Stuff that did or might happen:

I want to get a new journal CSS.

I jammed my finger playing basketball last Friday but it's gotten better.

I got this weird cut/tumor/hole thing in my gums a week ago but it's gone now... almost. I can still see this weird circle inside my mouth where it used to be.

My dad is getting me and my sister a scanner so I might actually start posting more.

I have straight A's in high school so far. C:

~Maiison has been practically living in my apartment and we always terrorize ~MrEaters together.

I want to try out for an OCT.

I want to try to start my comic.

I've joined *OI-Crew and hope to participate in it more often.

I would like to finish my art trades/requests so I won't have to worry about anything anymore and just draw.

My dad gave my bird back to its original owner so I no longer have a pet. (Unless you count my sister as a pet.)

I'm still playing Maplestory a lot if anyone's interested in joining me.

I want to get a MLIA account. x3

My birthday was on Sept. 12th and I am officially 15 years of age. C8

Marching Band Camp is getting really rough too. The band director recorded ourselves performing the pre-game show and wow. We're actually pretty decent but we still need to work on a lot of things. It was weird watching myself march with such seriousness.
I think I'll go to get ready to sleep or something; it's been a long day...

Pants and shorts are my mortal enemies.
Did you know that I usually run around my apartment pantless? I despise pants. Especially shorts. I'd rather run around in my underwear.

I own more than 70 ties.
This isn't even my whole collection! On Halloween of 2008, I dressed up as a stereotypical nerd and cross dresser. That's when I wore my first tie.

On April 1st of 2008, I got 50 ties from my parents. (I've had around 20 before.) Now I wear ties on a daily basis.
AND YES, I AM A GIRL.

I like smelling things.
The first thing I notice when I enter a new environment is the smell. With people, I would go up to them smell them and their scent is the thing that would stand out in my head the most. If I can, I would lick them too.

I play the clarinet.
ENTERING YEAR 4, BABY!

I keep track of the books I've read.
I have this book that has a record of the books I've read over the past four years.

The internet gives me strength.
In some of my group of family of friends, I am the "creepy cousin that sits in the corner all the time".

The only people I spazz around to in real life is ~Maiison, ~MrEaters, and ~Momowoou. I tend to show my feelings more through the internet than real interactions. I AM A VERY SHY PERSON.

If I could, I wish I could become a Bio-Psychologist person.
Humans are interesting. The study of how everything works inside a human body is fascinating to me; especially the brain. Human behavior and their body functions... awww yeaaah.

I've never been a big fan of anime/manga.
Everyone always assumes that every Asian obsesses over it but I don't.

I'm just not interested in them. I love them, but not enough to "obsess over". I prefer Western cartoons actually.

I love retro cartoon styles. ~MrEaters has been forcing me to read/watch manga/anime lately though.

I just wanted to give a heads up that I am attending Marching Band Camp right now and it's going to take up a lot of my time. I'm sorry I can't check deviations or messages right now, I will get to them eventually.

Marching Band Camp is pretty fun... but it makes me so frelling tired.

I have to wake up at 7AM in the morning and walk all the way to the high school I'm going to this year. Then we start the morning with practicing drill and fundamentals for three hours... MARCHING TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT, SWEAT, MEMORIZATION, AND EVEN MORE SWEAT.

Then we have an hour for lunch.

And then we take another 4 hours inside to practice the music and memorizing them.

Then I come home, change, and go to the neighbor pool with my friends to cool off. It became a tradition.

Then I shower, lurk around the computer for a bit, read, and flop into bed.
Then the whole process starts all over again!

EVERYTHING IS ACHING. My legs can usually tolerate this kind of ~~child labor~~ hard core marching but my arms... THEY'RE LIKE STICKS. Even my toes are aching!

Oh and did I mention that my new tablet came on Monday?!

Arachnophobia: "an abnormal fear of spiders
Parasitophobia: "a fear of parasites"
Phasmophobia: "a fear of ghosts"
Entomophobia: "fear of insects"

I have all the phobias that I have stated above. (And that's only like... 5% out of all the phobia I have.

) I'm writing about my phobias because things just keep happening to make my phobias just envelope me.

Arachnophobia:
I was heading towards the bathroom to brush my teeth and pamper up before I go to sleep for the day when I suddenly see a spider just hanging.

Right in the middle of the bathroom.

I just screamed and called for my mom over and over again while I JUST

ed at the spider. (I STARED IT -- Oh I don't know -- SO IT WOULDN'T ATTACK ME.)

