Decides to be difficult. FJKLADJFDKJAS;FD;AS. I had a crapload of sketches I wanted to upload, too, and I'd post pictures of my paintings if I stopped being too lazy to go grab my phone's USB cord. The sketches included Desier, an OC from an original story I want to adapt into my novel (which I will, me and my friend Judy came up with hilarious ways he and Luther could interact). Desier was inspired by Princess Mononoke and lived in a place called the Greatwood home to many, many different mystic creatures of titanic proportions. The Greatwood as Desier knows it is only a "shade" of what the great valley of Vallis (which means "valley" in Latin LOL) once was in milennia past, coming into contact with Luther's Vallis through a magical backlash as epic as Odysseus's journey. In a short little venture in primitive Vallis, Desier comes to Luther's Vallis and finds his own way to live.

There was also a sketch of Aster contemplating Ratatosk's core, a random sketch of Edward (my OC, NOT THAT FJKLADSJFKLJDSAFJADLSJF;JA;SFJ;ASFKDSJAFJS;JF;LASJFLKAJS "vampire."), and one of a griffin (also from my novel) named Razorfeather, colored like golden sand with black feather tips and markings around the face. Still undecided if Razorfeather's a girl or boy griffin. Looks like a girl, though.

Other than that, bought a few books (The Black Gryphon by Mercedes Lackey; really liked it, MUST BUY NEXT TWO BOOKS, and a guidebook to gemstones ), read them, need moar to read. So I've been actually working on my novel. I finally have all the pieces I want in place with a basic plot to follow outlined so I don't need to change anything around so much anymore. And I have a beginning I actually like, where you get a basic idea of Luther and co's lives for the past decade, see Reno's erratic personality (bumming blacksmith workshops at any time of day or night haha) and he begins teaching Luther magic. Where I conveniently get to tell readers about how magic works in my story.

I had this elaborate thing based on chakras (no, not Naruto chakras >_&lt with magical energy being in the spine. I went with something simpler instead, which I'm too lazy to explain. Only your pretty golden ring with a pretty jewel is the source of your unfathomable power as a mage, if your magic doesn't break it. Other objects can be used, living or nonliving, but jewels and metals are the main mediums of magic. Cause they, y'know, came from the planet's blood, so to speak.

That, and I'm procrastinating my Spanish homework and drinking too much cream soda.

For outdoors work. I remember trying to grow carrots one summer, but only one (mini) survived. I think I'll stick with flowers, if I get to plant anything. I know there might be spare flowerpots I can use. Anyway, I need some extra cash to pay my debt to my school (only $15 of which is actually incurred by me; the other $8.13 is a fee yearbook forced on me for a senior ad I never wanted), so I offered to trim the front yard for my mom. Which she agreed to.

IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THAR. The three or four rosebushes took over most of the walkway, and there are these woody, leafy shrubs in and around the hedge. So I took a pair of clippers and gardening gloves and attacked it. Some of the thorns were HUGE. I skinned my thumb. It isn't bleeding, but it was burning, so I put a band-aid with neosporin on it. Then there was the matter of trying to stuff all the thorny greenery into the greens pail, which was already half-full from the jungle out back. So, uhm, I just smashed the lid on it. It worked pretty well.

The front yard is a carpet of weeds, particularly the white dandilions whose seeds float on the wind. My mom just vaccumed inside the house, and I come inside with all those fluffy seeds on my shoes and pants. Oh joy~ So the roses are pretty tame now, and I didn't finish trimming the shrubs because it was hot and they were hard to cut. I need the gigantic clippers, but I can't find them. Boooooooo.

And stupid people just threw trash in our lawn. Mmmmkay, just because our lawn looks like a wasteland doesn't mean it's a landfill! Jerkfaces. Boooooooo. Doubleboo.

Oh yeah, and Corel Painter's fixed. So I'll start posting colored stuff again soon. Sure, it's not Photoshop, but it has one thing Photoshop doesn't--IT IMITATES TRADITIONAL PAINTING OH YEAHHHHH.

And I'm pissed at my art teacher 'cuz he won't let me use oil paints, even though he told me before, "You should use oils!" Jerk.

UGH. Whoever had the oh so bright idea of putting Kratos as a cameo boss in ToV should be shot repeatedly and thrown to the wolves. JFKLDAJSFKLJDSL;AFKDLSFJL;DSJAFL;KAS.

I beat Nordopolica's 200 man melee tournament with Yuri, Raven, and Repede. I almost beat it with Rita (LEVITATION<3), but freaking Kratos killed me, but that's not what I'm upset about.

Yuri's not cursed. Estelle's cursed. When I played her in the 200 melee, I got petrified not even halfway through. Second time, I accidentally equipped Baratos's ring when I was looking for Shizel's Necklace (but it's only equippable by Rita anyway), so I couldn't change my equipment or use items. Then when I was fighting Shizel she hits me with (miasma lol) contamination, so in addition to not being able to use items, I can't use my artes. And for some reason, Estelle's healing artes DON'T WORK. WTF. They worked in the other melees, so what the hell?! In spite of this, I defeat Shizel and Barbatos (TAKE THAT DOUCHEBAG) and get all the way to Kratos. Can't heal myself, can't use items or artes ... so I die.

Third time, I got all the way to Kratos ... and he kills me because he has insane chaining combo'ing and has a stupid shield thingy every three seconds after I break it. I can't even get up to run away because he's pretty much raping Estelle. So I end up dead with him almost dead and only two minutes to go. FUCK YOU KRATOS.

And that was on Easy Mode.

I don't know why they put Kratos there as a cameo, since we fought him three times in Symphonia. Big whoop. I know it's prolly because he's the most popular, but there's no fun in fighting someone you've fought before. Dhaos was great because of DHAOS BLAST AND DHAOS LASER (plus I love his voice), I never played whatever game Shizel's in (Eternia ...?) and I never played Destiny, though I still hate Barbatos for his NO ITEMS EVER attack.

Since Dawn of the New World was in development at the same time as Vesperia, it'd have been cooler if Vesperia had a cameo of Emil and Marta in Nordopolica (or Richter), and DotNW Yuri and Repede in Meltokio (I mean c'mon, monster and human teams, right? Hahaha). Now I hate Kratos. I want to stab him repededly. (Did you notice the pun there? Hahahah *Slash'ed*)

So I'm almost done with all the insane projects my teachers have been giving me. I've been done with my economics project; I just need to form and practice my presentation (and stretch it for 15 minutes ... gah). There's my visual essay in my English class (we began presenting them, but I haven't even started mine yet ... eeeek. It's really simple ... I just need text, images, soundtrack, etc. I just need to put it together. iMovie, work your magic! Appleworks shall help, and Sound Studio~). I have two tests tomorrow: a vocabulary one in Economics and a math test. Econ I studied for, I already knew more than half the terms. For math, though, I only copied down formulas, and we did practice a bit in class today. We're allowed a page of notes, so I'm going to use the formulas, though I'unno how to use the binomial theorem formula or the binomial distribution ... For the former one, I'm prolly gonna do it longhand (generic rectangle ftw!), even if it's something crazy like (2-3y) to the seventh power. Wtf.

I also have an essay in English due Monday (not that hard, she practically outlined the subject for us). I don't know when we're presenting the Health stuff, but I do know that it's only 4 minutes long and my topic is vaccines, which I know plenty about. Pretty much dead disease causing agent that are introduced to people so that they build immunity. Ta-dah!

