Mmkay, so I keep having this recurring dream, sound? It goes like this, every time:

It starts with I'm sitting in a lunch-room in an ornate schoolhouse or something, talking to my my friends, and a strange Apollo-like fellow is sitting at the table, talking to us about his brother-thing and how he was stuck in a "floating dream". That's when my dream flashes to the image of a black figure and a gray, dead-looking angel. All of a sudden, I exit the building to be standing in a vast field, the sky dark with rain clouds, and the grass meeting a wheat-field to my left. I see a beautiful golden angel, male or female, flying over my head with unmoving wings, the sound of bees or other sort of whooshing coming from somewhere, possibly from the angel. Suddenly some sort of blackness is seen before them, and their goldenness flakes away, like ash on a half-burned log, leaving their clothing gray and their face nothing but a dead skeleton. Their body thuds to the ground and the Apollo-angel man is suddenly next to me, and he greets me. Then, I wake up.

That. Is the most.... epic dream I have ever had, and yet it's always unresolved. I'm thinking of writing something around it, perhaps the utenzi I haven't written yet for my Poetic Styles from Around the World project. That's a Kenyan epic poem style, and it'd be perfect for telling a story around my dream. Perhaps I should make illustrations for it too.

What do you think? Any suggestions on how to expand it? Who is this Apollo figure? Is he good? Is he evil? What is this blackness, who was the gold angel? Why the crap was I in that workshop.

Engage!

Spent five hours today with a friend at Westfield Mall today. We walked around the place for a long time, and I bought us some Taco Bell at the food court. I kept talking in a Lancashire-like accent the entire time, though sometimes I slipped into a Scottish or Scouse accent, when I felt like it. My friend and I danced and went "un-s-ah-s!" in the entrance to the Abercrombie and Fitch store. We then went to go buy some ice cream at food court Dairy Queen, but we didn't have enough money for that after we bought a Build-A-Bear (which we named Wesley), so we just split a pretzel instead.

Later on, when we ran out of places to go, we sat outside near the entrance to the mall, and just talked about this and that until two teenage girls came up to us and asked if they could pray for us, which might have come from me talking about a character of mine joining a clerical mission to Tanzania as they passed. I didn't feel I needed praying for, so the girls prayed for my friend, and agnostic who is searching for God again. I prayed along with them, and gave my friend my bible, which I had happened to be carrying at the moment. The girls highlighted a passage in my bible and gave my friend their phone-numbers, in case my friend wanted to talk to them again. My friend was very open with them about her fears of Hell, and also told of her fears of going out into the world as a young adult. Having talked to us, for a while the girls left.

Soon after, a man walked buy us and randomly asked if we happened to have a cigarette. I just found that funny, since we just came across these saintly girls and then a smoker just came buy. I'unno, it was a little ironic.

My friend's dad came to pick us up and, here I am, five hours after I came home, watching Ballykissangel and trying to draw.

The talk with those girls gave me new hope in my belief in Jesus, and I really do feel if I can just get to a church, my faith will fully be restored. Pray for me, fellow Christians, but pray for my friend, too, since she might need it far more than I.

Have an awesome day!

After a lengthy conversation with ~BlueSpartanOfVGC, I decided that as some point, I'll make a Hetalia-esque comic based around the history of Rome, from its founding to the Constantine Empire.

Here's a rough outline of things to expect:

(background)

753 BC- Roma is born, found by the brothers Romulus and Remus, and adopted, with their landlady Eturia becoming their nanny.

717 BC- Romulus kills Remus in a fight in the family kitchen, but Romulus is still given sole custody of Roma, because it was in "self-defense" (in fact, Remus found out about Romulus transferring money from Remus' bank account without Remus' permission, and confronted Romulus about it. Romulus, in defense, stabs Remus to death). Romulus later marries Sabina, a foreign-sounding woman.

700 BC- Romulus kicks out Eturia because she was getting too pushy.

509 BC- Romulus and Sabina send Roma to Europa Preschool, where strong-willed Roma immediately bullies Sicilia and Hispania into being her friends.

200 BC- Roma begins attending Europa Elementary School and defeats the newcomers, Macedonia and Selucia. She meets the tough Gallia, who refuses to be bested, and in fact is just as wily as Roma.

100 BC- Roma meets Dacia, a cousin of Grecia, whom Roma admires. She and Dacia duke it out soon, but Dacia wins, making Roma more determined to set her place on the Eastern end of the playground.

