There's no continuous thought running through my head nor a variety of thoughts that make me worried. The temperature isn't messed up.
Oh well.

I went to dinner with my father and step-mother, two people I haven't been in contact (excluding 10 minutes at DoaS) with for 3-4 years now. I brought Kasey along for the ride, and it ended up not sucking. There was some awkwardness. A lot of it. And the ever present mix-emotion from my father of being both proud that I'm smart, talented, whatever and disappointed that I'm not an athlete.
He gave me 200 dollars cash, which I immediately spent all of 65 of. Tomorrow, I'm going clothes shopping, woo....

By the way, the 200 went to a new camera, memory card, movies, and something else, so don't think I went all weird shopping freak on you.

Today was a good day. I graduated from High School. I'm also reveling in the fact (ask anyone who has talked to me in the last two months) that I start college Monday, a mere two days after graduation. A thirty minute drive to school, six hours learning, and then a nice thirty minute drive back. Every Monday and Wednesday until July 22. And then I have Monday and Wednesday classes again for the fall.

Today was pretty awesome. Hit 10 open houses on today only, and know I missed a lot of them. Hung out with some awesome people, and had some great convos, especially when hanging at Kasey's with her, her mom, and her little brother.

Leary about tomorrow though. Bookbag shopping, then dinner with dad. Don't know how that will go. Dunno. Guess I'll find out.

Sorry about not updating. I'll try harder. Maybe get the random blogs back. I liked them.

I've been on every day since I came back to deviant art, over 10,000 page views ago. Yet, I only looked at deviants I watch pictures and journals and such, and yet left my own watchers down.

So that's why I'm going to do this. I'm going to get the people who once cared, who once helped me get ideas, back. And I'm going to keep on writing journals until I do.

Most of my time will be spent on that, and on homework. Also, actual work.
I hate the new pay system. I don't get a paper check anymore. Nope, instead they give me a paycard (debit card) and my pay goes to that. It's moronic. They don't even have paper check has an option. Plus they work me so little, it seems pointless to put money on it.

My mind is everywhere right now. I want to be able to just hang out with friends. I have work tonight from 530 to 830. I'm doing nothing tomorrow, and I want to hang out with someone. And I mean actually hang out. Do something. Even if it's dissing movies. (Becoming the Bull-Atreyu) Wednesday is school. And thus, my senior year begins. That's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about the year after.
I'm worried about one person.

Anywho, I'm not sad, depressed, or anything of the sort (Even though when I think of her being without me, making it easy to replace me, my old depression relapses).

I'm just bored.
I'm actually rather happy in the long run.

Then my mom asked me how often I write stuff, and my top so many favorite. I look, but can't because I don't have a subbie.

2) My nephew was born yesterday.
The entire thing is hilarious.
I didn't sleep the night before. I'm finally about to sleep, when my mom calls asking me to go pick up some tylenol for my sister Rachel.
I drive out to the dollar store at 9am, right when it opens. I buy some medicine and head over to her house. I hang out awhile, until she gets hungry. I go to Arbys, using my 50% discount, and I buy her some food.
I spend some more time there, then leave
The whole time we joked that she'd go into labor while I was in Tennesee.
About 1:15, I'm about to fall asleep again. My mom calls, says Rachel went into labor, and I need to call people. On my own will, I go up to the hospital and wait, telling Rachel to have the kid before 7 (i had a meeting).
Well, 7 comes around, and no kid.
DURING THE MEETING, she had the kid and named it Korbin.
I miss everything.

But yea, it was great.

I posted up the Create a Character tutorial up in May. A few people said they used it and such, which is great. The problem is...now I'm curious. I've posted links to it on my myspace and on my facebook, and I want to see people's end results to it.

I work at Arbys. Hurrah? Meh, kind of. I'm good at it. I got certified on back line within 5 days. The only problem is that they rarely put me anywhere else to learn.
Also, for a 'make everyone feel welcomed' restaurant, they kind of neglect people. Hell, even people who were my friends BEFORE barely talk to me.
Bastards.