My mom soon came to my rescue and threw the spider into the toilet. (Usually she lets the spiders go but this time, she just... threw it in the toilet.

) Then she flushed it, with me and my sister just staring into the toilet.

BUT WE COULDN'T FIND THE SPIDER.

So we brushed our teeth with slight paranoia and when we peeked into the toilet again, IT WAS THERE.

I SWEAR, THIS THING WAS MOCKING ME.

With that, I slipped into my little bed and fell asleep with a little paranoia attached.

The next morning, which is today, I woke up and took a nice shower. When I came back to my room, THE SPIDER WAS BACK.

IT WAS HANGING OVER MY LAPTOP.
JUST THERE.
STARING INTO MY SOUL.

I screamed again and called for my mom... again.
"Maybe the spider likes you or something," she said. Then she thought about it again and said, "Maybe the spider wants to tell you something."

AAGGGHHH, I have a love/hate relationship with spiders. Since I also have Entomophobia, I'm glad that the spiders are keeping tabs on the population on insects... I also love reading about them. However, when I have real life situations with them, I FREAK OUT.

Parasitophobia:
Two days ago, I was watching Ponyo On The Cliff (I LOVE HAYAO MIYAZAKI'S FILMS.) with ~MrEaters through the internets. We were both on YIM, Yahoo Instant Messenger, and we just synced our movies.

Anyway, I flopped on to the bed with Tiffany, my laptop. After a while, I got one of those "tingy, scratchy feelings that science has not yet found the reason why" on my leg and I scratched it, TO FIND THAT IT WAS A COCKROACH.

OHMYLANTA I WAS FREAKED OUT AND JUMPED OF THE BED HYSTERICALLY.
_{Usually, MY ROOM IS THE CLEANEST OUT OF THE WHOLE APARTMENT and we usually don't get cockroaches. We live in a clean apartment, okay? If I lived in a dirty one, infested with bugs everywhere, I WOULDN'T HAVE THESE PHOBIAS, WOULDN'T I?}

Since my parents were asleep, I had to get my wits together and get a napkin and handle this myself. The poor thing was already dead though... So I grabbed it and stared at it for a while and then...

THIS THING STARTED TO SLITHER OUT.

Okay so the picture on the left is just a picture I got from google, BUT IT STILL HAS THE SAME CREEPY-NESS EFFECT.

I just ran STRAIGHT TO THE BATHROOM AND THREW IT IN THE TOILET. Then I stared at it, and ran back into my room.

Believe it or not, this already happened to me before. A long while ago we threw a beetle in the toilet. And the same thing came slithering out. I researched it and found that it was a Horsehair Worm. It's a parasite of beetles and cockroaches that takes control of the hosts brain and forces the host to drown itself so the devious thing can just come slithering out. 8D However, I had to research it again because that was a long time ago.

AND YES, I BASED OFF JENNY'S DESIGN TO THESE PANTS. I LOVE THESE PANTS. (They're actually capris but WHATEVER.) These pants are from Korea so you probably won't see anyone else wearing it... I'll also try to wear a name tag that says "HeartOfGold727" or somthing.

Er... the picture makes the pants look super fat. :I

Zohmylanta, I was walking to the library today with my mom and I just saw this car blaring, "WHAT IS LOVE"... :'D My initial reaction was "O_o" but then I started cracking up. xD Then I dialed ~Momowoou, who was too lazy walk to the library with us and decided to stay home.

"HEY MICHELLE, I WAS JUST WALKING AND SUDDENLY A CAR JUST PASSED BY US BLARING 'WHAT IS LOVE' 8D"
"WHAT."
"I KNOW RIGHT?"
"IS THAT ALL YOU CALLED ME FOR?"

Oh and I went to the pool yesterday with ~Momowoou and a bunch of our friends... And we discovered that our life guard is a total pervert! 8D

I hate wearing two piece and even one piece swimsuts... so my mom bought me this FOUR PIECE. xD Impossible you say? Well it consisted of a bikini top and bottom with swim shirt and shorts. :'D It is the ultimate swimwear set.

Anyway, my friend was also wearing a shirt but it was a regular shirt... and the life guard saw us coming in the pool and was like "TAKE IT OFF."

We were both like

And then recovered and said: "Wait, what?"

Then he replied, "The shirts. It's the rules."

And so we climbed out of the pull and started stripping off our shirts.

"YOUR LIFEGUARD IS A TOTAL PERVERT" is what my friend whispered to me as soon as we got back in. :I

Geez my life is full of surprises.