53 BC- Rome attends Europa Middle School, where she meets the illusive Britannia, who is so tall and well-built that Rome is too intimidated by her to bother trying to bully her.

45 BC- Roma beats Gallia down, but still has trouble with Britannia.

43 AD- Roma defeats Britannia at long last.

80 AD- Roma finally gets Dacia's submission.

160 AD- Roma attends Europa High School, becomes ill with Antonine Plague.

235 AD- Roma is finally bested by Constantinople, the Bishi Good Guy, but Constantinople sees how Roma has such terrible parents and has her come live with Constantinople and his father, Constantine.

410 AD- The Visigoths beat up Roma and she loses all of her friends and the respect of the people that she had weaseled into her posse, and spends the rest of her lunch periods with the guidance counselor. THE END.

Eh? Eh? Any good? There will be more to it, and I'm thinking of with each notable ruler in the history during the time periods of this comic, she'll start to take on their characteristics, or things that happened to the rules. Julius' stabbing, Claudius' limp/stammer, Nero and Caligula's crackpot attitude, Nero allegedly burning down Rome, Commodus' God complex, etc.

:3

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, so I think I will. Inspired by the strength of the people on givesmehope.com, the next time I go to WalMart, I will bring a hot cup of tea, a paper plate of muffins, and my biggest coat to give to a homeless man that sits underneath the road light on the knoll in front of my neighborhood WalMart's parking lot. He's been sitting there for months with a sign that says "Homeless-- cannot find job", and I've always felt this ache to help him in the only way I really can--by giving him some kindness. I won't give him any money, since I don't know if he's the kind of homeless guy that would use it to buy drugs or booze, but I'll still give him the food and coat, and I'll give him a note along with it, saying "enjoy. "

There was another homeless man that sat there before him, but I think he either died, moved on, or finally found a job. I wonder what happened. I also wonder wonder if this man was the victim of this failing economy, and that makes me sad, but quite glad that he still has the determination to go out there every day to that same spot and ask for help, without being afraid of people who might hurt him, or getting kicked off of his post. I pray that he is warm tonight.

Hi-ho, all! Updates on life, ahoy!

I'm scraping along to finish my now-year-old musical, which has ten pages left for me to finish writing in between-song dialogue. Heavens to Betsy, when will it all end?!?!?!?

Ahem.

After I've finished my musical, I can begin the same process of writing dialogue and stage directions on my courtesan opera, Agostina. I'm so looking forward to that. And after that, I can start, well, everything, on my Roman opera, the unofficially named Cover Not My Eyes. In the meantime, I'm trying to finish off my poetry project, which has 28 styles left. That should take until next June to finish, at the most, if my inspiration comes back any time soon.

I'm also helping my friend Jake write a play about four friends in early '60's Liverpool, finding out about themselves as they scramble to survive in the dingy economy of the time. This is coming along easily, since I am the dialect/history adviser, and I love the '60's and am familiar with the Scouse Liverpudlian dialect.

Hm... What else, what else...? Musical, check. Opera, check. Other opera, check. Poetry, check... That's it? That seems fishy. OH! My novel. That's on hiatus, since I'm trying to find a way to make it more engaging and not so long-in-the-tongue. Yep.

I made a new YouTube video, since I'm bored: [link] Comments and ratings are appreciated.

Happy November!
It started out so nice, with the start of a screenplay with my friend, Jake. I was happy to be able to use a Scouse (Liverpool) accent for it.

Then, Tuesday came, and I began to get "saggy" emotionally, since my inspiration and will to write is nil right now. My mother is sick right now, and it's incurable, so she's gotta go through this until the end, and me as well, once I hit her age, as this thing is hereditary.

Wednesday, I had a frightening period of atheism, which I am fighting off still with vigorous prayers day in and day out. My gosh, I really need guidance in my life.

Thursday, ... THURSDAY! (KHAAAAAAN!) I had a huge ol' spat with my chatroom, WLC, over my writing style, which has been suffering lately due to a lack of inspiration, and a lack of experience with carrying out certain poetic forms. These people had the NERVE to say that I have had enough experience in writing for two years to be able to write well. Uh, no, two years is a tiny dot in a chart of experience. They say my poetry has no voice, and is just "flowery". I agree with the last one, but, well, I like writing flowery stuff. I can EMOTE better. Idiots.

Friday, I was still stewing over Thursday. I saw a burning red pick-up truck in the middle of my street. The engine overheated or something, but the whole front of it was engulfed in flames, and the paint was burned completely off of it, so it looked like The Terminator towards the end of about every movie. It was really cool-looking, but I hope the drive got out in time to be okay. There was no ambulance with the investigation team, so that means he either got out or was burnt to a crisp by the flames. I hope it is the former.

