Hey, i need your help. My friend and her step mom are going to do an artist alley table and they want me to do art work for it. I am hesitant on the idea to say the least because I would feel guilty saling my art since I just do art for fun and stuff

Its my fourth week of school and I already want to curl up into a ball and cry. I am a senior in college (so that migh give you a clue how old I am for those who don't know

Well, I did it. My cosplay is 100% done and ready to be worn at SDCC ^^. I really think it's nice for being sewn in three days

I've had a few people asking me when the next pages of Avatar: Rebirth are coming out. I know it's been over half a year since the last page and I apologise for that. Last school year was really draining on me and I had to focus on that. I have been out of school for a good month and there has not been an update. However, there are things going on at home that are really draining me. First on my list is that recently my grandfather passed away. The second thing on my list that is the main cause of my lack of inspiration to draw deals with my little sister. I will not go into great details of what has happened to protect her but I will say she is in some deep trouble. She has no idea how much her actions are effecting me and my family, or she does and doesn't care. I just don't the energy to do anything productive. I just feel so stressed out as of late. I feel like I failed at being a good older sister. I know none of this is my fault but I just can't help to feel the way that I do. I apologise for my little rant. I usually don't like to spread my personal problems like this. I just need to get it off my chest so maybe I can feel better.

I'm almost done with school and I couldn't be happier. I have two more weeks then it's finals! I am so going to start cranking out the AR pages this summer. I was going to do some pages over spring break last week but my lappy gave me the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH five times and I was worried if I was working on pages all my data would be lost and I would NOT be a happy camper. My goal if to get at least all four main characters in it by the end of summer. That's about 6 chapters, give or take how I pace out a few things. I really really want to get to the actual plot. These first two chapters are to most boring for me to do to be 100% honest. It's all intro and there's nothing fun. . . I want to get to my baddies *sob* And I want to draw the wonderful OCs you all submitted.

But we'll see. . . I'm going to be very busy with summer (again *sob*). I'm working on top of doing research. Then there's Comic Con stuff (like working on my cosplay). But that will be fun

I recenelt had a virus on my computer and I've been using my mother's for the time being. WhenI turned it in to the IT poeple they said they wouldn't wipe my hard drive unless it was the worst case senerio and I thought, "Hey, I bet this is nothing big. Go in, find and wip it, right?" So I didn't check the option for file back ups.

BIG MISTAKE!

I got my computer back today and I lost all of it. I mean all of it. I lost my 10 page paper I was writting, all my school stuff, all my art and WIPs, all my music, AMVs. . . EVERTHING! I seriously cried for a half hour straight. I am seriously pissed off my myself and the IT people for not calling my first before they wiped it. I can get some of it back kinda (not really the right formated) with what I posted online, but not all the things I was working on and my art homework I did last semister.

I decided to do my contest piece for *Dedmerath's contest because if I didn't do it then I would never get it done. This weekend is my midterm break

And I am going to get some pages done, PROMISE! Even if it kills me I will get some out for you guys. I know I haven't updated in a few months

Been busy with life. You know how that is =3=;. This semester is going to be a big time suck. I'll try ro get things done when I have the time to.

Well first thing is first, the contest. It has been running for a while now and I am going to close it up. I already have some winners in mind so I will post those soon.

I am SOOOOOO excited about sunday! You know why? Well for Tri-Beta, the biological honor society I'm joining, I need to do a short term service project and I just signed up to the the best one ever!!! I'm going to the ZOO with little elemarty school kids and I get to teach them about animals for their paper XDDD This was made for me. For those who don't know me in real life, I am a huge nature nut and my room mates are impressed by the vast knowledge about animals. I'm so pumped

I love teaching and telling people about animals. I want to be Zoologist one day after I graduate from college (Cartooning is my fall back plan XD ). I'm so happy that my animal-geekiness is coming in handy X333.

However, if comments like that devolve into personal attacks, or general flame-wars, then I'm going to have to block you and hide your comments.
It's not funny, it's not productive, and it's not acceptable.

There is a line between not liking something and outright rudeness, between personal insults and constructive criticism. If you can't keep your words civil then don't comment.

Hello everyone... I know I haven't done or said anything in quite some time and I apologize for that. But I thought I would give you all an update of what has been going on.

Well... First I want to talk about what my journal title is all about. Last wednesday I played D&D for the first time and it was AWESOME!! I've always wanted to learn how to play and I've played for like 15 minutes one time and yeah... That wasn't so much fun cause they were really far in their campain and I didn't really know anyone. But this time was different. It was soooooo cool! I'm hooked now. There are five people (not counting me) in the campain and three of them are my friends and the DM is a guy that I've had a huge crush up since I was a freshman, but he has a girlfriend and she's in the campain and he's my brother's best friend so he just sees me as his little sister TT3TT. But I'm getting off topic. My character is a red Dragonborn cleric, cause clerics are sweet

Welp, I'm all moved into my appartment on campus. It was A LOT bigger than I thought it was going to be. I had to go back home to get more posters to fill up my wall. I live like 15 minutes away from campus so its really nice to just being able to pop over if I forgot something. And I thought I brought a lot, but you should have seen the shiz my roomates brought. I am so glad I was the first one in cause it was a disaster zone @_@ The girl who is going too share my room wouldn't be here till nice semester so I have a room to myself at the moment which is nice. But it makes my room look really weird with it being half covered with anime posters and plushies while the other half is empty.

