It's been so long since I've last been here, and active. Life has exploded on me. Between my hectic job, the double major, making up my incomplete, and my SO, creativity lately for the past half year has kinda been forced to the back seat. And it seems that lately my muse has been on a permanent hiatus, sadly. I got a new computer tho! Sad tho, can't use the freeware graphics program I used to use (Paint.net) Anyone have suggestions of freeware programs compatible with a Mac? Anyway there were so many faves, comments, and watches since I've last been here that I can't possible reply to them all. But they are muchly appreciated! I heart you all!

OMG my life has literally up-chucked itself on me (in good way...I think anyway...)I am now so incredibly busy between my double major (unofficial, still have to declare Psych), my RA-ing, my 2nd job, my girlfriend, and now my service fraternity APO...

I am having Sarah Palin nightmares. I dreamt last night that she was a member of a club where they rode snowmobiles and wore the claws of drowned and starved polar bears around their necks. I have a particular thing for Polar Bears. Maybe it's their snowy whiteness or their bigness or the fact that they live in the arctic or that I have never seen one in person or touched one. Maybe it is the fact that they live so comfortably on ice. Whatever it is, I need the polar bears.

I don't like raging at women. I am a Feminist and have spent my life trying to build community, help empower women and stop violence against them. It is hard to write about Sarah Palin. This is why the Sarah Palin choice was all the more insidious and cynical. The people who made this choice count on the goodness and solidarity of Feminists.

But everything Sarah Palin believes in and practices is antithetical to Feminism which for me is part of one story -- connected to saving the earth, ending racism, empowering women, giving young girls options, opening our minds, deepening tolerance, and ending violence and war.

I believe that the McCain/Palin ticket is one of the most dangerous choices of my lifetime, and should this country choose those candidates the fall-out may be so great, the destruction so vast in so many areas that America may never recover. But what is equally disturbing is the impact that duo would have on the rest of the world. Unfortunately, this is not a joke. In my lifetime I have seen the clownish, the inept, the bizarre be elected to the presidency with regularity.

Sarah Palin does not believe in evolution. I take this as a metaphor. In her world and the world of Fundamentalists nothing changes or gets better or evolves. She does not believe in global warming. The melting of the arctic, the storms that are destroying our cities, the pollution and rise of cancers, are all part of God's plan. She is fighting to take the polar bears off the endangered species list. The earth, in Palin's view, is here to be taken and plundered. The wolves and the bears are here to be shot and plundered. The oil is here to be taken and plundered. Iraq is here to be taken and plundered. As she said herself of the Iraqi war, 'It was a task from God.'

Sarah Palin does not believe in abortion. She does not believe women who are raped and incested and ripped open against their will should have a right to determine whether they have their rapist's baby or not.

She obviously does not believe in sex education or birth control. I imagine her daughter was practicing abstinence and we know how many babies that makes.

Sarah Palin does not much believe in thinking. From what I gather she has tried to ban books from the library, has a tendency to dispense with people who think independently. She cannot tolerate an environment of ambiguity and difference. This is a woman who could and might very well be the next president of the United States. She would govern one of the most diverse populations on the earth.

Sarah believes in guns. She has her own custom Austrian hunting rifle. She has been known to kill 40 caribou at a clip. She has shot hundreds of wolves from the air.

Sarah believes in God. That is of course her right, her private right. But when God and Guns come together in the public sector, when war is declared in God's name, when the rights of women are denied in his name, that is the end of separation of church and state and the undoing of everything America has ever tried to be.

I write to my sisters. I write because I believe we hold this election in our hands. This vote is a vote that will determine the future not just of the U.S., but of the planet. It will determine whether we create policies to save the earth or make it forever uninhabitable for humans. It will determine whether we move towards dialogue and diplomacy in the world or whether we escalate violence through invasion, undermining and attack. It will determine whether we go for oil, strip mining, coal burning or invest our money in alternatives that will free us from dependency and destruction. It will determine if money gets spent on education and healthcare or whether we build more and more methods of killing. It will determine whether America is a free open tolerant society or a closed place of fear, fundamentalism and aggression.

If the Polar Bears don't move you to go and do everything in your power to get Obama elected then consider the chant that filled the hall after Palin spoke at the RNC, 'Drill, Drill, Drill.' I think of teeth when I think of drills. I think of rape. I think of destruction. I think of domination. ahem...*coughs* sorry bout that there, but i just couldn't contain my excitement! My fellow Ozians, I have now offically been touched by Idina Menzel! I psudo-rushed the stage during Gorgeous (fake last song) to give her my gift! An awesome bracelet with a pattern i recently just mastered! Put it in a cute lil purple box and tied it with green ribbon. Will post the pics of it sometime in the near future!

The concert itself was fabulous! She did a bunch of her new stuff, some of her old stuff, Wedding Days sctick (of course lol...), cover of BH's Embraceable You, the end part of Another Day, annnnnnnnnnnnd the most awesome version of Roxanne! it was freakin awesome!

Stood in line for like two hours with the other throngs of people. She eventually came out, and things were going fine and it looked like my Grimmerie was to be a happy camper (me as well) when some stupid crazy-ass rabid fangirl chick decided to arbitrarily scream and flail.

Not surprisingly, Idina cut the signings at the stage door short. I don't blame her really, she must be exhausted; performed in the Go City yesterday and drove all the way here only to perform again...

People were soooooo rude...why couldn't we all just form a nice line huh? tell me that! They shoved cameras in her face and crowded and surrounded her when she began to leave! And the stupid girl wailed enough and Idina signed her book just to shut the damn thing up...but she'd had enough and I don't blamer her one stinkin' bit!

I hope all you guys out there planning on going to her concert will be more courteous than the ones that were here...they punished everybody by getting out of control...she may be famous, beautiful, talented, and IDINA-FUCKING-MENZEL...but she's not a commodity to be leered at and rushed at! She's a person...a talented person...an exhausted person trying to keep her fans happy. She can't do that if you are rude, discourteous, and stupid.

Let it be known that I just as the rest of you all love her too,
and those that got there autographs and pictures by cutting in line suck...I had the chance too...and did for about 30 seconds...and then went back to my place in line. I somehow naively figured that if one person did it others would too...and that I would break the chain. Maybe that's really naive and all...and did lose me my autograph but i do hope that i did my part in saving Idina's sanity.

I'm very sad and dissapointed because this was my one chance to get mine...and i missed it...because someone ELSE blew it...

I doubt that she will be back here...especially in a little theater like tonight...they say that she is on the rise in the pop world.

I wish her the best of luck...but will miss MY IDINA...the crazy amazing indie Broadway Chick...

So stay calm and dont think that just because you love her to death that no one else does...

Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir...but it made me mad and sad...

I assume myself lucky to have been touched by her for a moment and to see her in person less then 50 feet away, in such a small venue. And I hope that my humble gift lets her know in some small way how her music and voice have touched my spirit.

It's been awhile since I posted a "real" journal. That is one not a meme or short of sort. Hard to imagine but I feel myself growing up. It's an almost tangible sort of tingle, strangely enough. I'm moving out of my humble (extremely humble) abode in two weeks where I will begin preparing and completing my RA training. Strange to know that I will be in charge of students. Odd...very odd feeling in fact.

I've been having odd sorts of pulls on my biological clock lately. Strange considering I've got plenty of time ahead of me. But the longing I feel every time I pass a cooing babe, only leads me to long for that which must come before it. A life partner. Which of course only naturally leads me to the thought of the ceremony which pre-occurs to that.

A wedding. I've been wondering for a long long time how that works, if you are marrying you're same sex. Strange as it is...as liberal and up with the times I am, I want a traditional wedding. You know the whole white dress bit, and vows...and my father giving me away. But I am curious as to how the logistics work out. Especially with the clear cut parts based on sex in play. Can there truly be two brides? Who walks down the aisle? Can both parties where dresses (or tuxes). And in my faith...the man breaks a glass (in a paper back of course heh) with his foot. Who would do that?

