for me I hope that 2009 will bring a better year, I am definitely going to have a fresh start.

Last night I recieved my collector's edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard

I was exctatic to say the least


It did infact arrive in the morning but by that time I had left for school.

My mother cleverly hid it in my clothes, (just come back from being washed) so as I went to move them....Guess what fell out



Its soooo amazing!

The cover itself is to die for, without the sketches and the actual plated book!

Ah, It made my day yesterday!

How you could cope with bad days and unhappy times.

Everybody will have good and bad times in their lives.

There are some things you can not live without; having bad days is one of these, they are good things. They stop you being too overconfident. You need a balance. Just think about that next time you are having a bad day. It helps you get through it. It does.

Things will seem bad for lots of people; you just need that someone, even if it is only a friend, to just make a joke to make you laugh or even just smile. That stops it from being as bad. It gives light.

Even in the darkest of times one only has to remember to turn on the light.

It goes for all dark situations, anything that makes you sad or unhappy. You must think of all the things that make you smile.

Keep an e-mail folder, or texts that are dedicated to all the things that make you smile, like funny things, or something that is special to you, things that people have sent to you. You just have to read them for them to make you smile. It lightens your mood and mind. Even if it is only for a few minutes, it is like a high in the middle of sorrow.