Then there's the art project. Wheeee. We have two weeks per project, the current one's Fantasy Ride, where three or more people in different poses are riding something people wouldn't normally ride, which isn't limited to animals. We're supposed to be doing it all on paper now, since we're running out of canvas materials and my teacher doesn't want us to make any more, even though there's plenty for the rest of this year ... he's saving them for the next year's students. SCREW THEM. I WANT CANVASES D8< There's at least one canvas I can paint over, and some others if my older sis gives me the okay.

So my Fantasy Ride has Raven from Tales of Vesperia riding a watipi (Native American name for an elk), bending almost backwards, aiming his bow at two following pursuers: Desier (my original character) riding a velociraptor (utahraptor in size) along the banks of a river (the elk's in the water), and in the background by the green rolling hills is a giant wolf (I was watching Princess Mononoke hahaha), ridden by Rita Morido (from Vesperia), pointing the way for her wolf to go.

In art class I tend to generally produce less quality work than if I was working on the thing at home. At home, I'm more focused, there's less background noise, no one wants to randomly talk to and distract me, and I have more paint colors to work with. Plus I can watch movies or listen to music as I work, which I obviously can't do in class. I'm also more comfortable at home, sitting on the floor with a pillow or a blanket (dun care about stains lol) using the low coffee table to paint on. I took the project home today, worked on it for three hours straight, then when I looked at the clock ... why hello, Mr. 9 O'clock at night! When did you get here?

The project is pretty much almost done. When I brought it home, there was only the river, the elk, and part of Raven. Now there's Desier and his raptor, Rita and the wolf god, a background, and said background painted with only the people and animals remaining. I also shaded the hills and highlighted where the sun's rays hit the hills and river. There's also splashing water where Raven's elk jumped in the river. Whoo-hooooooooo. I could prolly finish it tonight ... but it's almost midnight, so I'm gonna bring the project to school along with my paints so I at least have more colors and do I dare say higher quality paint ... yeah, I do.

The only thing I'm worried about is painting the people ... they're small, so it can get difficult. I can manage it, I just don't like doing it. And that's to say nothing of the shading and highlighting ... dammit. Ah, well. Impressionism is one of my favorite styles anyway. Screw fine detail! At least until I get better at said fine detail.

I didn't like painting much at school. But now that I had a chance to spend some quality time doing it, I realized how much I love it. I forgot how much I loved it, so I didn't look forward to painting at school. I guess that saying is true: if your hobby becomes your work, you might not like it as much as you did.

I also started writing a short story (I hope it's short) about Desier. I'll hold off saying anything major until I get something posted on either Fictionpress or here. I will say that it involves his velociraptor, whose name is Wolfheart.

Doing my homework. I've got so many projects. My teachers ... jafkldjsa;fjdl;as. First up is my economics business plan project that's worth 200 points. That's due this Tuesday. I have a general idea; I just need to do the market research and put it together. For English I have three things: a movie review (that was due the Friday before break), a visual essay (not sure when that's due), and a book report (got that pretty much covered ... in my head). Plus there's the Health current events and project. I know I'm doing a brochure on vaccines, it's just a matter of doing it.

Oh, yeah, and the math homework. Psshhhhhh algebra. Whatever. I still have to do that online orientation for college. Whoever said senior year of high school was easy should be thrown into a pit of mega-dense aer and angry Entelexeia, and an angry Repede. And my art project. I brought it home, but did nothing with it. It's sitting on the fireplace. I don't like it. Stupid patriotic art project.

I'm almost done with one of my extra credits, though.

I also doodled a Rita BLAH BLAH BLAH'ing Tidal Wave. I need to fix Corel Painter so I can color stuff again.

As for games ... I got stuck in the Vesperia EX dungeon, the Labyrinth of Memories. Things were going just fine until I ran into a Gattsuo memory. JFKADSJFLKDJSAL;FJLS;AJFKLDJSALF;AS IT KILLED ME DEAD. And for some reason, I couldn't use any mystic artes. I was in level 3 overlimit, I used an arcane arte (spell, in this case), held down B (with the special skill equipped), but no mystic arte. I think maybe that's because the boss poked me before I could use it. Dumb.

Fanfic progress ... what progress? I haven't touched any of the multi-chaptered I should be working on. I'm iffy on the latest chapter of Dimensional Rift, and something one reviewer said destroyed my drive to work on Flight of the Pheonix. I usually don't let stuff like that get to me, and it wasn't like they were flaming me or anything ... it was like something broke inside. Argh. I WILL get to it, though, no matter how long it takes.

Lessee, they just left off at Daath, where Tear wanted to report to Ion about the increase in the Planet Storm's activity. I need to look at the synopsis; I can't remember everything that happened.

Plus, I've also a fic in the works (a short one, I hope, no more than seven to ten chapters), a ToVxToA crossover where ToV charries are in Auldrant, and Estelle is a distant relative to the Kimlascan throne ("red" hair and green eyes, lololol), Raven is Van and Tear's cousin (C'mon, he looks a lot like Van!), Yuri is Cantabile's brother or some such (I'm not the only one who thought they looked alike, right?), Flynn is in the Oracle Knights (Malkuth doesn't really have knights, and he does not have Kimlascan colors; Alexei might be in the Kimlascan knights), Yuri had been an Oracle Knight dropout, Karol's in the merchant's guild (Astor lolol), and Rita is Jade's daughter. Whoooooooo.

It mainly focuses on the last bit. I'unno if I'll ever post it, though.

Welp, that's what's been going on with me in a nutshell.

Because I am currently obsessed with dragons and the best dragon games are the Spyro games. Anywho, I started writing a fanfic post Year of the Dragon (PSX). The main character is (haven't decided his name yet) a Magic Crafter hatchling rescued from the Sorceress. He can glide, breathe fire, hover, swim, charge ... he even has his own dragonfly, a female named Stardust. But he can't use magic. He's a Magic Crafter, and he can't freaking use magic. This bothers him. A lot. So he goes on a quest that spans the old world Spyro and the Forgotten Worlds to find and use his dormant magic.

Maybe it has something to do with being hatched in a cursed tomb ...

Because I love these characters, I'm plugging in Malefor (who is not yet evil), Cynder (because she's so hardcore like that), Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador (LOVE ), and Cyril. And the Chronicler. I shall find a way to plug in the breath abilities, but no so that they're based on the dragon's color. Including Bubble Breath, because despite how ETD was utter fail, Bubble Breath was and is ABSOLUTE FREAKING WIN.

Spyro and Cynder can fight like they can in DotD, and they can also fly. I'm including Dragon Maleficent, and she has actual WINGS. Maleficent is Malefor's dragon lady~

Our little Magic Crafter (same age as Spyro was in Ripto's Rage)'s love interest is a lady dragon named Vivian (or Valda/Valeda), a Peacekeeper. Her dragonfly is a male named Rhun. She was hatched in Midday Gardens.

This will also be my first Old School Spyro fic.

A new pair o'glasses, and a copy of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for the 360. TWO PLAYER AND FLYING AT ANYTIME YEEEESSSSS. But I won't be able to play until I finish my homework, and then I'll have to wait some more because my sister's playing stupid Left 4 Dead ... I hate it because she plays it ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Almost the entire time I'm home from school all I hear is blaring gunfire from the other room. GAH. I would've been on my second playthrough of Vesperia with most of, if not all, the optional costumes by now if she'd let me play half as much as she plays. JFKLADJSL;FJDKLSAJLFKDJLKSAJFLDK;JSA;LFDAS;. I'm contemplating getting up super early in the morning to play for an hour or so before I go to school.

