Semestral (a.ka. Final) exams start this Friday, and holy shit, I had the awful luck to have fucking PHYSICS and MATH the same day.



So this mean I'll be off the internetz for a while, even more than last time I said I was gonna do so. I'm a liar, yeah I know. I can manage to be on MSN/Skype and related these days and in weekends, but as for deviations and such: HAHAHA, as if I'm gonna submit something these days. Also, the chibis are going slowly, but hopefully I'll be in a 5-chibis-per-day mood on vacations ;D

Also, to all my TF2 comrades in arms, if you see I'm playing these days that IS NOT ME. Apparently my brother found TF2 more addictive than crack, and he manages to break my password to play it. So if you ever chat with him, be patient, he's a wee bit retartd and his English is very basic. Also, he's most likely to be dominated 8 times in the same round.
Yeah, what a good brother I am.

Finally, after reflexing and thinking about it, I found out that politicians doesn't have the fault of our actual problems (except the crisis, blame Wall Street for that). IT IS UTTERLY AND SOLELY OUR GODDAMN FAULT. We the people from any country are more responsible for the social issues than the fucking government, for obvious reasons. So don't call to your government fascists, nazis and such, the real antagonist is pretty much everyone around you.

Don't do drugs. Don't kill. Don't fucking get pregnant at 16. Don't polute or litter. Don't be racist or hate. Don't be a fucking asshole. LOVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. And for the love of what's good and sacred, don't expect someone to put you a god forsaken road. Start building one by yourself (eso va para todos ustedes, pinches Mexicanos que somos tan minimalistas y estamos esperando a que alguien nos diga que hacer.)

Ok, so final projects and exams are about to come in these two weeks and as much as I hate to acknowledge it, this is for my future. So I won't be drawing stuff or be on MSN/DA Chats/Skype/Steam and basically the Internet itself for a while. This month's grades were terrible. TERRIBLE AS FUCK. I need at least what you people would consider a B+ (85 actually) and so far I have three C and a failed topic. Fuckin Java.

My scholarship is in game and this fancy-pants school were I am isn't exactly made for a mid-low dude like me in such a tough ass country with the crisis kinda still present.

Well, seems that *TheReal-OCT is over for me =w= I really was expecting that, really. _{I should have finished my epilogue, I knew it, lol} Major kudos to for the win. Keep kicking asses in the tourney sir! I'm looking forward to your story.

As for me, that's enough victory, I mean, quarter finals. I've never gone that far before, and hey, I made new friends and met new people.

BLAZEO
1) Blaze + O. DUH.
His real name on the other hand, Mateo Márquez, is because Matt (yeah, we can call Matt to Mateos because it's the Spanish equivalent of Matthew) is a cool name to me. Anyone remember the Matt from Digimon? Well, I always thought he was the coolest character of all. Oh yeah, it was back in the good days of ye olde when the series were the shit.

And 'Márquez', because my favorite Mexican soccer player is Rafael Márquez. Too bad he's injured right now.

2) He was my second character ever. After Jolten, I thought in several other characters (SO CHILDISH THEY WON'T COUNT HERE) and then I created him when I decided I needed to do more mature stuff. Back then he was angsty, emo, and had fire wings. OH TEH WEABOO-NESS.

3)As I said, he was ANGSTY, EMO and had freaking WINGS. lololol, good thing I changed into a more ravid, daredevil and joyful character.

4) He knows he's not real at certain point of his story. But I won't spoil you anything more. Also, he's Mexican just like me.

CHEMISTRESS

1) Chemistry + Mistress. I thought it was a good combination. Zoe Sanderson: Fun story, Zoe because I remembered the name of a certain character game that was becoming popular back them (Hint: it has zombies :I ). Sanderson... err, I think it was because of the Fairly Odd Parents episode... Yeh, I don't even know.

2)She's one of my most recent characters and I created her because of their powers. Also, I still think her ability of changing the matter is unique, I mean, besides from Edward Elric (whose powers arent' as awesome as Zoe's, tee hee) I don't know any that can do that the way she does.

3) First, I thought in an innocent and pure girl who suffered a terrible accident... Then I thought, naw, people are going to think she's weak and unoriginal. So I made here kinda angsty, mature but girly at the same time.

4) She also knows she doesn't exist. Also, she loves to be hugged, as much as she hates to admit it.

POLYBLADE

1) C'mon, his name is more than obvious.
Kyle Borgen, why Kyle Borgen? Kyle, because it was the first name I thought when creating him (or was I watching South Park?? Hmmm) Borgen, because supposedly he is Nordic, so I searched for Nordic people and TA DA, Borgen sounded catchy

2) He's one of my third generation of characters, and also I decided to give him no extraordinary superpower but one that could be kinda fitting and original to him (sealing special abilities of any kind). At the same time, I made him a unique swordsman.

