My friend ~kharmachaos joined dA a couple of days ago.

So I did start middle school at the end of August, and it's certainly not as bad as I thought. Though some of the eight graders, of course, refer to us as "sevvies." (I think of them as eighties, hee hee)
I hav P.E. as first period, though, which sucks for me because I get tired early in the morning. But hey, at least I get things out of the way.
I do like pretty much all my teachers... minus my Social Studies one. I have Tech Prep as my elective (my science teacher teaches it). While would have chosen Art or CAD 3D, Tech Prep is cool because we get to make cars and robots and use Legos.

I joined the most awesome-tastic game called FreeRealms. And it really is Free Realms. You can do anything from zooming in to exploring the places you we not meant to go. Or maybe you were. It is FreeRealms, after all.

On a.. slightly happier subject, no more suscription! Hoo-ray... eh... yeah.

But I never DID tell the tale of my wonderful time at my dad's...
Well we mostly swam and whatnot.
But we saw the newest Harry Potter film with my dad and several other family membrs.
Fun. They certainly did better job on the sixth than on the fifth. *shudder*

School will be starting later this month, and I am not excited. I miss kindergarden when homework involved cutting things out of magazines
But now I'll be heading into middle school. Multiple teachers. More challenging homework. Twilight posters in the cafeteria.
They have real food at least.

Apparently I can never decide on designs for my characters, because I've re-designed almost every single one.
I don't have a scanner, so I can't scan anything, so maybe I'll just take nice lower quality pictures with my mom's camera which we can't quite figure out how to use.

She has a cut on her flank. It doesn't appear to be that bad, because she can put weight on it. She's even walking around the house and jumping onto the bed.

Missy is such a brave, strong girl. She let us check out her cut and even apply alcohol to it.

The only problem is that she's an outside cat... and we don't have a litterbox for her... and I don't think she wants to go inside. She deserves so much more than this, for she is just the sweetest thing.

I should of made a journal a while ago, but I'll make up for it.

I've adopted a stray cat. She's and almost white longhair with dark brown/black ears and tails, and piercing jade green eyes. Never have I met a cat as sweet as her. She'll lay on my lap, give me the lovey eyes, reach up to my face... and she sleeps with me. It's so cute. My mother and I have named her Missy.

I know I've reached a bit of a dead point in my art, but I'll try and catch up. I've got a few good pictures I'm working on.

Another thing: Swine Flu. (No, I'm not going to start freaking out about it and telling people we're going to die.)

36,000 people die each year of influenza, and does that make the news? No. We have a teeny tiny little outbreak of Swine Flu, an illness that is less dangerous than influenza, and does it make the news? Yes. Hear me out if you're worried about the Swine Flu: There is nothing to worry about.

A lot has been going on in Animal Crossing. I dumped Cecile and Octavian and made a new character, Sage2. (okay, well, sage) I gave her a red 'fro and a clown nose.
All of the villagers I'd named before have moved out except for Alfonso. I now have Antonio, Ruby, Limburg, Rhonda, Rowan and Portia.
I did have Savannah, Nibbles, Roscoe and Frobert at one point.

If you live near Barnes & Noble or any other bookstore with a wide variety, I recommend, no, command you to get one book: Tunnels.

I'm done with The Hobbit and am in the process of reading Tunnels. It was funny, because this morning I was reading it when the kid next to me said,

Ahh... it is so fun to mess with the minds of my fellow classmates.

My conclusion: TWILIGHT SUCKS

I can pretty much put the book together. Let's see...

Bella, a completely normal teenage girl, moves into a town and meets the beautiful, SPARKLING, breathtaking, glorious, handsome, godlike, amazing, stunning, heavenly, SPARKLING, seraphic, perfect, magnificent, dazzling, graceful, hot, statue of Adonis, sexy, captivating, SPARKLING vampire Edward Cullen who stalks her for about a month. When tons of GUYS ask her to a SADIE HAWKINS dance, she refuses and says she's going to Seattle. Edward, who she barely knows, offers to drive her there and she agrees. Then Bella somehow comes to the conclusion that Edward is a vampire.

-He sparkles in the sunlight
-He can read minds
-He's pale

Then the two fall in love and the rest of the story is about how beautiful and gorgeous and SPARKLING Edward is, until page 372 when a plot is revealed.
Some other vampires, who aren't flawless and beautiful and SPARKLING like Edward come and beat Bella to a pulp, when, suddenly - DA-DA-DA, Edward swoops in and saves her.

THE END (until the next book, that is)

Sorry if I left out a few things, like how amazing and perfect Edward is, but I've never read the book. And I don't want to.

But what bugs me most is the message this book is sending to girls.
We AREN'T dependent on males.
NO guy is perfect.
Edward is NOT going to appear in the middle of the night and whisk you off your feet.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go buy a copy of Twilight and burn it.

