It's faulty photographic-like, Stuff will stick in there, but I won't be able to place it and it will just float up at times.

Thanks for the feedback, it's what I was looking for!
Sorry I had to ruffle so many feathers to get it.
Apologies again, but it did cover the reason why I wanted to post the progress picture in the first place.

It's that time again; at least for me. I still don't know if there is a day for this already in use--if not, there should be--but I figured this one was appropriate. I'm not sure how many people see this here on my DA page, if any; but I usually post it wherever I can.

Five years ago--this 20th of December--I lost my mate, the love of my life...my soul. As she was driving home to be with her family and relatives. Her car was hit by a drunk driver coming off a freeway in LA. The car was totaled and rolled several times; her parents, baby sister and herself were killed.

This is why the 20th is the date I pick for this. If at some time on the 20th, you could take some time out of your busy holiday schedule, maybe just a moment or two, to stop and give a moment in remembrance for those who've lost their lives in car accident and are not blessed enough to be spending the holidays with their loved ones. I also ask that you keep in mind those that are not able to be with their families this holiday season for other reasons--be it illness, lack of transportation or duty. A moment of silence, lighting of a candle, prayer--if that is your way. It doesn't have to be time consuming--maybe while you're at a stoplight--just...something.

I know I have no right in asking this of any of you, intruding in your holiday, time with friends and family; but I feel that it's needed, must be done, for those that it affects. So please, just a moment, a thought, a prayer, a gesture. And maybe even ask the people you know as well; post this on or something.

Thank you for, at the very least, taking the time to read this.
Fare thee well, keep thyself and thy kin shielded from harm and be merry.

When will things be reset I wonder? I mean, there has to come a point in time where everything thats is possibly conceivable, has been conceived. Will things just be reset? or will 'originality' become some vestigial term. Things do invariably become more and more coincidental the more and more times they can have possibly happened. It just so happens that the first person to have it out gets all the credit and everyone who succeeds him must tribute to said forerunner.

I draw because it's probably my last escape, my last relaxing action--listening to music and writing being a close second. It's escape from the hectic cycle of work, school and a great escape from my failing body. That being said, I really don't have much time for it, so whatever I sketch up usually endures several months of loneliness before advancing to the next level.

Of the many things that have taking up my 'arting' time, have been some reference drawings; namely side mug/profile shots. I just got comfortable with posting two of said works, feeling that they had progressed to such a point where they were acceptable as completed pieces--about eight months of work. Less than a day later, I've got notes from four people all individually claiming artistic jurisdiction and infringement.

I know that there is a patent for cardboard and steel; but what about even more broad categories, like poses? Can I not look at something from it's right without having to pay royalty to someone? I wonder if there is a patent pending on the circle, the triangle and the color orange. Or should I give up the tools I've been learning--Photoshop, Painter X--lest my works turn out with a line, or coloring pattern reminiscent to that of the several other million purchasers of the programs; those numbers do not take into account the pirates. Y'har.....

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I see art is very much like the battle of religions. The more you have following you, the safer you are. Safer from accusations of infringement, safer from people encroaching on your territory, or establishing a rival faction; with so many eyes on your side, it's hard for something to slip by. But if you're on your own, the minute some similarity registers in someone's mind, that little klaxon bursts to life and their tail wags in the feeling of pleasing their god by reporting such theft--and it spreads like wildfire (or E. Coli on room temperature Canadian Beef, take your pick). I assume it sounds something like the "SPY! SPY! SPY!" chant of TF2; or the seagulls from Finding Nemo. So soon the area is alerted and no cardboard box can hide you from the mob searching for you.

So it comes down to whoever has the bigger following, wins. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the Death Kool-Aid and the Halebop comet, but, the biggest group is not always the best--religious or not. I'm sorry that that's incredibly vague, and I'm not exactly sure what it means....but I mean it.

The problem is that is that everyone must find their own uniqueness, not someone else's; something that is totally their's, 180 degrees from everyone else, totally out there. The quandary is that there are only 360 degrees available. Unless someone tore a space hole that I'm oblivious to.

I open the floor, talk amongst yourselves.

Two, I guess, relatively Eastern class dragons, though they had pairs of small crystal like wings. And one was a small baby, on the left side; the bigger one on the left. I believe that they were in a field.

This is gonna be one of those things that keeps bugging my until I find it,, like some songs, so any info would be appreciated.