Anywho, to shove it their face and make them feel bad, I have a car.
Let me rephrase.
I have one kick ass car.
A 2002 Burgundy Mercury Sable.
About 35-40 miles to the gallon. Not that sure. Runs awesomely. Turns amazingly.
And people are jealous of it.
Which I normally wouldn't care about, but they've always been the people who make you feel like shit for having something better than you.

Government is finished. I passed the class, which is all I cared about. It was fun while it lasted, and now I get to go back to being bored out of my fucking mind.

First off, there are more government things at the bottom.

Now, I'm not one to usually review a book or anything, but I like to tell you about awesome ones.

Well, I just finished one.

It's called "Freaks:Alive, on the inside" and it's simply amazing. It's set in 1899 in America (around Indiana, Iowa, etc.) and is about a boy named Abel who leaves his own family freak show(he's normal himself) to go out into the world to find his own craft. The whole time, an Egyptian priestess from a prior life is talking to him through his dreams to save her from the "skelton man". With his best friend, Apollo(dog boy), he ventures to find his craft while not knowing the whole time that he is finding his priestess.

There are times where people are interrupted while they read, and they'll say something to the effect of, "Aww, it was getting to the good part." Well, every time I was interrupted while reading this book, I said that. There's hardly a moment that goes by that isn't interesting, gripping, or just plain awesome.

Hey, I'm sitting here, not out spending time with people, listening to my small collection of Flogging Molly, and I decided to write a quick journal.

I had Summer School US Government today. First day of 20. It was awesome. The four hours almost flew by. IO, Frankie, Ryan, and myself make the class bearable. Even the teacher is cool to an extent.

So, I have neglected my DA for awhile now. Even more than myspace, and that's saying something, since I hate my myspace.
I've just been too out of it and in depth into stuff to write.

Facebook is easy to control (as well as myspace) since the only thing to do is talk to a couple of people.
Aim/msn/yahoo is just as easy for the same reason
I just got a stickam
And youtube is easy, because VLOGs are pointless, whereas I like the DA journals.

My "art" has also been neglected. Due to an increase in schoolwork, with this being the last week, I havne't had time to write.

But don't worry.

When Carie gives me my flashdrive back, I'll finish, edit, and post my newest oneshot. Something that IO challenged me to.

So, remember when I said that it was probably just a stomach virus or something (Saturday evening?). Well....Sunday morning, I woke up with the pain again, around 8 o'clock. It got exponentially worse since then, and around 4ish, I went to the E.R.
Well, after a shit load of stuff (I.V., contrast, MRI), they figured out, hey, I have an infected gallbladder.

The ER doctor was a jackass btw.

So they kept me over night with the knowledge that I was going to get an ultrasound, and depending on those results, I might have surgery.

So, after Ellen visited (my favorite part), I managed to get asleep about eleven. At 12:30, they came in, woke me up, took my vitals, and let me go back to sleep. Then at 1:15, my machine started beeping because of the damned I.V., so I called a nurse to come get it and got back to sleep. Then at 2:30, they checked my vitals. Then at 4:30, 5:30, and finally at 7:30. After that I stayed awake, and about 15 minutes later, I had the ultrasound.

Well, even though it wasn't that bad (like normal infected gallbladder patients) they felt I needed to go about surgery as soon as my mom got there. Because if it's affecting me this much at 17, how much will it affect me later in life.
So my mom got there, I had surgery at 9:30am, took to the recovery room at 10:30 am, and woke up at 11:07 am. I finally got wheeled back up to my room at noon, where I spent a great deal of it asleep.

I finally woke up, and they told me I would be able to go home after I completed three mythical tasks:
1)Eat without getting nauseated(Yay for tomato soup and grilled cheese w/chocolate milk)
2)Take a leak
3) Walk around

I got them completed and when they went to get my papers, Ellen and Carie came by.

I then got wheeled out of the hospital and am now at home.
And in a half hour, I'm going to driver's ed, because they make us pay if we miss class.
For school however, they can kiss my post-op ass.

I'm fine, so no worries.

btw, in the end, it was worse than imagined. Apparently, I've been having these attacks for well over a year, but they haven't been painful enough for me to actually deem them hospital worthy.

And since I can't really remember EVERYTHING, I'll just tell you stuff from recently.