Saturday, which is today, I am STILL stewing, but I am feeling better. I got Chinese to eat today, after a long wait, and my sister was nice enough to surprise me by buying me Saawariya, a Bollywood film, while she was out at Big Lots. We watched it together, and I equate it with an Indian Moulin Rouge!, from the tone, visual quality, and slightly similar plot points. It was a meh film, but, hey, the lead guy was cute, and I got to see Salman Khan in an ugly hat. XD

Sunday is yet to come, but, I am going to a sort of "19th Century Fair" with my family. I. LOVE. THAT. PLACE. UGH.

I'm always curious as to how people view my characters, so maybe I could post the descriptions I've made of all my characters throughout out the years, have you guys chose a character (a character can only be chosen by FOUR people, then it is crossed out), and after, say, a month, you all have to hand in your drawings (or maybe poems/short stories, if you wanna look at them from an inner level) and I'll pick out ten of what I think are the "best" depictions (I'm sure they'll all rock equally).

Sound like a good idea? I know my last contests were basically ignored, so, please, if you say you'll do it, stay committed to your promise. If you don't think you can do it after a while, TELL ME, and I'll let you have some extra time, or if you need reminded I'll remind you. I have 48 characters to chose from. The prize is a week of features in my journals (I have no money to buy you guys subscriptions, tres mal).

CHARACTERS

Name: Akiyama Kazuki
Eye: Dark Brown
Hair: Black, straight
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 156
Parents: Masuko (Ozaki) (40 post-obit) and Takeshi Akiyama (30 post-obit)
Siblings: Kenjirō (26 post-obit), Akane (23, 57 today)
Birthplace: Nakatsu, Ōita Prefecture, Kyūshūjima, Japan
Birth date: March 21st, 1956 (19, 53 today)
Spouse: Monica Steen (1977-2000) (divorce)
Children: Kenjiro Robert (1978- ), Natsumi Christine (1982- ), Sara Ekiko (1985- )
Occupation: College/medical student (1974-1985), OB-GYN (1985-)

Name: Monica Judith Steen
Eye: Grey
Hair: Chestnut Brown, curly
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 178
Parents: Christine (Harrisson) (43, 77 today) and Victor Steen (44, 78 today)
Siblings: Robert (16, 49 today), Hannah (9, 42 today)
Birthplace: Hoquiam, Washington
Birth date: February 30th, 1957 (18, 52 today)
Spouse: Kazuki Akiyama (1977-2000) (divorce)
Children: Kenjiro Robert (1978- ), Natsumi Christine (1982- ), Sara Ekiko (1985- )
Occupation: High school student (1975), College student (1976-1980), Math teacher (1981- )

Name: Hannah Beatrix Steen
Eye: Blue
Hair: Chestnut Brown, curly
Weight: 80
Height: 4’0”
Parents: Christine Harrisson (43, 77 today) and Victor Steen (44, 78 today)
Siblings: Robert (16, 50 today), Monica (18, 52 today)
Birthplace: Anacortes, Washington
Birth date: April 6th, 1966 (9, 43 today)
Spouse(s): Peter Sanders (1982), Sunil Vikram Chaturdevi (1986-1992, 1994- )
Children: Sushma and Sima (1988- ), Devdan (1992- ), Rohit (1998- ), Rashmi (2001- ), Bharat (2005- )
Occupation: Student (1971-1996), PhD in Human Sciences (1996- )

Name: Robert Albin Steen
Eye: Grey
Hair: Chestnut Brown, curly
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 180
Parents: Christine Harrisson (43, 77 today) and Victor Steen (44, 78 today)
Siblings: Hannah (9, 43 today), Monica (18, 52 today)
Birthplace: Hoquiam, Washington
Birth date: June 16th, 1959 (16, 50 today)
Spouse: Tiffany Parker (1998- )
Children: Andrew Jacob Parker (1989- ) (stepson), Tamsin Brooke and Taryn Michal Steen (2001- )
Occupation: Ghost writer (1990- )

Name: Kenjiro Akiyama
Eye: Dark Brown
Hair: Black, wavy
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 170
Parents: Masuko (Ozaki) (41 post-obit) and Takeshi Akiyama (30 post-obit)
Siblings: Kazuki (53 today), Akane (56 today)
Birthplace: Nakatsu, Ōita Prefecture, Kyūshūjima, Japan
Birth date: June 18th, 1948
Date of death: February 23rd, 1975 (26, acute diffuse panbronchiolitis)
Place of death: Nakatsu, Ōita Prefecture, Kyūshūjima, Japan
Spouse: None
Children: None
Occupation: Buddhist monk (1964-1975)