I am one of those people that are older than the majority of the people that are in their grade sooooo...

I am now done with 8th grade.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to believe that I was still in middle school this whole time.
It's just that, I was 13 when I was in 7th... so yeah.
Now I'm 14.
Turning 15.
And going to High School.
Yes.

I feel like I've changed a lot over the years, and learned a lot also.
dA also helped me learn more things about myself and develop a better understanding of people... I guess.

I don't feel like school is over though... It just doesn't seem right to me! I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow, take a shower, get dressed, and go to school.

Hmm... I feel weird right now.

And I'm tired.

I went to King's Dominion yesterday and I went bowling with a couple of my guy-friends today. I barely got any sleep between those two days so I'm about to drop dead out of my chair right now.

Okay.. more like 99.99% sure but STILL.

But I was really disappointed in how I did in exams.

I got a frelling C in my Spanish exam and it was a 79.5 percent!!! SO CLOSE TO A B, I AM FURIOUS.
And some preps did better than me.
So that made me even more depressed.

But not for long because I STILL HAVE STRAIGHT A'S!!!!

Oh and I went to the pool today with ~Maiison,~Momowoou, and ~MrEaters.
~MrEaters, YOU HAVE THE MOST ~~DELICIOUS~~ ABNORMAL BODY STUCTURE I'VE EVER SEEN. I was laughing so much, that I could barely breath and I had multiple cramps.

Sorry about the last journal, I just thought it was funny how I lost track of things and let my actions wonder away.

My mind's been very unfocused lately. Hasn't that ever happen to you?

Anyway, here's an update in life.

01. Exams coming up. Unit Tests tomorrow...

02. Happy birthday to ~Silent-Mime and a belated to =PancakesandWaffles!

03. Two major projects I need to finish up or I'll flunk History and English.

04. I'm starting to draw a lot more and working on developing characters... and stuff. I'm thinking about trying out for ~This-is-Live, *RiseOCT, and/or *TheReal-OCT to get some comic skills worked up.

05. So this is good bye for a couple of days/weeks. I might drop by sometimes but it's not likely... Maybe.

I donno'.

I'll probably work on Photoshop/Sai/Flash instead because I need to finish up some stuff.

Gotta' finish up homework and start on projects now.

BAD NEWS

- I've been crying myself to sleep.
Yeah whatever. My dad and I just had these arguments about how he laughs at me when I give him a personal, serious opinion. (I know it's a stupid reason to get all worked up about but it really matters to me because I look up to my dad a lot...) Now he makes fun of me by "looking" serious and telling me not to laugh.

Sometimes I just ignore him and stay silent but sometimes we get along. I hope we can fix our messed up daughter-father relationship soon.

SERIOUSLY. I have the curse that is the worst nightmare for all artists!

As you've noticed, I couldn't finish my audition for *EscapeFromNevara... You see, with Tiffany (my laptop) and Gary (my tablet) acting up for a few weeks didn't help. Then winter break ended with the start of midterms... which meant that my dad banned computer acess. Then third quarter began with a wave of projects and tests which swept me away with their angsty little arms.

And a few days ago, I found myself having some spare time so I started to work on my audition but then I realized I lost my script.

I LOOKED EVERYWHERE. Since I live in a small apartment, it was a bit helpful but I still couldn't find the notebook where I sketched it out.

Even my dad started to look at one point because he was getting worried how paniked I looked!

He kinda' gave up a few minutes later because I started to get all pissed off at everything I come in contact with.

That's the point where all my hope slipped away and then....

I GOT SICK.
Yeaaahhh. Stuffy nose, headache, mucua-in-throat kind of sick.

I'm still hacking up mucus with a red, stuffy nose, not to mention the zombie look to perfect it!

So now here I am, feeling like I want to kill myself for letting everyone down. I really wanted to enter this one, even though I had a high chance of being rejected. Here was an OCT, a once in a dA-life-time chance, and I failed it miserablly. I wanted to get a chance to battle my friends, people that have supported me.

Yes it's true, my Tiffany fell sick. I don't know why! I just came back from school one day, and found her very very ill.

She's always been very cooperative but she just ain't responding. My dad says he'll look into it but I think he forgot about her... I have to remind him again or she'll never feel better again! He's the only one in this family that knows anything about this stuff.

Gary just recovered from his amnesia from her and now she gets sick. *pouts*

How am I on the computer right now, you ask? Well I'm on my parent's which has a time limit because my mom goes on it very often.