Tuesday was fun. We had our last away game for Comedy Sportz against PIKE HIGH SCHOOL, which made us feel insecure. Seriously, we always thought that Mt. Vernon made our school look like shit, but Pike made us look like the shit that Mt. Vernon shitted on....
The place was amazing, but so were the people.

One of the best games I played. Even though I was sick.

After that, Cat, Cookie, Carolyn, and myself (who's name does not start with a C) went to dairy queen(which was a cheap attempt to go visit Cat's fiancee ,which we did). When you have sickness, mint chocolate ice cream doesn't help your throat.

THAT REMINDS ME!
Last time, I didn't tell you that a monday, april 14, I was rushed to the hospital after my mom found me barely able to breathe, and not able to stand. IN the long run, it was nothing. Still don't think it is. Only had one attack since then, but mostly it was a stomach virus.
Which brings me tot he point that this past monday, I got a new physician.

He walks in and goes, "Zaq, i don't believe we've met before." Which mackes me reply, "Actually, you delivered me." He stares for a second and goes, "Right. Well...nice to see you again."

He's a cool doctor. And not just because I have perfect blood pressure and iron levels. I also got a tetanus shot(the new ones have a new chemical in it for the hooping cough), which led to my immune system going down, hence the sicklness on Tuesday.

Thursday, Comedy Sportz had it's last home game of the year against Mt. Vernon (Our rivals, and my favorite team to play). It was awesome.
Before the match, Mr. Jacobs (our drama director) wouldn't let the CSz players leave rehearsal, even though we had practice. He said that the play was more important (which we understoond, but he didn't have to be so blunt about it). He told me to go home, and he nearly canceled the match (however, in the end, he doesn't have the ability much).
But, despite our differences, we joined together and essentially told him to shove it up his ass.

Yesterday was Day of Silence, which I did participate in. People are fuckheads, and when they don't understand what they're talking about, they get scared of it. Honestly. One of my subs said she wouldn't report me if I punched this one kid...

I had to leave early for a eye appointment, talking to the doctor the only talking I did. I'm getting new glasses soon. My mom was messing with me for D.o.S., but it was jokingly and she wasn't being a bitch about it.
My sister Sarah came over and dropped off her kids as well as cut my hair. I then went with Ellen and Becca to Becca's church. There was a lock-in and it was also a 30-hour famine. It was amazing and I had fun. Those little kids are cool. The older kids (a couple) I wanted to kill, but oh well.

I had fun.

So this has been a perfect week (also last friday) for me. It's just been amazing. Now, for the random.

First of all, yes, that counts as one of the randoms. So, anyways, I got some pretty kickass scores on projects I've worked on. It's astounding if you knew me. Before this year, I went out of my way to pretty much never turn in a project except for Japanese. This year, I turned in my Psychology project (100%), My English Research Paper (The Future of Censorship in Video Games 106/120), the Powerpoint that went with it (74/75. It didn't save when I fixed the typos), and my U.S. History project (98%. Apparently there weren't enough pictures of Hitler on my visual). So, yea. When I actually work on a project, I'm a halfway decent student.

So originally, I was going to go to IUPUI to Major in Writing focused in Creative Writing and Minor in Education. Well, IUPUI doesn't have an educational minor since it's a more hand-on type of job. So, I either have to Major in Education and minor in Creative writing OR Dual Major in English and Education while minoring in Creative writing. I'm most likely going for the latter.

I think that numbers with "half" after them should just be hybrids.
Example:
Instead of twenty-three and a half, it should be twenty-thour.
But, for some numbers, that would be difficult. Like four and a half....five.
So, if you really thought it out, it'd be fun to count.

, my friend Cameron, and I thought of this cool idea while we were suppose to be paying attention in US History. It's called the "I-Don't-Carebears" and I'm writing a script, and we'll try to make a 30 minute video, breaking it up into three continuous episodes of ten minutes.

Because of my two math classes being with Mr. Fishel, and last year, my math teacher was Mrs, Crumlin (They are by far the two best math teachers ever), I'm actually starting to enjoy math to an extent. I'm like five seconds away from buying the "Math is Delicious" t-shirt off of QC.

