April has been a storm of activity so far! All of us ID Comics kids have been clobbered with project after project. It's a great time for us. Traditionally Spring is a big time of year for us, but this year it seems to have snuck up on us with ninja skillz! At any rate, all that means that it has been a lot harder to maintain the JELLIES and I would like to apologize for not being able to keep up. Because it has been so difficult to give the JELLIES the attention they deserve we have to put them on hold for a while. We would like to start the whole thing up again in June (maybe sooner if things slow down a bit).

The VA comic con is coming up this weekend and ID Comics will be in the house! We just found out that :iconsauceboy: :iconlazeedog: , and :iconthefranchize: will all be in attendance. The show will be held at the Crowne Plaza West in Richmond, VA. We are going to have a ton of prints, comics and cards to sell. We also have a few of our last Marvel Masterpiece III cards that we have left for sale.The VA Comic con is a fun little show with great people so if you're in the neighborhood come check us out. here's the link to the convention's website - [link]

Our other big news is that we are winding down to our last convention for the year. The Screaming Tiki Con in Niles Ohio. It's gonna be a great time so if you are gonna be in the area come on through and check us out. We will also have a ton of new prints for sale and all the comics we publish will be on hand. Those of you in the Baltimore area probably know by now that the Baltimore comic con is this weekend September 27-28. before i go on, i just wanted to let u folks know that we did get a winner for the Bounty Hunter Kai Contest we had. check out :iconsnareser:'s kai submission [link] he'll be getting a signed copy of Bounty Hunter Kai #1 and a Kai poster like we mentioned drawn by the book's artist *lazeedog. thanks for the fan art everyone! its always cool to see other's interpretations of a character you came up with. :aww:

so Identity Comics' next convention stop is at the Pittsburgh Comic Con in Monroeville, PA on April 25th through the 27th [link] . even though there's a lot of controversy circling this particular convention, we did have a ton of fun last year and hope tons of people will still attend - both fans and fellow artists. we met some really down-to-earth fans and hung out with some of the friendliest artists so we're looking forward to it again this year. if you're in the area and plan on attending, come and find us!

Ok folks, just thought I would give everyone an update as to what is going on here at ID. We are all hard at work on our idividual projects as well as the new and up coming "The Brotherhood". I have almost finished the script (hopefully done by tommorow) and things are looking good. Plus, I am cooking up an new original story in my sick and twisted mind! 07 is gonna be a great year for Identity Comics. we have each decided together as well as within ourselves to turn the company into more than just a concept or idea. and believe me, never underestimate the power of unfortunate things. it makes one see that changes need to be made. several unfortunate things happened to each of us in the past year and i guess if it has taught us anything, its that we're all we got (and our loved ones) and if we don't make it happen for ourselves, nobody will do it for us.

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! http://IDComics.deviantart.com/journal/11802528/ Tue, 13 Feb 2007 17:30:14 PST , and myself Jerry Gaylord in 2003 and really found it's legs a year later with the addition of Bryan Turner .

Together we publish 3 titles - Hyperboy, a hillarious action/adventure story about a ten-year-old superhero trying to learn what it means to be a hero; Bounty Hunter Kai, a balls-to-the-wall action book about a beautifull elite bounty hunter whose allegiance is to herself and anyone who can pay her premium; and Return of the Way, an epic story of a neo band of samurai struggling against the tyranny of the corporations that have taken over the globe and subjugated humanity.

The new year has been amazing so far and continues to get better with each new project. We'll post all the news and buzz about our books and specials right here to keep everyone in the loop. Also , we are all available for commissions so if anyone is itchin' for original art, drop us a note and we'll respond with rates. We'll be happy to sketch something up for you.

Finally, we are planning to attend 4 cons this year and an apearance at a comic shop for comic book day.