Name: Hōko Tokuma
Eye: Dark Brown
Hair: Black, straight
Height: 5’0”
Weight: 140
Parents: Nanao (Kō ) (44, 78 today) and Shigeru Tokuma (44, 78 today)
Siblings: Masami (10, 43 today)
Birthplace: Ōita, Ōita Prefecture, Kyūshūjima, Japan
Birth date: June 8th, 1958 (17, 51 today)
Spouse(s): Hideshi Itagaki (1985-1994), Michiru Itsushima (1996- )
Child: (adopted) Shintaro Shimomura (b. 1998-, adopted 2001)
Occupation: Student (1975-1983), Hairdresser (1985- )

Name: Ryūtoshi Yoshida
Eye: Dark Brown
Hair: Black, straight
Height: 5’0”
Weight: 150
Parents: Kikue (Yamade) (37, 71 today) and Tsuyotoshi Yoshida (37, 71 today)
Siblings: None
Birthplace: Kumamoto, Kyūshūjima, Japan
Birth date: January 14th, 1957 (18, 52 today)
Domestic partner: Yoe Michita (1986- )
Children: None
Occupation: College student (1975-1980), Bell-hop (1973-1983), Factory worker (1983- )

Name: Takehirō Tsuruki
Eye: Dark Brown
Hair: Black, wavy
Height: 4’9”
Weight: 125
Parents: Nagisa (Usui) (45, 79 toda...

LOL!Spock.

Well, I'm doing it again. I'm writing another opera (though I'm still working on my musical, other opera, and novel-thing). This time, it's set in Ancient Rome, during the last years of Julius Caesar's rule (roflcopter, I'm a broken record).

So, like, here's the cast list:
Justus Gnaeus Calpurnius- (dramatic tenor) Roman statesman who is supportive of Caesar’s decision to revert Rome into a Republic.

Domitilla Aelia Gnaea- (spinto soprano) 15-year-old niece of Gnaeus Calpurnius. Desires a powerful husband in the wake of her parents’ poverty (which ain't cool in Roman society).

Caecilia Secunda- (lyric soprano) Friend of Domitilla and extremely plain-faced. Laments the day she is to be arranged to marry a “stranger”.

Decimus Drusus- (dramatic baritone) Statesman and judge who despises Gnaeus Calpurnius. Wants to assassinate Caesar.

Flavius Publicius- (leggiero tenor) Cohort of Gnaeus Calpurnius; a centurion.

Lucius Pomponius- (lyric tenor) Teenaged slave of the Collatinii. Wants to marry Domitilla, but keeps it a secret. Performs Domitilla’s dirty work.

Mamercus Aemilius Lepidus- (lyric bass-baritone) Cohort of Decimus Drusus. A young statesman, naïve and unhappy in his position. Begins to turn away from Decimus Drusus.

Naevia Tertia- (dramatic coloratura soprano) Wife of Gnaeus Calpurnius, a kind and virtuous lady.

Palpellia Tullia– (dramatic soprano) Friend of Domitilla.

Song list:

Act I

Scene 1
“Victoria, Vinum, et Vita” (Decimus Drusus)
“Crack the Egg o’er Angered Statesmen” (Gnaeus Calpurnius, Decimus Drusus, Flavius Publicius)
“Hail, Hail Caesar!” (Gnaeus Calpurnius)

Scene 2
“I Hear it in the Walls” (Domitilla)
“Croak, Croak, Croak” (Domitilla and Caecilia)
“The Shadows Do Not Reach the Candle” (Caecilia)
“The Shadows Do Not Reach Us” (Caecilia and Mamercus)

Scene 3
“I Have Spoken!” (Decimus Drusus)
“The Play Has Been Performed” (Gnaeus Calpurnius and Naevia Tertia)

Act II

Scene 1
“Indian Silk and Roman Taxes” (Domitilla and Gnaeus Calpurnius)
“The Maiden Trio” (Palpellia, Domitilla and Caecilia)
“Latium’s Lullaby” (Palpellia and Domitilla)

Scene 2
“Teach Me to Turn on the Terms of my Teachers” (Mamercus and Gnaeus Calpurnius)
“Mistress, Mistress” (Lucius Pomponius)