Nothing else is going on in my life, except that I've been very sick lately. I would feel like I'm on the top of the world and then I would find myself cringing from a headache and nasuea the following second. It all started with this chest pain that would occur with swallowing, then it just became a chest pain, and then it went away. But ever since, I would get random moments of headaches, nasuea, chest pains, or a combination in between. Sometimes after excersise or just randomly. Does anyone know anything about this?

Wow... it's been a full year already?!

I've seen a lot of people writing a... "summary" of their year and I think I'll try that now. C:

Okay let's see... let's start at the beginning. When I found out that I had this wonderful contraption called "photoshop 7" and that I had some real life friends already on deviantart, I decided to get more active.

I started to make more art by scanning my traditional and using the pen tool to lineart them. (I didn't have a tablet then.

) I was very inexperienced with both drawing and photoshop but I just kept moving forward. I made some great friends on the way, and they inspired me to keep drawing. There were a lot of times where I would get frustrated with my own style an draw something over and over and over and over again until I finall give up...

Near the middle of the year, my dad finally ordered me a tablet, a Genius F610 to be exact!

I was so excited when I came home from school one Friday afternoon and the first thing I saw was a package in front of my door.

I started to experient immediately and found out that big tablets are very diffucult to master... I was only bit active, going online over the weekends and I had a severe problem of watching too many people...

I don't do it much anymore but...

I also got flash near May or something and after a few failed attempts, I decided that I should try again waaaaaaaaay much later.

I was still a bit concealing about my OCs and I was feeling down one day so I went on TegakiE and drew my most famous character so far, CHEF DEMETRI! I didn't know people would like him so much... I was just... doodling.

Then I was absorbed into this RPing club called *Madd-World (now moved to *xXThe-Open-VaultXx) and took up most of my nights. I don't have much time for it anymore though...

Probably into summer vacation, I entered my first OCT, *Perfect-Experiment... I gotta' say, I had a great time in it but I don't feel any proud of the work I have created for it. They were all last minute, rushed, and put together poorly. It's a miracle I lasted 2 rounds.

Then I went through this "secret" art block stage where I was so unsatisfied with my style and just stopped drawing much... It's also probably because I was so booked everyday, with all the school stuff going on in my life. But then when winter break came... I HAD NOTHING TO DO. SERIOUSLY. So now I have been super active in my dA life and... I'm actually satisfied with my style... for now at least.

When my art self-esteem was finally back, my scanner and tablet just betrayed me and stopped working.

My scanner is now officially dead.

It won't turn on. My dad said he'll get me a new one but that usually means he'll get one 500 years from now.

I have to keep bugging him about it now...

Also, my tablet is acting up. It won't detect the tablet pen when I draw and it's really lagging on some programs like flash. It's also turning red and won't let me right click on it. (Which I do a lot in both Tegaki E and photoshop.

) I can draw sure, but it'll look like someone pooped on it and tried to wipe it off with a rock. If anyone knows how to handle a Genius brand tablet, can you let me know what's wrong with it? Should I ask my dad if I can get a new one? NOT TO MENTION it's winter break. Why does everything have to happen during a vacation!?

I was also DYING to try out for the OCT, *EscapeFromNevara. I MEAN EVERYONE I KNOW AND LOVE ARE ENTERING IT. Everyone. Seriously. I get a once in a dA lifetime chance and my drawing tools start to fail.

Well, hello to those that currently inhabit my watch list!

It's been a while since I made a decent journal filled with the random words that happen to pop into my head. I would just like to inform you with random facts... about my life and the world alike!

With the help of ~Maiison's journal... I have found an interesting fact to a question that has been lingering the back of my head ever since I was little - Can men breast feed? It was quite a read!

I also got a new laptop... but it's really slow when I have multiple windows up (which I do really often to multitask.) And the typing sometimes lags too... but it's a widescreen and makes everything seem more spacey.

I've also started to wonder more about phobias... it was sparked by miss ~Silent-Mime when she drew a wonderful phobia picture.

I have quite a share of phobias for I am a child of many fears and insecure-ness!

It's very entertaining to pronounce them... it makes me sound more intelligent!

Yesterday. I was running to my friend's house. It was nice.

Ah, well I lost after all. Back to my other drawings!!! I will finish that Fanart Friday picture TODAY!!!

Hey I just found out that I might not have lost in PE! The judging I saw wasn't final! Just wanted to let you know that... But of course, it's not likely that I would win since one side of the judges did not rate me well. But on whoever wins, it was a thrilling experience!

