So today I'm happy because:

1. I've been drawing a lot lately, and I'd like to think that I've improved. (Sorry if it comes across boastful!)
2. I've been teaching English on the side to kids, and is quite enjoying it. And all that money. (Hehehehe $u$)
3. I LOVE KOREA. And how cheap everything is. For example, and sandwich at my university is around $2! For 3 sandwiches cut in half!
4. I LOVE MY FAMILY.
5. I got into the university for this March, so interview is coming up soon! Wish me luck for that. x:

Here's how my day went:
1. 7:30 AM bus to Ulsan University, like every Mon/Thurs.
2. Arrived at 8:30 AM and hung around the caf and the classroom
3. Had class at 10 and did my first university presentation... it went well. :)
4. After the presentation I made lots of friends because they were curious why I spoke English when my background is 100% Korean.
5. Went to get my Visa photo taken. While waiting got supplies for the kids that I an tutoring English.
6. Around 2:30 PM I got on the bus
7. Arrived home at 4:00 PM

And now I am typing this. 8)

Personally, males. Idk why - maybe I like drawing them more so I draw them more often which makes them easier to draw.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair. Wavy hair for girls and long (but not too long to make a ponytail) for boys!

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Neither. I fail at drawing heads facing left OR right... I prefer straight on thank you.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Refer to previous question.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Hands and feet. They are my worst enemies.

◆What do you like to draw?
I like drawing people - particularly males. I also drawing realism - whether it be still life or people.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Both. Opencanvas, SAI, and photoshop for digital. Copic markers, sketches and paintings for traditional. 8D

◆Where do you start drawing from?
I start drawing the hair... which is REALLY weird, I should stop doing that.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I ALWAYS draw the boy's hair long. With bangs. Idk why, I NEED TO STOP.

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Don't overdo it and underdo it.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Depends. Sketches take around 30 mins-1 hour, fullbody digital pieces takes hours, and paintings take days.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
If traditional, the radio. If digital, nothing.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Oh God, I don't know. It comes and goes!

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Tablet for digital and pencil for traditional.

Black or blue.

Uh, my style.

BAD NEWS:
- School. is. taking. over. June. I've got 3 exams, an art show, and projects meaning I won't be on as much = less/no art. ;n;
- My whole summer is going to be studying for university prep and working at Baskin Robbins. YAY ME.

Now for the good stuff.

GOOD NEWS:
- Baker's cyst is ALMOST gone - I can now walk properly.
- 1 thing to look forward to after exams - PROM AND GRADUATION!
- September 09 - I'm off to University of Toronto Mississauga/Sheridan collage to study Art and Art history! SO EXCITED.

And that's it folks - the story of my life atm.

I went to a walking clinic yesterday - turns out that a cyst has grown in the back of my leg. Specifically Baker's cyst.

"A Baker cyst is swelling caused by fluid from the knee joint protruding to the back of the knee. When an excess of knee joint fluid is compressed by the body weight between the bones of the knee joint, it can become trapped and separate from the joint to form the fluid-filled sac of a Baker cyst."

If the pain does not go away on it's own, surgery is the best treatment.
My left leg is throbbing so much, and I really don't want to go through surgery.