I wrote a tutorial. Ironically enough, it's about Character Development (If you are now just joining us, the irony is that I suck at Character Development). Well, I started to write it for me, but when I was a few items in, I thought it would be a good tutorial. I can't oput it up on here until IO uses it, draws the character, and lets me use the picture with the tutorial as a reference.

It felt awkward writing it.

So, our play is over.

Might seem normal to you, but...haa...haa..

FINALLY!

Holy crap, after all the yelling, the hitting, the people being completely retarded and disrespectful, we did what we do everytime. We brought it together for the show.
No matter what happens leading up to our shows, we always bring it together in the end. And except for the obligatory mess ups in (some) lines, it was a damn great performance if I do say so myself. We had a great turn out for all three shows.

Besides that, everything is going great. Of course, almost all of my friends are virtually at each other's throats. There's also a huge "I hate you" Battle Royale going along with the small ones. Yelling, saying things about each other, it's so fun to watch.

For me though, it's all fine. My grades are good. My life is good. I now have 58 new songs that I listen to over and over. (Thanks Carie). Everything is...perfect.

You guy have known me for awhile. All my journals use to be all depressing and such.

I'm good.
I'm great.
I'm happy.

5)Faerie Wars (desperate need for something outside my genres).
6)Crunch Time (A sortof mystery with 4 points of views throughout).
7-9)The Dexter books. Like the serial killer dude. Has his own show now. They are mystery books. A serial killer who only kills serial killers....

I read Alice, I think and I'm reading Crunch Time. I'm holding off on the Dexter books until the others get here.

In my Adv. Computer Apps class, I finished up the unit with a day to spare. Not bragging, just telling you this: I started and finished my entire powerpoint project for english in computer apps. It's a big deal if you know my situation. First off, I don't have Microsoft Powerpoint at home!!! Yea, I know. It sucks. Second, I had planned on making every page full of graphics and such, while maintaining my point. That being said, each slide took about 20-25 minutes...

Random story 1:
So, awhile ago, one of my friends (I'm 95% sure it was ) recommended the movie Identity. I believe the main reason was because dude who plays Dr. Cox is in it.
I suddenly remembered this yesterday and went to add it to my netflix list. I clicked on the movie and it said it was already in our list. So I went to the list to move it up to number one, and it said that it had already been shipped to us.
Turns out it was already at our house.

So yea, amazing movie. Holy crap, I loved it. The ending was just...wow. For awhile I've been able to call the endings, but for that...it actually had me for awhile. I was truly amazed.

Random Story 2:
Earlier in the day, I had told Ellen that I wouldn't be able to go to the semi-formal dance (in all fairness, I didn't know I would be able to). She had to go due to being forced to decorate. Anywho, when I found out I could go, it was somehat of a surprise to her.

A lot of the music was rap. They had rap, then two country songs (all their slow songs were country except Aerosmith...), then more rap, then Cotton-Eyed Joe, then rap, then some funk (Sexy thing, Brick House, and Play that funky music), some rap, slow songs, rap, chacha slide, rap, slow songs, a mix of rock music, rap, then one final slow song.

It was amazing. I mean normally I would've hated the slection of music, but the dance was amazing. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was amazing because I got to hang out with Ellen. XD

Random Story 3:
I have to go clothes shopping tomorrow for my mom's wedding...

We got out of school early today. It was supposed to be kept secret from all sudents.
So as I'm sitting there at Bringerud-sensei's computer, and the principal tells the teachers to check their emails right away, Sensei tells me to check it.
As I read out loud that we get to leave school an hour and a half early, and then read (in very small print, mind you) that no student should know until forth period, I laughed.

I had realized that them putting that note at the very bottom, most teachers would tell their students.

I was right.

People screaming and shouting, and just watching Mr. Jack's little secret go to shreads...it was amazing.

So, yea. Home. Talked to Ellen. Slept a bit. Watched Sublime.

Both contests are due at the end of the month. Raven and Scelia are almost pointless now, and Talia is getting there. Plus the RomCom and the Self and friends fanfic haven't been started, nor the time I promised you a B rated horror story with killer kittens.

When it comes to writing, I'm not on it right now. I'd blame it on being overwhelmed, butI'd actually have to do some of the work to feel that way.

Hey everyone, how's it going.

Random stuff.