Well, I lost my round for ...
I knew that my procrastinating ways would really make me fall... but it's been a fun ride! It gave me a chance to draw other people's OCs and get to experience a little comic making. I've also learned that OCTs are hard work! If I ever join one again, I will work hard and make sure I actually have the time for it!!! It's kind of ironic though - because marching band season is over... and winter break is coming up. I would've had lots of time for the last round! My opponent, =Demonic-Apricot is a really awesome artist, writer, and friend. I'm glad that she won! I had so much fun drawing her characters Hands and Teacher. Their designs are just so fun to draw!!! (You should totally check out her gallery. )

And you know what this all means?
I can now work on those OLD, DYING art trades, requests, projects, and tags from FOREVER AGO. I have about four art trades, three requests, my alphabets theme, and about two or three memes! BUT THE THING IS, I also have a new project that is going to be introduced...

... a gullible and childish teenager stumbled upon a site called deviantart and made herself an account out of the blue. Of course, she left the account a bit vacant and empty for a while...

... AND no one knows how her interest in art got bigger for she suddenly started to post up things, make friends, and became active.

Then middle school took a toll on her and she started to stray away, often coming on weekends and catching only a few minutes or hours during school days.

She made many friends and thought of them as sisters, and felt like dA was a second home.

PE: Victory!
Well, I won my first ever round of *Perfect-Experiment! It was a close call and the news came to me as a shock! If you just imagine PE as school and the judging points to be a grade on a test, I would've gotten a -B on my entry. To tell you the truth, I thought I would lose since I rushed quite a lot and... the pages look so BAD. I'm going to color them and redraw some of the panels when I have time, but I would have to work on my round 2 entry first! But the problem is that, I don't know when round 2 is starting and I also don't know who I will be versing! I also might make some spectator entries.

Also, my opponent did an awesome job, and I'm so happy that I got to verse him! (He's *CharlieTae, and I demand you to visit his gallery. )

DOG vs. MOM
My mom got bit by a dog and it scared my family half to death because there was a chance of the dog owner sueing us. O_O

Well, it all started last weekend when my family and I followed my dad to work (because he likes it when we come with him on Sundays ) I was just browsing the web like any other nerdy kid would do when my mom took my younger sister on a walk. Suddenly, they come back a few hours? later, my mom bleeding from the stomach... with the crazy story that a dog attacked and bit her. My sister stayed with my dad while my mom and I went to the hospital with the dog owner. The dog owner was the talkitive and actions-before-thinking type, that gets really annoying... Since my mom couldn't speak English very well, I had to translate to the doctor and the nurses (and that is a very hard task with medical terms!) We stayed there for a couple of hours, and I was very frustrated because it took them 4 HOURS to finally treat her! AND THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE NEARLY $1400! All they did was disenfect, apply medicine and a bandage! The dog owner was in hysterics and started blabbing on to the people in line behind us. I FINALLY GET SOME TIME ON MY COMPUTER. I actually finished my homework and since today is a none-marching band day, I get to laze off in front of my laptop again. Even on none marching band days, I'm usually very busy.

Just some random news:

I got a snazzy new cellphone and it's loaded with video games I downloaded.

I only have one week to finish my round 1 in the *Perfect-Experiment... THIS IS TORTURE. D: I don't even have a script yet!
Drawings been hard too because I can't find the time. I always just doodle during classes.

Ha ha ha, I see that you people read the journal entry that my sister made... AND NOTHIN IN IT IS TRUE. BUT I DO LIKE EATING BABIES. Oh wait. I mean, I DON'T LIKE TO EAT BABIES. She actually told me that she wrote a journal on my deviantart... if she didn't tell me, I wouldn't have found out until SATURDAY! Now I need to change the password so she won't do it again.

It's also my birthday today. :3 I am "officially" 14 in an hour because I was born in 4 o'clock PM. Many people at my school gave me presents, sand "Happy Birthday" at lunch and decorated my locker. It was really awkward because they never did any of that stuff in the past two years. It surprised me. A LOT.

And today is another marching band performance for a football game and we're going to be playing "The Phantom of the Opera"! I've never seen the musicals or anything but they sure have awesome music in it!

*Perfect-Experiment is also getting hard to work on but I'll manage. I'm going to try a whole new different comic style for this round because I thought it would be easier. My opponent already has one page up, go check it out in his gallery. *CharlieTae