After I got off my flight, I discovered my dad wasn't there to pick me up. SO I was sat down in a stool and waited, and waited, and waited, until I started to freak out and some lady took me down to someplace quieter. Where that place was, I don't know, because on the way I found my Dad. It turn out he had to stand in line for 2 hours until someone finally brought him up to the check in counter, and by that time my plane had arrived.

After we went home and I greeted my cat (who is just gargantuan, I mean really, her belly is about 4 inches from the floor), we set out to do last-minute Christmas shopping (mostly for me, actually) So I got Animal Crossing: Wild World, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (darn you, Snape!), and Queste. Since we were going down to see my nephews and brother, and it was Christmas time, we also had to get them something. According to my brother, they all wanted Guitar Hero (world tour), which I thought would be a terrible game. So the next day we bought that, and on Christmas Eve we set out for my brother's.

The traffic was nuts, but luckily we only got stuck a couple of times. After checking out our motel room (which was filthy and didn't have any shampoo in the showers) and grabbing a bite to eat, we arrived at my brother's house. I discovered that I had gotten some things, Anne of Green Gables, Yoshi's Island, and a gift card to Target. So I hung out with my nephews after that and watched them open most of their Christmas presents (except guitar hero).

Ooh, I forgot to mention they have the pretties cat, Kirk. He's a Siamese Lynx point and is just absolutely stunning...

*ahem* So, on Christmas day we went back and watched my nephews open up Guitar Hero. They exploded. So for a while there I just watched them play it, but then I started to feel left out, so I asked if I could play the drums. Well, I did, but it was on beginner. Boring. So I tried the guitar on beginner. Still boring. So then I switched to easy... MUCH more satisfying. I'm best at the base, but I'd have to say singing it the easiest. The drums absolutely kill me.

After saying good-bye and heading home (I finished Harry Potter 6 in the car, the ending made me cry), I got a few more Christmas presents. Some clothing, including a nice blue sweater/jacket, some new shoes (which I desperately needed), and Silverwing and Darkwing, two books by one of my favorite authors, Kenneth Oppel.

When i got back home I discovered that my mom wasn't there, either, but she turned up much faster than my dad. I ate at Subway again and returned to find even MORE presents waiting for me: And electric pencil sharpener, 72 No. 2 pencils, 4 erasers, graph paper, 5 drawing pads, and two more DS games, My Sims and My Sims Kindgom. I've never gotten this many presents in my life (because my wishlist never has more than 4 things on it).

Whew, now that that's over with, I can do something I've been waiting to do for a long time.....

Really, people. Saying "Happy Holidays" does not take anything out of Christmas. In case you haven't noticed, holidays is plural whereas Christmas is one holiday. See where I'm going with this?

Anyways, it's the first snowfall of the year, Woo! I was in the process of making a snowman, but my butt got extremely wet in the process, so I'm afraid I'll have to postpone it till tomorrow.

I saw a chicken's heart for the first time today. My mom ate it xD. Sure, it may seem odd to think of eating an organ, but hey, it sure did smell good after she boiled it. I wish I had a bite. The chicken itself is amazing, though. It is one, if not the best chicken I have ever tasted.

Starting Monday I may not be on a lot for a week. I'm visiting my dad, and although he does have a computer, I think I'd rather spend time with him. After all, I only get to see him four weeks a year.

...And that's about it. Nothing spiffy, really, I just wanted to make sure to wish you all a Merry Christmakwanzakuh in case I forgot before I left.

Hehe, speaking of Ripto... well today my friend and I were doodling on a piece of paper. I started doing random Spyro drawings, and, well.... I'll tell you what happened.

Sparx just got married to Ember and met her parents, Moneybags and Winnie the Pooh. Meanwhile, their next door neighbor Cynder was getting goosed by Spyro who, at the time, was marrieed to Flame. Above them, a six-nippled Ripto (xD) had just opened a portal so Old Spyro and Elora could watch it happen. Behind him, Crush and Gulp had decided to leave Ripto and become Sumo Wrestlers. Behind them, Sgt.Byrd was eating Sheila's face while Bentley attempted to make out with Agent 9.

...Uh huh, that's what happens when I'm bored.

I also discovered a new author I like, Peg Kehret (and Pete the Cat). I got The Stranger Next Door and loved it, so I might be getting Trapped.

Gas prices went down again to $2.18 or so.

Um, I also think I've become obsessed with the teletubbies now. xD I mean, their sun is a giant flaming baby head, they live in a bomb shelter, they have a pet vacuum cleaner, their sprinklers talk to them, AND they have televisions implanted in their stomachs. What more could you want?

I while ago I made a new fan character called Cecile, which means "blind." She's a bat. ^^

I miiiiight not be on for a while in December. I'm going to visit my dad, and possibly get my baby teeth pulled. Yaaaay.... my teeth are awful.

