I'm still looking! I've been accepted to school, and will be going off to college in late August/early September of this year. It sounds far away, but I've got a feeling it's going to go faster than I could imagine.
Anyway, enough babbling, I'm still looking for someone who's willing to take over. If nobody steps up, this club will just go dormant... which would make me awful sad. I'm going to be leaving DeviantArt all together (including my personal profile) by the time I start school, as I'll be launching my own site.

Well, like clockwork, the club has slowed down again. I am surprised at how much interest we have though! Look at all of our members! :D I'm so proud.

Anyway, I'm just journaling to let everyone know that I am looking for someone (a member, most likely...) to take over this club, and manage it as I do now. I'm really busy getting ready to apply/go to college, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. The last thing I want is for this club to become dormant, and lose what we have going here.
I promise you, whoever takes over, I'll help you through the process, and show you how to manage everything (it's really quite simple... I just don't have the time). Please step up and say something if you are interested! If you are... not me on my main account (~Ville13) and we'll talk about it. :) If worst comes to worst, and nobody wants to take over, it will become a dormant, blank page here on DeviantArt. I won't leave this page up as is... because I don't want people's work being stolen etc... It would really be a shame to see this club die. So, think about it, and let me know!

Lately there's been quite a bit of discussion within the club as to how the work submitted to this club is named. Since I (~Ville13) am the only one who posts to the club's gallery, I'd like to have some input on this topic. I usually try and put both the original name of the work, as well as the artist responsible, so that he or she gets the credit they deserve. Sometimes, you can't fit both though. My question to the members of the club is... what's more important in the TITLE, the original name of the deviation, or your username? Which do you prefer and why? Discuss.

One thing I have noticed is that many people aren't reading the rules and descriptons of the deviations... and I have had people adding artwork to their favorites. None of the members have done this... but I do believe this is strictly against the rules of DeviantArt. As the members of this club... do you think I should find these people? It's up to you, the artists... but please get back to me on that. I'll do everything in my power to get you the credit and favs you deserve!

Well, in about a month or so, I am going to be leaving for Europe for approxamately three weeks. In my absence, I need someone to temporarily take over the Giger club! It's pretty simple...just make sure that people who want their art posted, get it posted. I doubt anyone will want to post, but I'll have someone fill in for me just in case. :) They will also have to manage new members (again, not a big job). But I need someone to help me! If you're interested, note me (I'm Ville13 [link] ) and I'll consider you for the position. If nobody steps up to the plate, the H.R. Giger Fanclub will be dormant for three weeks! Help!

Well, it looks as if things have slowed down a little bit for us here at the Giger Fanclub eh? I personally are on the brink of another Giger-inspired deviation (I just need to find time to do it!!!). Hope you have some stuff brewing too, we haven't had any deviations added to our gallery lately. :P