I guess I wonder if I can still have all that tradition without...well being traditional. A paradox of sorts for me to wonder. And....as for children...how are parents listed on birth certificates? Two mothers...two fathers? What if the egg came from one woman....was implanted in the other and she bore the child....who legally is the mother? And....so many questions.....

Life gets complicated when you come of age...and i think that mine will have added complications...i know it in fact...

Just something to ponder I suppose....

God I love Summer! Going on vaca with my mom and sis tomorrow yay!

My mom got the apartment she was hoping for so now we all have to pack up our random crap and spent hours today moving all the boxes out of her storage locker *will be a bit sore tomorrow...*

I've made a crap-load of trip CDs to keep our ears happy (14 so far and going strong). Should be a good time i think!

Don't really have much to say actually...hopefully this journal will post because the last two did not and my guess is that they are swirling through cyberspace lost in its bowels forever, perhaps to be discovered by some remote extra-terrestrial species who will then be thoroughly confused.

My new obsession (brought to "you" by C)is Weeds. The show is absolutely fabulistic! I definitely recommend it to you guys!

Wow...it's been so so long since I've lived my online life at all. Being incredibly sick will do that to you.

So after last time I updated, I took a huge ass turn for the worse and had to be admitted into the hospital for a week. That sucked....have bruises all over my arms from stupid under-qualified nurses jabbing IV's and needles into my arms.

I can't believe the incompetence of some people...who are supposedly trained for this occupation...

One nurse actually took off her gloves and didn't even swab me with alcohol before sticking me....and the kicker: another nurse tried to tell me that my antibiotic was pain medicine...I was like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh noooo crazy lady...

But there was one great and fab nurse, Beth, who rocked and kept stealing me ice cream from the kitchen (believe me hospital food sucks....the pureed (sp?) broccoli speaks for itself.

But now I'm out and slowly working my way up to solid food. Actually ate spaghetti yesterday! yay! Major Major Feat For ME!

Missed my cousin's wedding, very sad because i wanted to see that side of the family

Sad though because I'm supposed to be contagious for a month which means i can't go out east for my cousin's graduation anymore (it was gonna be a little family reunion). Mom and I are now re-planning our road trip for later this summer and hopefully we'll get to see them along with my sister.

She started grad school a few days ago and loves it yay!

Sigh...had to quit my job because I work with kids, and keep getting sick....not to mention I'm contagious. Don't think my immune system could deal with another virus like this last one.

Also will have to take an incomplete in my creative writing class, and finish it summer semester, which means i'll have to drop my quantitative methods of psych class because the times coincide, but i don't want to have to make it up in the fall.

So I'm sorta banished to the basement. Keeping pathogens in one area is the idea...my mom has been amazing and nursing me back to health and has yet to get sick so I'm hopeful that she won't.

So clearly my artwork and writing has taken a backseat to my health lately. I am hoping to get back to TUS very very soon. But in the meantime i need to regroup my strength.

I've lost 15.5 in the last 3 weeks man! 3 from dieting but the rest is from simply not eating! So at least SOMETHING GOOD came out of this fiasco.

Been just keeping it low key. Watching a LOT of tv and movies lately! heh....all six star wars in 2 days...i mean heh that's a liiiiiiiiitttle sad man.

And OMG! The Grey's Anatomy Finale! wooooooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooo for the lesbian goodness on main-stream network television! yay!

Sorry I've been absent so long. I am incredibly sick. Thought I had mono or strep for a bit...but it's some nasty viral thing. I've had a fever (highest at 103) for days and my throat kills. There are nasty ulcers down my throat and on my uvula and it so so hard to swollow. Got so dehydrated yesterday that i had to be admitted into the ER so they could give me a saline drip. I felt better for a bit cuz they gave me pain medicine. But now I'm basically back to feeling crappy and not being able to swallow...it sucks...and is kinda scary. I've been attempting to eat ice cream, frozen cokes, popsicles, jello, and soup, and of course water. Not going so well; everything burns. Plus the left side of my mouth and gums are all swollen and raw.

Yay! My house is no longer ghetto (well less ghetto)...I waited (alllllllllllllll day for the stupid landlord who turned out to be quite nice) who replaced our locks (on BOTH doors) completely! Got new keys and everything! And he fixed the drain which was clogged with with a nasty gross hair-wad the size of Pluto.

I went and bought food too! OMG food is fucking expensive man! I spent $60 bucks easily and that was with weaning out the unnecessary things....Gas has gotten really expensive here too! $3.69 a gallon, and of course i bought it and then the today it dropped 5 cents grrrrrrrrr....

So I walked all over ___ _____ and picked up 10 applications, which i then filled out until like 3 in the morning. Which is why i felt the earthquake (2 in one week man! that's like a total anomaly! we NEVER get them here!) rattling the floor, walls, and my stuff...it was kinda freaky. DL was cute and was worried <3 you DL....

Returned the apps the next day and picked up two more...still have to fill those out.

Now I'm home home for a few days....(had an appointment...)

I HAVE AN INTERVIEW ON MONDAY!

yay the daycare/camp on my campus (not to be confused with the one I'm living one lol) actually called me back! I applied like a month ago, thought that they had forgotten about me...yay!

Also I got a 4.0 this semester! *pumps fists in air* that makes two in a row! *w00ts*

Life seems to be going well for once yay!

Mom and I had fun today...went to a horrible horrible awful play lol it was amusing.....then we fiddled around with the guitar for a few hours...it was nice good quality time yay!

Going to see my therapist tomorrow for the first time in like geez...4 months! I've just idk not had the need to see her.....she's so awesome, she got really excited...I must be the only person who actually adores their therapist...

Well life is both at the same time incredibly busy adn good, and yet...boring a tad.

I love living in ___ _____ for the summer. It's gorgeous and cute and bohemian, but I HAVE NO FREAKIN' FRIENDS THERE! i mean my new housemates are cool and all but we all sorta do our own thing...so i guess i'll be hanging out with myself a lot this summer....that's okay though...i kinda like me...most of the time.

OMG...I am finally ALL moved in! I started yesterday at 10ish (with the help of my parents) asn wasn't done until like 5...jeez. But I'm all moved in and love LOVE LOVE my room! I have a full sized bed *swoons in happiness* and a little sun-room attached (great for storage) and OMG my closet gahhhhhhhh...has room! hee.

The girls seem pretty nice. There currently are 4 of us here now (Jaqui's on vaca so have yet to meet her; she makes five) so hopefully I won't be too lonely. Also Ben and K live not too far (about 20 min each) so hopefully I will get to hang out with them...

The house itself is pretty nice, for student housing that is...it's relatively clean inside, with a nice kitchen, living room that's furnished. But OMG! The upstairs bathroom (by my room) is absolutely revolting....the shower is black and orange with mold! I Tilxed the ass out of the shower and it's still gross! PLUS the drain clogs! So I couldn't even Soft-Scrub it last night (let alone make myself shower in it)....some Draino is in order I think! The downstairs bathroom is small but rocks! It's clean! The shower is actually white! *knocks on wood to keep it that way*...and the water pressure is awesome, so I might just always shower there lol....

Gah...in addition to the gross shower situation...the locks suck! The dead-bolt jams and won't open with the key...so now I've been waiting here ALL FUCKING day for the stupid landlord to come and fix the locks! He was supposed to be here in the afternoon, but it's 6 now and he's still not here. Called and was like "Hello! Where are you..." Wife said he was on the way, but that was a freakin' hour ago! WTF...grrrrrrrr

I am supremely pissed at him, because today was gonna be my job hunting day, but he clearly killed that...

Spent most of the day in bed because i could X ) and was constructive later and picked up all the trash outside and around the house...filled two garbage bags and there's still more to be picked-up...gah...

In other news:

Joined the free-cycle networks local to me yay! Someone was offering a scanner! man i emailed them right away! I would kill for one!

so yeah that was my day...sigh i SHOULD go soft scrub the tub now...but i don't wanna! yummmmm someone's cooking in the kitchen...sigh i was gonna go for a Meijer run for food but I don't wanna depend on my housemates to be here to let me in....so now i have only Easy Mac and Rammen....sigh joy....