Anywho, I can see much, much better with my new glasses; my last pair were over a year old. It's like HD with glasses 8D I wonder if anyone at school'll notice that I have new glasses. Maybe, maybe not, and then whether or not I'll actually tell them I have new glasses depends on whether or not I feel like it.

Homework ... Algebra II isn't due until Wednesday, and I took a lot of notes, so if I follow the formuals, I doubt I'll have any serious trouble. I even managed to identify the types of equations! *feels proud* <--not the best math student.

My English and Economics teachers are working us pretty hard. In English we have an essay due this Friday, with an analysis, and the Friday after that a book report, the details of which I need to get from another classmate (as in what kind of book). In Economics we're working on a business plan that's worth 200 points and 50 points of which include a 15 minute presentation. JKLSJAKDFJKLSAJFKLDSAL;JFDSAFLSA. Tomorrow my teacher's checking the class for business name, a motto, and a logo. I have all three of those: *insert last name*'s Art Supplies. The motto is, courtesy of a friend at school, "Where fine arts are found." (It's an art suppiles shop, with canvases, paintbrushes, etc). The logo is a canvas with an ornate first letter of my surname, a used paintbrush lying next to the canvas. <3333

For English we're using the essays and analyses as bases for our eventual visual essays, which are worth a ton of points, but my English teacher doesn't have a rubric for that. For English we're also reading 1984, by George Owell. We're still in the uber beginning, where Winston dreams of his parents. It's interesting, but not something that sucks me in, at least so far.

College, starting summer semester of this year. Ohhh yeah. I feel accomplished. I didn't know what to pick for my major, but since I am going to transfer to an art university in two years, I chose art. Welp, I can change it later if I want to ... it'd kinda suck if I couldn't find a job because no one wants to hire someone who majored in art. The most likely other thing I'd choose to major in is ... language, I guess. I am learning Spanish and Japanese, so once I get at a certain point of being able to speak one or the other or both to other speakers, there're all sorts of jobs available for such people.

Since it's a community college, finances aren't really an issue yet, but transportation is. I have my permit, so I can drive as long as I have someone age 25 or over with a liscense with me, but the driving instructor didn't sign it ... *shrug* We'll figure that out later. For now, I know I'll get to drive the piece of junk minivan ... unless we don't get another car for my sister before then (her car was totaled by a dude with an SUV who FELL ASLEEP ON THE ROAD. WTF). If I still had my bike, that'd be okay ... if not, then I guess either my mom or my dad will have to drive me. Wheee, just like high school.

I found our digital camera ... just not the cord to plug it into the computer ... so even though I've photographed my Four Knots art project (and want to photograph the Giant Flower and Dancer--both on canvas), I can't post it here yet. Booooooo.

On another note, I've gotten to Riku's story in Re: CoM. I fought Vexen once, I'm at Neverland and lost to Captain Hook ... so I've been leveling. Except the controller went crazy (scrolls through my deck without my touching any buttons, the L1 and L2 buttons won't work, most of the D-pad won't work and it goes up and down through the menus), so I couldn't really play much. It made saving my game difficult. Boo.

I have like a demon cough that WON'T GO AWAY *goes to get cough drops*

Anywho, after forever of letting it sit idle, I've been writing for my Kingdom Hearts fanfic: The Other Organization. It's basically a fun thing to write my friends at school and I if we were in the KH universe ... with our genders reversed. My character is Berek, he uses magic and a halberd (rip Judith's moveset hahaha). In Traverse Town, after most people have gone courtesy of Sora defeating Ansem, an organization called the MCA sets up the Second District as its home. The MCA's purpose is simple: they find people who've lost their homes thanks to the darkness, teach them to fight the Heartless, and they have three choices: go home, find a new home, or stay in the MCA and continue to help people. Basically to help people back to their feet.

Lots of MCA members have gone with the threat of the darkness from Kingdom Hearts, but some still remain. The leaders want to make sure Organization XIII's activities aren't a danger to the MCA or anybody else. Ultimately they decide it is not, because Org. XIII wants the eradication of Heartless, which is good for everyone involved. But with the building of Kingdom Hearts again, the forces of darkness have been gathering their strength ...

One day Berek goes to Hollow Bastion, and he meets Mustadio, a machinist who is helping to rebuild the city. Mustadio says his world was lost to the darkness because a man wanted a pretty stone. Before Berek can ask what he meant, Mustadio leaves a strange stone in Berek's keeping and goes on his way. Berek decides to go see Yen Sid in Twilight Town, if anyone knows what this stone is, it has to be him, the greatest mage in the universe.

The stone turns out to be a Zodiac stone, one of thirteen with the likeness and powers of the zodiac houses of night in the sky. Berek has Taurus. Yen Sid in his youth was part of an elite order of mages called the XIIIth Order. One mage each had one of the zodiac stones. However, some were corrupt with the stones' power, and Yen Sid ended up having to use the thirteen stones to seal back She from the Great Darkness, the Deepest Darkness. He leaves Berek with these cryptic words: from She came the first Silver.

So, while Berek ponders that, he goes to the train station, where he sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy. After a misunderstanding (involving a FIre spell, a Reflect spell, and an angry Donald), Berek runs off on skateboard, down the slope, and collides into Hayner (who he'd accidentally landed on through a twist in the corridor of darkness earlier). Heheh.

Then, when Berek finally gets home to the Red Room in Traverse Town (which he shares with roommates Adam and Klein), he's attacked by a sugerhigh Shadow and a Neoshadow, neither of whom can get at Berek's heart thanks to the zodiac stone. Tired, and at no threat from the Heartless (who just weren't leaving), Berek goes to sleep. Klein and Adam later wake him up.

"Wake up, Berek, wake up! There's a Neoshadow in the kitchen!"

"What's it doing?"

"It's ... it's ... making BREAKFAST!"

"... What?"

"It's making a ham and cheese omelette ... with basil!"

" ... I like basil ..."

"Berek, that's not the point!"

The Heartless are two of my friends who later (thanks to the zodiac stones' power) are restored to their former selves. In the meantime the Neoshadow is the housekeeper and the Shadow is the object of a new game (badminton except with a Heartless).

There's also Nimue, the female version of my friend Diego. She is the only one who could get into Castle Oblivion when none others from the MCA could. There she found in Vexen's old lab a Dusk (which she named Waffles) that can evolve into either a Samurai or a Dancer. Nimue is trying to make it a Dancer; Berek a Samurai. It ends up turning into a new Nobody entirely: a Breakdancer. *facepalm*

That said, Nimue is using Merlin's old house as a stash place for all the things she steals and all the violins Waffles procured for her.

Also, lest I forget, the object of Berek's adventure is to collect all thirteen of the zodiac stones (some as treasure, others as rewards from FF ppl, the rest are in the hands of the Organization) and once again beat back She from the Great Darkness. She extends her emergence through the Silvers of the universe: Riku, Sephiroth, Kuja, Setzer, Kadaj, Yazoo, Loz, etc. Because in KH, apparently silver hair is a sign of DARKNESS~ That means Berek would have to fight the Silvers with the power of the stones. Fighting Riku ... is not gonna get him anywhere with Sora or Kairi.

Berek also ends up fighting against Adam, who aligns himself with Org. XIII because he believes that what they're doing is not bad--they're trying to regain their hearts. Berek agrees, but the Org. is using the zodiac...

Was delicious, but could have been done so much better. The part where the floor caved made me laugh, because the way it happened reminded me of the Absorption Gate segment of my TotA fanfic, Flight of the Phoenix; except it wasn't Tear who fell and Luke grabbed for, it was Jade.

