But if I want to look up the word or phrase for sex, I still can't look it up in the 's' part, and I still have a problem because I don't have clue what the slang word is.

I remember a time where I could go to an archive and read _quality_ work. Now all I'm finding seems to be useless drivel. It got me to thinking that I used to be semi-known in the Sailor Moon fandom. It was my first one, the fandom that got me into fanfic (and let's be honest, writing in general) and hell, even helped me realize my sexuality (that's a story for another time, ). I wasn't known as an author so much as a rabid fangirl (and how has that changed, I ask you? ). I had several authors who I was a fan of, and who knew who I was.
I was even recalling the other day some names of the authors I still consider the greats... Erica Friedman, Jackie Chiang, Greenbeans, Andrea Hui, Tim Nolan, Dreiser, LexTennou, Saun...
I still write Sailor Moon occasionally. But god, I feel so old when I go to some of the newer websites, kinda like a dirty old lady.
I got known though, for writing Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanfic, more specifically my Willow/Tara stuff. The website where I posted my first fic is still up, and it's funny to me because I know that story is never going to get finished. Every now and then though I get a fan letter or a review begging me to finish it. It makes me feel good to know people still appreciate my work.
It's just odd to me at times how I've grown and changed as a fanfic writer/author. Maybe I'll post more about it later...

I, am such a dork. I've begun writing Real Person Fanfiction (RPF) about Celtic Woman, this really awesome wolrd music group I like. But do I pair them with men? Oh no, my friends. I, being the lover of angst, subtext and all things femslahs pair them with girls. Specifically other girls in the group.
The pairing I'm working with a whole, whole bunch that's quickly becoming my OTP (Original True Pairing) is Chloe Agnew/Lisa Kelly. To see where I got this brilliant idea, take a look at this clip. Ok. I know, I know. I, being a performer myself, know that when you're onstage sometimes you get swept up into things and it could look like anything. But me, being the subtext whore that I am, had my muse go, OMG. They're totally FLIRTING with each other. Which they're really not, I know. Let me make this clear that I know NONE of this is true in the slightest. Both girls are completely and totally straight. Lisa is even married and has three kids.
I'm becoming obsessed. When I'm not doing homework or working, I'm writing. I'm not sure if this is such a horrible thing, but it's annoying that I really can't post this anywhere for fear of it getting found out and getting in trouble (I am posting some of it on my writing journal, but even then I feel kinda iffy). I can't even really post it on DeviantArt because their mods are trying to keep no one from getting sued.
I am getting into it though. I've been doing my research and finding out everything I can about them. I've even figured out where Chloe could possibly go to university in Dublin (Trinity College, btw, for a degree in CHild Psychology) and how divorce proceedings are done in the UK (Lisa's got to get rid of that husband and keep her kids somehow). I think that I can apply this obsessiveness to my other writing. We'll see how it goes.