Tomorrow I have a ballet practical movement final (yay guaranteed 'A' there yay) and then I'm not gonna re-take my comp test because i have a 95 in the class...so that's kinda pointless. So the only thing left is Psych on Fri! yay...

sigh.....i've gained ten pounds at the dorms...gah....now instead of needing to lose 20, i need to loose a good 30.....i hate that i'm so short that every pound shows. god really depressed today about how hard it is for me to lose weight. C always tells me that I'm perfect that way i am (which is nice mind you) but for my own personal self, it would nice, for once in my life to have a flat tummy.....

Sister is going back home today *is sad* and i'm going back up to school. Finals begin on Tuesday (though mine don't start until Wednesday *w00t*) so gah.

Despite my issue with my body and worrying about a job, life seems to be actually good:
- I've now got a place to live for the summer
- if my finals go as well as i hope, a 4.0 might be in store
- i have a fun car
- have a girlfriend
- have great friends
- AND IT'S SUMMER!
- gonna be an RA next year, which means my room/board and food is paid for (i even get the highest meal plan they offer! 3 a day and 2 on sunday....) and i get a single with my own bathroom! double yay!

so yeah...i just have to keep reminding myself that weight isn't everything (though it does feel like it)

So yay! i have a house, didn't have much time to talk about it so here i go now:
- it's a three story house not too far away from campus
- my room is on the second floor and is sooooooooooo much bigger than where i'm living now
- IT HAS A FREAKING SUN-ROOM ATTACHED TO MY ROOM!
- rent is only $300 per month (AND THAT'S INCLUDING ALL UTILITIES)
- the one housemate i met seems nice
- the bathroom is kinda moldy but eh....i can clean
- kitchen is really nice
- i get a full size bed yay! (i do like to sprawl heh)
- OMG it's air conditioned! yayyayyayyyayyayyayyay
- tons and tons of closet space! (a must)
- and two windows! good for breezes yay!
- i've officially signed the lease and paid my rent until May 26! yay, now i don't have to worry about it for awhile.

hope that all you fellow Jews out there had a nice Sedar. the sedar at my mom's was fun. everyone was nice to Cosette and i think she had a good time (she told me that she was happy to learn some "jew magic" lol) OMG my mom made sooooo much food! yay for leftover brisket and matzo ball soup for me! i was sad that my cousin couldn't come, but she's on detox from the pain medication they had her on. and she's gotten violent hallucinations when she tried to ween herself off like they told her too, so she was in the hospital so they could help her...so now she's just exhausted.

my dad's sedar was soooooooooooo disorganized man grrrrrrrrrr....and i found out that my 4-year-old sister has been diagnosed with ADD. it's noooooooooo surprise she sooooooo distracted and can't focus on anything, it's just really really young to be medicating a kid....but apparently the meds have been making a huge difference. she apparently sat down with a book for 15 mins by herself and read, that like a monumental event in the life of ______. so will have to see.

my little cousin had chosen a school to go to! yay! thank god that he's going away from his parents! i love my aunt and uncle but they are soooooooooooo controling sometimes...the poor kid still has a bedtime. it will be good for all of them, the separation that is.

so yeah...that's my current life's happenings in a nutshell.

Wow...my day yesterday was soooooo long. First I went to History, which was good! Found out I got an 'A' on that Animal Farm paper about Orwell's use of controlling and political language....so YAY! Then I went home and began to study for my comp. test (we get a cheat notecard...and wow did i write tiny.....) Picked out my interview clothes and went to Psych. Left early, ran back home to change and put on make-up.

Picked up C and went to the interview at the local JCC camp. I think it went alright, but they said the infamous line of, "We'll be in touch." soooooooooooooooo who knows.Took C out to Stake & Shake cuz i rock. Then went into ______ to look at 3 places to sublet.

#1: was in a good location, but the they were asking for $450/month NOT including utilities. And that's way too expensive and the place wasn't incredible enough to go for it.

#2: asking price was $350, apartment in a FABULOUS location, but it didn't deadbolt (a must), was kinda shady, and SMELLED LIKE ASS COVERED IN RUBBER CEMENT, soooooooo no

#3: pretty good location, little white house that looks crappy from the outside, but inside OMG, it's sooooooooooo nice. Newly re-modeled kitchen, huge double bathroom, and my room would be HUGE. Plus there's tons of storage space, and there would be two nice girls living there too. I really really like the place, and i think that i've got her down to the price of $300 plus utilities (which is like another $30). Only cons are that it's on the third floor, and theres a house under-construction next door. It's all built but it's messy.

I've also found three more place i could check out, but no one's emailed or called me back yet. Should i keep looking or snatch this place up? Opinions please!

Then I talked to fam about it and stuff...came home with C and studied until like 2AM.

Took my Comp test today, got an 84%, have a 91% in the class, so may or may-not take the retake test she offers...will have to see. Might actually pull a 4.0 this sem again! *w00ts*

THANK GOODNESS! I finished my nasty History paper on Animal Farm. I had to write about how language can be used to manipulate people for political reasons...it was an interesting topic but it took forever man! Went through like 7 edits before it was done...phfeeeeew!

Gah we had one really really nice day of summer but then it got rainy and coldish again...*pouts*

Finished another 2 applications today, so I'll have turned in 4 by tomorrow...yay! Sadly the awesome apartment I was hoping to sublet for the summer has been snatched up, but I'm not worried...the college town near ours is filled with students looking to sublet...so i think i'll be okay...i just want to get it done with so i don't have to be anxious anymore.

Don't remember if i mentioned this in my last journal but, MY CAMERA CAME! yay yay! *grins and is merry*

God...i still have so much stuff to do...

life-wise:

Well, Thank god that my homework load has begun to dwindle off! Still have some left, but I think the worst is over now (at least for a few weeks before finals start...oh the joyness)

Drove home home on Friday to get my last HPV vaccine *w00ts*...heh took me forever because any wrong turn I could have made...I did...but I got there just fine! Then went and surprised Mom at work with a Slurpee! yay we talked and then she got frazzled with the work load and I took off for Target, there's this really cute bathing suite top that I've been eying fro weeks and trying to figure out if it was worth the 14 bucks. It's this halter top bikini that's blue tie-dyed...it's soooooo pretty and lol glory be...it ACTUALLY KEEPS THE GIRLS IN! lol the popping out factor is a huge problem with me and bathing suit tops. Only downside is that the bottoms were like made for a four-year-old and don't fit. But I figure that it can't be that hard to find blue bottoms, right?

Mom and I went to din (yummmmmmm mushroom cheddar burger...mmmmmmm) and talked about stuff...it has apparently not been a good car week for the family. My sister got a flat in the middle of Virginia and had to wait forever for the tow truck. Then when they tried to fix the tire, the stupid ass people ruined the metal weel, so now she needs a new wheel. My mom also got a flat too! Plus she need new tires. And interestingly enough...my grandmother ALSO got a flat....this following story just goes to show how some businesses take unfair advantages of senior citizens:

So my grandma goes to Firestone (evil evil place...) with a flat. What should have cost her from 70 to 100 bucks cost her 260! The people there managed to get her to buy a life-time guarantee on rotating her tires every 6,000 miles. For gods's sake! the woman is 86! She's not even gonna drive 6,000 more miles in the rest of her life. In addition, they got her to agree to open a Firestone credit card (and we all know that the more credit cards you open, the more credit checks there are, and the more likely you are to be denied cards you really need.) and of course that had a fee too! Sooooooo my mom went in and reamed the out man! She's gonna report them to the Better Business Bureau or something...she said that if she had the time, she would have taken them to small claims court.

Also my suitemate's car transmission died...so you can see that I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and for something to go wrong with my car...gahhhhhh...