Act III

Scene 1
“With Sword and Salt” (Flavius Publicius)
“Arise, Republic Needs You!” (Decimus Drusus)
“Dregs of Life” (Gnaeus Calpurnius)

Scene 2
“A Marriage Dirge” (Gnaeus Calpurnius, Domitilla and Chorus)
“Mother” (Gnaeus Calpurnius’ children, Domitilla, Palpellia)
“The Wax Is Waning” (Gnaeus Calpurnius)

Scene 1
“Ultimatum/The Entreaty” (Mamercus/Lucius)
“Ares and Bellona” (Flavius Publicius and Mamercus)
“A Pulpit for the Puppets” (Decimus Drusus and Gnaeus Calpurnius)

Scene 2
“To Wit, To Die” (Gnaeus Calpurnius)
“The Play Has Been Performed” (Gnaeus Calpurnius)
----
END WALLTEXT

Okay, so, this will be a more Wagnerian production than a Mozartian or Pucciniesque one, so the voices are all dramatic and loud. And this thing will be ridiculously long. XD I'm so sorry. As you can see, some of the titles are based off of Roman proverbs (except "Croak, Croak, Croak", which is from an Ancient Greek play). Wikipedia has a massive archive of Roman proverbs and saying, so you could probably pick them out from there.

It was also next to a stinky farm, and the water was a in a half-lake/half-pool, so the water was a bit grody. It went in my ears and nose (even though I plugged my nose). I guess I called out after I got back above the water, since the baptist kept asking if I was okay. Apparently, my foot went above the water, too. I remember doing neither. Either way, I'm filled with both water and the symbolic purity of Christ, now, and I feel danged great. It would be even greater if I had some hot cider.

Hi, guys. I've got writer's block again, and I'm feeling bummed today over my hip feeling increasingly tight, and it's making it hard to walk (for those who don't know, I broke my hip in 2003 and the screws the doctors put in my hip are grown over by bone, which is rubbing against the muscles in my leg--they say they can't fix it). I just need someone to give me an idea to distract me from my pain. I can't take it anymore, I need some sort of medium to help, even by a little.

Could someone give me an idea for a poem (not about my hip, please. I can never write about that)? Anything will do, as long as it's not about a freaking breakup with a boyfriend or any of that drivel. I've not experienced the dating world yet, I would not know about a breakup, certainly. Remember, I like the arts--paintings, music, poetry, etc. I also like science, history, and the social sciences.

I really don't want to slip into depression, because I feel depression is the start of giving up on your situation. I'm gonna fight this. I'd just like your support.

Sorry if this was an emo journal, but I just needed to vent my feelings somehow. I've been trying to be normal for so long, but my body can't take all this walking around I must do.

Thank you for your time.

Watched Star Trek (the film) today. Very impressed.

Though, I have a few nitpicks:
The villain was played by a bad actor, and the overall layout of him was lame (won't say any spoilers, but let's just say he was out for revenge, but the actor's carrying out of his emotions during his soliloquy entailing why he needed revenge was weak and lazily performed. And why were the Romulans depicted as bald, tattooed people? What happened to the slightly pointed Vulcan cut and wicked outfits? Lame. The Romulans were depicted in all series' as intelligent and yet warlike people, not just rabid, heavy-breathing psychopaths. They are related to the Vulcan race, for crying out loud. Kirk... Kirk was a hair-trigger bar-fighter and looked (and acted) nothing like the original mostly levelheaded '60's character. And SULU. >_> What the heck kind of casting was that? "Let's just pick any ol' Asian guy, regardless of if he even looks like George Takei or not." John Cho, good actor, yes, but I just didn't feel like he was Hikaru Sulu.

Now on to the GOOD casting. Uhura was so-so on her part. I never much paid attention to the character in the original series, so I can't say much on the actress's behalf. And the whole Uhura/Spock this was something I always thought of, but in the film, it was way too sudden. There was no warning or glances or touches. Just a bunch of random sucking of faces. Gah!

Oh, right, I'm going on to the good casting... Zachary Quinto was totally believable as Spock, and looked an awful lot like him, too, so that was a definite treat. Very good casting, on his part, especially when he was placed directly next to the character originator, Leonard Nimoy. Scotty--Uh, he was good, for how short his part was. Scottish people rock. Bones was nicely done, he looked a bit like him, and tried for his vocal pattern, which was just swell. His chemistry between himself and Kirk was very cannon. Though, I coulda done without all the direct quoting from the original series. Chekov was bloody adorable and I love how they got a genuine Russian actor to play him, it made it very authentic. :3 Nookyular wessels.

