All in all a good day. Unfortunately my tattoo is going to have to wait because it seems my dad possibly paying for the outline is probably not going to happen. My tattoo as a whole is going to cost $400 so it probably won't happen for a while and that makes me so sad.

For those truely interested in my personal life, here's my current plan for the upcoming summer months:
My buddy, Mojo, is coming up this Friday and I'll spend a week entertaining him. The weekend after, Ryan comes up and I'll be leaving with him and his family back to KC on Monday the 21st (I believe). From there he and I will be going down to Texas for the month of June up until right around my birthday when we'll go back to Colorado for a few days. Then it'll be back to KC to stay.

But anyways, other good news! I've been comissioned by my chiropractor to do some posters for him to put up in his office. My first assignment is three that are the same to go in all the treatment rooms that remind to keep the monthly chiropractic habit. The best thing of all this is that I'm getting PAID! W00t!

It's a miracle it didn't explode but my "freezer" sucks so I guess it's not that surprising. I'm also eating a bag of cheddar sun chips (orgasmicly tasty no matter the time of day), and the largest Snickers bar I've ever seen. It's KING SIZE apparently if the wrapper is to be believed. It's great, I just noticed the back of the wrapper says Satisfies instead of Snickers. It was so hard for me to read at first because I kept thinking it was supposed to say Snickers but it DOESN'T.
And I swear I'm not trippin on anything, really. I can't imagine the terrible things that would happen if I did take any sort of hallucinogen (spelling doesn't matter, teachers lie, but it'd be funny if I did spell it right).
I've continued on my pregnant lady painting. It looks OK at the moment but I have to do the shading on the skin different because it turned out purpleish. Her hair rocks though and it's really creepy, I painted her hair the same basic color mine is (currently) and I didn't even think about it. I've finally decided on how I'm going to do the background as well which makes me happy.
I've got a load of laundry in the dryer now, it'll be time to go get it soon. I've done nothing but laundry, rp, and paint today. I've done a total of 8 loads of laundry (meaning I've spent $16!) and one load is half of two other loads that didn't get the smell of mildew out all the way. I'd left a few wet things that never got dry and terrible things happened. But the good news is I now have clean clothes (finally) and none of it smells like mold!
Ooh and I get to go clubbing with my cousin tomorrow! Along with watching the football game and eating tasty snacks and doing other entertaining things with family. That'll be fun. But it means I need to clean my room the rest of the way tonight (this morning, whatever) so my roommate doesn't hate me when she gets in.
Ok my randomness is spent now. I'd laugh if anyone actually reads this journal all the way through, like people care.

I'm worried I'm not going to have time to finish the presents I'm trying to make for people. And the fact that the dorms are requiring me to buy a meal plan by the 22nd is really pissing me off. I would much rather not waste $600 on a 5 meal a week plan with bad food. I'd prefer to have that to help with paying for traveling expenses like gas.
But I'm excited about going back home. And my Christmas present to myself is going to be another tattoo. I've got the design drawn out and everything. I might be getting it at Purgatory, the place I got my first one, or at least the outline. But I might decide to have it done at this new place I found here in Colorado. Price will tell.
I'll be coming back up from Dallas a day or two after Christmas and my beloved will be staying in Colorado for a short spell. I can't wait for this week to be over

I hate finals.

I've not been to the Psychic Fair since last October I believe (it's semi-annual, comes in April as well) and I've been wanting a few things I'd rather not get anywhere else. I need a new Tarot deck, some rose oil and possibly other scents, a pendulum board, a couple Christmas presents, and possibly an article of clothing if I really let me spoil myself.

Ah yes, and I might have a chance to make it to Vulcan's if I'm lucky.
I'm having dinner with my father, that's more a necessity but it's good for me and I'll probably end up enjoying it. And, oh yay, I get to bring back my bookshelves so I can actually have space for my books and a few other things. I might even bring my TV with me so I can watch hockey in my room.
Dear me, so many things to do in such little time! But I'll get done the most important things and this will be the best weekend I've had in a while. I can't wait.

This decision gave me a total of 10 days to finish all remaining paperwork, get my finances in order, and pack.

