It has a translation option so everyone should be able to read it. It doesn't translate really well, but I am happy how it is now.
What has happened since the last update?

I have my own photo-studio now. I finally can make photo's without being dependable of other people.
I also have a second flash so I can work off-camera and make a mini-studio on location.

Plans for the future:

- Make a trip to Ireland. I'm in love with that country although I've never been there.
- Visit the 3 Wishes Fairy Fest in England. Maybe have my own stand there someday. ^_^
- Have a stand at more international fantasy/gothic events to promote my fantasy art.

But I need a lot of money for that.. So I'll take everything one step at a time.
If any of you have tips/suggestions for great fantasy events which are affordable please let me know.

News

A lot has happened since the last update. I've had an exhibition in Zaandam (Near Amsterdam, Holland) for a month. It was from December 8th 'till January 8th.

I've had a photo shoot with a 4 year old girl who posed for me over 3 hours non-stop in fairy and princess costumes, so a lot of children fantasy art will come ^_^

The Elf Fantasy Fair is coming closer and closer (25 and 26 of April) and I still have to decide which images I will print to exhibit there. I don't have a lot of room, so I need to choose the best of my work. If anyone is interested, I have a discount coupon which you can download from my website and print out for the Elf Fantasy Fair.

Anyways, just wanted to post something new so you all know I'm still alive. ^^

Second, I got my first exhebition.. (spelling?) !!! 8 Fantasy photo's are shown and a few photo's from a vampire serie I did in januari.

Also, tomorrow I have a big pirate photoshoot. With 2 models and a mua, I'm gonna photograph on a real big ship!! Made an treasuremap for it.. (meaning printing an image, then drown it in thee and coffee

) And rented costumes.. Will post some photo's when I'm done..

Second, and this is really really bad news, my mom died. On April 22. She was very sick and the decision had to be made by us (meaning me, my dad and my sister). She couldn't decide for herself because she was mentally ill. She had Multiple Scleroses, Epileptic, and Dementia. (Hope I spelled everything correctly).

Meanwhile I changed of work. I know work in a photography store, making studio photo's and selling camera's and stuff. Much better then my old job. (which was also a photography store, but only selling camera's) This job is much more various.

So lots happened, and this is the only thing I want you to know. That's why I haven't been updating anything. But I still visit my account and stuff, adding pretty works to my favorites. Just don't have the spirit to respond on everything. Sorry...

Okay, on to the real news;

I may have my art published on a new art magazine. Might take a while tho.. they are still working on the magazine and it should be there by 2 or 3 months.. by that time, I must contact the owner again and maybe my art will be published

Also, I had my first drivers lesson. It was really scary, yet fun. Next thursday is my next lesson *exited*

Maybe (a big maybe), my art can be published on the cover of the catalog of Laughing Vampire, which is a brand for gothic clothes.

Next sunday I will have a woman-studio-day. 30 Female photographers will photograph male models in the studio

Today I had a photoshoot. Not an ordinary shoot, but a photoshoot of an animal. It was an Idea I've had for a while, so I placed an ad on the internet, and one person responsed on that. So Today was the big day to photograph her animal. It was a black dog, 6 years old. She was really sweet and a real model! She listened very well and I got some real nice shots of her.

How hard can it be to drop an email asking to post some images. That would've make me feel proud, proud that my art-work was selected. Instead, they just post it.

This sunday, I'll have a fashionshoot with my niece. Got a lot of inspiration (mainly from the magazine the 'Avant Garde') so I hope it will turn out nice

Then after next tuesday, there is Holiday.. so no school untill the end of August. I hope my photo's are good enough for the assesment. The teacher I have now is quite confusing, so I hope I didn't understand it wrong, about the structure photo.
Oh and Baloo is with us now!

He's so cute! He's little, clumsy, eats a lot and plays with everything he sees. He's sleeping on my bed now... awww Cute little Baloo.
Areyn, my other cat, has gain a lot of weight. Which is good because she was too thin.. But I'm afraid she will become a fat lazy cat... Or maybe it's because Baloo is so little and she seems extremely big. -The cat I spoke about, lives 3 weeks with us now. The name is spelled Areyn. and she is really cute. She plays a lot and always want attention.

