On another topic, I have had some mixed feelings about Deviantart as of late. I'm not too certain if it's worth uploading anything since I'm lost in the huge crowd of other deviants all trying to get noticed. I've received a few faves and watches but comments are very rare, which is what I really need since any criticism or ideas could help me improve my ideas I also have mixed feelings about the community, there are some very talented artists on here but they seem really detached from other deviants, sometimes they won't even reply to my comments or notes even if I'm asking them questions about commissions and the like

I personally prefer FA, it's a much nicer community and I've actually started to get noticed and develop a little bit of a fanbase, which is really encouraging to see

I'll see how things go but at the moment I'm just not too sure what to do because I don't think I'd be missed even if I didn't upload anything

What's happened while I've been away... We had two new bunnies, named Honey and Snuggles. Unfortunately Snuggles, a beautiful little grey rabbit who earned her name from being so placid she would practically fall asleep in your arms when you hugged her, was born with a defect that made her bottom teeth grow into the side of her mouth, causing an infected wound which then led to many other problems such as a blocked tear duct, conjunctivitus, and sinus infection. Her teeth were growing in a way she couldn't eat so eventually she would've starved to death. So we had to euthanize her. Being so close to Sooty, and since we had become so attached to her it was hard and there were a lot of tears. Honey is however in good health, she's vibrant, wriggly, and always on the move.

Can't think of much else to say, so maybe I could put up some sort of discussion journal here, not that I'll get any comments other than winkywoo (thanks for your support) I care a lot about animals and their welfare and am interested in other people's opinions on the matter. Particularly in industry, testing, and my personal vendetta: hunting for 'sport'.

We got her at nine months old but you can hardly tell because she is quite possibly the tiniest full grown bunny I've seen yet, she's settling into the family really nicely. The breeder only sold her to us on one condition though: she has to make some babies with another bunny the breeder had lined up, so then we'll get to keep the bunny and one of her kits!

It starts with a military base discovering an unidentified flying object closing in on them, they send forces to investigate, and the machine ends up being hostile and attacks them, they manage to destroy it but take heavy losses. However, the machine rebuilds itself and augments itself with parts from the vehicles it destroyed in the attack. It attacks the military base, they rally their forces and fight, supposedly destroying it again. Then suddenly it changes into a kind of flying machine with the ability to resurrect fallen machines, tanks and vehicles in particular. The 'Zombie-Tanks' then turn on the army tanks and it ends up taking over the military base and forming a kind of alien citadel, where some machine-like species spawns from and it starts a massive scale war with Earth

There were other things but I've forgotten them, and I'm not sure if the characters were talking animals or human

Also I just tried out the demo for Bioshock on the Xbox360, and I've got to say I've never been so impressed with a game for quite awhile, everything from the gameplay, innovation and concept, story, presentation, and graphics is perfect. It's a must-see!