Now, the plot... The plot, overall, had many good ideas, but the ending was just plain "enh". Black holes do not explode if you fire into them, people. They just absorb what ever you shoot into them, y'know, being black holes and all. Also, you can't just get away from a black hole by simply going into warp speed. An ant doesn't escape a vacuum by running as fast as it can. In a black hole, you are stretched out in its vacuum, so if you pull against it, I'm pretty sure you'd just be sucked in or pulled apart in the black matter. And, on a last note, I coulda done without all the Spock evaluating his inner self. It was cannon, yes, but they could have executed it differently.

Now, then. Here's my grade for it:

Actors: C++ (I made a nerd funny --I really give them a B- )
Plot: C
Science (-fiction): D+
Thrill value: B- (made my asthma go wonky, eventually, what with all the excitement)
Star Trekness: B-
Overall: C+ (on the higher side of it... say, C++? Jk, jk)

Left the theater wanting to see it again, so that tells you something. Good thing I am, since my dad wants to see it, now that he's free from work this weekend. >_>

Nookyular wessels. Aye, sarrrr. Set phasers to stun. Make it so. Live long and prosper. Peace and long life... Qapla'!

Then, answer the questions that follow, but DON'T LOOK AT THE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU PICK THE CHARACTERS!

(I am gonna describe each one a little too)

1. Kazuki Akiyama - spasmodic, shy, and modernly Japanese main character in my (as thus far) one-chapter-long novel. Kinda smart, but doesn't look before he leaps.
2. Agostina di Puglisi - bubbly, annoying courtesan and main character in my opera, La Rovina di Un Cortigiana.
3. Amadora - mean, snooty courtesan in La Rovina di Un Cortigiana.
4. Otso - "wolfman" in my yet-to-be-posted poem, The Circus. A jealous and murderous brute.
5. Gurbaksh Bahadur - wisecracking and mildly rude pizzaman in my my musical, A Muzhikal. Laid back and pretty ready for anything life throws at him.
6. Terzo Cavallo - hyper, sex-obsessed opera singer in my opera, La Rovina... Pretty nice when he's not being a perverted man-child.
7. Henry Blackfox - Hero in my being-planned novel, Black Fox, in which a Native American brings his family to an all-white settlement during the Old West, and fights off his fears of being unaccepted to quell his family's. Levelheaded when he wants to be, vengeful when he has to be, he's a Rubix cube of inner conflicts.
8. Faysal - Very intelligent but depressed Arabic garbage pirate in my musical, A Muzhikal. He's a mellow fellow.
9. Terpsichori Mitropoulou - Bearded lady (and main character) in The Circus. Wise for her years, she is willing to help anyone who asks for it.
10. Ada Blackfox - Henry's wife. Sharp-tongued and matronly, she doesn't fit in with the subdued Western women around her.
11. Lila Fitzsimmons - boy-crazy teenager in my musical, A Muzhikal. Nice to those who are nice to her.
12. Aurelio di Puglisi - Agostina's father. A grumpy and greedy violinist with a homicidal streak.

1. Who would make a better college professor, 6 or 11?
Oh, gosh, if Terzo were a college professor, I can imagine a lot of beer parties during class-time. And groping of his female students. And Lila's too... ditzy. So, maybe Terzo. He'd be the "cool professor", since he'd be close to his student's ages.

2. Do you think #2 is hot? How hot?
Enh, I'm not a lesbian, but looking from a man's (or a lesbian's) point of view, maybe.

3. 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Aurelio and Faysal go on an adventure to bring music to the world with giant loudspeakers. I don't know, they'd probably get arrested for disturbing the peace.

4. What is or would be 9's favorite book?
She can't read, unfortunately. Brought up by an illiterate single mother.

5. Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
It could go either way. They've been friends since they were little, so they'd pretty much do anything for each other.

6. For whatever reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should 5 share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?
Gurbaksh, Terpsichori, and Ada... Probably Ada. They have similar personalities.

7. 2, 7, and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Agostina, Henry, and Aurelio... They could go to an Italian restaurant, since Agostina and Aurelio are Italians, and Henry likes different cultures. Aurelio wouldn't talk, he'd be trying to poison his daughter's food the entire time. Henry and Agostina could maybe talk about their significant others.

8. 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Amadora and Aurelio... Aurelio would shoot Amadora on the spot. Or maybe Amadora would turn the tables and make her boyfriend, Emidio, go in her place. In that case, Emidio would win, since he's the better marksman.

