I just walked in the door from Screw Attack's 2009 "Ghouls and Games." Oh it was a freaking blast... way better than last years. I was able to capture some cool stuff with my camera. I'll start editing/uploading some of it tomorrow. I just want to say I really did have an excellent time with Jaime and the whole Screw Attack team. I'm very thankful to have found SA.com. I love watching/reading all the neat stuff they create and post on the internet. Thanks again Screw Attack for another kick ass Halloween party.

Contra III - The Alien Wars (loads of fun and was kind of hard)
Sunset Riders (I freaking love this game... it's a classic)
True Lies (This game was way too long and didn't even have a good ending)
Beavis & Butt-Head (Not proud of this... the whole game was a freaking joke)
The SNES has a large catalog... this could take awhile.

Uh I really hate being sick… I’m one of the many Americans sick with the flu.
Luckily I was able to get some flu medicine right away before my symptoms got worse.

So it must be that time of the year... the air is getting cooler - leafs are falling from the trees and I'm changing my Wordpress theme once again. I just can't seem to leave things alone ha-ha. This time I'm using a new theme from BlogOhBlog.com called "Fire Bug 1.0" It's a beautiful theme and its free! Can't really beat that. I've made a few changes to the source code... just to better the look/feel.
Anyway cheers to a new theme and also to that winter weather that's rolling in.

So the other day I had a great idea for this month's Tuesday's Meltdown Mix. Since September is the month I was born... I thought it would be sweet to do a whole mix on the songs I grew up with. Bands I listening to as a teenager. Now I've already made my track list... I had to cut it down THREE times (it got way too long) but there is gonna be two parts to the mix.

So I really hate using the "I've been busy card... sorry for not blogging!" it's not a reasonable excuse for not updating my website on a daily bases. Lately I've been running around doing my photography thing... filming short films (talk about that later) or designing stuff for my other job. Finding a real clear obvious moment to write a sensible thought or feeling is very hard to come by... ha-ha. :heart:
I do hope everyone has been checking out those musicians/bands I've been blogging about on my website.

So yes... I finally uploaded "Monkey Wii 3." I am extremely sorry for the wait... I have been going back and forth about what stuff should be used and what needed to be cut. In the end I am very happy with the final cut. Oh and yes... this is the FIRST short film I've used myself in. Believe me... I was very nervous working with Mr. Monkey. He is such a natural and pro when it comes to filming these type of things ha-ha. Here are a few still shots for the short film.





Ha... very fun. Kind of wish I had more free time for this type of work. Also... yes the GameCube controller did hit me. We did 3 takes and each time Ross got me. Thanks Ross!

So here I am! Yeah it's been awhile... ha.
Here are a few updates that's going on in my life.

I have been working on my music nonstop. Last week I reached a whole new level with my sound and style. Wow... I have a style now? Always wanted one =)
I'm really excited about this one track titled "Ocean." I used an old audio sample I took when I was in Hawaii. There is a major amount of time and work going into this track. I want something near or right on pure perfection. I have two versions of "Ocean" one version is a chillout mix and the other is a fast club mix. I love them both... so I think I will just end up discharging both.
You know I have never been 100% satisfied with my music. Don't get me wrong! I don't think my work is awful... I just wanna make something that blows my own mind. I remember hearing ATB's "Too Much Rain" for the first time. I couldn't believe someone could make such music. It blew my mind away.
Oh! a friend of mine sold me a new amp for my turn tables. So now I have something to hook up my Sonys and my lovely/loud Technics speakers. I have been DJing for 30 minutes a night... nothing real special just some random tracks. I posted a picture of my setup using my twitter and twitpic. [link]

Personal Life
Wow... I can talk a person's ear off about music but when it comes to my personal life I lock up ha-ha. So let's break the mold ok... everything in my life is starting to make senses to me. You really have to simplify things in life if you wanna enjoy what's around. So let's simplify with letters a-i.

a. I still wake up at 5am for work (blah)
b. I still love my McDonalds (never giving that shit up)
c. I love my little dog Bella and my very crazy cat Andre
d. I'm working on another Monkey Love video (check them out on my YouTube page: [link] )
e. I have been fixing up my apartment... I really love my home.
f. I have learned to love the person I am... no matter what others think
g. I am enjoying my time with my new girlfriend Candice
h. I wanna be something big one day (not sure what... but big!)
i. I can't wait for my vacation to Galveston, TX

So yeah... that's my life in a little nutshell. I would like to think I'm your all around typical guy. I've been told it's my true love for music and photograph that gives me an extra edge on another guys. But at the end of the day... I am who I am. I'm very thankful for the life I have... and for having a website where I can share my creative thoughts. This is only the beginning.