Anywho, yesterday we were told that we would get like...6-8 feet of snow and that school would be canceled, so they canceled the drama lock-in, making a whole mess of people extremely pissed (it had been canceled at least three times prior). So, we get about one inch of snow, and some slush. We get a two hour delay, and the lock-in is still canceled.
Speaking of drama, the current play we are in, I'm not all excited for. No offense to Jesse. The play is coming awesomely, and the cast is amazing, but everytime I've played essentially an extra, I'm just not all that enthused. Come show night, I will be back in the mood for it though. After virtually no people backstage during odd Couple and with people going to be there again, the atmosphere will be back.
I'm in another contest, but I'm not going to say what it's about or what I'm writing. Everytime I say I'm going to write something, it never seems to work out.

I'm way too fast in Advanced computer apps. I was done with Unit 2 a week in advance, and finsished an hour and a half test in twenty minutes. I passed it too. I'm just usually stuck there reading my book. I would type, but the kid next to me looks over my shoulder and it bugs me.

February's theme song is be Yourself by Audioslave. Listen. To. it. Now. I'll wait..... WASN'T IT AWESOME?? Most of the songs I've originally picked out for the next few months are gone. I've gotten better songs in my head since then.

The Book Thief is an awesome book as is The Looking Glass War.

Hello, dear readers, how are you today? That's awesome. I'm great.

Holly's party was awesome. It just...was.

Today, I went to ComedySportz, and rode over with Jesse and IO. Any two people I would want to ride in a long car ride with that isn't Ellen, would definitely be those two.
At CSz, with no help from me, our team actually won. I was in the first half, and we didn't score at all that round. Then there was this huge comeback in the second half. Jesse did some risky dance moves and hurt his back.
After that we went to Rock Paper Scissors, this kickass cafe'-esque place. I finally got real food there, even though I still don't know what the hell it was. It was good though. I also got a dancing mango smoothie. I don't even like mangos and i liked it.
In the long run, me, Jesse, and IO need to hang out more.

Also got back and started watching season 6 of Scrubs. Got all the way up to My Musical.

Lastly, since there was a tie on the last poll, I'm going to type up a RomCom on my computer, and write a Fanfiction Self and Friends in a notebook. That way, I can work on either any time.

Anywho, I gotta get going.

I already got February's song picked out already.

When I was in my whole depressing, angsty Zach phase, every now and then I would have days that felt good. I wouldn't really do anything out of the norm, but it still felt good.

This was one of those days. Or, I've been having great days for awhile, but today felt the same as those days.

All day was great, and in all actuality, it probably started in CSz yesterday while I was talking to Ellen.

And today was great too.

My music could sense it.

Now WOOs

This past weekend I went to Muncie to hang out with Sarah, Luke, Levi, and Olivia (peanut). First night, I watched Levi's addiction to Katamari Damacy (which he has had since the first game came out when he was 2-ish). Watching a four year old go crazy about such an addicting game is awesome.
After that, we played with Lincoln Logs. If anything brings back nostalgic memories, it'd be that. I totally made a kickass house. I was gonna make a smaller one, but the logs ran out, and I was down two walls. So being the smart one I am, i attached it to the big house, and voila, a garage.

Also, by rules of Levi, I was forced to sleep in his bedroom. The sleeping bag was comfortable. i refused an air matress.

Saturday was great. What I remember, what I remember....

Right. We went up to Muncie Mall, and the shops there are awesome. I was a few seconds away from buying a koRn t-shirt from Spencer's, but they didn't have my size. And Hot Topic didn't even have one.
We also went to my favorite Muncie chinese food place. They had pumpkin pie...
Also, burping Peanut, she fell asleep on me. 'twas cute, indeed.
Also, Sarah took me to see Juno. It is such an awesome, fantastic movie.

Sunday, I went home. I also saw the Dance thing Ellen was in. Even though she won't admit it, it was great, and she did great.

Monday, (twas a day off), me, Ellen, Holly, Sammy, and Michelle saw Cloverfield. Another awesomeley awesome movie. Go see it. Monsters are my least favorite subgenre of horror but still, go. Now. Read the rest later.