Anyway, maybe this was to show just how much of a level gap there was between Luke and Van, but the fight with Van was ... lacking. Just doesn't capture the epicness of it there was in the game. Though I guess they're saving that for the fight on Eldrant.

And apparently Guy and Jade are much more epic in the anime. It was like, they rush in, one move each, and then Van sticks his sword in the ground and just topples over, laughing maniacally. Uh-huh.

Though, stupid fangirl I am, I giggled over and over when Luke was talking to Guy in Keterburg. THEY WERE ROOMIES LOL. And Mieu slept next to Luke. Dawwwwwww.

And now Ion and Frings are gonna go bye-bye next episode. ION. FRINGS. NOOOOOOOOOO. It's kinda weird how I recently played through these parts of the game and then see them so soon in anime form.

So, uhm ... is Tower of Rem gonna be next episode, too, or later? B/c the preview showed the replicas ... It's prolly the Isle of Feres. If they screwed up the Tower of Rem segment, I will be extremely displeased.

Oh yeah, and I'm sick. With a ton of homework. Bleeeehhhh. Though it is interesting to sneeze and cough at the same time.

Because my art class is the best class ever and nowhere in other high school art classes or even colleges do you get to build your own museum quality canvas. 'Tis all finished now, and we will begin painting on them this week~

Putting the frame together was pretty straightforward. It was only 16 1/2" by 24" so it didn't need a brace. We took a length of wood, measured, marked, and cut the pieces with a power saw. I dunno what the make or model of the saw is, but it's crazy precise. Then we put the frame together with triangular supports of plywood. Hammers and nails, hahaha. I split the wood four times. Meh.

Then we got to get our cuts of canvas cloth, stretch them and staple them over the frame. I have to use both my hands to use the staple guns (tiny delicate fingers oh noes), so the canvas ended up being too loose. My classmate and later my teacher had to make the canvas tighter.

Then I got to gesso it. It's a white polimer paint, and of course I was wearing a black shirt, haha. But it was pretty old, so it didn't matter if I got paint on it. Which I did.

So now I've got my canvas all gesso'd up. I get to paint on it tomorrow (after I sketch on it).

Our current project is GIANT FLOWER. Peonies were too frilly for my taste (Emperor Peony, your manliness is called into question, haha). I was thinking about asters, but in the end I decided on gaillardias for their wider petals and richer colors. Not just because of Gaillardia Galan Gardios, hahaha.

I think I lost my reference, though, so I'll be printing out another pic of gaillardias.

There, the warning's in the title. So I got Vesperia for Christmas, and I've been playing for at least five or six hours a day. Left off in Myorzo, the floating Krityan city, though I kinda rushed through that (still need to look for Estelle and Raven, who've taken off and activated a warp blastia).

First off ... I was not aware that the letter 'x' made an 'k' sound like in Entelexeia.

So there were two ancient races of Terca Lumereis--the Entelexeia and the Krityans. The Entelexeia look like beasts, but they can talk, and it's implied they live long lives or are even immortal (Phaeroh said as much, "says the creatures who call this world home for such a short time"). Krityans can communicate with the Entelexeia. They invented the blastia, whose cores are condensations of aer made from processesed fragments of apatheia, the crystals formed from the aer in the bodies of the Entelexeia during life.

And all sorts of blastia use aer. The excessive usage of aer greatly stimulates the aer krene, natural springs of the world from which aer emerges, and the contamination of aer is not only deadly to living things (as in turning lush areas to deserts), but it can also provoke the Adephagos, some of kind of ancient cataclysm that came "from the void."

And the Children of the Full Moon--in their very being (probably their genetic material) is inscribed a type of formula that allows them to directly manipulate the aer around them without using blastia. This is especially dangerous to the aer krene's state, making them produce the excessive aer to the toxic levels that provoke the Adephagos.

So, in short, the Child of the Full Moon has the ability to summon the Adephagos (Belius did say, "Power corrupts. But you are different.").

But just why is Estelle's power poison to the Entelexeia? If it was aer contamination, fine, but they seem to be able to take in any amount of aer no problem (as it was with the dragon Entelexeia in the aer krene in the Weasand of Cados), as their apatheia indicate. But if it were aer contamination, why would that power be formed as healing artes that heal peoples' wounds? Grrrr. This doesn't make sense.

Anyway, back on track--in addition to having the power to summon the Adephagos, the Child of the Full Moon also has the power to send it back "to the void." But this aspect of his or her power costs the Child his or her life. For no being could manipulate so much aer unscathed--if Adephagos indeed is the aggregate being of all the excessive aer produced by the aer krene the world over. 'Cuz I can't imagine that killing the Child straight out would make Adephagos go away, seeing how the aer had already gathered to that extreme. Therefore, the Child must have the power to banish the Adephagos.
And that power must cost the Child his or her life.

But Dein Nomos, Duke's sword (which I think might also be the treasure one needs to declare himself emperor of the Empire) might have the power to do something against something like the Adephagos as well, seeing how it can drain excessive aer, like in the aer krene in Keiv Moc.

So aer is a double-edged sword ... it's the lifeblood of the planet, but too much will poison everything and wipe out life.

And the Great War was just a conflict between humans and Entelexeia over the usage of the dangerous Hermes blastia models. Kritya besides Judith don't like fighting, though, so it's possible they were largely uninvolved.

So are monsters just dumbed down descendants of the Entelexeia due to the excessive aer amounting from the use of blastia and Estelle's power, or are they something else altogether? I'm only saying this because Tison of the Hunting Blades referred to Entelexeia as the "origin of all monsters." And if they are the primeval race of Terca Lumereis, that would make sense. And I can't think of any other reason monsters would be so emphasized upon in the story (Estelle: "Someday we may even forget the threat of monsters looming just outside the barriers.").

And Entelexeia can sense flucuations in aer. All the monsters attacking settlements had something to do with aer consumption, except for Deidon Hold (though Estelle used her power there, and Duke was there, too).

Also, it goes without saying, but what Yeager's been doing is pretty fishy--setting up a war among guilds and having the Don killed. Does Yeager just want power in the Union, or something more? He's been double teaming between Leviathan's Claw and Ruin's Gate in illegally selling hoplon--weapon--blastia to shady clients.

And what is the deal with that city, Yormgen? Is it frozen in time by a thousand years? If so, by what power? The apatheia? The Entelexeia? What the hell ... I was half-expecting to have somehow traveled backward in time by a thousand years, but things outside Yormgen were as they we...

Standard deviation =

Now all I have left are my English and Art finals. English is just a ton of tedious writing (my teacher has seven written response questions, only five of which are required, but those last two are extra credit), and we have two hours. I'll at least be able to turn out the required and maybe one bonus, I'll get the whole damn thing done if I can get the time in.

Art's just ... silly. What are the primary colors? Emil talks to himself that chapter, and Aster wants Richter's gourmet Gaoracchian coffee~

For other fics ... I've been writing the second part of Flight of the Phoenix's synopsis, because I screwed it up the first time, I kept forgetting events ... like the Isle of Feres. Wtf, Hikaru, what're you doing, haha. Everyone's even more distrustful of Lloyd b/c of his wings and such ... oh, Lloydie, you.

I've been working on the fourth chapter of my FFIX/FFVII:CC fic, Defender of Humanity. In which Leks tries to make sense of the feelings he has for Hrist, his bodyguard, the Festival of the Hunt starts and ends, and Leks gets abducted. = D Poor bastard, haha.

Soooooo ... I started a new file on my Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions game. I named Ramza ... Aster. XD And I hired a soldier and named him Richter. LOL. As for my other generics, I hired and named as follows: Hrist (Knight), Leks (Black Mage, he's gonna be a Summoner later), and Arcessa (White Mage, Summoner later). Leks & Co are from DoH.