He came out of nowhere... no, really.

Since I was a chubby 5 year-old kid. I remeber drawing stickmen Power Rangers, but thanks to a psychiatric (WTF, seriously) I learned how to draw "full bodies". The rest is history.

-Which hand do you use for drawing?

Sadly, men. I wish I could draw hotter ladies

-Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Both.

-Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
It was hard to me to draw towards the left, of course, that doesn't happen anymore

-Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front

-What do you have problems in drawing?
Girls, boobs, hands, feet, backgrounds and complex poses

-What do you like to draw?
Superheroes, Bots n Mechas, Guns, Muscles, action scenes and zombies.

-Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
A little of both. I still need to polish my digital art, as for the traditional, i need to draw less doodles and more well-drawn pics with pencils

-Where do you start drawing from?
Just like most people have said, the head. Dunno, is like the "center" of the body, even though it isn't.

-What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I tend to unconsiously make the facial expressions I'm drawing. HURR

-Any tips for coloring/shading?
I tend to use black for shading, of course, with a very high transparency for the shadows. Also, never EVER use the burn tool for shading. Use a darker color or black.

-How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
I can draw 30 panel comic with shades, decent backgrounds and dialogues in an hour. The problem is that I get distracted, so all my work ends in like 5 hours.

-What music do you listen to while you draw?
Epic music. Well, my kind of epic music: can be from Rock to Techno to Movie and Games Soundtrack. Whatever that sounds good is enough for me to do my stuff.

-How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
2 Math lessons, 500 m of swimming or an insomnia night. Seriously, isn't 37 characters with a story of their own enough for me????! WHEN WILL THIS STOP!?! STOP IMAGINATING YOU BASTARD HYPERACTIVE BRAIN!!

-Your favorite drawing utensils?
Any kind of pencil/pen. Tablet.

-Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?

I found some useful OCT guides for those who are planning to make one (or for those who are more interested in joining one, to see how the judges should work in a one and don't make it a shitty tournament). Again, seems that my computer wasn't that bad at all. I actually can run TF2 but the problem was some kind of driver thing (and my Graphic's Card was an Intel 965 Express Chipset not a X3100, supposedly some dude at id=437678" GameSpot could run with one )
Dunno, I've updated them, but I still haven't played it. More details to come later.

I've been trying to play TF2 all day long, but thanks to the f*cking Murphy's Law I have this nerve-piercing lag that prevents me to play it... and then it just crashes. Hell, I think my Internet connection is fine because not even the videos in the offline section can run well. I've tried everything: tweaking my resolution, lowering the renders and stuff. But no. It just keeps freezing, the sound just "stucks" over and over again, and it won't let me play it flawlessly.

And yea, I've Googled for solutions but nothing seems to work.

Goddamn you Valve. I hope all your staff and your women get AIDS while being raped by donkeys in the middle of a train track under the hottest day of the desert. This for making stuff so complicated, hard to understand and "so-called-adictive".

So, can someone generous help me with this? My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A-205, 128 GB of memory, Core 2 Duo, and 2 GBs of RAM.

Please, dont make me believe I spent 21 bucks just for nothing. Also, I want to play the game so badly.

Man, those were some good 4 days in the US but they were also very frustrating too.

Why? You may ask. Well, first: the roads. We could finally understand how they worked until the very last day. God dammit. Second: Texas is the hottest place I've been so far, even more than Miami. Third: the road trip was exhausting and we were pulled over by some douches (a.k.a. Monterrey traffic policemen) and have to pay some fee to them. Pinches policías norteños >:C

The good: I got some cool clothes, new shoes and clean underwear for the rest of the trip. Also, Team Fortress 2. I'll tell you everybody my Steam account later... I'm not in my house right now.

Oh well... maybe next time I'll have the chance to visit California or New York... those places seem to be better than Texas (sorry for all the people who live there, though, we met some cool people there. You Texans are cool, but your weather not :C )

I'm typing this from some place in the middle of Texas... and damn, it's been some adventure since we got in.

We have got lost, EVERY SINGLE DAY since we arrived (what's wrong with Texas' highways??? ) Not even with a GPS we could do anything about that. And here's hot, LIKE HELL. And people speak Spanish... so I can't really improve my speaking skills yet...

1) I live in Mexico, the place of the sombreros, the colorful culture, Día de Muertos, the Aztecs and delicious food.