In other news, I'm sick. My throat is sore and I'm phlegmy...bleh. However I did get hit on the way back from the campus store. He wanted to carry my 12-pack of coke for me...lol it was amusing, flattering, and a little sexist actually...but in a weird way nice to know that I'm attractive to heterosexual men.....so yeah...

heh heh...today's my roommate's b-day and I made her the best card heh! *giggles* it says on the front: "When it comes to pleasing PUSSY..." then there's a naked woman on the front with her hands covering her crotch, and a cut out window that shows a tongue about to lick...*blush* ya...heh but when you open the card it says "You just have to know what to feed it!" and then there's a cat with it's tongue out about to eat kibble like stuff *grins* hee hee

Went on an egg hunt too hee hee...and helped dye eggs to put in her mom's egg potato salad. Wow her family owns a ton of land...like some 15 acres! And she told me that it used to be double that, but they sold it off to neighbors.

She took me on a long walk (it was nice out...and even sunny)....reminded me of camp...wow we grew up sooooooo different. She took me up into the hayloft of her grandma's barn too! First time I've ever been in a real barn...wow I'm soooo suburban *sheepish look*

heh heh...played Oregon Trail II at her house heh and beat the game heh heh...annnnnnnnnnnd played Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? lol...*grins*

Gah wow the homework load lately has been kicking my ass! But all the ridiculous studying paid off! I pulled a 93 on my Hitler exam in HIST. *w00ts* AND I GOT THE RA POSITION! On the downside...it's in the crappiest and most crime-filled dorm on campus so I'm trying to request a transfer...so will see what happens...

so yeah that's all the big new stuff with me.....

Fellow Students Who Are Constantly Vexed by Annoying Assingments:

Gah....I had the most annoying lab the other day! I had to write in HTML with all the annoying tags and such to create a website. Gah....made tons of mistakes (and anyone who has worked with HyperText Markup Language before know how one tiny tiny mistake can totally screw up your doc...took me forever to find the mistakes (forgot to 'close' the commands several times grrrrrrrrr) and then and then grrrrrrr I had to upload it to my Uni's server, which meant I had to download a program that facilitated SFTP...and then I had to figure out how to connect to the server and upload the crap while dealing with my PMSing wireless internet connection here in the dorm....it took FOREVER man!

Plus I had to pick up an assignment from a prof's house nearby, mapquested the directions but all the f-ing streets weren't marked! Plus it was dark out! took me a long time to make my way there....then had to interview a couple and write a paper...did that today.

Still have to write my RA essay...due on friday at the workshop. Have to study for a history test on Fri too. I've been quite horrible about going to class lately, so i mooched a bunch of notes from people.

Drew an Elphie sketch while in Psych...quite happy with her face, tho her body is unproportionate...kinda looks like the illustrations on the Alice in Wonderland book....colored with pencils and it looks a tad better. Then actually used a pic as reference on another elphaba pic and the line art looks fabulous (if i do say so myself!) yay! gonna fiddle with it and color and stuff....

My Fellow Cold People in Mid-West America (or other cold places heh...):

OMG it is sooooooooo feakin' cold and nasty out right now! C and I went to have din with my sis so they could meet each other (yummmmmmm Chinese) and they got along quite well so yay! But during din it started snowing pounds! The roads on the way home were horrible and I was skidding ALLLLL over the place! And it's like 23 degrees out, but with the wind-chill it's really like 9 *brrrrrrrrr-full* So I drove for like 45 mins (takes 20 to get home normally) at 15 MPH heh.....and then had to walk allllllllll the way back from North Lot in the freezing windy cold *brrrrrr*

Hmmmm *thinks about having some soup to warm-up with*

*note* I’m not the greatest of all sketchers but I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills! Also I will do the sketches in the order or requests received. As for time, I will try do them in a timely fashion, but I do have work over break and then I go back to school, but I WILL get them to all you guys!

In other clumsy (yet not unusually or unexpected GE news) I majorly botched my chocolate cream pie tonight, in a slightly hysterical way. Tonight in a last minute thrown together kind of a way Ruthie and I decided to make dinner and invite my aunt and uncle, my cousin Hava, and my grandma's gentleman caller (after all, i think after the age of 50 single women stop calling them boyfriends....) to a homemade dinner.

My grandma was in charge of the meatloaf and the chicken, Ruthie the mashed potatoes, and me the damn pie, and both of us the salad. So we went on a grocery run for all the ingredients. Got the frozen pie crust and Jell-O pudding and boiled all the stuff on the stove and pour it in the pie and chilled it.

Dessert time came around and I went to serve the pie (I wanted to surprise my mom so I hadn't let her see it yet) and she got the oddest look on her face, and she quietly told me to take the pie back into the kitchen for a second. Turns out that I was suppose to F-ing bake the stupid pie crust., So now what I had was pudding in raw dough. She got quite hysterical, along with me, Hava and Ruthie. So we scooped out the pudding and put it in a bowl and spread cool whip on top and sprinkled a few chocolate chip on top...somehow we manage to salvage it. But it was pretty much ridiculous that I manage to screw up such a simple recipe. Wow.....*laughs*

My Fellow Oscarians:

Hope everyone had the chance to see KC perform at the Oscars last night! She was fabulous as always! And John Stewart rocked out! *w00ts*

K, so went to a ridiculously expensive dinner for my sorta cousin's B-day tonight. She's my grandma's second husband's daughter's daughter (if any of you followed that...) Anyway the food there was soooooooooooooooo fabulous! Gah it was to die for! I got this fantastic creamy butternut squash soup with almonds on top. OMG it was like 'fun in your mouth' as i told the waiter. And for the main course I got boiled crab crusted salmon that came in a creamy white wine sauce with asparagus and fingerling potatoes...it melted like heaven in my mouth...it was so freakin' good!. yay for good for THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO EVEN PAY FOR! *ecstatic w00t-ing*

Also last night I had a major brain spill and wrote a bunch more of The Untold Story: Part 5 (if anyone is still reading...) so yay...i feel productive.

A couple of nights ago....um wow...it was a difficult night...

My roommate has some cutting issues...she's been so good lately though...a month free of cutting! I was so happy for her, and she was happy too, had a new love interest, this girl Erin and they even kissed that night (after we all went out to play lazer tag heh to star wars music!) but later apparently Erin told her via IM that she didn't want to pursue the relationship further...

She lately has taken to pounding on the walls to keep from cutting. Not a great alternative but a bit better, usual the urge goes away for her after awhile...but that night she just kept pounding and pounding and shut herself in the bathroom...i was scared she was going to kill her hands....Jenny and I didn't know what to do....I finally (after much debate) called C...she was a peer counselor in high school for girls who cut. I felt horrible because she has two exams the next day...

C shut herself in the bathroom with K (who wouldn't talk to her for a whole hour)...Jenny and I sat on the couch singing Passover songs from the Haggadah...heh it was amusing...but we were just trying to distract ourselves from the problem at hands.

Somehow though, C got through to her and they talked some stuff out...she was fabulous...I'm so lucky to have her as a friend, and a girlfriend...still working through my feelings though....

Kat seems to be a bit better...I was worried she would be mad at me for calling for 'help'. I just felt so helpless and I didn't know what to do. Calling the RA would just do nothing and give her another 'write-up' and bringing her closer to being kicked out of the uni and wouldn't give her the help she needs...so i called C because I knew she had dealt with stuff like this before...and she could give me a hug...

So at home for break now! *w00ts and eats Valentine M&Ms from my mommy* Going to the movies tomorrow morning! yay!

My mind is a swirling pool of color. It never stops moving; jumping from greens, to blues…to black. I think so many things; I think too much.

I had a dream about a week ago, it was convoluted but it made sense to me. I was at my old dance studio, and she was there….and she embraced me outside the neon sign, and told me she loved me…I found myself finding what I had lost, and what I will forever look for. I woke up deliriously happy for about three seconds. And then felt the horrible pain that followed as reality became apparent once more. I was in my bed and S was not here, with me.

I don’t know how to come to terms with the fact that I still…have feelings for her…deep feelings. I haven’t seen the woman in close to two years...two years…and yet still I can’t get her out of my heart. How do I move on from something that never was, and can never be. Part of me doesn’t want to; she’s my solace, my fantasy, my untouchable. I keep her close to me…on my wrist, the gold bracelet with colored crystals from her is my last link.