I am so tempted to hire soldiers and name them Emil, Ratatosk, etc. Hahaha. Wellll, there are a couple more Defender of Humanity 2nd gens that could use a spot on my roster--Chronos the Time Mage, one of Vivi's sons, Odina and Frei, Freya and Fratley's daughters (though there are no Burmecians in Ivalice, haha). Ah, well. If I hire too many generics, I won't have room for monsters or super cool story characters later (Luso, Balthier, Mustadio~).

Oh, yeah. I got my Four Knots art project back. Got 100% on it even though it was two days late and I think I screwed up Emil's face when I painted it ... hehe.

So I haven't really done any real artwork lately for a number of reasons, all of which are valid as excuses ^_^

I haven't done anything more than quick sketches (ASTER'S ROARING PHOENIX~) mostly because of school. Over the last two weeks (maybe three), all my teachers have been piling project after project on me. (One of my classmates was complaining about it: "I have like, SEVEN PROJECTS WTF") I have two projects for Spanish (write a 150 word essay in Spanish [easy *snerk*], cook a Spanish dish [paella!] and bring it Friday), had a book report for English (waited until the last minute to do it and got a 93% anyway~), a portfolio of court cases for Government as well as a power point about community service <--done, a media/video project for English (make an adaptation of whatever literature we studied--I is adapting from Macbeth), and of course, the art project (Four Knots on a Rope/Ribbon/whatever can have knots and show depth).

I think I'm putting the most energy in my art project. I spent the ENTIRE CLASS PERIOD today painting a tree. A tree. Yesterday I spent the whole class period painting JUST THE SKY HURR HURRRR.

The picture's of Emil (Ratatosk!Emil), and Martel with the new Giant Kharlan Tree. The idea is that Ratatosk possessed Emil to fight Martel over possession of the new World Tree ("I will take back what was stolen from me--GIVE ME MY TREE!"), and Martel was like, "Lol, no" and made magical ribbons to imprison Emil and stop him from hurting either her or the tree.

'Cuz I was too lazy to try and draw ropes. Oh yeah, and ... apparently I drew Emil's scabbard, but I forgot to draw his actual sword hilt >>;; So ... he has his scabbard ... but no sword. Lol wtf are you doing, Hikaru? Of course by the time I realized that, I WAS ALREADY PAINTING IT. So I'll just paint it in later or something, I dunno.

But I'm having the most trouble with the English media project. Visuals, audio, music, voiceovers, special effects, all fine. It's just the text that's getting to me. I'm using iMovie 3.0.3 (hella old, iKnow). I made the text fields and typed in what I wanted, but every time I try to drag them to the bar below to insert them as part of my movie, IT WON'T LET ME. WTF.

If I can't have text in my movie, I'm gonna be docked ... a lot. Cuz text is how I'm gonna give credit where credit is due for everthing. DAMN YOU IMOVIE.

I bought that today And started playing. My little sister was watching me play (though she wouldn't play with me 'cause she's texting -_-), and it was magnificent~ Richter's theme song made us laugh (my sister said, "what's with the badass music?"), and Emil's life sounded a lot like Harry Potter's at the Dursleys (come on, an evil aunt named "Flora"? Ha ha ha ha), but it was still sad (Emil: "I wonder if he'll hit me again? Ahh, I'm scared!") Dawwwwwwww.

Bosch does a good job of alternating between timid!Emil and Ratatosk!Emil (timid!Emil's voicework just screams LITTLE KID GUY DURING THE FALL OF HOD, and Rataosk!Emil is ... mmm, que sexy! 8D).

But of course I wonder about some things. Ratatosk was a summon spirit of the old Giant Kharlan Tree, okay. He wasn't sealed to keep the Great Seed from germinating b/c he's not an elemental Spirit and thus would be useless kept in the seals. Buuuut his dormancy served another purpose--Cruxis was free to control the appearance of monsters as they would (Sheena: "So monsters really appeared in Tethe'alla ... has Tethe'alla begun to decline?").

Ratatosk itself doesn't concern me so much as its power in Emil--before becoming a Knight, he couldn't fight worth cheagles jumping over a log. So if and when his connection to Ratatosk is threatened, sealed, or severed, does Emil retain his battle experience in his own self? Hmmm.

And then the Centurions. They're Spirits of a kind, to be sure, just not as important as the ones Sheena summons? At least not in Mithos's World Preservation Project ... I know they technically "didn't exist" in the first game (or Phantasia), but it's worth thinking about.

Anywho ... I'm really liking this game so far, though some of it made me laugh--the Abyss monsters, for one. The developers were too lazy to use Symphonian monsters or make new ones, so they threw the Abyss ones in. But it made me laugh b/c in the two years since ToS I ended, new monsters appeared. After the end of Abyss, it took three (or two; since Luke and Co traveled together for almost a year) years for Asch/Luke to return from freeing Lorelei.

FREEING LORELEI OPENED A DIMENSIONAL RIFT AND PUT ABYSS MONSTERS ON ASELIA HAR HAR--*shot*

I know, I know, but still! Hmmm ... I hope there are cameo battles in the Meltokio coliseum! I'd be playing right now, but madre and padre are watching a movie ... and madre's being a stick in the mud and won't let me hook up the wii downstairs. Grr.

Also! If you have clear data from Symphonia, you get a bonus at the beginning of the game--a Gel Set, and apparently a Sardonyx. I was a little disappointed (a Gel Set? THAT'S IT?!?!?), but then again, it sure beats having to buy all those items with what little Gald you do have.

Emil~ Marta~

It's nothing super uber bad, but ... *sigh* I've had a cough for the last two weeks, and last week it escalated into a full blown cold. I'm more or less back on my feet now, but the other day I was in the middle of putting up that YurixLuke story I promised Wing and Megumi--DA's dumb in that it doesn't accept the text files I send it.
Sooo ... I FINALLY got to play Vesperia yesterday and today! 8DD Judith just joined the party, and we're on our way from that blastia tower in the desert back to Dahngrest, then Rita and Estelle have to find Alexei and report what they found at Kiev Moc, the aer krene.

I swear ... I know it's a Tales tradition to be suggestive ... but Vesperia is by far the WORST. Yuri and Raven are just ... wow. And Yuri keeps flirting with Judith

My friend Megumi played it with me ... and there were all sorts of difficulties when we were trying to play together. First we couldn't hook up the damn thing properly. When we finally get that right, I ask her if she brought another 360 controller (original xbox ones aren't compatible ... D&lt, 'cuz Vesperia's multiplayer. She hadn't known that, so she hadn't brought one DX

So we walked to her apartment, asked after her brother (who wasn't there), so we leave a number, walk back, and her brother comes back in a while and drops off another controller JUST WHEN Estelle joins party. Right on cue~

So Megumi and I play, and we got into ALL SORTS of bad jokes. When Raven joined, she was playing as Raven, I as Yuri. There was this mini rp dialogue ...

Yuri: Anything you can tap, I can tap better.

Raven: I can tap anything better than you!

Yuri: I can tap those giant praying mantis monsters over there.

Raven: I can tap ANYTHING THAT MOVES.

Yuri ...

