On Another Note

My rat is getting very fat :T Her sister, unfortunately, died recently. They ate EVERYTHING. My furry little garbage disposals :3. Well, now that her sister is gone, the food comes but she is able to eat it ALL considering theres no one snatching it from her.

You name it she eats it:
.cookies, pretzels, starbursts, fruit, ham, turkey, cheese, chicken, and even skittles. She just eats whatever. God bless rodents and their cast iron guts xD

Before it died, I was using an HP Pavillion notebook dv6500 as my main source of school work and art.

For the past year it had started giving me grief (random crashes) which resulted in me having to complete restore the thing over 8 times...

For a while I just restored it and got used to saving important crud on an external hard drive. Of course, the minute I really need the thing it decides it wont start up... I log in, it goes to my desktop then freezes. Continuously. So, wanting to save the two year old computer, I blow out the fan and buy myself a 110 dollar CD (Control Center) and let someone wirelessly mess with it. Im on the phone with the guy, watching my mouse move around and what not in safe mode. He manages to download the virus protection and goes through his "to do" list.

I have 2GB of memory, Vista taking up a half of that just to run and a 1.7 processor. He told me for the fact that I have virtually NOTHING downloaded on my computer, it should be screaming. Well... it certainly wasnt. His advice? "Buy a new one. Not worth a new hardrive." So that was the issue.

DX Well. A new computer is on the way. A DELL this time, so we shall see what happens... 4GB of memory, and a 2. something processor. Hopefully this will last longer than two years and the art shall flow again! <3

's Min-Pinscher had her puppies ( Girls:3 Boys:2). They're adorable! They just opened up their little eyes, and from what I've heard are starting to crawl around and explore. They even bark,... kinda. Evidently our little Dora (one of the most adventurous ones) has a little bit of her Mommys tude

She was already barking and growling at Forever's Pop.

2. Our High School was recently hit with a case of H1N1 (Swine Flu). It was during 4th period. We were in Math when suddenly, the Dean came over the PA and told us the news. At first, it was nothing but shocking. Then she proceeded to tell us that we would be shut down for 8 days due to the infection. We were VERY excited up until she canceled Prom... So, the first day off was okay. Prom had us in a tizzy but I was slowly getting over it. THEN, the school calls and tells us that Prom has been rescheduled for a month away. Okay news. But THEN they call and tell us, "oh ho ho ho CDC was just kiddin guyz! come back tomorrow kthxbai." Dx. Sooo, so much for a second spring break. Back in school now, feeling a wee bit grumpy about it haha.

3. Tattoo-age! I shall be getting my "ink" Friday afternoon, 2:45. It's genuinely simple. "N.M.W" on my lower back. If you want to see the font in all it's glory go ahead and note me

And what a trip it was

Camp was a hoot, despite the 11 girls (all between 11 and 12) in one little cabin; and only little ole' me to keep them under control (in bed at 9:30 and quiet. Up at 7:00 and ready by 8:00).

And there's no trip uneventful in my life. Evidently one of the campers from a neighboring cabin got home and unrolled her sleeping bag. Inside? A dead bat. Problem? The counselor from that cabin is being blamed for it, considering we were at camp for April Fools day and she was pranking cabins with her girls. Another problem? The bat had rabies... And two girls contracted it... So she's going to court to defend herself, and were all hoping and praying the mothers of the girls don't sue the camp. With all the budget cuts, they would just have to close the place down...

ANYHOW. That's all I have the patience to report now... Its almost three am, and Im getting ready to drive

to LAX. She's gunna go see her Hunny until the 19th. Wish her a safe flight please!

And still nothing on her puppies :/... We'll see how it goes. Hopefully they'll be born when she gets BACK.

Though, I think Burton might have been mooching a majority of the film off of Alice in Wonderland. Cheshire Cat, plants and such. Just a few little things that made me smile, considering I love me some Alice in Wonderland.

And holy crap! That lady was nearly naked; Gaby: "Her boobs are stuck together!"

And the critics were right. That movie scared ME half the time so I wouldn't doubt it would scare the crap out of little kids haha. Ily Burton.