9. If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would 8 get it back?
Kazuki would never steal, but if he did, Faysal would probably break into Kazuki's house all Errol Flynn-like and demand that the stolen object be returned. Kazuki would feel bad, most likely, and return it without any commotion.

10. Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
Henry and Aurelio Find Acceptance In Society.

11. What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
Kazuki and Otso... Otso's too much of a loner to want to work with anyone, in any situation.

12. If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Henry... I think we'd get along okay. He seems nice enough, from what I've thought up, so far. I'd ask him too many questions about Cheyenne customs, though. XD That might make things awkward.<br...

Holy crap, is he scary.

Freeverse (no rhyme or rhythm) A WWI-era doughboy (infantryman) comments on his loss of sight and lower limbs during battle as he later lays in a military hospital, and must fight off the effects of shell-shock as he hears the goings on around him.

Haiku (7-5-7...) A blueberry bush.

Limerick (short humorous poem in the rhyme of A/A/B/B/A)

Makurakotoba (more like a literary term than a poetic form, it's like similes, comparing something to something else)

Monody (a poem lamenting someone's death) Yup.

Nine By Nine (invented by my good friend, fm-vorassi--nine lines of nine syllables each, like in sudoku) Well, heck, I like too many dead guys. >_< Why must they be so dead and in the past? Chopin, j'adore. George Harrison, namaskar...

Nonet (nine line poem, with the first line containing nine syllables, the next eight, so on until the last line has one syllable.) Space, the final frontier...

Nursery Rhyme (You seriously don't know what that is?) Bangles and beads, I bought them in Leeds, but the tag here says they're made in China.

Pantoum (The second and fourth lines are repeated as the first and third lines of the next. The final stanza, differs in the repeating pattern. The first and third lines of the last stanza are the second and fourth of the penultimate; the first line of the poem is the last line of the final stanza, and the third line of the first stanza is the second of the final.) Not sure, yet.

Paraklausithyron (Greek poetic theme, in which a person berates the door that separates the narrator from their lover). A man metaphorically compares himself to the door that separates him from his lover.

Petrarchan Sonnet (Rhyme scheme of C/D/D/C/D/D C/D/E/C/D/E C/D/C/D/C/D) A girl speaks of her love for a man that she sees in a painting.

Pruning Poem (a poem where each rhyme word is one letter shorter than the rhyme word before. eg, "charm" rhyming with "harm", which in turn rhymes with "arm".) The genius of being drunk silly.

Psalm (biblical form, praising God). Pretty obvious what it'll be about.

Reverdie (a bucolic style from Medieval France and England) A parody of the style. Instead of Spring being personified as a lovely woman, Winter is described as an old fat man that everyone can't stand.

Rondel (two quatrains followed by a quintet (13 lines total) or a sestet (14 lines total))

Rondelet (It consists of one stanza, made up of seven lines. It contains a refrain, a strict rhyme scheme and a distinct meter pattern.) The opera.

Sapphic Stanza (a stanza spanning four lines, and is two hendecasyllabic verses, and a third verse beginning the same way and continuing with five additional syllables) a woman is reminded of her long-gone trysts with her former lover as she stares at a tomato patch.

Sicilian Quintain (four lines, rhymed A/B/A/B) Easter Mass was so pretty.

Stev (Scandinavian form, where the meter is free, but the rhyme is on the second and forth lines in the quatrain stanzas) My mind is a stone, weighing me down.

Tritina (Being modeled from the Sestina, there is no rhyme scheme, instead it comprises of three stanzas using the same three words in a Sestina like pattern, and a final line which uses the three words in the starting sequence: A/B/C C/A/B B/C/A A/B/C) Did you know the conquistadors tricked the Native Americans into catching smallpox by giving them infected blankets? People suck.

Virelai Ancien (a chain rhyme, where the long lines of each new stanza rhyme with the long lines of the preceding one, and the short lines of the final stanza rhyme with the long lines of the first one) Walking on a snowy day through a park.