How can I be a good person, I ask myself. I’m in a relationship with a wonderful girl, who tells me I’m beautiful and makes me laugh. And yet I still want. I long…for more, whatever that means.

We wrestled tonight playfully...and cuddled. Then I found that the bracelet that adorns my wrist ever so faithfully, was gone. My stomach dropped and all the joy I had felt seemed to dissipate, as if it had never been. I frantically looked for it…C helped me too…she might not have had she known what this bracelet means to me.

How can I be decent, when I wear this…this love on my wrist and still…still touch her. How is that right…I’m beginning to hate myself for it. She told me that she thinks she’s in love with me…I wanted to cry.

I’ve waited so long…so long to hear that from….not her. And she’s beautiful there with me, in the shower, water dripping from her hair, eyes bright and earnest. And all I could do was kiss her. She says, “You look sad…I probably shouldn’t have said that…” and I tell her that it’s always nice to hear, and it’s the truth so she shouldn’t keep it inside. I ask her to give me time, because when I say it to her…I want to mean it.

I tell her that I don’t deserve her, and that she deserves someone who isn’t as emotionally screwed up, like me. She tells me that I deserve the best. How is it possible not to love that?! How can a sane person not love that, I ask myself…I must be defective. I feel wonderfully cared for and cherished…but I want to be in love And she deserves someone who can love her back, the way she deserves. And I WANT to be in love with her…I do…I just can’t yet. I can’t let myself yet…how self destructing is that?!

Maybe time will heal…I think she knows that I need time…but how much time? How long until I’m free of this burden I carry? Free to give my heart, and open it up. Should I continue this relationship? I want to! She does make me happy…she does…she makes me smile and…be myself. But is it fair or right to? I’m trying so hard to move on; away from the past and all that holds me too it.

Maybe falling out of love is a process…and maybe you never really fall out of love with you’re first. It’s just it never was a first…it was totally unrequited and unreciprocated. She never even knew….maybe that’s part of the problem…my heart still sees it as a possibility because I never got closure. I need closure.

I’ve had so many firsts with C. We kissed in the rain underneath a full arch rainbow this weekend…it was beautiful. She was the first to make me feel sexy and desirable. I hope that someday...someday soon, I will learn to let go of my feelings so I can open myself up to her.

Perhaps I should talk about it with her…she knows that something holds me back. Maybe I can let go, if she knows that part of my heart.

HAPPY V-DAY TO EVERYONE (a day late heh)....

I hope everyone's Valentines (or Single Awareness) Day collectively were wonderful...mine turned out much better than I hoped for! I went and picked up the flowers at the flower shop (ordered like a week ago)...someone put in my order as peach instead of orange and I didn't like them so i switched to red....Surprised C after her tap class! Think she really liked them....hung out with her until my ballet class and ran around looking for scissors to cut and arrange the flowers with (thanks to the Nalgene for being our vase)...*grins* she got me chocolate strawberries! yummmmmmy....

Then after we had din (me in allllllll my sweaty glory heh) before her last Vagina Monologue rehearsal before opening tonight....the rehearsal ran late (6:30 - 10:30)...then I went to go hang out, fully expecting her angry kitty to be in our face all night! But thanks to Tyler (OMG we HAVE to get him something nice....like really really nice...heh that boy is an Asian God) she went to go spend the night at his place *grins*....so we had a nice romantic evening! She loved my scrapbook filled with pics for her and I made her an awesome bracelet (rainbow colors heh of course *laughs*) and she got me the 2nd season of The 'L' Word *w00ts and is excited to watch with her later!* (it's our thing lol)...had a fabulous romantic night....and woke up with the stupidest grin on my face....so yay....

Then went to History at 10 (ew i was sooooooo tired lol) and sadly enough found out that i didn't do so well on that history exam (even after like 6 hours of studying *is sad*) and got a 62. sigh....apparently i mixed up the battle of Salamis and Thermopylae in my essay...(we had a choice of 4 essays in that section...two of which were: describe the battle of Salamis/Thermopylae...) but I put down Thermopylae and described Salamis...and he took 25 points off! I don't really think that's fair...since i did show that i knew something.....I just mixed up the names...maybe i will go talk to him at office hours....sigh....guess i will just have to do really really well on the next 2 tests and and write a hell of a paper (and see if i can earn any ec in some way...) hopefully my psych test went better....

And now I'm soooooooooo glad that it's Friday! Gonna hang out with T and K later tonight to celebrate T's b-day...I'm paying for her din lol that's her present! *w00ts for shakes and cheesy fries tonight....*

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

My valentines day is kinda gonna suck...C's roommate who usually goes to T's on Thursdays is refusing to give us any alone time, because she apparently feels that I'm in vading her space. Um so basically she's screwing up my v-day out of spite! How absolutely childish and immature man! It's not even like I'm there all the time...she's f-ing insane this chick...

Also I'm going to pick up my dozen roses for C. And I'm feeling pretty insecure about them now...should have gone with the chocolates. We were coming back from din (C, me, and angry kitty insane roommate) and somehow the discussion turned to flowers. C and stupid roommate of hers were discussing the fact that flowers were kinda pointless because you buy something just to watch it die...and C agreed and said that she would rather had chocolates...so now I feel kinda horrible...I just spent 30 bucks on a bouquet of roses for her...trying to be ya know, romantic or something...and now I just kinda feel like a big ass...

Also made her this mini scrap-book of pictures of us and some friends....hope she at least likes that....

Sometimes life sucks ya know! I went to this lecture a few days ago (yeah I know I suck at keeping up...) and I was so incensed and angry and just...utterly pissed off. At my school if you are in the Honors College, you have to attend so many "Honors Experiences" each year in order to stay in good standing...so yeah I've been horrible about that so I decided to go with C and my roomie Kat to one that at least sounded interesting called, Porn Nation. It was supposed to be this guy Michael something-or-other talking about how the rampant sexual images in the media and porn today are affecting today's society. Sounds interesting right? OMG I wanted to hurt this man....he actually had the gall to bring in god into the discussion.

How inappropriate, and not to mention unethically at a PUBLIC university with all sorts of students with different cultural and religious beliefs. I am so so angry at the Honors College for APPROVING this presentation, I can't even begin to find the right words to express my outrage and utter ire at the situation. I have never been more offended in my entire life.

The man kept telling the student body that in order to 'see the truth' and rid ourselves of lies and 'in order to love others, you first must let Jesus Christ in your heart." How utterly presumptuous and arrogant for him to come to a diverse student body and tell us that we MUST believe in Christ in order to be saved from ourselves.

Now I have a healthy respect for individuals who are religious and keep to their religions' code of rules, but this...this was not right. He was PUSHING his religion on the student body, and he had no right to do that in a UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC CULRRICULUM SETTING, especially since the pretense of the lecture was supposed to be objective. I should not have to listen to someone preach at me about how we are sinners and need to be redeemed in order to get credit for Honors Curriculum!

Now since the presentation was sponsored by CRU, I figured that it would have conservative views, but hey...I'm an open person, and willing to listen...but to tell me that porn is bad because um...god says so...um I'm sorry that just doesn't fly with me...We make our own destiny in this world...and I choose to think for myself with the mind that was given to me by nature. I refuse to follow blindly in the dark after something else's proclamations with the only guiding reason being 'because he said so...' That to me is dangerous....

I have a good mind to write the Honors College an angry (but well written and still in check) letter expressing my complete displeasure.

So yeah...and to top it off...I got a 72% on my stupid computer exam after studying all night for it....sigh....hope the extra credit will make up for it...I hope...

Heh so I've just discovered a fun fun feature of having a subscription: heh if you put something in the footer.....IT COPIES ITSELF INTO YOUR NEXT JOURNAL ENTRY! This is monumental news guys heh! cuz as you can see the bottom of all my journals has gotten pretty re-donk-ulously long!