2) Speaking of food, I have never eaten a burrito in my life

3) I think burritos are overrated. Why? Because I don't know how they taste

4) I rather prefer enchiladas, chilaquiles, beef, sushi and pizza.

5) I hate tequila. Actually, vodka tastes better for me (I don't drink, I swear)

6) I'm currently enjoying way too much Rock Band and Guitar Hero. I just can't stop

7) I think I prefer bass rather than playing the guitar. If I had taken that decision back in 2003 I'd probably be playing in a band right now.

*Unknown-person, the guy/gal who inspired me to enter to the world of these OCT things, has stopped his/her killing spree. In other words, Unknown lost Law of Talos.

Wow. I was betting =BlackLillian was going to win, but I didn't actually expect that to happen.

Well, what can I say? Even though BlackLillian's end was indeed a cliché, it had an ending. If Unknown wanted an epilogue then he/she should have done one from the begining.

I know I'm no one for being judging these kind of entries, but I think it's all about common sense, right?

Well, may *Unknown-person and =BlackLillian never give up and bring us more intense stories in the future.

This is going to sound pretty much lame for you, but you see, has already started and, again, I want to enter. The only problem, though, is that they are accepting only 3 characters per artist (I'd wish it had been four at least), but I have a small and annoying dylema, I have a lot of characters ( [link] ) and I like them... IN OTHER NEWS: Seems that the swine flu has attacked USA more than Mexico so far. To all my fellow American buddies I just have to say: TAKE CARE, WASH YOUR HANDS AND DON'T EXPOSE YOURSELF.

Okay, so here is the story:

Mexico was in a hard situation: hundreds of battles in the past had left the country in a critic state, there wasn't enough money and as if it wasn't enough, it was recovering from an invasion of the United States (yes, America invaded Mexico once ) where... well, you know who won. Anyway, 1800 was the century most of the wars that Mexico fought in his territory, and back then in May 5th it was bearing with a French invasion.

The French back then were claimed to be the "most organized, powerful and invincible army in the world". Because Mexico had some pending debts from the French government, Napoleon III sent his army to invade them. They did won several battles across the territory, but that May 5th the French army was stopped definitively by the Mexican army within some local indigenous people and civilians.

What it has to be mentioned is that the Battle of Puebla was won with an outnumbered French army, and still, the Mexicans could defeat them with a surprising death toll:
only 83 Mexicans were killed while more than 400 French soldiers died. It was the first defeat for France in 50 years. After that, the Mexican Government finally negotiated with the French one to set a deal.

This day we remember General Ignacio Zaragoza, and what we have left of him is his prescence in the 500 pesos bill.

SO, you ask, why is it so important? Well, dunno really, but seems that the US consider this day as important for Mexico as if it were the Independence Day (which is actually September 16th), what Mexicans do this day is only have a day off and that's it. I just hope that all this crap about the "beaner flu" won't ruin the celebrations of the US.

First of all: for those who care, I'm fine. I've been with a small cold in these past days with some coughs and sneezes, but thank God, that's all. That's why I will take care as much as possible because I'm very vulnerable right now, so, I'll be staying in my house as much as possible, which leads me into the second point...

Second: the Mexican Government has taken some decisions and they told that all the schools of the Federal District (where I live) and the State of Mexico will be closed until May 6th.

I... I don't even know if this is good or bad because that's a HELL OF CLASSES I'm going to miss before the very final exams. Well, at least I will have more time to finish and start some new Brawls (anyone want one? Will you take your revenge Maddi? >:3 )

Anyway, I'll tell you in future days what's going on with this pseudo virus Apocalypse, and I just hope it doesn't spread into other countries (btw, for those who don't know, USA have already had some cases of this swine flu in some states, so be careful my American buddies).

Holy cow, I thought this wasn't going to get that serious, AND LOOK!

Oh well...

So, my spring break is over, and as usual I'm finishing my homework on the very last day. NEVERTHELESS, I just have to hang up 3 more weeks and I'll be free 3 ENTIRE MONTHS. AWESOME

Anyway, let's make this as short as possible: the Dragonball movie was bad, I must confess. I was expecting a wee bit more, but seems that Hollywood failed misserably. The same goes for "The International" and "Knowing". Jeez, and I wanted to see a local animated movie: "Another Egg's movie and a Chicken" (search it on Youtube as "Huevocartoon", I must warn you, though, that everything is in Spanish) and I only got the chance to look at all those crap..

I also need your opinion:
Should I join another OCT this summer? Because right now the only thing I'm distracting with are just memes. Lots and lots of memes.
