Remember, I said that my photo reel is going to be shown? Well that was today.

It turns out to be a huge success. It's a design company, so there are many people who like art and are artists themselfs. So it makes me very happy to hear that they really liked my work.

Also, I get invited for some talking over there. Hopefully, they would like to buy some of my photos or hire me to take some. I don't think I would like to be a profesional photographer, but as a hobby/sidething it's really fun.

Yesterday, I was on my way to Canon center in the city center, which, by the way, is extremely hidden for unknown reasion.

Any way, there I walked by a shop called "Twenty one" - a clothing company and guess what? Thats right, I saw my crying lime on the window as part of commercial.
Well, I am very pleased that they do like it and it actually made it all the way to the window, but, hey, they could have at least asked.

Unforunatly, the text on it says "You have been and will stay in our hearts. Thank you. The shop got closed May 1st." (the last part is written on the door)

Hey, haven't been here a while, becouse latley I haven't had any inspiration for new photos.

Any who, I've created a photo reel called "A photo is worth a thousand words" There I have the best of my photos all togeather, for presentations. The first time it's going to be seen is at my moms work Mr. Lemon(design agency) on ~~August 18th~~ August 24th.

Yesterday I went to that art school, and asked a few questions, but any way the main thing is that next week I'm starting to go to crammer in school, so I can learn everything I need before the exams in june.
The only thing is that I have to get a LOT of things, but everything togeather is just veery expensive But I'll think we will manage it, as it's really important.
It would be great to learn there, I really like the atmoshpere and everything else in there. It just feels like there you would be finnaly perceived as a person.

Finnaly! I have found in which school I would love to go next! As this year is my primary school emission and so I'm going to secondary school - an art school. That seems like the best choise, because they learn everything I like! Photograpgy, web design, flash mulitmedia, 3D, drawing and so on! I'm looking really forward to it.
The only problem is that, to get in I need to pass drawing, paiting and composition exams and I have no expirince at all at it! But, I got time till june, so I hope to learn till that, becouse I really want to get in.

Any way, last night I finished "Still Life"

Description:

Victoria McPherson is a brilliant young FBI agent who's investigating a serial murder case in Chicago. The body count is now at five and she has no real leads, nothing but a mountain of circumstantial evidence and a boss who's breathing down her neck.

In order to take a break from it all, she decides to visit her father in the suburbs. Their discussions involve family stories which include Victoria's grandfather, who used to be a private investigator. This leads Victoria to read one of her grandfather's old case files, a file which reveals an uncomfortably high number of similarities between a seventy-five year old case in Europe and the current string of killings in Chicago...

I got blown away by the really great storyline. The whole game can just really infatuate you. Actually it's the secend time I have played it Also like I have played Mafia for about 6 times as it's storyline is even better!

Today I had a fun evening. I took a look at some old photos. By the way my grandpa was a professional photographer and I did inspired a lot from hes photos! He worked with an optical camera and Im not sure how but he made them perfect. Even though then he did not have any thing like photoshop hes photos are in perfect colors and black and white balance.

The funny thing is that he was a photographer and my mother is a computer graphics artist and I am a photographer and a computer graphics artist.
I hope that one day I will take shots as my grandpa and design like my mom.

Oh and by the way I took a look at some old photos of Me too.

Winter

It feels so cold and everything seems to have lost it's color. I don't really like winter. But, somehow this winter - it feels like it's not that bad. Really, I know it's cold outside, I know that everything is so blank and seems the same, but somehow that just drags me back to home - where it's worm and nice.

But also, becouse of the winter, as you can see, I'm not having lot's of inspiration and I'm not submiting new deviations. But thats the way it goes sometimes. I guess my inspiration comes only when it's sunny outside, couse even in the days when all the city streets and everything is with snow, but the sun is still shining I feel so much better.
And I think it's better to submit stuff like that when you are inspired by something, not just becouse "you have to submit one in a day".

Oh and by the way, I have launched my own PhotoBlog. Its not much different that dA, but its meant for people who arent using dA. Also the good thing is that it has RSS.

Any way, I saw "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" two days back. I think it was a great movie, what are youre thoughts? I like that it's not like any other movies and not that Hollywood crap.

I had a intresting day. We went to to bank of Latvia museum with my class, but it was not like any other boring museum where some old lady is telling you stuff what you don't really care about and you practically fall asleep.

In this you they had a really nice design to everything and there where LCD's all over the place They made ordinary things really intresting to see. Also I made a some photos there, but with ~raivis camera, couse mine is with my sister in Germany. She will only be back after about a week.

Today, I where working on the A.P.O. new layout. And I did it nicely! I'll put some screenshots and a link to the web as soon as we will be done with the code. Actualy it's my first page that uses no tables, only css.

And also, my problem with my prints page is still actual.. I did inform Prints help desk, and I'm waiting for a reply, but I hope that it will get fixed

I apologize for the problems you are encountering and any inconvenience they cause. There is a bug in the Basic Print Program that causes the issue you have to occur. The technical department is working on it but please note, the BPP is still in Beta, it has not officially launched yet, and is still subject to changes and bugs of this nature. While the bug results in a distorted preview image, it does not affect the quality of the print itself.

So it will be alright.

First of all, thank you all guys for the 2000 page views! I'm really glad If you look at the DevWatch list you can tell that this is/was my busiest month Also I have decided I should compete in some contests!

This is a big day for me -- today I'm going to do some changes! I want to clean up my gallery and leave the best photos. This also means that in future Ill only upload pictures which I like the best. Thats all for now, I'll update this once I'm done with cleaning.

Alright, I have cleaned up my deviations. From 230 to 60 deviations.
Now, I'm planning to re-edit them, so they are in the same style. So stay tuned.

Awww, my sister went to Germany and asked me to give her my camera and sense Im a nice guy I gave it to her so now all week I got no camera. Oh well, I'll post some older pictures which I have wanted to post for a while now :]

Also I have joined the AbstractPhotography team so uhm.. Yeah... thats kinda cool.

And if I got some time I'm planning a tutorial about photography editing.

Finaly, the long waited summer is here!
