First of all, I want to thank EVERYONE for their contributions and interest-- I didn't expect so many people to enter! To those that couldn't get their entries in on time, Don't worry about it! I realize that we all have lives to live, and that they can get busy.

I loved the different styled and methods that everyone used, whether it was photoshop, Microsoft Paint, or colored pencils! But alas, there can be only one (*lol's at Highlander reference*) winner in this particular contest.

As promised, the winner will get a sketch of their choice, inked and colored, of one of their characters in return!

Alright, kids. I'm stuck in a rut here. I need help deciding the colors of a costume. But my brain is fried.

SO HERES A FUN THING TO DO-- COLOR A PICTURE FOR YOUR GOOD BUDDY, HATTEROFWONDERLAND!

If you want to do this, I'll be much obliged.

The deviant who comes up with the best looking colors for the outfit will get a picture of their choice as drawn by me.

The Picture
It is the beginnings of a Kingdom Hearts character that I'm trying to create (anti-sue, I hope). So, think those types of colors (though anything goes, really).

Rules

1) As of right now, the hair and eyes for the character are dark brown, and her skin is pale peach. Please make a note of that! ^_^

2) GO CRAZY AND COLOR WITH ALL YOUR HEART! Any way is good. Use photoshop, colored pencils, crayons! I'm looking for good color scheme and any extra designs you think would look nice!

3) Once you have finished, please send me a note and a link to the finished product (that you have preferably loaded onto dA, in your scraps if you want). That way, I can add you into this journal and keep track of the different designs. Also, PLEASE credit me for the lineart.

4) HAVE FUN! The limit is 3 submissions per artist (I add this because some people want to do more than one design).

While I enjoy college and all that I get to do (and not do), and while I greatly enjoy putting high school whelps in their proper place, I'm afraid that leaves little room to draw and get stuff done.

My trade with is nearly complete, thanks to my Anthropology professor's lack of attention to her pupils. It should be up soon, you'll be happy to know.

Well, here I am in GLORIOUS Arizona -- Miles from water and three feet from HELL.

The drive over was seven hours long-- not exactly what I expected to do when I woke up this morning.

After pulling a late night sporking a recently uncovered Alice in Wonderland fan fiction, I had trouble sleeping AGAIN. I think I finally passed out around 5... -ish. I was roused by the insistent ringing of my house telephone (which no one answers anymore...). I dragged my lazy carcass out of my bunk around 12:14, and drudged to the bathroom for a shower. I was stopped by my mother.

Her: Alex, dad just called.
Me: Muhhh..?? =///=
Her: He's going to be driving out to Phoenix around 3 o'clock today, and he wants you to go. How about it? You can go see Sam!
Me: .. muhhhh... (Which roughly translates to: 'Ask me after I'm clean' )

After indulging in a cleansing shower, I decided that a road trip would be good for me. As I was dressing, Robert called. I asked him over so I could at least spend an hour with him. I let him know what was going on, and he in turn invited me to D*sneyland. I gleefully accepted.

The next hour was filled with packing a bag and snuggling. Dad got home around 2:40, and we set on our way.

We were stopped two seconds later when dad noticed a problem with the car battery. 40 minutes were wasted installing a new one. It was fixed, and we were on the way!

... Until we hit LA traffic. =.=

The seven hour drive was sort of nice in a way, though. It gave me a chance to reconnect with my dad. I've been sort of avoiding him recently, worried that he was mad at me for spending so much time with Robert. I'm his little girl, after all. We dropped the van off at Dad's friend's place to get inspected for the trip back, and we booked into our hotel around 11. The beds are so nice and comfy... Mmm~

I'll be home tomorrow, at any rate, around 5 or 6, if everything goes as planned.

To people at my school, especially. Since transactions will be much easier to do and stuff.

So, here's the price range:

$10.00 for a pencil drawing
$15.00 for an inked drawing
$25.00 for an inked and colored piece.

Here's what I'm willing to do (as far as I can think of right now...):

Canon Characters -- Y'know, like Sephiroth or Kenshin Himura to Ariel, the Little Mermaid or Tulio from The Road to El Dorado. These works will need a description of mood and action, like if someone's fighting or looking off into the distance. Y'know, that stuff.

Your Fan Characters -- That's right! Your own little OC will be immortalized in my works! Alone or shipped with a canon character, sure, why the hell not? These works would require an illustration of your character, since they've been previously concieved.

Original Characters -- We all have though hanyous and ninjas that don't really pertain to any existing show. Why not have fanart of them? They make you all warm inside! Same as Fan Characters.

You! -- Wanna portrait of your beautiful self? You got it! I'll need a photograph of you in order to make this one happen.

Crossovers -- Ichigo Kurosaki duking it out with Vincent Valentine!? Kiba and Princess Mononoke on a stroll? Sure! This will need a description of the mood, actions, and characters. I limit 4 characters per piece.

THINGS I WILL NOT DRAW

-Hentai. Anything of a perverted nature. That's right. Tentacle monsters and rape scenes are OUT.