-I get another cat, this one is male, and will be 13 weeks when it will come to me. His real name is Ares, but I don't like that, so he will be called Baloo. This sunday we will visit him at his current home

-Past sunday I went to the Elf Fantasy Fair, the biggest Fantasy event of Europe.
I saw Victor Krum of Harry Potter 4, and another one of the bulgarian school. And I saw a little man who plays in the movie Willow and also plays a goblin in Harry Potter. Photo will follow soon.
My site is greatly updated, and more photo's of the Fantasy Fair will be added soon (probably after I'm done with this journal)

-I got the job I talked about last time. I work 3 days in a week, and it's going quite well.

-I haven't created any manips lately because I was so busy. I know, lame excuse. At first she didn't recognized me, my sister or my dad.. but after a while she did. A bit.
She had never had this before, so it was a big shock for my dad and me when we found her in our house, staring into nothing lying in a weird position. At first I thought she was dead, but my dad checked her for her heartbeat, and that was okay.. Then she started to drool a lot and began to have spasisms. My dad called 911 (okay, it's 112 in our country) and the amulance came right away.

So, not a very good start of the new year. She really can't use this, nobody can I know, but she already has Multiple Sclerose (MS) for 6 years now, and she's also in a depression for 6 years... Yeah she's not the average mother...

There is still snow lying here from last week.

I might go a week to my sister between christmass and new year. I hope my parents agree, if not, I'll still go

after that, Leon comes here! We're going to see Harry Potter 4 and I have the greatest christmass gift for him!

I think I'm in some sort of depression. the only thing that cheers me up is my sister and Leon. I think thats the reason why I don't create art lately. I just don't have the spirit to make anything. and IF I make something, I hate it.

I applied for a job in a really cool shop, but a few days ago I got a letter that they decided that I don't qualify for their needs or something. I really don't understand what is wrong, so all my hopes lies in a drugstore were I applied for a job. They needed someone for the saterdays and for special sales days.. So I hope they pick me... *sigh* finding a job is so hard now..

I'm in such a christmass mood now. It's snowing so hard!!

Already made 10 pictures when I was walking with my dog. It's no fun to go outside right now, but the view is awesome! I'm frozen to the bone so first I'm going put on some dry socks (my shoes aren't waterproof) and then I'll make some hot chocolate. ^_^

I might put the wintery photo's in my scraps.. But I haven't uploaded them yet.

Leon (*Mystery-Ice) got the 12 month subscription I won with a halloween contest!

Also I uploaded something to my scraps and put a few older and non-populair deviations in storage.

I'm currently sick and have a art problem. I have inspiration enough, but whatever I create I simply don't like it. (That's why I've put it in scraps)

I feel miserable and lonely because I have nobody to talk to in real life. I want to get a job desperetly (spelling?) but in every shop I ask, no more people are needed. *sigh* So I'm running out of idea's on how to meet new people. There aren't any clubs I could join except something dull like a chess club with old people or dancing lessons. The only one I can talk too is my dog. -_-"
Man, I'm hopeless.

forgot to say that I deleted my stock account as nobody uses it.

I got the newest Within Temptation 2 dvd (+ a free live concert cd) special edition of The Silent Force Tour!!! IThe release date is today and I pre-ordered it so I just received it through mail. ^_^ So I'm off to watch it now. Bye bye

Finished the flyer for Jord. It's a guy from a band; Lack of Cookie. The bad thing is he has a sore throat and he needs to perform this friday

Good news is that I *finally* got this book I wanted. It's the followup from the book Eragon, from Christopher Paolini. This book, Eldest, continues book one. I'm so happy I finally got it yesterday. Started reading today and I'm already on 1/4 of the book.

I'm such a reading fanatic. I simply love fantasy books.

Anyways, I tried multiple times for Dhiyanah

to get her a DD, but it just doesn't work.

It's so frustrating. She has really good work but nobody seems to visit her. That makes me sad, mostly because my account is doing so well lately. But.. if I'm lucky, she will get a big surprise with Halloween. ^_^

I'm currently practicing a lot with hair in manips. I find it so hard to make hair look realistic and pretty. I admire *anaRasha and =AutumnsGoddess so much on how they create hair. I simply can't create such beauty.

I have tried several things, trying to find my own way of making hair, following tutorials.. but nothing really seems to work. I also tried brushes (see my latest piece 'Ice Beauty')
So If anyone has tips on how to create hair, please let me know.

Other news, I downloaded 60 new fonts (lost all my old ones) including some fonts I used to have before Windows crashed. AND I installed Photoshop again

So I can make new stuff! I *lucky* got all my brushes, so I don't have to download them all over again. *pfew*
