OH! i have exams coming up in a week. Fun! (not)
Just adapted a short story into a play that is now being read in my English class and could possibly be on the exam... Everyone in the class hates me now. But either they were getting tested on my play or on 'The Monkey's Paw', which is an actual serious play that would have serious things to think about. Unfortunately those who would thank me have not spoken up so I am feeling incredibly unloved.
Pessimists are louder than optimists apparently.

Oh, and I got a new laptop. One that has wi-fi, 101 keyboard, dvd compatibility and a battery pack that actually works!!!! (my other one always needed to be plugged in)

Well, the world's going to Hell and I'm driving the bus, so hang on tight 'cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

Him: Here, you need to take this bottle of Purel. There's this horrible flu, called swine flu, that has killed about 80 people in Mexico and it's now moving up North America.
Me: What?!? Holy Crap!
Him: Yeah, so use Purel or wash your hands before you eat. *Starts to walk away but turns back* By the way, do you want pork for supper?
And that was how my dad introduced me to the swine flu.
Of course now I'm really freaked out because my Social Studdies teacher is focussing on this flu in class and we were compairing it to the Spanish Flu of 1918, which suddenly went dormant, mutated, and then came back to kill about 50 million people!!! Yeah, that was the #1 way to freak out the class.

I have news. Cassandra Clare's next book is coming out tomorrow!!!!!! If you haven't heard of her then you should go out and buy her first book, City of Bones, her second book, City of Ash, and tommorow you go and but her third book, City of Glass. Everyone should read this trilogy!!!! But if any of you have a hand in making it end up like Twilight with all of the "Ooooo, Edward, marry me!!!!" crap, then I will hunt you down and slaughter you. And yes that is a threat. I will kill anyone who I hear screaming something like "I LOVE YOU JACE*!!!!!" and if an obsesive fandom sprouts up around it I swear that I will commit sepuku. But as long as you conform to these guidelines then I encourage you to read her work. Clare is brilliant and one of the best writers that I know of.