Utenzi (a Swahili epic form, with numerous stanzas, each having the same rhyme for the first three lines in a stanza, and a rhyme on the last line that's continuous throughout the poem.)
Well, I've been happily busy lately, planning my opera, trying to write poems, trying to write my musical choreography, and aaaaall those portraits... Now I'm gonna write a cheap dimestore, Lifetime Movie-ish novel. Here's what I got for a wee summery, maybe for the back cover: "June Helen Myllair is a lonely Massachusetts widow whose husband, Roger, loved to tend to the plants with her in their own personal garden. Having recently lost her husband of 44 years to pancreatic cancer, June’s grown lonely. She wants to feel happy again by gardening with someone, so she puts up an ad for someone to come live part-time on her estate, as a sort of live-in aid/gardener. Just as she is about to take the ad down after many months have passed, a teenager who only makes himself known as “The Gardener” shows up at her door one day. She at first regards The Gardener as a friend and then son figure, but her feelings gradually develop into something a bit stronger. With her husband still on her mind, can she let Roger go at last and love again? Will The Gardener accept her feelings, and return them? Only time will tell, in The Lilac Grove."

Now, I'm apprehensive about this, since the old lady's a bit pedo-ish to be liking a teenager, but in all fairness, he's of legal age, and he's almost twenty, anyway.

well, just wanted to give an update. PEACE OUT!

Well, since I have no job (still), no car, and I have no friends, I'm stuck with nothing to do all day except chat on DeviantArt, draw, write, watch the same nineteen movies over and over again, and read.

Soooooo, in light of nothing else to do, I shall list my drawings/poems I have yet to create:

Drawings-

Afzal ibn Iqbal al-Husni (a Sufi dervish)
Wangari Githongo (Kikuyu woman)
Hope-ce-iha (Oglala Sioux youth--shall be titled as his English cognate, "Handsome Smile")
Conze-tahca-iyankapi (Oglala Sioux youth--shall be titled as his English cognate, "Angry Running Deer")

Poetry-

Molossus (a metrical foot used in formal poetry. It consists of three long syllables. In English poetry, syllables are usually categorized as being either stressed or unstressed, rather than long or short.) A bearded lady falls in love with limbless man in their 20th century Russian band of sideshow freaks. Otso the Bear-Man is jealous and decides to take matters into his own hands.

Pastorela (an Occitan lyrical poem used by Troubadour singers) In the tradition of the form, a shepherdess humorously puts off an older knight's amorous advances.

Reverdie (also a bucolic style, but from Medieval France and England) A parody of the style. Instead of Spring being personified as a lovely woman, Winter is described as an old fat man that everyone can't stand.

Tritina (Being modeled from the Sestina, there is no rhyme scheme, instead it comprises of three stanzas using the same three words in a Sestina like pattern, and a final line which uses the three words in the starting sequence: A/B/C C/A/B B/C/A A/B/C) The journey of a mother through each stage of her pregnancy.

Utenzi (a Swahili epic form, with numerous stanzas, each having the same rhyme for the first three lines in a stanza, and a rhyme on the last line that's continuous throughout the poem.) May be a sequel to my Zuberi Utenzi of old: [link] [link] [link] What should happen?

And that's all I've been doing these past three months, planning and planning and planning. >_< I'M SO BORED! Next, I have ten more poems to plan, making my total of them so far, 50. Judah's peas, I'm almost halfway done with my new 100 poems and it's not even the spring yet! O.o That further proves that I have no life. I'm also trying to get my butt in gear to write that second chapter of "Swallow's Song", but I'm majorly stuck. Same with my musical songs, I can't think of how to choreograph "Goodship vs. Lilius". >_<

In further news, and I are revamping mine and 's chatroom/club, *WickedlyLoquacious. Lots and lots of crap that needs to be done. I didn't get any sleep the night before last, and I'm still recovering from that today. To top that off, I had to babysit three hyper kids for 13 hours straight yesterday, with my sister. I was soooooo tired at the end of the day. My chest hurt and my heart was working overtime.

Friend slept about three hours after we came home. And slept. And slept. Yaaaaay. D:< STOP SLEEPING SO MUCH, YOU'RE RUINING OUR HANG OUT TIME! SERIOUSLY! Tried to write and failed.

Sunday: Friend went home as soon as everyone in the house was up. There was much weeping and gnashing of teeth. Not really, but I was ticked that she and I didn't do much during her stay. Football came on, Steelers won (big whoop, it's football). Still trying to write, I hope I don't fail. Sisters watched Monsters, Inc. Got my hair straightened by younger sis. Counted out my money in my piggie bank and added it up to my wallet money. I have 47 dollars and 97 cents, in all. Straight Marriages Are Valid Because They Produce Children

So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our population isn't out of control, our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously Gay Parents Will Raise Gay Children

Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay Marriage Is Not Supported By Religion

In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children Can Never Succeed Without A Male And A Female Role Model

Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay Marriage Will Change The Foundation Of Society; We Could Never Adapt To New Social Norms

Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Repost This If You Think LOVE Makes A Marriage!