Raven: >D

Yuri: ...
Oh yes, anything to delay making Spanish rice for the fiesta we have tomorrow in class

Anyway, they're in my scraps, but I uploaded the profiles of the six OC's for the Tales of the Abyss fanfic I'm working on--on paper--outside the Net ('cause I have Flight of the Phoenix and Seribes Melkes to work on, though the former hasn't been getting many reviews lately ...). It's called We the People, and while it's essentially just myself and five friends having adventures on Auldrant, I wanted to make more obvious civilian life during all these turbulent events ... though I prolly phailed at that. Cantabile's in there, but this time she's moving against Van instead of with him <--she was allied with Van in Flight of the Phoenix. So it's pretty much Cantabile vs. Van and then some.

The cast~

Bryan Imifos: the leading man. Without this guy, there is no story. Oracle Knight, Sigmund style, Third Fonist, works as Cantabile's eyes and ears outside Daath. His mission is to tail the God-Generals, or rather, Van's forces so she can move against him.

Amber Berek: the leading lady, aka moi. The third daughter of Viscount Berek who together with his Viscountess rule Sheridan, technological boomtown of Kimlasca. She fights in the Albane style with a short sword and a halberd later on. She's also a Fifth Fonist.

Judith Welcyes: Amber's bodyguard, devout follower of the Order of Lorelei's Church, fights in the Coolidge style, Second Fonist. Also has throwing knives. She and Amber have been friends lifelong and thusly share a strong bond; Judith has unconditional loyalty for Amber.

Lyle Soresyl: Heir to the vast Barony of Engeve. He's a Seventh Fonist and melodist, fights with a swallow blade (still trying to figure his strike artes). Count Radian of St. Binah ousted Lyle from his House because the Count wants Engeve's lands for himself, but he doesn't want to risk civil war in Malkuth, so he tried to get rid of Lyle under the radar. Lyle is alive, of course~ He and Amber met in childhood while they had been studying abroad in Daath, and kept in touch via letters ever since.

Diego Fons: A Seventh and Fourth Fonist, orator (uses Seventh Fonon to manipulate enemy) and uses twin daggers. He works under Colonel Jade Curtiss, Third Division, Malkuth Imperial Forces. He's sarcastic like Jade, although he's more jovial and "addicted to relaxation." However, he never drags other people down (unless he's dying XD), and loves strawberries. He's competing with Jade for a total kill count of their enemies.

Alexis Durae: The Fon Master Guardian Commander of the Oracle Knights. She fights in the Valens style, she's also a First and Sixth fonist. Bryan has had a crush on her since they were kids, but it is unrequited. While Bryan is in the Cantabile fan club and is president of the Legretta fan club, Alexis is in the Asch fan club XD She's quick to get mad and often hits Bryan, though he never seems to mind this.

Something hilarious about the story: due to circumstances wherein everybody sans Alexis would have been killed if nothing had been done, Bryan had to take Amber, Judith, Lyle, and Diego into his custody--in short, he "kidnaps" them XD

There's also a funny portion of the story where we stay at Keterburg. Diego and Bryan gamble us into debt, paid off the debt, but by making the girls work in the hotel as maids and "selling" Lyle, though those two won't tell me exactly what they meant by that =/

Also ... the Colisuem. When we go there, Luke & Co are fighting in the arena, and Byran and Diego start making bets on the battles Which the rest of us DO NOT APPROVE LOL

*runs off to make Spanish rice*

So in my picture of Merines!Luke with Merines!Shirley, I added Relares and Fonic letters spelling out their names, representing their need for a dual identity to be a part of Ferines society with Relares, and the Fonic (or is it Ancient Ispanian? I'm going with Ispanian) to represent their want to be also of the Orerines aka humankind.

Relares I was already familiar with, but the Ancient Ispanian font took some getting used to. And as far as I know there's no letter for our 'x,' so I'm guessing they make their 'x' sounds like 'ecks.' And mebbe spell it that way? o_O;; I dunno.

I love that picture because I made Luke look big, like he wants to protect Shirley, but still small for his own insecurities. I like how I made Shirl look like she's all completely cool and collected, a PERFECT INCARNATION OF NERIFES--*shot*

*stands*

The main idea for that picture is the 'wedding' of the aggregate sentiences Lorelei, of the Seventh Fonon, and Nerifes, of the Fourth Fonon (Undine would be a lesser sentience), because both sentiences disagreed on the way their peoples were being mistreated by the Orerines, Gnome's people. Holy Yulia on Hod I love how I keep making themes of ULTRA SUPER POWER vs MEAGER MORTAL PUPPETS *Indignation'd*

*ahem* Pardon. And Lorelei and Nerifes made a pact to protect their combined peoples, and joined in their power to create fragments of their souls, who would shine when their power came. Luke shines gold b/c of Lorelei, and Shirley shines blue b/c of Nerifes. However, in Seribes Melkes, Luke is the only one to appear, a true fragment of Lorelei's soul b/c he is a purebred replica.

So poor Luke's all alone, leading the Ferines and Zerines (ppl descended from replicas) to RECEIVE THE WILL OF LORELEI--*shot*

I have the whole bloody timeline written on paper elsewhere In the meantime, I will color~

Well, well ... first off, I'd like to say I'm a warrior For I killed two black widows: one in my garage, another just outside the freaking front door. There was a third black widow in the garage, but my little sister killed that one. Last night, after I killed that widow, I got paranoid that, what if another spider (not necessarily a widow) comes and bites me? That followed a nightmare ... among other things.

In the middle of the night, I woke up, but I couldn't move. My whole body felt tingly, as if it had been asleep and was coming back online. If I concentrated really hard, I could move a finger, but I still couldn't use my voice or scream or anything. I heard my mom watching tv downstairs, so I thought I could try inching off the bed, down the hall, and maybe down the stairs ... but I couldn't move, and ended up falling back asleep. It felt like a dream, but my mom confirmed it wasn't.

Sleep paralysis runs in my family. My maternal grandma has it, my mom and her sister have it. For my mom it happened to her when she was my age, but it had happened more frequently in her teens and twenties, as she got older it occurred less often. I wasn't scared of it. The thought of sleep paralysis crossed my mind, but I found it comical because if I concentrated, I could move my finger a little bit.

Well, it still kinda sucks ... I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to move. Even if I'm not afraid of it, it's still no fun. Like a certain time of the month. STILL. I'd rather have this than sleepwalking, like my cousin has. With sleepwalking you never know where you'll be in the morning.

In my art class is "parent and child"--drawing and then painting a picture of a parent and child, though I'm not sure on the other guidelines; the teacher will inform us tomorrow. Anywho, in my art classes I always used characters from books, anime, manga, or video games (the last being most) I like ... for the current art project (four hands, four + life sized hands doing the same activity) I painted a picture of Iskender Bey from Wild ARMs XF, with the hands around it (Clarissa, Melissa, Rupert, etc) embodying the sword's story.

For "parent and child" I have lots of ideas--

A) Virigina and Werner from Wild ARMs 3

B) Kratos and Lloyd from ToS

C) Luke and Duke Fabre from ToA

D) Natalia and King Ingobert from ToA

E) Jude and Ethelda from Wild ARMs 4

F) Viriginia and Raine and/or Genis from ToS

G) Tidus and Jecht from FFX

H) Zidane and Garland from FFIX

I) Harriet and Will from ToL

J) Kyle and Stahn from ToD

K) Clarissa and Melissa from Wild ARMs XF

I really like all those ideas ... but the idea I really like right now is Rita from Vesperia and Jade from Abyss. I know they're not related or anything ... but they're both genius mages (with the same hair color!) so why not? From that I've gotten a ToA/ToV crossover fic idea (can't do pure Vesperia fics cuz I don't know the whole storyline or anything) wherein Rita is Jade's daughter from an arranged marriage that didn't go very well.

