A year and a half passed since i've posted my last journal entry, so as you can figure out, a lots of things happened!

I've entered a band meanwhile, WITCHBREED ( [link] ), featuring Moonspell's former ex-bassplayer Ares, Ruby on vocals, Dikk (Gonçalo Pereira, Blister, Deepskin, others) on guitars along with Filipe Sousa (ex-Shadowsphere). We did great gigs past year, playing with several bands, like SAMAEL, 3rd RoOm, and more...

Also I've sadly quit Mons Lunae due to personal reasons, in November last year.

Meanwhile, we (Witchbreed) signed a worldwide record deal with Ascendance Records, and we're going to put our debut album out during this year. I can advance you it's going to be a blast, I promise!
And you can expect many surprises meanwhile! ;)


I've been also doing some freelance drum work for bands. Last year I recorded Urban Tales debut album "Diary of a No", with is available worldwide through Burning Star records.

I'm available for freelance session work, both live and studio - any style of music, for any country. For more info, contact me by private message.


Besides all of that, my personal life is a total mess, but that doesn't really matter at all!

20 Factos sobre mim:



1- Sou muito autocrítico e exigente comigo próprio.

2- Amo uma pessoa que me ama a mim também (e é uma pessoa do sexo feminino :P). Quando amo alguém, dedico-me
a essa pessoa de corpo e alma. Nunca fui infiel, e é uma das coisas que mais me orgulho!

3- Tenho um problema psicológico, que basicamente é estar a pensar em milhentas coisas simultaneamente,
por exemplo, posso estar a ler um livro, sem estar realmente a lê-lo, porque estou mais concentrado no
que estou a pensar - e isto acontece em todas as situaçoes, e apesar de já controlar melhor isso, continua
a ser um reflexo do subconsciente (basicamente, como uma vozinha dentro da cabeça :P).
Tudo isto leva a um gasto de energia maior do que uma pessoa normal (pelo que me posso considerar anormal!)

4- Tenho um alto na testa, do lado direito, que toda a gente me pergunta onde bati com a cabeça - mas não
bati, é o crânio que desenvolveu mais para esse lado. Tenho bastante vergonha do alto, e enervo-me quando
perguntam o que aconteceu "à tua cabeça" lolol :P (principalmente quando são pessoas que já conheço há
muito tempo.

5- Sou magro. Muito. E apesar disso como bastante. Não engordo nem por nada :|

6- Prezo muito os meus amigos! Gosto de lhes ser útil, e vice-versa! Para que servem os amigos, não é verdade? :D
Sem eles eu não sou nada! Não gosto de estar sozinho.

7- Detesto pessoas falsas, hipócritas, mentirosas, fúteis, burras, sem sentido de humor, ignorantes,
convencidas e arrogantes! (Entre outras coisas que não me lembro :P).

8- Adoro humor nonsense, negro, seco e parvo!

9- Às vezes rio-me mais depois de uma piada ou situação descrita, do que quando ela me é contada, porque começo
a imaginar como seria na realidade, e às vezes fazem-me passar por parvo! (e sou! :D)

10- Amo música e instrumentos musicais no geral - sou completamente viciado e tarado por tudo o que tem a ver
com música! Para além disso, toco bateria, mas tenho um sonho de saber tocar um pouco de tudo! Considero-me
bastante eclético.

11- Não sei cantar, nem tenho boa voz, mas estou sempre a fazê-lo, principalmente quando não estou a ouvir música.
Isto porque quero ouvir, e então olha... lol :P

12- Tenho um grande fascínio pelo lado negro de tudo, pelo mal, pelo escuro, pela cor preta, pela morte, pela noite,
etc, mas nada disso se reflecte nos meus actos nem na minha maneira de ser!

13- Sou viciado em: música (como já tinha dito), cinema, tabaco (estupidamente), beijos, sexo, computador, NELA,
e muitas coisas que não me lembro.

14- Tenho 2 extremos entre os quais vacilo... às vezes sou demasiado preocupado com a estética das coisas,
outras vezes é completamente o contrário, pelo que muitas vezes eu sou vaidoso, e outras um verdadeiro junkie, apesar
desta (des)preocupação com a estética não se reflectir só em mim.

15- Sou anti-capitalista e anti-igreja católica. Sou agnóstico, e (não que tenha a ver), sou simpatizante
do comunismo.

16- Sou hipocondríaco (tenho a mania das doenças), tenho tendência para ser megalomaníaco. Erm... tenho muitas manias!

17- Paro muitas vezes para pensar e reflectir na vida, em problemas e em possíveis soluções.

18- Gosto de absorver muita informação sobre muita coisa! Gosto de saber do que falo e do que falam, se bem que às
vezes falho... principalmente no que diz respeito a coisas que se passam na televisão :P Apesar de tudo não sou
NADA cusco, nem gosto de quem seja muito.

only today i had the courage to admit it.


a friend of mine passed away yesterday. people found him dead in front of his house.

i just can't understand this. it's so stupid...

i'll be sharing my grief and pain with my big friend ~MoShPiT, for a great person.

i know that being the biggest slayer fan i know, he'd probably wouldn't like, but i'll dedicate these words for him

Yeah finnaly my band's 2nd demo is out! It's called Revidere Ad Vitam which means Reborn To Life, and it's some sort of goth metal with classical and folk influences. I don't play drums in the demo due to my late entrance in the band, so the drums are still synthetized.

Hi there! :wave: :D

2-3 Weeks ago I had an audiction to a band, and I got in! I'm so fuckin' happy with it! :D We're now MONS LVNAE! It's a Goth-Metal band with Death, Black, Ethnic and whatsoever influences!

We already gave a small concert (along with me on drums, but I only played one song, since we didn't had enough time to rehearse), in Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa, along with two other bands, it was great!

The bandmembers are:

Lead Vocals: Catarina Gomes
Lead/Rythm Guitar and MIDI Sequencer: Hugo Gomes (previous bands: Black Spiral Dancers and Ancient Truth)
Rythm Guitar and Back Vocals: Fernando Marques (previous bands: Niil)
Flute: Ana Figueiredo
Bass: Ares (previous bands: Filii Nigrantium Infernalium, Niamh and Moonspell. He also has his side project, Deepskin).
Drums: Me! :P


Anyway, we have a new demo comming out in January/February 2005, we hope you can listen some musics from us, and also, if possible, to see a live concert!