I have loved Spyro ever since I was six. The first game I played was Year of the Dragon and the first game I owned was Season of Flame. Although I do like TLoS, Spyros 1, 2 and 3 will always be better, in my opinion.

I'm a huge cat lover, as you may have guessed. Servals and Siamese cats are my favorite kinds of animals. Now, don't get me wrong, I like dogs too, but I have one thing to say about wolves. THEY ARE WAY TOO OVERRATED. Some people talk about wolves as if the whole world revolves around them, and I've gotten very annoyed by this. I would like them more if there weren't so many darn fans. I have nothing against you if you do like wolves, though.

I'm an atheist. I do not like organized religion. And if you hate me just because of this, then you have serious issues. If you don't, that's good, because it means you don't judge someone because of their religion and/or beliefs.

I love to read. My favorite books and series are Warriors, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Sammy Keys, The Tale od Desperaux, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, His Dark Materials, Septimus Heap, The Underland Chronicles, and the Enchanted Forest Chronicles.

Well, I'm impatient. After my last depressing entry, I wanted to talk about some happier subjects.

First of all, IT'S THE WEEKEND! WOOHOO! Second, gas prices went down again! $2.39 here, and $1.89 where my sister lives!

Today I got two books from my book order: Seekers: The Quest Begins and The Stranger Next Door. I haven't read them yet, but I hope they're good. I'm nearly done with The Amber Spyglass and let me just say one thing: THE MULEFA ROCK! There. I said it.

I've been having some strange dreams lately, so I think I'll share some of them with you.

Spyro Related Ones:

1. Moneybags fell in love with The Sorceress(xD)
2. The Dark Master was a horse riding on a horse
3. Spyro, Sparx, Hunter, and Bianca got abducted by aliens.
4. I was given the task of teacing Spyro how to prank someone.
5. Hunter turned into a human.
6. I was on a gameshow called "Throw the Warthog at Bianca"
7. Spyro met Crash and Crash was a hillbilly.

Other dreams:

1. This girl I didn't know came to my house and dropped off this box full of frozen baby scorpions. When they thawed, they all had my cat's head. Now, my cat's a girl, but when one of them spoke they had a deep guy's voice. Later, they all came marching into my livingroom with hats and briefcases. Suddenly, Patrick (from spongebob) appeared on my couch and told me to wake up. I think that was the weirdest dream I've ever had.

Eee, I'm listening to freqrexy's remixes of Spyro music. THEY ROCK!

Also, you guys can be sure to see more art on the way now that it's the weekend. I'm working on one of my fan character, Sade. I'm planning to do pictures of the rest of my fan characters, too: Chubb-Chubb, Reah, Super Chicken, and Bessie the Magic Cow. I've also got a few other pictures in mind. I'll probably draw my top 5 favorite spyro characters, too. Spyro, Elora, Bianca, Sheila, and Agent 9.

..There was something else... come on brain, think. Think. Think. Think.... it's not thinking.

Oh yeah! Hey, does anyone else besides me think that Spike looks like a really buff Elora morphed with Ripto? I mean, he's got the same horn.. and he DOES kind of look like a faun.. kind of...

Joking. I'm not a complete noob... one of my friends has an account on here, so at least I know some things.

Okay, so some of you may know me from Spyroforum, which is the only website I have an active account on. I know, I really need to get a life, huh?

The reason you won't be seeing any hand drawn art is because my scanner sort of... died. So, all you'll be seeing from me are pictures made on photoshop. Nothin' fancy.

For those of you who even bothered to look at my mood, yes, I'm worried. There's supposed to be an earthquake... somewhere on the San Andreas Fault that's close to me. Sort of. Normally I wouldn't be worried, but it's supposed to be big. Of course, I don't know ALL the facts and, well, neither do the people who predicted the earthquake. But I'm still kind of worried. At least I know a few people who've been in big earthquakes before, one of them being my dad. And there's supposed to be this huge earthquake drill tomorrow. AND my mom's going to prepare an earthquake kit, so I'll probably be okay.

Phew. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's move on to a happir subject: GLOBAL WARMING! Yaaaaaay! *claps*

Well, today at school my class watched a video called "An Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore. I found it to be really interesting, but also really sad. I always thought of the phrase "Off the charts" to be.. well... just a phrase. Apparently, it's not when you're talking about global warming. -_- Man, I wish Al Gore had won... but it had to be Bush... *sigh*. Well, no changing that. Hopefully Obama will do SOMETHING about it.

Alright, NOW onto a happier subject. For real this time! Gas prices went down to $2.49!!! WOOHOO!!! *dances*

Oh, and while I'm on the subject of gasoline, I thinkn you should all check out this song by Enter the Haggis. Best Celtic band ever.
