Well I'd like to start this journal off by saying how odd the past two days have been for me. With all this about =apexigod and °jark going on it is a bit overwhelming, but I will live. I send my love to =apexigod's family, and hope they stay strong in this their toughest hour.

As for °jark... I didn't particularly care when I first heard the news, but after a nights sleep(and an odd dream about a yellow alien. :O) I've gotten a bit more concerned about it. Not only is °jark one of the founders of dA, but he is definitely a major figurehead in the community which I have come to know and love. Now with only 9 days left until dA's 5th birthday we seriously do need to bring back TheCommunity.

I agree with `onestar.

On August 7th noone should submit ANYTHING. I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi. Spend some time on dAmn or in the forum, or anything just to get that community spirit back.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a :nod: and a :heart:.

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

Mood: Artistic Toasty!

 Here's a quick lesson in punctuation... You see, we have these things called "ellipses" which look something like this "...". Pretty much just three periods lined up in a row. But when you line up 3 question marks(These thingies -> "?") or commas(This one -> ","), hell even Exclamation points(They look like this -> "!") it makes nothing... absolutely nothing to be exact.

Still working on the toast project, it's just not as "In Full Force" as before. I've got a list and when I get to it I'll finish it up(It's a long fucking list :dead:) But all will be taken care of, but my life is a bit messed up right now so it might not go too fast. :hmm:

Mood: Artistic Toasty!

Thats right, the #Hell that we all know and live is getting toastified. Begining today I will be working non-stop to get all of #Hell to participate in this large scale toastification.

Pretty much the plan is that I will make a toast avatar for each and every person who is a member of #Hell until hell is completely toastified. Now, this is actually alot of work on my part, but that's alright because I want to do it. :shrug:

Anyway, that's what will be happening I'll post all the people who use my toast avatars here in this journal. Everyone else can die a slow and painful death. :aww:

I've decided I don't post long nough journals so I've decided to do something interesting today. :P

Instead of talking about how my life has been, etc. I will babble on incoherently for as long as it entertains me. :aww: So here we go.

I was watching TV the other day when one of those Ipod commercials came on, and I realized why they do those silluettes while the people are dancing(other than for "Stylish" reasons.). It's so they can hire the best dancers they could get, and not have to worry about their looks, other than what clothes you could actually see. The commercial itself is pretty neat, but all in all it's just another commercial. I've actually been watching alot of TV lately. The shows I will normally watch are "Hell's kitchen" on monday, "House" on Tuesday, Wednesday I'll watch the Simpsons(Actually I watch it everyday :P), thursday it's "Antiques Roadshow and that cooking show after it, and friday I don't watch TV. Sunday I'll watch the shows on Fox, family guy, american dad, simpsons, Malcolm in the middle, etc.

Actually, I realy am starting to like American Dad. I was very dissapointed with the first episode that I saw, but after that they actually started getting better(although they do have some fucked up humor.... Which I love :P). And family guy has started getting weird. Like the ends of the eppisodes make less and less sense. Simpsons Will always be great, but now they've got like a "Set" way that the episode will go. Starts of with something, goes until it's about 1/3 to 1/2 way through the episode and something else will happen and it will go on about that. But there's still stuff to laugh at, so it's good. :D

I've been playing alot of games lately too. Within a single day I'll play probably 3 games, and normally those games are Eternal Darkness, Gunbound, and Gunz. Eternal Darkness is a completely awesome game, it's got lots of freaky shit, a good story line, some fun gameplay, and lots of other neat stuff. I'm currently playing that on Gamecube, and loving it for that matter(on my way through the game for the second time, and it actually has alot of different stuff. Makes me want to play RE4 though.) Then Gunbound is a massive multiplayer online game where you shoot at people in these things called "mobiles". Lots of fun, like worms armageddon, but online. Gunz is actually a realy neat game that =RedBigTex introduced to me. It's in it's beta stage, currently. It's a massive multiplayer online third person shooting game, but with some realy neat gameplay elements. Asides from the awesome sword fighting, you can also do all those matrix-style tricks. So it's got some pretty chaotic gameplay. Mix that with character customization and you've got yourself a winning combination.

I think I'll stop writing now, just because I can't see where I started writing anymore. :P That's it for now, enjoy. :D
