I need a new journal up in here..

I've been working with a new program in my computer graphics class in college. It's called Corel Painter. I've seen a lot of artists use this program. And so far, it doesn't seem that bad, since I am very familiar with Photoshop and all. A lot of the things are similar, except that painter has a HUGE library of brushes to use..hence the word 'painter' for the program name. You paint your artwork

It's a really fun program so far, I need to get better at it. But I have always loved painting ever since High School. So I will really benefit from this class.

I'm also refreshing myself on my film skills. I knew a lot about film and recording while in High School and at the Career Center. But taking this intro to film class really blew my mind at first, since I forgot a lot of important points to film. It's fun though. I love my class, and the new programs I am learning how to use.

I need to get back into the rutt of actually doing traditonal work. I can't remember the last time I have sat down and drew something worthwhile on a good piece of paper (other than doodling in class.) Since a majority of my time is spent on the computer(Playing Guild Wars, lol) I usually draw up my stuff on open canvas while I am at home.

In life outside of school, nothing too exciting is going on, other than working and playing Guild Wars. Though I am excited for Saturday. My boyfriend and I's 3 year anniversary. Gonna go see Pan's Labyrinth with some friends. Anyone seen it? Is it good?

Ack, pointless journal. Ohh well

Can't really say much is going on now. Other than I have been addicted to Gaia Online like crazy lately, I offer commissions there for avatars and I get some extra gold to spiff up my character.

I've been driving back and fourth from Portland to Lansing so I can spend time with Aaron. Sadly I don't have a job yet(till school starts) so gas money is hard to come by now.

I really need to go clothes shopping..my shorts are going bye bye from wearing the same ones all the time. It sucks, but I gotta wait till my birthday to get some money.

1.My boyfriend Aaron: Isn't that pretty self explanitory? I love him so much ^^.

2. Drawing: I've always enjoyed drawing since I was little. I just feel so relaxed when I draw, I get lost in my own little world...or something like that.

3.Video games: <3 video games, cannot stop playing them. I act like a zombie, and I get angry at anyone who either 1. Walks infront of the tv while I am playing. and 2. Keeps on talking to me when I am trying to concentrate D:<

4.DDR: Doesn't that count as a video game? D: OH WELL. DDR is probably my ONLY SOURCE OF EXERCISE! Which is so sad, but the game is fun as HELL...the ARROWS! Must obey the ARROWS!

5.Knowing that I am a straight-edge person: Don't know what that is? I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. People find this super funny because I come from a background full of those people. I dispise all of those things. I don't hate all people that do them, I know plenty. But it just makes me happy that I have not resulted to doing any of them.

6.Music: Without it I would not be sane :l

7.Red Pandas: My favorite animal, omfg they are way too cute! :3

8.The color orange: I dunno, it's just my favorite color now. I am just so attracted to everything orange now. Really :l If I see something orange outside or in a store, my mind tells me to migrate towards it.

9.Sleeping: GOD I love to sleep, I sleep almost over 12 hours a day...which is SO unhealthy for you. But I just like to sleep :l

10. Last but not least.. Deviant art: Oh I've met so many wonderful people here...and not so wonderful. I've made lots of great friends. But what really brings me joy the everyday drama amung so many artists makes me laugh out loud XD

2. I have this strange fear that whenever I go swimming in lakes or oceans, ANY body of water. That fish will bite my toes. So whenever I go swimming(not in a pool) I curl my toes in so fish won't bite them.

3. Also with the curling of the toes thing. I ALWAYS seem to curl my toes when my socks are off. Espically when I am sitting down on the couch or at the computer. (This annoys the hell out of my boyfriend, he says I have monkey feet because of this :B)

4. I bite my nails till they hurt......all the damn time. And I never seem to stop doing it.

5. My favorite movie in the ENTIRE WORLD is Milo and Otis. I used to watch it every GOD DAMNED DAY as a kid. Then all of a sudden I stopped...I just recently bought it on DVD in Walmart for 5 dollars XD.

6. I love to dance with glowsticks at clubs. CAUSE IM A LOSER

Woza, been along time since I have posted anything at all here. I'm not dead, I still check my messages everyday. I just plainly don't have time to draw anymore..and when I want to I just don't really feel that up to it.

I have like a gazillion sketches sitting up in my room, some half inked, half colored. I just don't find any motivation to finish them at all. But I will someday!!!

Right now I am just hella busy with school. I do have a lot of artwork from my drawing class, most of it is my boring realistic crap anyway, and my nudes(omg boobies O.o). I could start posting some of that but most of it is too DAMN HUGE for my scanner. I could take a picture of them...hmmmm.

My life just isn't going too well at the moment. There is way to many issues with my family at the moment, I am being forced to move out and I will soon be living with my Aunt and Uncle which is kinda far away from my family and Aaron....but it might be a good thing for me.

Lol, I'm going to Prom this year again with Aaron. I'm a college student :B I'll be sure to get pictures of that. I just need to find the money to get a nice dress @_@.

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well and maybe I'll stop being a bum soon and start drawing more :3

I downloaded the intro to Kingdom hearts 2, HOMG. My kingdom hearts geek-ness flew up a roadflare. And ate some kittens. It looks way too awesome, I cannot wait till it finally has a release date >_>.

I heard that Advent Childrent shall be comming out next month. I'm excited about that as well. I'll have to snag me a copy if I can.

Oh my goodness. Haven't updated this in about a month

Well School and work have been keeping me super busy lately. I don't work much. About 20 hours a week...but the hours that are given to me and plus class time and homework time AND less than 4 hours of sleep a night=*pulls hair out*

XD yeah...pretty much. I just got a job today as a sales rep. for a company called Vector who sells Cutco products.