The only thing I would complain about is that there are guys on our floor =3=; One group of guys are across the hall and one is right next to us. Just in case you all haven't been informed, I just got my wisedom teeth removed on friday. Oh man.... That was so much fun, let me tell you. It was really funny though, one of the nurses was trying to distract me when the docter was putting the IV in my arm cause I am SCARED of needles *twitch* and th nurse as asking me if I had picked out movies to watch cause I was going to be a coach potatoe for a few days and I told her I was going to watch the New Avatar episode that night. I almost had a heart attack this morning. I went to turn on my computer to finish the four pages of AR, I finished the line work byt I knew it was going to be a few more hours of work so I stopped, it wouldn't start up. It just said Whidnows XP is starting up and then the screen went blank and nothing happened. I thought I had to do all my work over again. So I'm going to be keeping my computer on until I do get them done and get everything I want to keep off >3<

Now I really want to do that cause I'm a dork. I think I could pull off Tiako really well and Aori if I make my hair look short. Senshi I could do cause I can hide my boobs with his cape, but Kaska would be a bitch to cosplay as. For one thing I would have problems with his stupid hair

Oh dear.... Last night I went to Best Buy to get Scurbs, cause Scrubs KICKS ASS

, but I went to check out the anime section just to see, you know? But then I saw it.... Oban Star Racers... I've always wanted to watch it so I bought the first season and now.... I'm hooked. I was up to 2:30 watching it

All 13 episodes. I should have studied for Asian Philosophy exam that I have today, but.. it sucked my brain. And my Asian Philosophy is easy. She basically gave us our exam. I want to see what happens new SOOOOOO bad TT3TT But I'm going to have to wait till May 20th for the second half.

You'l never know whne life is going to throw at you *sigh* Today at work I had hte funniest thing happen to me. Fred the Young Adult Librarian asked me if I was woriking this saterday. I told him yes and he wants me to help out with organizing the Graphc Novels into manga and "non-manga" (like Mavels and what not). My might anime knowledge does come in handy

I also get to "work" by watching some anime with the meeting *teehee* I love my job

On that note, the con was awesome

I didn't get a picture of me though >3< I forgot to. I hope I can find someone that did. My Nemu cosplay was sooooooo much better from Ohayoocon. It makes me happy. Expect for the part with me freezing my ass off outside for the group picture. Not Fun... So lesson learned, don't wear a mini skirt outside

I got hit on by some 30+ year old dude... That was fun

Tomorrow I'm going to put my cat to sleep... if she makes it through the night. I can't stand seeing her the way she is now. So I think it's time for her to go.

It's sad. I can't stop crying. She came to see me and I scould tell something wasn't right. Right now she's laying on my leg, breathing really hard and she can't move right. When I picked her up, she felt colder than usual and very limp. Her meows don't sound right either...

I don't want her to be in pain anymore. I hope I gave her a good happy life.

UPDATE!!!!

My car passed away last night around 1:00... I should have been there when she went. I could have read manga by her side until she passed on. My mom and dad checked up on her last night and they said that she passed away in her sleep. I really hope that's what happened and that she didn't suffer. But now she's in a better place so I'm happy about that. Now we'er going to burry her in the backyard in the flowerbed outside my window.

Speaking of outside my window. A little Eastren Screech Owl was sitting out my window this morning it cheered me up. It was SOOOOOOOO cute! It was all pocket sized! I wanted to pet it!

I've been getting a lot of people asking me questions about when I'm going to unpdate Avatar: Rebirth and finish up their art that I promised them so I thought I would answer all of those quiestions in one journal.

First of all, you won't be seeing new pages for awhile for Avatar: Rebirth. O-Chem is kicking my ass right now and I don't have extra time to work on any of my art cause of it. My 'To Do List':

Hello everyone. Sorry for nt finishing the X-Mas gift art stuff. They will get done sometime. I've just had... other things on my plate.

First, let me start off by saying is I have an old cat. She is 15 and my whole world. My cat, Whiskers (I know. It's such a original name for a cat, but I was five when I got her) has been acting strang as of late. She wasn't eating right and she was losing weight. I thought it was her just getting old. But on Christmas Eve she gave me a big scare. I thought she was having a seizure. Our family had another cat who died like that so I freaked out. Good news that she didn't have one.

Though.... today I did get the bad news. My mom took my cat to the vet when I was at work and they said that she has a long tumor along her small and large intestine and they think it's cancer. We won't know the exent of the damage until Monday. I've been trying not to cry all day today. I know it seems to cry right now seeing that my little baby is still with me. I'm just scared. I'm not ready to let her go just yet. She's been my best friend for such a long time. I just can't see me not having her with me.

