That is not to say that I haven't been doing stuff, why I sketch madly most days, but I've just gotten quite lazy about uploading the stuff. Hopefully, I'll be working on that in the coming weeks. The sad thing is that I'm soon going to have very little free time, being that I'll not only be attending classes again, I'll be doing so in another state.

Admittedly this move has brought some good things, specifically I can think of what I'm currently typing this journal post on: my very own laptop. At the same time I am also "enjoying" the odd sensations sprouting from having all four of my wisdom teeth removed recently. Swallowing stitches, regardless of whether or not they are biodegradable, is an oddly disturbing feeling no matter what.

So, I'll be spending the next few weeks packing, coalescing, having a last hurrah with local friends, and hopefully getting to a few artistic endeavors.

Now, I reserved the book at my local bookstore long, long ago, but didn't get around to it immediately. I began at a slow pace, until the last four hundred fifty pages or so, upon which I stayed up all night one night to finish. I felt like I needed it.

I don't know about you guys, but I found it satisfying. I am kind of sad that I'll never read about them again. Back in 1998 when I first began the series it captured my imagination, and hardly let go until today. I cannot recall an experience quite like attending the first showing of the first movie, and I doubt that I'll ever experience such a thing again. I have issues with some parts of the books, but Rowling spun one heck of a yarn.

I think the Newsweek review put it best, "the readers who have grown up with this series—who have read it, as it were, in real time as it unfolds—are themselves at that end." That end, of course being the experience of childhood. From myself and all those who grew up alongside Harry and his cohorts, I applaud this end to an era.

Those things are selling quite well. Right now its just me going out and trying to get people interested, but I'm hoping with a little work I can do some real advertising soon. I'm still wondering if I should try and sell these things online, mainly because the venue would have to be something like Cafépress and I have some reservations about them.

The way I hear it they would print the shirts, not me, and decide the prices, not me, but also cut me into the profits along with providing a free online store. Now my reservations are that as I would not be making the shirts myself I could not guarantee their quality, and form looking at other T-shirts they'd likely be priced far above my initial $10 a shirt. If you guys think this is fine I'd be more than willing to set up shop online so long as there is iinterest.