Also Woo to the fact that I found a name for one of my characters in this story. Totally ripped it off of [Scrubs] where it was mentioned very quickly. Then the name just kept repeating in my head.

btw, borrowed seasons 5 and 6 of [Scrubs] from Luke.

And Woo that I vented and won't go that crazy for a few more months.



Also, these grade were updated today. i don't have adv comp apps or Japanese up yet, but I know I'm good in those.

US History- 93% 9test today though. not up yet)

Now why would I get angry about this? Why do, every now and then, I get upset or depressed or anything of that matter? because with all the listening and listening and listening I do for you, not once am I asked a goddamned question about me. Not once have you ever heard me complain of something personal.

And don't be all like, "Zaq, you just never say anything." BULLSHIT. I've told you countless and countless time again that if you asked me a question, i will answer it. I have absoluely no problem talking about me, but there's no me to sit there and listen and listen and listen.

And here I am. Talking on aim to probably the only people in the fucking galaxy that don't deserve me being this angry, and I'm taking it out on them. I'm so so sorry I'm taking it out on them. They are the only people that listen and I'm giving them the mean end of the stick.

But in the end, after all of the listening I do for you. After all the consoling I do for you. After every second of niceness and care I put into yuo, what happens when you don't need someone to complain to? You go to the people that didn't give a fuck in the first place.

However, when i get writer's block, only a few things can help.

Now, I've used the music, I've talked to Ellen, and I made fun of people setting themselves on fire via youtube. I have a plot, I have a development, I have basically everywhere I want it.Hell, I even have my own editor.

But what don't I have?

That's right, folks. The one thing that always screws me over in the end. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!!!

I've tried everything to get characters for this story. I've tried what I always do. I've tried running them each through that question process. I even tried having them based on people I know (guess I'm just not good at it).

But, no. Still no decent characters.

Damn my flaw.

Sorry, just a random vent at a time I need to sleep.

Ellen, when you read this, i tried to sleep. I promise. This was just bugging me.

So, as those who actually read the artist's comments on deviations know, I entered "Let it Snow" into a Christmas Contest on . Weeeeell, I got second place(which I believe the second place prize is a six month subscription).

There's only one problem. It's still not enough for me to get over my writer's block. Or the fact that when I didn't have it, and had ideas, I ignored them.

I have next Tuesday as basically a free period for my Advance Computer Apps class, so I'll try writing then.

Anywho, I sicken myself. Let's start with "The Eye". [link] for info.
I have yet to see the Chinese original. Why? I missed it in theaters and it doesn't seem to be on netflix. The Eye 2 sucked, but they don't seem to be about the same thing. Why I sicken myself is this. I actually want to see the remake with Jessica Alba. She seems as if she can handle a horror role well, and it may just be my want to seee this movie in any form, but it actually looks good.

I know you probably don't get why this sickens me. I've just always hated American ripoffs.

As anyone who has heard me ramble on about JHorror know, Takashi Miike is one of the closest things I have to an Idol. I've seen everyone of his movies I can get my hands on, and he just rocks.
When I heard about the remake I was hesitant. Then i remembered that the original came out in '04. That means that the directors aren't even trying to hide the shame of remaking.
To top it all off, Takashi Miike is an idol to American Horror Directors as well, so they put everything they could to make it an awesome movie, in Miike's honor.
When I saw the trailer I was in awe. I want to see it so bad. I hope it rocks as much as Miike's.
However, I want it just as much for him to get some credit for it. Like in the beginning credits or something.

I am obsessed with JHorror. Besides writing, Horror movies of any kind, especially JHorror have been my passion. Music too, but that's cliche'-y.

I went to Dillon's bday party, and it was pretty awesome. I played super smash bros and apples to apples with everyone. We pretty much played a bunch of kiddie games, but with all people having a perverted mind, it went wrong.

Played a naruto game with Amanda and owned her at it with every unlocked character. She then cost us the win on Supr smash bros melee by stelaing one of my lifes.

So I tried smothering her with a pillow. Actually did that like five times.


Today was an even greater day, besides our apartment smelling of corn beef hash and cabbage which made me sick.

I got to see Rachel, and then got to hang out with Ellen, which was the best part of the day overall.

Then went home and felt sick again.

Now I'm eating canteloupe to make myself feel better.
