I was almost done with a showjumping pic, when my screen just went black, and computer shut off! I tried re-starting, and got something worse than the blue screen of death... I swear my screen looks like the black pleague! It's white with spooky looking like black clouds floating around and dead pixles and crazy colored lines... It's HORRIBLE! I have no clue what it could be... I'm really careful about what I download, and I have spyware and virus software... It's been a piece of crap since I got it... and now I have NO money for a new one... I'm going crazy!
So... You guys may see a lack of art from me, as I can commandeer computers from friends and family, but none have photoshop.

Here at Coyote Creek Ranch, we couldn't get our work done half as well if we didn't have our cowdogs. And our dog of choice is the Hanging Tree Cowdog. Every ranch has their own special blend of Kelpie, Aussie, Catahoula, and Border Collie (some add Pit too) that makes up a Hanging Tree Dog, but no matter what the mix, they have to perform. These dogs have extream herding instincts and a well bred dog will naturally hit heads and heels. For registration, they must have a flat/smooth coat, and pass a performance herding test.

We too have our own brand of Hangin' Tree's, and our two top dogs are Boss and Daisy who can be seen in our ranch picture [link]

But it's mostly for my own devices... though I guess some of you might be interested in things to come from us here at Coyote Creek.

11/18/09:
Some big things on our list are going to be getting more solid info on the ranch and it's employees/people. Some of you may have picked up that the owner of Coyote Creek is Jolene, though most call her Jo. The head hand's name is Roger, who is a very close friend of Jo's, and could probably be labeled as "Farm/Ranch Manager" more so than a hand, but CC is very much more a ranch than farm or stable.
As a sneek peak, CC will be turning into a working cattle ranch (the original idea behind the ranch anyway) Hopefully we will have new images of our trail/pack string up, working cattle, and packing in the mountains. During the Fall we will run hunting drop camps out of the main ranch, and probably do some guiding, since that has always been Jo's actual profession.

We have been discussing joining DARPG to breed Hanging Tree Cowdogs and Hounds (probably bluetick)

Congratulations to all who got the horses! And my apologies to those who didn't.
Those who won, these are now your horses, you do not have to credit me the design in future drawings, however the designs may not change, and they may not become other creatures like unicorns etc. at any point. If you no longer want the horse please tell me, and I will either take the horse back or find it a new home.
And please use the horses now that you got them!
Also: Don't forget to register your new ponies with HAPRG!

UPDATE 11/3: Don't forget to get your entries in! I know there's at least two more people wanting to get entries in. Adoptions should be announced tomorrow morning so you have all of today (the third) And I guess early tomorrow, to get entries in. Any horses without entreis will go back up for adoption after new owners have been announced.

UPDATE 10/29: Alright so I will be out of town on the 31st, so I am extending the deadline until the 3rd when I get back into town. This will give you guys a few more days to hopefully get your entries in!

Mmmk... so following the trend of everyone's adoptions, I was really bored at 1am, and produced these guys! I will fill in the rest of this in the morning when my brain actually works.

Steps to adopt your own Coyote Creek Horse:

+ This is not first come fist serve. You must apply (like a contest! )
+ You may apply to as many foals as you'd like (doesn't mean you will get them all)
+ You must draw the foal you would like as an adult (this means you must draw the lines too, no pre-made lineart!)
+ Give them a name, gender, breed, background story, you know... make them your own!
+ Send me a link to that drawing in a NOTE titled: "CC Adoptions"
+ Designs may not change, and horses may not become unicorns, Pegasus, etc.
+ If you get the adoption, it belongs to you, you no longer have to credit the design to me.

We have recently found a love of Dressage as well, with the addition of our stallion Tieton who had a knack for the sport. Because of this we will most likely be adding some warmbloods to the herd as well.

Whomever requests the breeding is responsible for the breeding picture and foal picture.
The breeding picture must be done before the foal picture.
Please send me links to both the breeding pic and foal picture so I can keep my horses updated.

We have three distinctions of breeding availability--
Open: No restrictions on Breed/Color/Etc.
Selective: Breed/Color/or Other restrictions apply.
Closed: Horse is not available to outside breeding