I'll tell ya, today in the interview they showed us some of the products and even though they are knives and kitchen supplies, they are pretty damn cool. They have freaking scissors that can CUT PENNIES IN HALF. I saw it with my own eyes! That was so cool! XD And I actually will be a sales rep. Yes I shall be one of those annoying people who walk up to your door and try to sell you their shit. But it's cool awesome shit! XD

But yeah, I got hired and I am happy. They pay good too.

God training is gonna blow though....5 hours a day for 3 days

I am a knife salesman!!!! XD

Ok…the operation wasn’t bad at all. I was just freaking nervous. The doctor told me I probably wouldn’t remember walking out of the building. Surprisingly I remembered everything. The anesthetic they gave me made me feel really tingly. I can’t really describe it. It was like I was being hypnotized….but mostly I just felt tingly ^_^. Anyway, it was hard for me to move my arms and talk to them when they asked me too. They told me to make my hand into a fist and it seemed like it was the hardest thing to do. I felt them poke my arm and I could hear and kind of feel the crunching when they pulled my teeth out. But it didn’t hurt. Then when they told me it was over I started crying. I told the nurse-lady that I didn’t know why I was crying. She told me that it was part of the anesthetic; it sometimes makes people really emotional. They said that they had a big football player guy cry once XD Then the lady helped me walk out the door and to my moms car. I felt really wobbly, but now I feel fine. My mom just gave me some Vicodin and left to go get me some ice cream ^_^

I know as soon as the numbing goes down my mouth will hurt really bad O_O. That’s why my mom gave me the Vicodin early. So maybe it will have kicked in by the time it goes away.

Omg…eating ice cream is SO hard. The bottom of my mouth is all numb...and it's....IT'S JUST HARD OK?! T_T

Ok...nevermind...THE PAIN IT HUUUURRRTTTSSS T____T

Well this is offically the last week of Highschool for me. On Thursday is my last day of school and my Capstone presentation is on Wed. and Thurs. Sunday is my graduation.

Yups, starting next Friday is the Skills USA competition. My Career Center class New Media has three groups entered in it..and Cassie is in one of the groups

The competition I am entered in is for Television production. Working with cameras, editing and all that jazz is stuff I enjoy greatly. I do things like that all the time in New Media >D

This is the state competition, so our Career Center is competiting aganist all the other Career Centers in the state of Michigan...O_O *STRESS*

It starts Friday though. I have to be at LCC(lansing community college) at the M-Tech center. Tjere they are going to tell us the Theme, genre and the time limits of the competition the next day.

Saturday I have to be at a resturant at 6 in the morning -_- ugh.....there I will meet up with my Career Center teachers, and the other groups who got into the Skills USA comp. (there are other competitions other than tv production) Then we go to LCC again. What we actually have to do is make a 60 second PSA about the theme and stuff that they tell us the day before. We have exactly 2 hours to shoot in and outside of that building and then 2 hours to edit and then turn it in. O_O ahhh!

I am so nervous about it...We did a kind of pratice competition in my CC class to see what to expect..but it was so freaking hard to do. Hopefully my partner and I will do well. Wish me luck.

On another note..I started drawing again! I've been on an art block for awhile and I actually drew something today XD. That means I can finally finish ~XxFallenYoshixX art trade @_@ ahhh!

Teh Cassie is sick

Last week my sinuses started hurting so I knew that I might get sick soon. It just didn't get bad until yesterday when I went to work. I kept on sneezing at work and I felt tired. Right when I got home I fell asleep instantly.

Today my nose is stuffed up, I'm coughing and my throat hurts. Symptoms of a cold...oh joy. Everyone seems to be getting a cold lately....and dang right when Spring starts to pop out too. It's so nice outside. I wanna go for a walk, but I am too tired. SADNESS!

I haven't been drawing really anything at all! Well...I did one thing..but I don't like it. Haven't been really inspired lately. But it will come back soon...I hope.

Man..just over the past few months I've been feeling horrible. All the time I am so exuasted and tired. All I want to do is sleep. I've talked with many people about this sleeping problem of mine.

I sleep from 11 PM to about 6:20 AM every morning, I get up and sleep on the bus on the way to school. That is a half an hour. Then I sleep on the bus on the way to the Career Center in the morning. That is another 30 minutes. Throughout the day I am tired and out of energy. I feel that I can barely stay awake in class, and I have no motivation to do anything (other than 'Your going to fail!'). When I get home lately, I go upstairs to my room and crash out for about 3-4 more hours. That is a total of 11-12 hours of sleep a day! My friends, some family have told me that is wayyy too much sleep. I've been asked if I have been under a lot of stress lately. I can say I have...

First I have my portfolio due on the 11th of March. I have a few peices done and I slowly work on others bit by bit, but I fear that they aren't good enough. It's just getting me worried that I might not get it done in time.

Then there is Skills USA. A competition that my partner Caitlin(from Career Center) and I are going to along with 2 other groups in my class. We will be doing a video competition aganist other people around the state. It's sometime this month and I am nervous about it.

Well..College. I turned an online application to Lansing Community College and I got accepted. But it doesn't seem like a very good accomplishment to me. Everyone gets accepted there. But it has the classes I want to take and everything. I just need to fill out a lot of other forms and financial aid and go to orientation to pick out my classes..I am just worried about all of that.

Work.......just takes the energy out of me a lot. I only work 3 days a week and lately I have been working short shifts. Except for yesterday..I worked 8 hours. But anyway, I feel so tired after work. I feel lazy and I don't want to do anything but sit and relax.

But yeah, I feel lazy, tired, unmotivated and all this other crap. Maybe it's because I'm stressed or maybe it's just because I am a lazy person. It's just nothing has ever happened like this to me before. I don't know whats wrong with me.