Okay...so my day was hell...but productive, so it wasn't really hell, if that makes any sense. It was more like manic!

So my manic Monday started off at 9:30 AM when my alarm went off (went to bed at 2:11 AM....uber studying man....uber....) and I shut if off. I then re-awoke to my second set alarm at 9:37 AM. Crawled out of bed, dressed, peed, washed-up, did my 2nd to last skim of history notes, bundled up (it's like 9 degrees out...guess that's better than the 2 yesterday with a windchill of -18....), walked across the street to my class (heh gotta love that)...walked up four flights of stairs (well really 8...2 for each floor, the elevator is sooooooooo slow...), picked a good seat in history class, begged a "green" essay test booklet from a fellow benevolent boy, did last skim of notes, and then wrote four essays on Greek history about 500-400 B.C.E (heh several of which were bullshited through i tell you...) including the Persian and Peloponnesian Wars.

Took a deep breath. Got a coke and a cheese bagel. Went back to the dorm to prepare for my RA interview (compiled resume info, prepared answers to possible questions...etc.). Then I took a nap for an hour and a half. Woke-up, showered, applied foundation and eyeliner, packed sweater to change into for interview (wore pants there), looked over my psych notes one last time, headed off to psych exam.

Took exam. Finished in 35 mins (fast for me...me and the nasty scantron bubbles don't mix well (lol DL nooooooooo bubble jokes there lol) cuz of my OCD and like a stupid person I forgot to give my profs the letters from the uni services that exempt me from testing like that (i usually write answers ON the actual test and an aid later fills in the bubbles)....happy about how I felt the exam went because I knew most of the material down pat.

Went to the student center. Deposited a check. Deactivated and activated my old and new uni meal plan/e-account respectively (old one cracked and worked like crapola). Ate bad pizza. Changed into my sweater in the bathroom. Redid eyelinger, made sure nothing was stuck in my teeth. Went over notes for interview. Called mommy on the way to the interview (in one of the apartment-like dorms on the other side of campus) for a pep talk and last minute do's and don'ts.....arrived half an hour early. De-bundled self in waiting room. Checked make-up and put on lipstick...started interview early....think that it went pretty well...less nervous about the 2nd one on Monday next week.

Walked the long and cold (sooooooooooooooo col) walk back...stopped to see Cosette heh and didn't really leave until 11PM. We went to din din and then hung out at her place. Tyler came by a bit later. Then she walked me home (cuz it was dark and I'm small...I lost the argument ages ago that then she would just have to walk back alone....) Went upstairs did my stupid stupid inane computer science homework from the chapter review in the book (i want to strangle the writers...the grammar is horrible and the book is badly written....). Ate my leftover Chinese food from yesterday's 9 hour study fest. And now here I am talking to you......welcome to my life.....

1) I hate cooked fruit with a passion! Not the taste, the texture. It freaks me out *shivers*…so no fruit pies for me heh…..
2) I’m severely addicted (and obsessed) with my Chapstick. I always have to have one or two on me. Have about 10 strewn about the room in various strategic places, and about 20 more stocked. *lambish look*
3) I’m a huge kid at heart. I love to play around and stuff…have a bunch of toys in my desk including silly putty and a mini slinky (and a dreidal...or three). And I think I severely freaked-out my GF the other day when I played with sock puppets; naming them and making up stories about them…*shrugs and points at self* again BIG KID!
4) I'm a huge procratinator (hence the reason I'm cramming for my two exams on Monday oh the joy) and tend to put things off until the absolute last possible minute. It's my Downfall.
5) Although I identify myself as Jewish, i am not highly religious. I don't believe in god (or at least not the way that most people do). I am very spiritual, and through music and dance is where I find my solace. The ocean is the calmest place I know to collect my thoughts and just take in the serenity...
6) I'm a romantic at heart.
7) I looooooooove to talk. I'm quite loud too heh..
8) I look like no one in my family.

it's a remix of Captain Jack Sparrow's famous "I've got a jar of dirt..." chant heh...highly amusing....

B) Went to the screening of "Until the Violence Stops" at the Student Center this evening...it was pretty intense, and sometimes horrific. But I was sad to see that only 11 people showed up in the auditorium to see it. Only one guy. Partially it was because of bad publicity, but mostly...my guess is that students don't really care, which is sad because it is the youth of today that will change the future of tomorrow.

Eve Eschler is now my hero. She is fabulous. It only goes to show how much of a difference ONE woman can make in the world. V-Day is coming up on the 14th everyone so just letting you know....Everyone and I mean EVERYONE should rent the original Eve Eschler The Vagina Monologues on DVD. It's funny, but most of all it tells the story of women all over the world.

C) In other news...your fellow GreenEleka is freaking out over what to get C for Valentines Day...I wanna send her flowers but they are sooooooooooooo freakin' expensive. Any ideas?! Let me know!

Today was a mix of ups and downs. I slept for most of the waking hours because I just didn't feel like facing the world today....then at din time Cosette, Ben, and I went to 'The Captain's Dinner' at the cafeteria. It was fun there was relatively good food and karaoke. What made me really really sad was that neither of them would sing with me. Ben, alright, he didn't feel like it. Cosette said that it's one of her biggest phobias, singing in front of people that is. I pointed out that she sang in B.o.B. but she said that was cause she had to.

So i was sad to realize that although i really really like spending time with her, that I know that eventually it will come to an end. Because a time will come will I will want more. She's absolutely wonderful; she's attentive and spontaneous, but there are just some things that don't mesh well with me. I want someone who will sing karaoke with me, as stupid as that sounds. I want someone who I can share my deepest insecurities and thoughts with. I want someone who loves me. I want a lover. And I want all these things in the SAME person. Because at the moment as much as I adore C and love my long talks with she who will not be named (but knows who she is) it is sometimes hard to reconcile the fact that I seem to be splitting myself in half.

Shouldn't I be able to share things that I can share with a dear dear friend also share with the one who knows my body? I feel like I'm supposed to be able to. Maybe I'm just too closed. Or maybe it's just showing me that this relationship, although strong, is not meant to be so intimate. Who knows. So for now I will let life take me where it leads.

C also keeps bringing up the infamous 'L' word....no not that one...love. She throws it around sometimes when she's joking "You know I love you..." but the connotation I get from her is deeper. And I won't lie to her, she deserves better than that.

heh...the Vagina Monologues opens on the 15th and everyone on campus is really excited! Ashley, Kat, and C are all in the production so it should be really fun to see! Though my guess is that no one can beat Alanis doing the Cunt Monologue or Idina doing the Moan Monologue.

I went to a small short program tonight just about women and awareness and got some fun buttons, and best of all a CHOCOLATE VAGINA SUCKER! check out my scraps for the pics: [link] [link]

I'm also going to see a film about violence against woman tomorrow including info about *shivers* female genital mutilation and attending a candle-light ceremony beforehand.

So I went to ballet today and it was awesome! She wanted to show the class what lifts look like (we have a few guys in our class) so she asked me and Brittney to demonstrate...we both kinda looked at each other heh...neither of us despite alllllllllll our dance experience had ever done lifts, both our programs apparently had a lack of guys lol...it was fun heh...*w00ts* heh apparently I DO defy gravity! *grins*

Then I was famished and went to eat with C. Tyler and Ben (who is awesome) joined along with his roommate Adam. Hilarity ensued man...Adam asked C and I and I quote..."How do you arouse a woman?" heh anyway what ensued was me drawing a naked woman and diagramming the erogenous zones (heh felt like i was IN a friends episode "7! 7! 7!" heh....love that scene) it was highly amusing lol....gotta love college!