On another note:
Its amazing how much he can turn around and do this to me.

Yes. Over the weekend my love for the animated film Osmosis Jones was rekindled. And so I was saddled with the task of finding the damn movie. I HAD to have it...

First things first. Check Best Buy since they're SUPPOSED to have everything. Go inside and start searching (on one of the store computers). They carried it so I started scanning the Family Film section. Nothin. So I call someone who works there over and she says she'll check for me. Turns out they only carry it online. T_T. I figure I could just order it and wait a few days. But me, being me, HAD to see it that day. So ordering was pushed aside as a last resort. Went into the parking lot and 411'd BOTH Blockbusters in my town. NEITHER of them carried it, though I had rented it a few months back from there.

So as I was leaving Best Buy, happened upon Sears. THEY had a DVD department. Went to go check it out. Low and behold, they had downsized. They had ONE shelf of movies. So left that place in about the same fashion as Best Buy. Depressed xP. After driving off made my poor friend Jami (whome I dragged with me the whole way) 411 Frys, which is about half an hour from where we were. Another last resort.

THEY HAD IT. So I used HER gas ( DX ) and drove us all the way out there. Get there, start searching, cant find it and go to ask for help. Girl comes back. "Oooh. We actually DONT carry it... It's just still in the system. Soooory."

...

I go and bitch to the manager, considering we drove all the way out there for nothing. Jami has vanished but Im in a funk so I continue to whine. The manager comes with me to the Family section and starts searching the same thing we've looked over all ready. A little voice from the heavens... "Found it..." Jami became my Hero that day. It was in COMEDY. OF COURSE IT WAS Dx.

So I bought it, then proceeded to spazz about it the remained of the weekend. When I told my Aunt about it: "Thats obsessive, you know that?"

Yeah. About that.

Today

Got out of school at 2:05. Had an ortho appointment at 2:30 so I had to hurry. Of course, today I had a rehearsal for my upcoming one act WASP and had to miss that for it. So I was already a little miffed. Felt like I had messed everybody up... We were supposed to block today (hopefully everything worked out).

So my brother meets me by my car and we head out. He doesn't have an appointment today so he just waits in the office. We go to this ortho place where everyones pretty chill. Your pretty much allowed to meander around the place. I was brushing my teeth in the back before the doc checked em out and my brother comes in looking for the bathroom. He finds it and goes in.

I sit in the chair, get told that my wisdom teeth are busting through my gums (owie) and that I have another 9 months in bondage (aka braces). Survive that, just to get BANDS slapped into my mouth. Two in the front. You put them on in a triangle (if you can picture that; clasp one end on the bottom tooth, bend the band over a hook on the top tooth then hook it to another clasp right next to the first bottom tooth hook). Both sides. Can't open my mouth. So of course I look like a raging doofus.

Doc finishes and I walk out. One of my FAVORITE assistants is standing in the doorway. As I walk out she whispers for me to come over. Im standing in the corner and she looks at me and tells me;

"Okay. Your brother went to the bathroom. Apparently there was pee all over the seat, all over the floor, and not flushed. One of the girls just went in; yeah it was disgusting. So if you could tell him that would be great."

At that point I look like a tomato with legs. Grimmacing, I trudge to the front desk. My fave assistant doesn't even say bye as I walk out with my brother...

Not to mention that I've been ragged on for my brother in there before. He cusses like a sailor. He started running his mouth off in the office WHILE the Doc was messing with his teeth. Offended a few people and who gets the shit? Yeah. The one who drove him there.....

And I share a room with him. Yes. He's 14. I'm 18.

Something else absolutely horrifying happened but I dont think that needs to be posted up here....

I'm pretty sure a majority of you have already noted the bullet hole in my forehead

I was lucky enough to be involved in a murder photo shoot with a good friend of mine named Heather Bratt. (You can find her photography here: [link]) She was assigned the project of putting together a story with photos. She told me that she had wanted to photography to be circled around "alternative lifestyles" and so our murder story was created.

A young girl meets a handsome young man over the internet. They've soon set up a date to meet at the Mall and are quick to venture to a further "venue" where they can be alone. The naive little girl has no idea that the boy she has left with has no intention of leaving her alive...

