Second: My sister, my parents and me were on the Games Convention on saturday. It was very interesting and I learned something about the GC: You're not able to visit the whole fair on 1 day xD
Anyway, it was an amazing day. And I met Judith Park, Germany's most succesful and best known Manga artist I got a photo and an autograph And my sister and me met Hello Kitty xD
Too bad that this was the probably the last Games Convention in Leipzig. It's moving to Cologne, I heard.

Like you already know, I did this entry exam for the technical college. I passed it ^^
I couldn't believe as my grandma opened the letter and told me that they accept me xD I was like :" Really, You're not joking?" -lool- the happieness killed me
I will share a flat with three other people. They're are two boys at the moment. The first one is around 30 years old and has a 5 year old little daughter ^^ and the other one is his half brother.
And the 3rd one was a boy, too. But he's moving one or 2 years to south-africa, I think.
So the 3rd room is free and we're searching for a prospective tenant. Probably a girl around my age, so that I'm not that alone xD
I'm kinda excited but I'm also nervous on the other side. -gosh- It will be a hard first week. -hopes to find some friends there-

I thought about this yesterday while Marty and I were in town. Well, it was actually last night.

People always draw within what they know, what they can do. Artists do what is familiar to them and very rarely step over bounds to draw something completely out-of-character for them.

So I propose this challenge. It's not about how good you are about the things listed, it's about how eager you are to try, how willing you are to expand your knowledge. So many people put down other people's style of art. Every style of art is difficult, or simple, for someone. Instead of shunning other styles, open your mind and really consider how the art is created. Remeber, art is an expression of yourself. What you may not consider art would be art to the person that did the original piece.

Ready to accept the challenge and expand your awareness, if nothing else?

Challenge Rules
1. To complete the challenge you must do all ten parts. You must make a journal and keep it updated so that everyone else knows how far you've gotten. You can do it as quickly as you like or take as long as you like.
2. Copy this entire journal and paste it into your own journal entry, where you keep track of what is and isn't done.
3. Don't steal other people's art to do this challenge! This is about expanding yourself, not depleting your reputation.
4. You should message me when your challenge is complete, with the url to your challenge journal. I'll update the very bottom of this journal with the people that have completed this challenge.
5. You are not taking part in this challenge to steal someone's art or style. This challenge is not for that. If you are viewing entries for this challenge, don't feel offended if someone drew a step in your style. Parts of this challenge are appreciating other artists and that means trying what those artists do. I am not in the least condoning anyone to steal/copy/change an original style.
6. When I say "Draw", you can replace the word with paint, photograph, write, etc. Whatever you consider art.

The Challenge!
1. Draw your pet, a friend's pet, or your dream pet. Styilize it however you want, but try to catch the key elements of the pet's character.
2. Draw your bedroom. Simple enough. Can be whatever style you like. If there's trash in your room, or if your room is messy, just draw it. It's no one's business if your room is a mess. xP
3. Find someone's art that you really admire. Someone that you've wanted to be like for a long time! Or a short time too. Try to draw like them. Draw your own things similar to their style. It can be anyone/thing you want.
4. Draw still life. Still life is something that is purposely set up. It can be plants, fruit, or any in-animate objects combined together. Draw what you have displayed and try to make your drawing/painting/etc look exactly like the set-up. You can not use photos for this part.
5. If you don't usually do realism, take a step away and try it! Find something real (a pet even?) and try to draw it as realistically as you can. Don't feel bad if you can't pull this off. Realism is hard! If you draw realism, take a moment to draw some cartoons, give them unique expressions and character. Picture cartoons from the 80s and such. If you want to do both, then go ahead.
6. Pretend you own your own company. The company can be whatever you like, produce whatever you like, etc. Please do not do any rip-offs. If you want an MP3 player company, DONT do something that looks like an iPod or something you've seen before. be creative and make your own design. Your task will be to design the product, a logo for the company, a company name, and a slogan to get people's attention.
7. Animate something. If you're unable to animate something, then just draw/paint/etc the frames for the animation.