Then instead of showering and doing homework like a good girl, the procrastinater that i am convinced me to go see the student production, Three Days of Rain (yay it was cheap, 4 bucks..remind me to pay back C lol). The Ben, Cosette, and I ran into Tyler and his love interest at the Student Center and had Taco Bell...it was there i learned that i apparently CAN stick my fist completely into my mouth....heh

Then I finally got back to the dorm and went upstairs and found the package slip on my desk and flipped out cuz that meant my CD was here! It seems that I'm Queen of the Hives still! I had a small breakout yesterday night on my back and hips....and again tonight on my legs, scalp, and face....OMG i look like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer man...my nose is bright red from me itching it....grrrrrrrrr....i felt pretty crappy today, not sure if it's hive related or not. So i slept most of the day (skipped classes, not a good thing to do) and then had din with C and hung out and showed her my bad guitar playing heh....then we both procrastinated doing our homework by walking to the Student Center with Tyler and Kat (her roommate not mine.....gah i dislike her man...call her the angry kitty heh....) and had Starbucks! yay for being able to use them on meal plans heh...oh and btw remind me never ever to wear my winter boots sans socks, because apparently they give me blisters on my ankles. that was a bunch of fun...cleaning matted blood out of fur on the inside of my boots....so yeah...I'm really really excited because the Matchbox 20 and Alanis Morrisette concert is coming up soon! so yay! heh C's gonna come home with me next weekend...should be interesting...hope you all are doing well and stuff....

I SURVIVED MEETING C'S FAMILY! omg omg omg...i was soooooooooo freakin' nervous...her mom came up and drove us to her house....her mom is pretty awesome....she croached me a scarf with my school colors lol! Cosette's family is uh...very different from how i grew up...for instance she parties and drinks with her mom, and they almost act more like best friends than mother and daughter. I'm really close with my mom, but um in her own words, "If you drink, I don't wanna know about it!" so yeah...but she was really nice and lol crazy.

Her father on the otherhand (nice guy too...kinda quiet...) came home slightly (k more than slighty) inebriated and his first words to me were..."So...are you an _._.U. bitch too?" um soooooo yeah i didn't really know wtf to do with THAT so i was like....um yeah...Cosette was soooooooo embarrassed....she turned like bright red....and this girl usually doesn't blush...so yeah.

She came out to her dad this weekend and he was like, "Yeah...okay..." it was kinda amusing how he didn't really care one way or the other.

I felt a little out of place there though...I mean I grew up SO SO differently...they live in the middle of nowhere in a tiny tiny (but cute and cozy) house...annnnnndddddddd hunt deer and eat it for dinner.....and get drunk a lot....So yeah i tried the venison but I didn't really like the taste and then C showed me three gorgeous deer hanging out in her huge backyard...I felt soooooo bad that I had eaten them...well not them...but one of them so yeah i've resolved to never eat venison again....also it was kinda weird to see them drunk....just my parents never really drank a home..like ever...so it was like ummmmmmmmmmmmmm okay...so yeah..but i think they liked me...i hope they like me...C said that her mom likes that i can take a joke and dish it right back, so that's good i think.

On friday we went to see 'Chicago' and it was really fun! The production was like Broadway quality or anything but it was professional and fun to go see...C and I kept singing along lol...the only thing that was kinda weird was that there were like NO COSTUME CHANGES...also lol they did the whole..."Annnnd now, Mister Billy Flynn will do a little tap dance....." but then lol he DIDN'T TAP! it kinda killed the metaphor of that song...but eh we still had fun...heh dark theaters have there advantages *winks*

I officially have entered into a 'relationship,' after all...heh i DID change my facebook status, so that makes it official! heh...sigh...i really like her I just think that she likes me more than i like her ya know...and i'm trying, like really trying to just live in the moment (a really difficult feat for me to do...) and not flip or flake out and run. but i'm just not sure if this is where i really want to be....i like her a lot...but im not sure if i'm IN LIKE with her.....and i hope that if and when this relationship starts to be clear to me that it's just not the best thing for me or her that nobody gets hurt and that our friendship will still come out intact...because she's a freakin' awesome chick, dating or not.

Went shopping with my car yay! got my desperately needed curly hair spray (kills the frizzies mostly...) and stocked up on food. Than ate at BK and jammed home to Cascada.....

Also just submitted my RA application...will see how that goes...still have to do the room draw thing bleh...so gotta go find me a roomie now lol...joyness....

DL416...i am so so so so so so so so sorry that i totally forgot to tell you that i wouldn't be around this weekend! i feel horrible...i missed talking to ya...and am still very anxious to see more of you fanfic! will try to get aim working again...grrrrrrr. hope that your weekend was wonderful and that your horsies are nice and toasty warm!

oh and btw...i came back after not cheaking my DA account for two days...only two days lol and found 53 deviations, 36 messages, and 1 note waiting for me! i feel lubbed! yayyyyyyyyyyy.....*goes to check all the stuff out!*

Hi hi! It was soooooooooooooooo cold today man! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....anyway yeah today was pretty good so yay for that! Was extremely bored in my COSC class (grrrrrrrrrr who wants to learn how to convert decimal form numbers in to base 2 anyway man?!) so I drew a bunch of faces...pretty happy with them. Also in the middle of another sketch and will post both as soon as um heh I get around to it....been updating my trading site too...anyone who wants the link let me know!

Had yummy broccoli and cheese soup for lunch (bet that stuff is sooooo bad for you lol...but it was warm yay!) Then went to my old tap class and saw people from B.o.B show, that was fun....went to ballet and watched with amusement as tiny asian woman tried to teach people how to do pas de bourres unsuccessfully...

Then went to eat food...yay...showered and managed not to fall asleep in the middle...and tried to ignore my throbbing headache. Did a minor grocery shopping (yay for the Rammen!) and then C came over to hang and massaged my feet heh which interestingly enough made my headache go away....

So yeah...just another day in the college life...

'Elphie' and I are in a major fight! She's taking forever to load anything! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....I swear to god that the computers are conspiring against the human race! Annnnnnnnnnnnddddddd my trillion won't work *huge pout* which means i can't talk to DL416 or anyone else...so as of now this is my only communication with the online world.....grrrrrrrrrrrr....

On the bright side, I didn't get lost once coming back to school! *does a jig....and a wiggle happy dance in chair* heh you guys have nooooooooooooooooo idea just how proud i am of myself! OMG it is soooooooooooo freakin' cold out! There's a wind chill factor of 0 degrees! 0-frickin'-degrees man! That's sooooooo cold...I had to put my real license plate on (as opposed to the fake temporary one...) And both my mom and I had issues with the unscrewing...soooooo we headed out to some car service place and got some cute young guy to do it for us...for FREE! It was really nice of him too! But i was cringing the whole time cuz he did it without gloves! Without gloves!!!!!!!! Jesucristo...that's freakin' insanity!

And now I'm waiting for my laundry to dry itself so I can load up and drive back to school for the first time in my car! heh...hopefully i won't get myself lost (though the possibility lies on the 'Highly-Likely' side of the spectrum) Mom wrote me the most detailed directions ever lol....sighhhhhhh what it must be like to have a sense of direction...heh

My sister is all (well mostly) packed...but it's too too cold to load all of her stuff into the car right now lol...bleh....Am very very sad that i'm not gonna see her for a few months if not longer...so I shall take my leave and go spend some time with her before I go...

Well it seems that my allergic reaction is peetering (sp?) down. yayyyyyyy for that! I had a 4th reaction again in the dorm on my back and scalp again...ew...made it annoying to sleep but it wasn't too bad...and then a really really small 5th reaction on my chest on Wed. But since then nada hives para ti. Although I am still just...itchy in gen....

Had a fun night with Tyler, Cosette, and Ash yesterday. T, C and I played the '90s version of Trivial Pursuit...grrrrr I had 5 pie pieces and then of course T won...lol and I was soooooo proud of myself lol! I actually for once in my life got the blue pie piece (in this version it's the sports questions) by throwing out the name Barry Sanders out of my ass....um yeah heh....just picked a random football player *grins*.

Went home with Scott today (sis' um...boy....thing) and we listened to Led Zeppelin and fun stuff...Then got home and yayyyyy my license plate has arrived! Which means that I can put it on tomorrow and drive my baby blue back to school!

Made Ginger Crinkles (the best cookies ever! if ya want the recipe let me know....) for my mom because apparently yesterday she made a batch and ha forgot the Baking Soda...so lol they taste a little funny and the consistancy (sp? again grrrrrr) was all wrong...

