Apparently, double thinking is a good thing. It keeps you updated, understanding and non-biased. But man, sometimes.

For example. Imagine you are someone who is against abortion, the death penalty, all for human rights and lives, etc. You want everyone to have a chance, everyone to live and experience things, and want to leave everything up to God, as he knows best.

But... Then you look at our overpopulated suffering world and thank God for Aids as it cleans up our world rather nicely.

See, it's a little annoying to continuously maintain such mindsets and views at the exact same time. And then try thinking about that at the same time you miss your mother who recently died. Not fun at all. And people wonder why I try to stay out of debates more often.



Oh yay, I get to work from 10pm to 3am Monday night for when Halo 2 comes out. We all get to dress up, again, and it should be fun Yeah, I'm being a little sarcastic, but a little hopeful that it'll be fun

I've gotten enough questions about my games, so I've decided to write the basic synopsis for each one here. Take a look and feel free to critique, comment and so forth.

Shadows: Beginnings

Eons ago, as the land and sky moved through each other like wind through water, the cries of Heaven's children would call an Angel to save the world of SurSoleil from two twisted kings, both obsessed with devouring all life remaining on the planet. The Angel would sacrifice himself to generate new life from the ravaged souls of the fallen rulers. He would then descend to the UnderWorld, never to be seen again.

Centuries later, Naix, a young man without a past, would find himself in the presence of a mysterious sage. He would be sent on a mission to find a most sacred artifact, the Sword of Life. It was said that this magnificent sword was the divine blade of judgement used by the Angel Ojelic to banish the evil kings from SurSoleil's surface.

On the way, he would find millions suffering from strange illnesses and diseases. The darkness of the void would spread, revealing a horrific plot being concocted by a most sinister man. A brutal history having stolen his soul, he would not stop until the world had fallen to the same darkness the twisted kings tried to bring so long ago.

It is now up to Naix, a child tortured by time and shrouded in confusion, to save the world once again.


Shadows: Darkness

The light has faded from this cursed planet, leaving only the decay and dust of frozen memories for the shadows to feed on. She is lost, her mind not her own. He is courageous and careless, a gun ready to shoot anyone in the back. It's up to Frushia and Kross to save this dying land from a foul beast, The Shadow King.

In this prequel to Shadows: Beginnings, discover what really happened to Frushia, causing her to despise her once true love Naix. Conquer new worlds with an innovative battle system and compelling story of fear and death.


Shadows: Ascension

He saved the world, but the hands of death continue to plague his nightmares. After being locked away and forgotten for almost 5 years, Naix is free, and he's pissed. After losing his mind, he found pieces of memories that would lead him home. But would he return to his once sane and pure state when he arrived? Or would he kill everyone out of confusion and paranoia? It's up to you to put together his missing memories before he returns to Chateau de Palmeria.


Shadows: BattleField

My goal is to be working with Square-Enix on these games, so Shadows: BattleField is actually a fighting game with both Shadows and Final Fantasy characters.

Naix has always lived a life of purity and self-sacrifice. But when the demonic Aurious arrived, things started to fall apart. Now, he has challenged Naix and the Shadows to a battle for power of SurSoleil.


Shadows: Anora

People have been disappearing from Galacia and Night City. Both cities are at war, blaming each other for the strange and violent acts being committed against their citizens. Unfortunately, Joten is too busy getting ready for his concert to take notice of the current situation. The night before the performance, he takes what will be his last look at Galacia before falling asleep. When he awakes, he finds himself in a barren field in the middle of nowhere. With only his guitar to defend himself from the vicious monsters, he learns of a sleeping source of power that awakens when he puts a mysterious stone into his guitar and uses it to charge up a hidden entity. He will find many more of these entities called Eons as he tries to find his way home. Along the way, he learns that he has, in fact, gone back in time. But who sent him here, and why? And why is the Night Goddess walking around during the day? Something very odd is going on in this world of Anora.

A completely new leveling system breaks the previous limits in the Rpg genre. Change Eon type and master over 50 new attacks with hundreds of different types of arsenal. Don't forget to help Joten mature into an adult

It's hard to keep motivation here, everyone is so good. Wen, Minties, Johnston, Monica, Shadow Lotus, etc. It's crazy. I feel I'll never be that good, but then I remember, I'm stuck with ImageReady and the mousepad in my laptop keyboard. When I use a mouse now, it's so much easier and things look so much better. They also take a lot less time. I suppose I just need to remember that.


Inuyasha... good?