So yeah.... I just needed to get this off my chest. Sorry for my sappiness.

Yo everyone! I just got from TsubasaCon this weekend. IT WAS INSANE! Sure is was a small con but it was a blast! My friend and I got a rap song after us. It's called "Bishounen Hunters" (go figure, eh?) The guy who did it was cool I have a picture of him, but I'll post con pics later. I'm making an animated gif so I can add commentary.

Well, I dressed up as Nemu from bleach. I love to cosplay. Sadly like no one knew who I was.... That's what I get for cosplaying as a minor character *sad face* And my wig was being a BITCH!!! If you look at the pic you might not think so, but you had to be there. I could not bend over unless I wanted to give some fanservice... if you know what I mean. In fact, that's my con name know, "Fanservice". One of the can staff gave that to me. His con name is "Kyo". He's a cool guy. He gave me food

It's a little hard to see, but it was a dark wallway. I can't believe my friends just stood by and laughed at my pain like that. Some friends I have >3< So this was the dealo.... I just stole back my Floatsal plushie from him when he grabs my waist and tickles me and I fell into his lap. Everytime I tried to get away he would tickle me and I would fall back into him. He was being a meanie jerkface

And just was this vidoe was taken place I was saying "Rape! Rape!" and you can barely hear it on the vidoe, but my friend said "You con't rape the willing, Erin" and I flipped him off...

OH! And Kyo licked me, not once, not twice, but like four (maybe five?) times >3< But I did start it... I licked his ear cause my friend told me to. OH! And we got zippy-tied together for a way by the security cause they were bored.

I haven't seen my evilly cute Toko picture in the magazone but I had a person say "Congrats" to me and the guy who asked me for my picture sent me a note for my mailing address. Waz up guys?! Guess what time it is! Contest time!! WOOOT!!! Since I couldn't choose which contest to do there's going to be two catagories

Topic One: "Modern" (Yelp! You voted and this was your top pick! So lets see what you all can do with this

Okay everyone, as the name implies I want you to draw any of the Cast of "Avatar: Rebirth" in modern clothes. Straps, Belt Buckles, grunge or that wierd emo teenage thing that seems to be in every high school in the world, for some reason. Be creative, be original; random Aori in a basic hoodie isn't exactly impressive. You can draw one or more of the AR cast.

So go crazy and be creative!

Topic Two: Different Nations (this is the one I want to see

)

The Basic concept is pretty self-explanitory; draw one of the AR cast in the costume, makeup and/or armor of an elemental Nation that isn't their own. Once again, be original! Kaska in basic generic Fire Nation armor might look neat but if half the people do that, then it's hardly the most interesting effect, you know?

Jeebus... My to do list is getting longer >3< I just can seem to get things done.. Curse you summer school!

But thankfully I'm going to be done tomorrow with it

Though then I go back to real school two weeks later >3<

BUT OMG!!! I got my story board done for the whole first chapter! All I have to do now is touch up my three pages I've been working on and draw up the rest of my story boards

I'm telling you right now that it's going to be over 15+ pages so it might take a while

Plus, now I'm not going to ink my pages anymore. I just love the cleanliness the pen tool gives my lines, but this also takes awhile to do. But I promise it'll be worth it

I have the next 4 chapters all lined up to go as well. Here's the line up so far:

Chapter 1: Rebirth
Chapter 2: Brake Out
Chapter 3: -Working Title-
Chapter 4: Demon of the Forest (WooT! Tiako's chapter!!)

Yep, I have chapter five sorta planed, but I'm not going to post it up there yet.

Oh my goodness.... I'm so scared right now... I've been reading journals of some of the Avatard giants (Booter-Freak, Isaia.. ect) saying that their art is going to be in the Avatar Magazine that I was geeking out about... But now knowing that makes me worry about mine not making it >3< How can I compete with Booter-Freak?! Or Isaia (her art was in the first one btw)! This really put a damper on my Avatar hyper mood.... *sigh*

Well, I'm still honored that they even asked me if they could use my art. Not many people can say that

I must stay positive. There might be still a chance I'll be in it. That would be really awesome since my art would be along my idol's art work. I would explode with my crazy Avatard geekiness.

Holly shit guys! I've been away from the internet for three days and when I come back, what do I find? A note for a guy who is working on an All Out Avatar Nickelodeon magazine and he was interested in using my picture "Toko Taco" for the fanart section! I am totally geeking out! It's not a sure thing that it will show up in the magazine so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

But to be even considered for it is a great honor. It makes me all warm and fluffy on the inside.

This makes me sooooooo pumped to work on my comic and finally get this last chapter finished :shakefish:

Which, BTW, I finally got together this my friend this weekend to work on the dialog for the next three pages. I'm no good at mystical sounding stuff so she helped me out. Thank you ~MicaSilverwind