Apparently heh this morning she went out to her car and found two flats....frozen in a sorta squarish shape heh...so all the way to the repair shop they went "klunk....KLUNK..." heh....

Went out for Thai in honor of my sis' offcial move to DC...it was yummy! Got Pad Tak...yummmmmmm brown sauce heh....then had tea and cookies (the new batch of ginger crinkles i made! yummmmmm) and sang random family things and talked about the time my sister told me she was moving to Montana and I believed her...*shakes head* yeahhhhhh I was a really really and I mean really gullible child man.....

Have to apply for room draw by the 22nd...wow do I procratinate much? Don't answer that...It was rhetorical...(heh and slightly fangirlish) Planning on applying for an RA position for next year...that would get me out of having a roommate and not have to pay for a single! (well not have to pay for room and board either!) so yeah....and have to catch up on homework that I missed during my itchy phase lately...oh the joy the joy...

Then I had a nasty argument with my mother about how you shouldn't judge people because they are strippers...um yeah don't really wanna rehash all that again...

So yeah....my random day for ya....

So I basically slept all day (again)...couldn't sleep very well last night cuz of the itching factor....so yeah. Am worried about how I'm gonna make up all the work in three of my classes....though thankfully i've somehow managed to miss only one class in my Computer Science one cuz the prof has canceled herself....so that's a godsend at least.

*does a jig* my license plate has finally arrived! yayyyyyyyyyyyyy! this means i get to bring my car back up on sat! *does a happy/pee dance* grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr my roommate has been in the bathroom doing god knows what for forever man!

nothing much happened today really, as I've been asleep for most of it heh....had some odd dreams.....a weird epic fantasy one....I was on some sort of battling journey, but i new i could only win if i continued to wear this blue dress (kinda dorothy looking) and I had my wandy thing.....also in one part I fell into a monkey house at the zoo...it was gross...my unconscious mind apparently has heh quite an imagination....

so i ate the rest of my chocolate that Kat gave me for Chrismahanukwanzadan......heh, it was yummy....

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....so I just got back from hanging out with C and what do ya know...as soon as I got home I started breaking out...YET AGAIN!!!!!!! *scratches scalp...and neck...and back....and face...and wrists....* DAMNIT! I am never never gonna be able to fall asleep tonight...oooooooooh so not looking forward to my 10 o'clock class tomorrow.....

Gave Ashely pigtails to go with her hot school girl outfit....she had a really long shift tonight man...7 hours in high heels with horny men...eww.....Poor thing has blisters all over her feet...i walked her home from North Lot (it's creepy walking back to the dorm at 2:30 AM in the morn by yourself) then talked about some..uh girl issues..which was refreshingly nice and made me feel less alone in my uh...issues. Then she had Mac and Cheese while I sipped my coke and then i promptly broke into hives...and nicely enough she took pics for documentation...yet again.

So here I am itching and itching....someone remind me to pre-order Idina's new CD with the extra tracks before the 18th please...or knowing me I'll forget and miss the dealine.

Heheh the tiny asian woman who teaches my ballet class is amusing....there's this other girl who's name is similiar to mine and tiny asian woman can't pronounce either of them...and she's always asking us to demo for the class (because frankly they all mostly suck and we know what we're doing...) but she calls us by the same name lol heh it's amusing.....

So uh...there ya go..the life of my today...your greeneleka...

I am one thoroughly miserable camper. My hives came back in a second episode, and worse than the first time....It was horrible. My left ankle swelled so big it looked like i had broken it. OMG I am so itchy (even thought the hives have mostly dissipated) Kat and Ashley had to hold my hands down at dinner so I wouldn't itch....

So we went to Lover's Lane to distract me and help Ash pick an outfit for um....heh her night job. I felt soooooooooo un-sexy with the hives all over my face lol....Got DQ too, and played Guitar Hero (I am now officially able to play on the 'Hard' level *w00ts*)

Today..well sucked. I woke up and my wrist was itchy. I thought it was falling asleep with a rubber band on, but then my neck itched too. So I thought that was from falling asleep with my necklace on. But the my legs started to itch, so I looked at them and it looked like a mosquito had had a field day with them; little red bumps allllllll over. Then it started to spred, first to my elbows, then arms, ears, neck, sides, chest, back, scalp, and last but not least face and fingers...bleh.

So we went out to KFC and I couldn't sit still, I was so god-damn itchy; had to sit on my hands. So got C to drop me off at university health services...which I promptly found out was closed. Because people don't get sick on Sundays apparently (WTF)...of couse they fucking do! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

so I went to the ER at the local hospital cuz I was soooooooooooo freakin' miserable. And they sent me to pediatrics...I was like, "um I said 19...not 9...." sooooooooooooooo yeah basically they said, "you have hives..." and I was like 'REALLY now! I couldn't tell!' so the doctor was like um...take some benadryl....sigh.........so I did....So the welt like things all over my body have dissapated a little and I'm no longer the color of a bright red tomato, but the itching is still there. My earlobes are swelled and I'm so f-ing itchy arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggggg gggggg.

And the stupid car dealer man was supposed to express mail the license plate for my new car....I gave him my mom's address. I got a message on my phone saying that he had the license plate and did I want him to mail it still. I was like YES GOD DAMNIT...no I'm gonna drive the hour and a half out there (again) to pic it up....jeez...so I called back and was like, 'yes, please mail it before the weekend, otherwise my mom wouldn't be able to drive up my car for the coming week (cause she has work). He actually said, "so you want me to mail it to the address you gave me?" And I'm like, 'are you fucking kidding me? Is this guy for real! YES I want you to mail it, that's why I gave you the freakin' address in the first place!' So the guy (Greg, is his name...though Stupid might have been more fitting...) said he would send it express overnight...and was it there the next day? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, or the next day...nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooo....grr incompetant people irk me!

My happy medium has mostly been restored, with the help of a dear friend, my sister, a good cry, and a little reflection. Thank goodness for that. I have come to the conclusion that what’s past is past, and the future cannot be known, so I might as well make the most of the present, and not be afraid of screwing up. As my mom always says, “If you’re gonna mess up, mess up big.” I just hope I don’t end up hurting another along the way. C and I talked things through a bit so she knows where I stand. I hope in the end, all is as it should be.

Grr….found out that I have to buy 6 books for history! 6 BOOKS! And a book for ballet *is annoyed and the uber amounts of money she has spent already* My Psych. of Women class is awesome! I fear that I have made a bad choice. Half of me is hedonistically ecstatic and the other half knows I wasn't ready, nor was it the 'right' choice for me. I'm all twisted up inside. And I fear that I have fallen into something for which I was totally unprepared for, a situation where I'm not able to give what I should be able to and I'm not sure whether to end it now or see where it goes. I'm not even sure I regret it. But I fear that I will always be holding out for something...more.

My mind seems to be split in all different directions; one path black with shiny hair and love that will never be, one filled with understanding and warmth, and one that moved too quickly filled with touch. But my body is weak and it succumbed to the last. How can I move on from something that never was? Do I accept the things I cannot change, 'forget, regret"? Or will I always dwell on mistakes that I have made and chances that flickered out like a candle? Do I ignore my conscience and live in the 'now'? I hate that I'm so deep....I'm a river carved in the surface of some unknown terrain, that rushes in every direction; lost and forever wandering in the depths of unknown territory. Wish that there was a mind switch, and that my thoughts would leave me alone

So basically I'm scared shitless, to be less elequent. Hence the mood.

The amazing has finally happened! My moment of truth has arrived, in the form a CAR! *squees and flails* and let me tell you, she's a beaut! It's a bright blue 2005 Mazda6 with a fun little spoiler! *grins* and she drives like a dream; hugging the road and accelerates at the slightest touch. And I got a fantabulous deal! So yay! I now have my freedom! Though am having a bit of trouble naming her...here are the so far possible ones I've come up with:

- "The Drakken" (after all...it is blue heh)
- Shego (heh that would fit on the license plate)