I don't really understand, and yes, I've complained about this before. Why is Inuyasha liked? It's horrible. It's annoying and embarassing. Why do people compare it the Rurouni Kenshin? Why?! It rips off all of it's ideas from other animes, and it STILL sucks. You'd think they'd steal better Inuyasha is retarded. Go to Hell, you asshat of an anime character.


Damn..

I miss my mum... It's still hard to sleep at night. I feel like I'm losing faith in everything. This depression is getting so bad. Now that I'm back in college, things should get better, right? I hope so. I just want to make my fucking games already...


New Shadows Game?

As some of you may know, the second Shadows game, Shadows: Darkness, was a sequel to the first game, Shadows: Beginnings. But I've changed it. I want it to be a prequel to better introduce my main female Frushia, why she left Naix so abrubtly, and also to introduce a secret character from the first game named Kross. I think with he and her, the story of the game is complete. Maybe they'll start off on their own, but meet up later in the game? That would allow you to follow each one seperately until they united. Hmm, I like that.


Music

I wonder, I don't think you can upload music onto this site, but wouldn't that be nice? I record my music from time to time, and it isn't too bad. As I've said before, I want to direct and create for every aspect of my game, music included. I'll check around and see if you can upload music, and if not, I'll ask if they're ever going to allow it.

Eye Color: Change with mood. Normally a light green or white, but turn red when angered or saddened. Bleed involuntarily the blood of those he killed in his demonic state.

Piercings: 20(ears 4, nose 1, eyebrow 2, navel 2, fingers 10, tongue 1)
Your Personal Scent: Naix tends to smell like a mix of vanilla and age, if age had a smell.

Now for the interview.

M: Hello. My name is Melanie and I'm here to interview Naix, our character for the day!

M: To start, do you have a nickname friends or family call you?
N: Yeah. My friends usually call me Nai on habit.

M: What's the most annoying thing anyone has ever asked you?
N: Hmm. I guess it's pretty annoying when people ask about my parents or family. It's just hard to talk about.

M: What does the name Naix mean?
N: Well, it turns out it means NightMare in the first spoken language of mankind.

M: When did you last cry?
N: I kind've have a habit with crying myself to sleep, so last night. I also have horrible nightmares that I sometimes wake from in tears.

M: Any bad habits?
N: Just hating myself and smoking v_v

M: How do you release your anger?
N: By making sure I'm alone and letting my feelings of self-hate get to me. I just don't think I have the right to be angry. Sometimes, I can't stop myself from reacting to things. Like if someone is hurting someone else, I can't help myself. I get pretty angry and bang them up pretty good.

M: Why is it you can't eat?
N: It's a long story, but basically yes. I can't eat.

M: Do you trust others easily?
N: Not really.

M: Are you currently involved with anyone?
N: Well, I love Frushia, a woman I know very well. But, it's complicated. She doesn't really feel the same way, sometimes completely ignoring the fact that I care about her.

M: Who is Ciel?
N: Ciel was my closest friend growing up. We were both from an unknown winged race, the only two of our kind. We ended up traveling the world of SurSoleil together, before he was killed. That's why I continue to explore the world. I promised him that I would find out where we came from.

M: Favourite Sexual Position?

I'm having a hard time, emotionally. I'm finding that I'm taking strong criticism rather harshly. So, if it's not too much trouble, might everyone be a little more considerate and not personally attack me when trying to make a point. I just can't handle people getting angry at me or my art. I know it's not great, and I'm still learning. But it's really hard to even start a project right now. So if you can, please don't say things like: "What the fuck is _____?" or "That looks stupid, annoying, childish, retarded, dumb, etc."

Thanks for understanding. I thank everyone for their comments and effort regardless. Don't think it doesn't eventually get appreciated. I feel so honoured that any of you would give my crap/art the time of day. Just try to be careful, if you don't mind.

Either I forced people to call me it/them, or they gave it/them to me.

PC, fuck Macs.

PhotoShop, MS Word, etc. I use a LOT.

Mouse, I'm getting Tablet this month. Yippee!

Face, eyes. It's my favourite part.

5 minutes usually, sometimes an hour at most. I'm not a patient person...

Rerouni Kenshin is something I've just started watching and I like it. I also took a strange liking to Berserk, Furi Kiri and all of Miyazaki's amazing stuff. The original Zelda cartoons are teh shit.

Ha ha. There's never been a time that I haven't been drawing.

Michael Turner's art is very awesome, proportionate, etc. I look at his sketches sometimes when I'm lost. But life-drawing is the best. I don't usually use references though.

Actually, they all want to meet me. And I'm inviting them to LA from time to time. I've meet a few already.

When there's a reason too, or I am just THAT bored.