Rita had inherited Jade's dazzling intellect and talent for fonic artes, but she also had a keen interest in fontech, and is quite accomplished there as well. Though her father is Malkuthian, her mother was Kimlascan, and when her parents filed for divorce she and her mother lived in Baticul, later Belkend when Rita wanted to further hone her skills as a fonist and fonic technician. Although she's young, she quite the buzz in the scientific world.

Rita always found her father's lacking of understanding the meaning of death disturbing. When her intellect and talent was becoming apparent, many people thought her just like her father in every aspect, and she resented that. She loved doing what she did, but she most definitely was not like her father. So she wants to prove that she can surpass her father so people will see her as her own kind of genius.

With this background in mind, the project would end up being really bitter between Jade and Rita. Or it could be a battle scene (not necessarily against one another) so I can paint pretty magical effects~

What am I wearing, Plot Bunny phermones? I already have two fanfics to work on (Innocent Until Proven Guilty [YES that old thing lol], Flight of the Phoenix) yet Plot Bunnies keep on attacking me. I recently got back into Naruto after a long time of not reading the manga (I don't really watch the anime) when I spontaneously decided to catch up with it. Then I bought a game for it, my friends at lunch are fans, too, I start drawing fanart for it ... so it was only a matter of time before I start wanting to write fanfics.

I have two ideas the Plot Bunnies infected me with. First one is called BLOOD, the prologue takes place 16-18 years after Naruto manga ch 400, Sasuke and Naruto have had children--and the actual story takes place at least ten generations after that. Uchiwa Raikou and Uzumaku Kazuki are both Sasuke and Naruto's descendants--Raikou looks like Naruto but has Sasuke's abilities and such, while Kazuki looks like Sasuke but with Naruto's abilities and such--including a demon kitsune of his own. In addition to these, Raikou and Kazuki have inheritied their lookalike ancestor's personalities, but they each have their own distinct personalities. So they end up having split personalities and through time begin to recall their former lives during dreams.

The others have descendants, too--Haruki Hanako is Sakura, Shikamaru, and Ino's descendant, and Hatake Takashi is Kakashi's descendant.

Raikou's dream is to one day join Ketsueki, the international elite shinobi military force--kinda like the U.N. Peacekeeping Corps. But little does Raikou know the true purpose behind Ketsueki--and once you join, the only resignation they accept is your body in a bag.

For the manga readers, Madara is still lurking around, and a piece of Orochimaru's soul has survived via Kabuto and his bloodline. Something to keep in mind.

The other Plot Bunny is an idea for a Tales of the Abyss and Naruto crossover. The core concept is pretty much Tales of the Abyss Naruto style. There will still be fonons and sentiences, and such, but it'll be done and played in the whole shinobi village per country thing. Ex. Kimlasca could have the Konohagakure as its military village, Malkuth the Hidden Mist, and Daath the Hidden Sound.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not Naurto characters and concepts will be included.

Anyway, feel free to point and laugh.

I thought people exaggerated when they said junior year's the toughie out of all four high school years. Throughout the year the projects and assignments weren't anything I freaked out about.

But now the end of the school year's coming around, and all of a sudden all my teachers are churning out time consuming projects that are all due, curiously, on Thursdays. Normally I wouldn't mind. But since my mom works nights, my dad works days, and my older sister has college and a job, that leaves only me and my little sister for taking care of the housework most of the time.

We used to rotate between chores, but now that doesn't work. So my dad has only one rule about housecleaning--it doesn't matter who does it, just get it done. Since my sisters and I are becoming young adults, we need to see what needs to be done and assume the responsibility and get it done.

So I have to do housework. I ask my little sister to help; I even did a large portion of the work involved. I asked her to do the rest because I have to do projects that are worth huge chunks of my grade--and since it's the end of the year, there's no making it up if I do unsatisfactorily or badly.

What does she say? "I have homework." But what does she do? Sit her ass down and watch TV all night. And then she goes on MySpace. Precious.

So now I'm juggling housework and these projects. One of them had me produce two weeks' worth of work in just two days. I still have a lot to do, so I'm pretty sure I won't get much sleep.

On the upside, I'm proud of how my Spanish poster turned out. Except I found out I fail at Chinese ink brush painting.
It's official. I have an overactive imagination. I have lots of ideas, synopses, bios, and even multiple chapters of stories that are more often than not left unfinished. Usually the ones that get the most feedback are the ones that keep going, but other times it's my personal interest that keeps them going until the end or left to rot.

The newest one I came up with is a story called Gravitas de Vis Vires [Latin for "The Weight of Power"], and its host world is that of FFVII, Crisis Core timeline. Its crossover is that of other FF's (X, X-2, XII, IX, Tactics, Kingdom Hearts II [XIIIth Order]), with at least two guest characters from each franchise.

The main idea is to further demonstrate how twisted and corrupted the people within the Shinra Electric Power Company were, mostly through human experimentation in different fields .

Some guest FF characters have roles directly within Shinra (i.e. Balthier as a Turk, Shinra from X-2 being Rufus's little brother, etc) while others are just pawns moving according to company's plans, whether or not they stay on track.

The whole thing that started it was when I was writing a FFVII: CC oneshot wherein a grunt was taking broken and defective materia to the research department, and Zack, being a curious guy, follows him to see what's going to be done to the defective materia. Turns out a victim of Hojo's inhumane experimentations was eating the materia--the experiments hopelessly corrupted his body to the point he needed to ingest materia to survive. <---- that was Vivi, btw.

Then I started thinking what if Zidane were in there too, and then ... so on and so forth. If anyone cares to know, here's my list of the cast:

Zack Fair: 2nd Class SOLDIER. His adventure goes the same way as in CC, with additions thanks to the crossover elements. His and Cloud's discoveries of Shinra's twisted activities make them doubt SOLDIER and the company.

Zidane Tribal: He lived as a street rat on the streets of Junon. As a child the Science Department abducted him, deeming to use him for experiments involving mako, materia, and Jenova's cells. Even as the project continued, he was invested into SOLDIER. He makes no secret about having a tail, though his superiors put him into covert operations to hide him from the average SOLDIER members.

Vivi Orunitia: A small boy the Science Department used for experiments regarding artificially creating a being similiar to an Ancient in regards to communicating with the planet and using magic without having to equip materia. Thanks to the experiments, his body was hopelessly corrupted, needing to ingest materia to keep alive. He was considered for Deepground by Scarlet, but invested into SOLDIER instead.

Tidus: A SOLDIER operative, 3rd Class. He is a carefree, cheerful athlete whose dream is to surpass his father Jecht, also a highly skilled athlete. Though Jecht never sought a career in Shinra, he is a master swordsman. Tidus has a unique ability he calls 'dream sight,' wherein he can see future events in the form of his dreams. He also seems to be connected with summoned monsters and may even be able to communicate with them. For this reason the SD sought to use him in experiments involving summoned monsters.

Yuna: A young woman who is undergoing experiments within Shinra to summon beasts to command in battle. Summoning materia is still very new, and only elite members of Shinra's military branch had mastered their usage. Yuna is undergoing experiments to summon without the summoning materia as part of the project to recreate an Ancient to communicate with the planet.

Paine: A young swordswoman, the only female in SOLDIER, and 1st Class to boot. Like Sephiroth, Paine is a result of the Jenova project, but unlike Sephiroth, Paine can connect to those with Jenova cells outside of the Lifestream. She may be able to connect with Jenova itself and even communicate with it.