Went to the best underground rave EVER last night.

came with.

Seriously though, the venue was ten steps from a police station and believe it or not, they couldn't have picked a better spot! It was a little office space, about the size of my apartment with some of the best people I have EVER met. I would do it all over again if I had the chance.

To clarify, I dont smoke, I dont drink, Ill never roll, nothin. But the atmosphere of raves is the best thing ever. And I made myself a rave family Ill never forget. DJ LEGIT YOU ROCK MY FUCKING SOCKS.

Please don't confuse me with others. I am not a fan, but I did enjoy a majority of her recent songs, so I snooped around and grabbed the new album.

I am pretty impressed. I think "If You Seek Amy" and "Womanizer" are pretty damn good....

I did not watch the Britney interview but I'm a little sore I missed it. I think I would see her a bit different If I had seen it. Maybe when it's on again :]

On a different note! This entire thing was to draw me away from my Anatomy homework...That and college frights. I was just contacted by AI, and I will not lie, I'm horrified. I don't know how I'm going to pay. Where I'm going to live (considering I'm already sharing a room with my little brother at 18. Have been mu whole life). Nothing. BUT, I am positive that art is what I want to pursue. Graphic Design to be precise. I'm horribly excited about THAT. But horrified of everything else....Dx

Another note! I get my new phone on Friday! My upgrade is available tomorrow, but I don't get paid till Friday...bleh. But I'm hoping to get a Blackberry. If I beg and plead for my mothers help that is haha.

Anyway, homework doesn't want to vanish, and "Punisher" is on FX so I'm off!

I went with Jami and Amanda. We were all expecting it to fail a little.

We were THOROUGHLY impressed....

And of course we couldn't sit in silence...The minute the Cullens walked into the cafeteria we started howling. -swoon-....

I managed to shut myself up enough to watch more. I had originally found Edward kind of...ugly. Then holy SHIT! I saw him step into center screen and I felt very hot under the collar. He DAZZLED me....

Not to mention that my heart nearly stopped when Carlisle came into view....

AND JASPER! AWWWWW. Like something straight out of a Tim Burton movie!

Alice...I was a little more dissapointed with. Her acting seemed...like acting. It didn't convince me enough but GOD, that is EXACTLY how I pictured her. Emmett was the epitome of "vamp jock". It was perfect.

Tonight, it is "predicted" that proposition 8 will pass. Let me shed a bit of light on this prop:

Proposition 8 is an initiative state constitutional amendment on the 2008 California General Election ballot, titled Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry. If passed, the proposition will "change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California." A new section would be added stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

The reason for this TRASH? Ignorance! All over the televisions- "My children will be taught about gay marriage in school!" "If we allow that, our children will think it's okay to marry another man/woman".

Let me say this (and I am a Senior in Highschool), that in all my years of schooling, I have NEVER had any teachings of marriage. Schools are prohibited to even teach RELIGION. If we haven't heard anything about HETEROSEXUAL Marriages, why would they teach GAY Marriage?

I wonder- do people know that Discrimination is Illegal? That it is considered a HATE CRIME. There is no doubt in my mind that there will be change, even it takes years. But what people are doing now is considered a CRIME! AGAINST THE LAW.

And what do they think they can fix? Gay? Do they think that you can just FIX gay by banning their marriage? MORE IGNORANCE! Gay does not NEED to be fixed.

Keep your religion to yourself. The Bible says you can not divorce. By ending gay marriage, they are forcing hundreds out of their marriages. A theoretical "divorce". Forcing divorce...

If we can elect a black man (one that will do our country SO MUCH good) why can't we allow gay marriage? Step over the discrimination divide.

Pray for those who may not be able to marry the ones they love.

10 Reasons Why "Gay Marriage is Wrong"

1) Being gay is not natural.

And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicone breasts.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.

In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior.

People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Lamps are next.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all.

Hence why women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed.

And we can't let the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children.

So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our population isn't out of control, our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children.

Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight childâren.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion.

In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

(Did I miss the lesson where Jesus says He hates gays?)

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home.

Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.

Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
