The temprature is considerable cooler, but the winds slightly milder... so I suppose it evens out. Working away, trying to figure out how to get my career moving, but hey, one thing at a time.

Ho ho, Wellington is still my home, and after 2 months here Im really loving it! There is so much to do and see. Work is a laugh! Don't have to do much, and spend a lot of time out in the sun having coffee with all the nice people who come in, and other backpackers! Soon enough i will be moving over to the south island, something that excites me alot!

Wow, turns out that finding a job was easy. After walking along the main night strips, (Courtney Place and Cuba street), I not only had one job, but 4! So now i need to decide how many of them i can juggle. Will definately stay with the Italian Trattoria where i did a trial shift tonight, and the retro furniture shop/cafe where the owner Damon will leave me in charge as he goes of to work on the 'King Kong' movie. Wellington is very easy-going indeed!

Now I'm in Wellington, and count on staying here for about 3 months. Have got my bankaccount, now i only need some money to go in it! Am hoping to find a job today! Will see how that goes!

Have only got 3 days left in England before I have to leave my darling friends and set of on the adventure of my life. On Thursday I depart for New Zealand, where i shall be travelling about and work for the next 12 months. Still feels very surreal, and i have not quite yet grasped the fact. But am very exited about seeing another continent!

Arrived in uni yesterday to receive some fantastic news, The Sunday Times have chosen one of my designs to publish in their suppliment this week, or next. So exiting. Everything is rolling on quickly with the graduate show, and the promotion for it seems to be going well too.

This week I am chisseling out all the joints for my bookshelf. I was going to router the grooves out, but they where too complex for the router to handle, so a lot of manual work to look forward to, Jippiiii!

Anyway, everything is turning out fine so far (knock on wood), so I just need to be patient.

Spent a fab weekend in Stockholm, went to grona lund which is the tivoli there, and it is just fantastic, the rollacoaster gives such a thrill. Managed to visit the foodfestival as well, which was a nice surprice.

After that break im fit to get back to work, got some great advise from my parents on the bookshelf im making (they are designers and used to have their own furniture company). So I'm on my way to the workshop to try this out.

Rochester is getting ready for the big 'Dickens Festival' A festival lasting 3 days to commemorate the fact that Charles Dickens lived here. Me and my fried James are fleeing the scene and going to Sweden for a couple of days, will be fantastic!

Hope details and such will show better now, as I'm uploading larger images to. They still need some editing, but I'm sure you wont mind some minor dents in the background, I will fix them before i put them in the portfolio though!
My hands are shaking from holding the sander all day, but I am so pleased with the result, so it doesn't matter.
As of yet I haven't shown my tutor the cobra skin that I am going to laminate to the shelf. He didn't like the idea when I first presented him with a python skin, and if I show him my lates thing, (which still has the head attached) I think he might just have a heart-attack!