Shinra: A 13 year old boy, Rufus Shinra's little brother. Despite his age he is a master inventor, at the head of the Technology Department. He always wears a body suit and mask--he had been exposed to exponentially high levels of mako when he was small due to an accident in a mako reactor. His body is corrupted, and in reality he does not have very long to live. The mako poisoning is degrading his body, and although his father had him injected with Jenova cells, it only sped up the process. When Shinra finds out, he cooperates with certain people to stop the human experiments. In recognition of his dying body and short time, nobody calls him by his first name, only his last. His first name is unknown.

Vaan: A SOLDIER 3rd Class, he was installed in SOLDIER by his friend Balthier. Prior to joining SOLDIER, he was a professional thief, stealing particularly from Shinra employees. Balthier knew that Vaan's skills in stealth...

Mmkay. So tonight's prom night. Have to dress up and shizz. My dad says we HAVE to take pictures before I go, which is to dinner, not even the event yet, which would start two hours after the time we go to have dinner.

I just say I don't want pictures. Then my dad is all asking, "WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH A BAD MOOD!" When I don't even know, but I throw a gander at PMSing, since it's been nearly a month. But does he let me finish? No. He yells at me some more, saying he doesn't understand why I'm having an attitude when I'm going to dinner and gonna have fun at the prom.

Well, guess what, hot stuff? You're hardly making it better.

Besides, another good reason I might be in a bad mood: it's contagious. For whatever reason (prolly man PMSing), my dad in was in a right state when he came home from a class--not even from work. He was all yelling at my sisters and me b/c we hadn't done any housework (I did laundry). Then a few minutes later he's all fine and dandy.

I swear that man's bipolar.

Other events have been getting to me, too: my best friend running away from home to live her boyfriend and not telling me, gang-related shootings in my neighborhood, a young woman dying near my neighborhood, and grade progress reports headed out in the mail.

So one could get kinda stressed worrying about all this. But it really bugs me: that my parents and sisters can be angry and stressed all they want and not care about anything around them, but I have to step on eggshells when I get mad ONCE?

Next thing they'll make me do is write letters of apology. Anyway, I hope I really do have fun at prom--that's about the only thing that'll make this bad moon go away.

--

=The world of Auldrant=

The world of Auldrant is divided into several countries, all of which are significant world powers: Daath in the center, Kimlasca-Lanvaldear in the southwest, Malkuth in the northeast, and Callegia in the northwest. For many centuries Callegia, a country made up of a race called Gajuma (Beasts or Beastfolk by the majority of humans, who are called Huma by Gajuma), remained neutral in the Kimlasca-Malkuth affairs, although it also receives the Score from the Order of Lorelei.

=Fonons and the Force=

Huma and Gajuma are both capable of channeling and using fonons, essential components of Auldrantian matter that emit sound. For a reason still unknown to scientists Huma and Gajuma alike, Gajuma are far more efficient at channeling and using many fonons at a time, a phenomenon called Force. Few Huma fonists could reach that efficiency level; even the best fonists of Huma history couldn't compare to the lowest Gajuma Force user.

However, an interesting and horrifying thing happened with the passing of Callegia's previous monarch, King Ladras. Called the Setting Sun or Dusk of Ladras all over Auldrant, the king's Force went berserk, and that particular Force awakened within Huma the ability to harness Force--the sudden intake of so many fonons of a particular element resulted in the trauma and deaths of many people, mostly Huma, and even some Gajuma as well.

Some months later, the late king's daughter, Princess Agarte, ascended to the throne of Callegia.

The guards of the royal Callegian family, the Royal Shield, had no need for the now vast number of Huma Force users, but the Order of Lorelei, as well as Kimlasca and Malkuth did all in their power to obtain as many Force users as possible, for Gajuma Force users rarely immigrated from Callegia.

Force users had virtually no say in which organization they would become a member of and whom they would come to serve. With no training in handling their Force, they are constantly at risk and more disasters might happen. It was most preferable, of course, to be within the Order of Lorelei, for they are neutral peacekeepers between Kimlasca and Malkuth.

Human Force users usually ended up specializing in one type of fonon, whether it would manifest as fonic artes or strike artes. The same is true for Gajuma Force users.

=Strains Between Countries=

It is common knowledge that Kimlasca and Malkuth are raring to go at one another's throats, but now Callegia is added to the mix of international tensions as well. In the past year or two since the Dusk of Ladras, Callegia opened its doors to Huma immigrants, and Gajuma emmigrants also. In Kimlasca, Malkuth, and even Daath, many young Huma girls are turning up missing. Witnesses of both races admit to seeing strange Gajuma around the victims before they disappeared. Since all Gajuma are commonly viewed by Huma as Callegia itself, Callegia is blamed for the missing girls.

The Order of Lorelei and its Fon Master is doing its best to maintain relations between the three countries, but the situation is bleak.

With the influx of Huma Force users, many of them are taken and trained by Daath to become Fon Master Guardians for the current Fon Master, a young man by the name of Ion.

As the successor to the previous Fon Master, Evenos, who had placed a truce between the then-warring countries of Kimlasca and Malkuth, Ion had vowed to keep peace at any cost.

--

And that's basically the prologue, I guess. Beginning Score or something. Instead of Spirits (who never actually appeared in ToA), Auldrant will have Sacred Beasts, who are pretty much Spirits anyway.

Anywho, this is pretty much a mash of ToA and ToR's storylines. I know I'll go as far in the ToR story with the girl kidnappings, but I don't think I'll go as far as the Sacred Beast King awakening and all. The story centers around Ion and his guards, so some stuff from ToA has to happen, but I dunno if big bad Master Badtouch will do anything ... devious.

Eugene is definitely playing a big role

HIKARU HAS AN IDEA, PEOPLE!

I always loved the idea of bookmark themes for fanart or any kind of art in general ... I loved the Harry Potter and Tales of the Abyss bookmarks by Joodlez.

And so I have this to propose: I recently came up with a bookmark theme for Tales of Legendia--I could probably do it, IF ONLY my Corel Painter program were working ... it can't open the Painter Settings file for some reason; my mom and sister thinks it has to do with memory consumption.

So I deleted most of my pictures (down from 100-odd to less than 14) and deleted music I wasn't listening to (down from 420-odd to 296), and still it won't open ... so I asked my other sister to go through her own files when she's got time.

So, anyway ... if anyone's interested in doing an art collab on this bookmark theme with me, then give me a holler! I can do the lineart and scan it ... since my painter program's being awfully ALUMINUM.

If anyone would like to color one or more of the planned bookmarks (I've planned at least four so far), then feel free to contact me!

Haha. It should be noted ... I SUCK royally at drawing battle scenes. Heheheh ... well, it is my first time drawing an actual battle scene. Against a giant snake, no less ... >>;; LE KING VERMIN!! 8D

Have to draw poor Luke and Guy getting beaten up by Le King Vermin so that their Flamberge and Vorpal swords call almighty Arch Anti-Suicide Lloyd Irving and KICK BUTT!! Haha.

Argh ... I originally planned for Luke and Guy to be still holding the swords when Lloyd appears and takes them ... but the theme is for Luke to be holding Flamberge and Guy to be holding Vorpal because Lloyd holds Flamberge in his left and Vorpal in his right ..............

And I was thinking about it ... the only way for Lloyd to grab the swords the way he usually does is if either Guy and Luke switched blades (OUT OF THE QUESTION, DESU NO!), or ... stuck them in the ground. -_-; Which is what I ended up deciding to do.

I like the first few pages ... They look kewl. I dunno if I'm gonna color it, though ... my art program is being awfully ALUMINUM and won't open. Arrrgh, Flamberge is hard to draw lol.
