I realized this while I was practicing piano and reflecting on my school's poetry coffee house that we had awhile ago. I literally stopped playing, squealed, and clapped my hands together real quick. I think I may have said something but I forget what. Anyway, the reason this excites me so is because I like to end haiku* with any random five syllable word and now I can add procrastination to my arsenal. Frickn' sweet. Also, I could write a more serious haiku about it if I so pleased. Even sweeter. Oh, by the way, after having my mini-freak out and realizing how lame it was, I said to myself, "I have to journal this on deviantart." Or something along those lines.

If you're wondering how I went from poetry coffee house to procrastination, I'll tell. Well, no, I won't tell you, but I'll type it and then you can read it. I went up to the mic, so I could recite a "poem." My exact words were, "Hello, my is ------------- and I'd like to recite a poem on procrastination." Then I paused for a little while, not saying or really doing anything. Once I was done with that, I leaned toward the microphone and said, "I'd like to recite a poem on procrastination, but unfortunately I haven't written it yet." I intend to keep the joke up. And I won't actually read/recite a poem on procrastination until senior year. But before I do that, I'm going to put it off by rambling and reading other poems.

So, now you know something you had little to no interest about. Isn't that great?

*A haiku is a Japanese poem that consists of three lines, the first five syllables, the second seven, and the last line also has five syllables. So long as it follows those rules, its content can be whatever the heck you please. And in Japanese, most words are the same in plural and singular form, so the word for more than one haiku, would still be haiku.

To anyone reading this (which is probably just you, ~hikari-midorichan, you can use the formatting in story entries. You know, italics, bold, etc. I thought you couldn't before because I never in any stories on this site but you can. I'm pretty happy about. I also learned how to do this

The main reason for this journal was to inform Midori, and anyone else who might come across my page, about being able to do that. So I guess that's it. I'm gonna go eat my pizza now.

1: Okay, I SERIOUSLY use the word seriously a lot! Seriously, I should get a thesaurus or something. That way I can stop the serious abuse of the word seriously. Okay, seriously though, I'll stop. GAH! There is again!!!

2: I didn't learn to ride a bike till I was... old. And when I started to it was easy. But I did accidentally ride into a tree and my father and brother wouldn't let me forget about it. I'm still trying to.

3: I'm a very bad procrastinator (or good, depending on how you look at it) I want to do something about but... Well

4: I don't let I've met in person read the stories I write. Why? I have VERY low self-confidence and I'm afraid people will think my stories suck and that they'll insult me. It's easier not to let such things get to me on the net.

5: My friend once stole my notebook while I was in the bathroom (damn you, Bladder!) so she could read the story. She said it was good.

6:Most people at my school seem to think I'm a good writer. I know because some have told me so! YAY! TOTAL YAY-NESS! I'm still not going to let anyone read my fictional stories. They can wait till I get more self-confidence or until the book is published danggit!

7: I am horrendously shy! Unless there's not a lot of people around or I'm at home, I act NOTHING like this in real life. One of the things I like about the web is you can be your self easier.

8: Uhhh.... If I'm such a good writer why am I having so much trouble thinking of an eighth thing?! Oh wait, I got it! I stammer a lot some times. My mouth gets ahead of my mind sometimes or my mind gets so far ahead of my mouth that my mouth goes into over-drive to keep up but it can't! So I metaphorically stumble over my words! It's annoying. And sometimes when I talk too fast and/or stammer I have to repeat myself like NINE times! You know this could actually counts as two? Oh well, might as well do three then. Yet another reason I like the net is because you do not have to worry about your mouth getting ahead of you or going into to over-drive. All you ahve to wrory abotu id you're finers screwoing everything up. lol

Okay, I just checked, and I did not screw up. Yay me! I wanna say more stuff. Well, you guys can't hear me so I guess I'd just talking to myself. Write more stuff? No, I'm typing, not writing. I don't view my art as good enough to post (YAY Low confidence!) and I am very paranoid about my orginal stories/artwork being stolen. I'm more of a writer and I have basically come up with my own little university and I've been devolping my characters since I was twelve. You'd be surprised how much some have changed. I intend to get a book published using them some day so I really don't want them stolen. I'd do fanart or fanfiction or pictures of wolves but I don't have any ideas. Also, I can't draw wolves. Not that I've tried very.

Sigh. I'm bored. I just got finished writing a short story. I want to be able to put it in my book but I'm willing to post it on here. I'm not going to tell anyone what it's about.