-Extreme Violence. Please, don't ask for a dude tearing out another's innards out of their anus. It's just not pretty.

-Yaoi / Yuri. As much as I love it, I don't like drawing sex scenes. Shonen-ai or shoujo-ai is fine, though (i.e., kisses and cuddling, but no all out sex.).

-Nudity of a pornographic nature. Pretty self explanitory there. Tasteful nudity, such as modest breast or buttox exposure, is accepted.

-Mecha and Machine Weaponry. Not that I won't do it... I'm just really, really, really, really, really, really bad at guns and Gundams. ^_^;;

I think I'll stop with the rules now. Comment or note me if you want to discuss a picture.

Again, this is mostly for people who know me for now. When I figure out how to open a PayPal and stuff like that, then the range will be more out there.

Reginald kicked his heels and strode over like the stud me was, and asked me to dance. The children disappeared into the candy shop next door.

1. What is your character's name?
Invidious (Invidi, for short)

2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race?
Well, the creation of this charater was motivated entirely to add to a friend's comic (Invidi was to be a random filler-page character that had no storyline or relevance to the comic itself). I suppose you could call Invidi a 'furry', as it has fox-ish ears and a Yorkie tail.

3. What is the first thing your character would think of/do when he/she first wakes up?
With Zayn: Smile and stretch, then softly kiss the still slumbering inu hanyou on the cheek. Invidi would then rise and prepare breakfast for both (what can I say? The little furry's in love!)

Without Zayn: Sigh and smile as he remembers that today is another chance to prove his love!

4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
Hmm... Something with a casual 1920's look to it, or a Victorian hatter look. Casual.

5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?
The golden bell hanging from the blue-dyed lock of hair in front of his face. It means a lot to him.

6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?
Anyone who doesn't love ramen and tea as much as I do was never created in my head. HEATHENS!

7. How is your character similar to you?
Invidi is kind and caring, though sometimes he can love too much, and that can have some painful after effects. But he still cares and protects those he loves with a strong heart and cheerful disposition. He is much more clever and serious that he lets on.

8. How is he/she different?
Bit more of an airhead... Oh, and he's roughly 2,560 years old. And he's genderless (I refer to Invidi as a 'he', just because I feel like it. You can refer to him as 'it' or 'she', if you prefer [no one knows what it originally was!!]).

9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you?
Eh, no. I imagine Minamo Miyano (Voiced Suou Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club [Japanese]) as the perfect sound for Invidi.

10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?
Plan an elaborate and festive tea party, and invite all who cares to come.

11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them?
Not really. Everyone seems to like Invidi pretty well.

12. What advantages does your character have over you?
Longevity, definately. He's pretty durable, too. He heals pretty quickly, and has a high tolerance for physical pain.

13. What disadvantages?
He lets his past demons get the best of him sometimes, which usualy result in him disappearing for awhile to do some soul searching.

14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?
If I did, I forgot it. xD;;

15. Do you have any secret drawings only you know about?
Of Invidi? Not really. Maybe I should, though...

16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her?
Not as of now. I've yet to extensively use him in an RPG.

17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character?
Maybe that he's a bit of an airhead/whore. But he's only bedded with one person, and he's currently in love with Zayn.

18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be?
Hmm... The fast-healing bit would be nice.

19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person?
Uhhm, not really. Again, Invidi is my favorite, but he hasn't been used enough to develop anything THAT extensive.

20. Have you written any stories about your character?
Nope. I should, though.

21. How has your character changed since his/her first creation?
Invidi started out as female. Then he became genderless, then developed an actual personality. Irwin reportedly gently shooed away the animal, pulled the barb from his chest, and died a few moments later.

The footage that captured his death is currently the property of Queensland police as evidence for the official report. It has yet to be determined whether or not this footage will be released to the public.

Irwin was a fearless and fun man, always doing what he could to raise awareness for the protection and conservation of the beautiful and deadly creatures that share our planet.

Steve Irwin died doing what he loved, even if many may think that he should have been eaten by a crocodile or bitten by a cobra. He loved his work and the animals he strived to protect. His beautiful personality made him a friend to all who took his image into their homes and hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Terri, and children, 8 year old Bindi Sue and 3 year old Bob.

He went out like the hero he was, and the legend he leaves will forever be remembered in our hearts.

I met Steve Blum!! The voice of Spike (Cowboy Bebop), Darcia (Wolf's Rain), Vincent (Advent Children)~! He was so sweet and nice! And he gave me hugs and thought my name was beautiful! <333

It was rather funny how it came about. I was communicating with some friends and they pointed him out close by. I didn't realize it was him because I'd never seen his face before. He was talking on him cell phone and was stopped at the info desk. So, in pure L style (I was dressed as L from DEATH NOTE), I walk over and sit not so far away. Janine sees me sitting down in the middle of the floor and walks over.

Her: What are you doing there?
Me:
Her: Well, go talk to him!
Me:
Her: Wait, he's off now. Go! Go!

And he was wearing a necklace that signifyed that he was supporting AIDS research. That's so sweet of him.