Later on my grandmother called the manageress, and she told her the other two guys had got it wrong and the return policy only occurred if I got two years warranty. I didn't buy the extended warranty since mum said I should get it chipped after the first year like my friend did so I could get some games cheaper and borrow some of his. Unlike other animals, the critters of the Furry/Feral Imperium have an unusual digestive system that makes them unable to digest high protein organic matter such as meat, and do not need to rely on meat for sustenance. In short the animals of the Imperium don’t eat each other to live. The species of the Imperium also have a strong interrelationship with each other and are sexually compatible, meaning any two species that mate can give birth to either of the parental species or a hybrid (often given a name like skunk-rat, ferret-mouse, weasel-ferret etc.) The animals of the Imperium do not have a hierarchy like other educated critters and instead operate as one enormous family group. Also, the extensive cooperation of the species has allowed the Imperium to form a much more peaceful existence than other races, and has allowed a constant pursuit of knowledge. Of course there is always the threat of overpopulation because the animals can only die of natural causes such as ageing or in very rare cases unvaccinated sickness so the Imperium created artificial ring-worlds and sent them over the universe that still managed to keep in touch despite their enormous distances apart through warp gates. Unfortunately though this technology, especially the warp gate functions, relied on a material called Dark Matter that attracted the Cynids. However, the Imperium’s peaceful lifestyle also made them ignorant of outside dangers such as the Cynid Conclave which was imperialistically taking over other planets and adding them to their cause through forced memory replacement and an assimilation process called Cyresis. Unfortunately for the animals of the ring world “Empyrean,” the Cynids attacked the planet in full force and within a few hours had taken the planet for themselves. Rather than killing the inhabitants however, the Cynids relied on Cyresis and artificial forced memory replacement delivered through Brainbots. The planet was relentlessly shelled with brainbot missiles defenceless, outnumbered, outmatched, and completely helpless the animals gave themselves up. The very small pawful of animals who survived the invasion and did not give themselves up secretly escaped into outer space by building colonies of wrecked or abandoned Cynid spacecraft parts and artificial air production and filtration systems in the Cynid's dumping grounds. However, these colonies were unable to escape the gravitational pull of the planet and became trapped in low orbit. From there the animals needed to send down their forces to the surface to obtain food and water and spare parts. As this family of survivors grew through Zokanovskification and their knowledge of reverse engineering Cynid weaponry made a sizeable resistance force that will eventually become Empyrean's only hope of driving the Cynids back.

The Cynid Conclave
The Cynid Conclave is an imperialistic collective of cybernetic critters who assimilate other species and are led by beings called the High Prophets. The Cynids come in many shapes and sizes but most of their forces come from Cyresis and brainbotting other species. The Cynids however change these roles through Cyresis and brain bot administration. Brainbots are spider-like machines with a light bulb on their head and a hypodermic needle. These brainbots seek out other life-forms to attach themselves to. When the brainbot finds a life form it atempts to attach itself to the critter's brain via the hypodermic needle that is inserted into the pain receptor part of the brain. The light bulb turns on and the brainbot extracts the critter's memory and replaces it with a pre-made program transmitted by a Neuro-hub that ultimately makes the individual obey the Cynid Conclave. However if the neuro hub is destroyed the forced memory replacement program no longer works. Brainbots can be deployed by Cynid soldiers or harvesters.
Not all animals survive assimilation or Cyresis however, (assimilation is brainbotting and Cyresis is special assimilation that contemplates the skills of a special individual) the heart stops and the body starts to rot but the brain is kept functional with the dark matter energy source present in the brainbot's hypodermic needle, the electrical signals produced by the brainbot also allow the critter to move, although it's a little more sluggish than their natural counterpart. These critters are similar to the undead and the Cynids keep them for managing underground machinery and lower priority power systems, some of these individuals are also kept for experimentation and weapons testing because they can only die if the brainbot is destroyed, and cannot feel anything because the brainbot's needle penetrates the pain receptor. A weasel with various cybernetic augmentations due to Cynid Cyresis

3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?

He'd draw a blank

4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?

Well he doesn't wear much so he has freedom of movement, but he has a pair of very thick goggles, a helmet, some ear warmers, gloves, and a pack if he's carrying something.

5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?

His oversized eyes

6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?

Yes! Even though he's a weasel (and weasels are pure carnivores) Snap-Pod's and Zokanovskification artificial birth process overrides his natural system (that's why the animals in my world don't nibble on each other )

7. How is your character similar to you?

He shares a similar personality (even though I haven't shown much of it yet) to me, has a weak left eye, loves technology, likes the snow, has a phobia of sharp objects.

8. How is he different?

He's a talking weasel from the ring world Empyrean, he's much more confident than I am, he's obsessed with guns and explosives like most weasels are, he has excellent reflexes, and he's not scared of children either (*shiver*, evil little things )

9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you?

Definitely not, I speak in monotone

10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?

Grab my trusty gun and fight the Cynids (if I was on the same world as him), otherwise I'd just stare blankly into the mirror for about half an hour.

Well, no one really has gotten to know the crazy critter yet