Oh joy, lots of time. But hey, I'm done with papers and money business and I'm almost packed so it's all good.

I'm planning on leaving either Monday or Tuesday evening so I have some extra time before I move in to student housing on Thursday and have orientation Friday thru Sunday. Classes start that following monday.

Since I'll not be getting my new laptop (yay new laptop!) until after I get a little settled in I won't be online for a few days. But I'm so happy, high speed internet is included in housing costs

and that's better than what I have access to now.

Since my last journaling:
I've gone to Texas, that was loads of fun.
I'm in the process of enrolling at the community college close to me. The plan is that I take all core classes for the first year out of the way there then go to RMCAD for the spring semester. Unfortunately I don't really like the idea and would much rather wait till the spring to take any classes but it is no longer my decision.
I had a small spurt of inspiration recently which is gone now, I need to do something different like painting. I'm a little burned out on drawing unfortunately.
I've been trying to get a job. I've applied to several places and it seems I am not a desirable employee or something. If anybody has an idea on what I might be able to do to get a job please let me know, I'd appreciate it.
I'm going to Colorado again at the beginning of August for a wedding.

I guess that's all that's really going on with me currently. To those that I still owe work I promise I'm trying to do it but talent seems to be lacking in my fingers. And with nothing else to report this is IZ4 signing off.

I'm excited though. I have a stereo with a turntable and a crap load of albums to play with it. And a lot of it is classical music so who know's what that might bring up in my art. I'm working on a couple of projects right now that need some new inspiration so I can actually finish them. I also got some new really big sketchpads so the new size will be kinda fun to work with. Another new(ish) thing I got was an area rug for my room ^_^ and I don't care if I'm not supposed to be excited about a rug, my entire house has hard wood and tile so it's kinda nice.

I need to clean my entire house tomorrow and set up my basement for my party and I'm gone all day Friday at school and then at the grad party of my dearest which is funny because that's when most of my family is coming in to town. Then Saturday I have to attend an awards dinner in my school cafeteria (that cost me at least $26) instead of going to the grad ceremony of said dearest. Sunday I'm having dinner with family. Then Tuesday is rehersal and then ceremony.

I'd love some spare time to draw a bit but alack and alas, I will not be able to do much of anything for a little while. Though that will change in a few weeks.

I'm breathing much easier now as well. I decided to stay in KC for at least a semester and start working before I go into big, expensive, and daunting college. I'll be taking some classes this first semester but nothing full time.

And since I'm staying here for a while longer I'm planning a visit to my lovely Colorado and it looks like it will happen rather soon after graduation. But time, further planning, and a discussion with my father will determine that.

And with all that said my journal has come to a close (though I've surely forgotten to say something but no matter). If people have actually read this to the end I apologise for your wasting time. Not much for other people to care about. The main purpose of this was for me to sort out all I need to do. But it is very late and I need to be able to get up tomorrow morning.

So back to the subject I sat down to rant about in the first place. I cannot think of anything to draw/create/etc. and inspiration and quality isn't coming out for the assignments I already have. AAAAHHHHHHHH! And so is the curse of the way I work. I might try a little doodle when I get off here just to put up something new. Maybe it'll be something decent and completed.

OK so I'm done going on about nothing important. I apologise if you've gotten this far unsatisfied and irritated at the irrelevence to everything.

Scenery hasn't changed but having a friend along helped a lot through the twelve hour drive. We slept a lot, ate a bit and overall had a pretty good time I'd say. Now that I'm home and not in a moving vehicle I feel like I'm tipping sideways and it's begining to mess with my head though, but it'll pass.
I feel kinda bad cuz everybody's been updating and productive and wishing everyone else happy holidays and such and I've been neglecting my da buddies.
So here's a catchup on everything I've missed:
Happy Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays in general. There we go, now I feel better.
New Year's was a blast for me. I actually went to a party! (ghasp) And was social for a bit! (bigger ghasp) It was a very fun experience to be sure.
OK I guess now all that stands for me to do is to hope everyone else had a good and safe time during all recent festivities.

Then on Christmas day Nathan and I are headed across Kansas (evil drive) and to home sweet Colorado. There I get to put my portfolio together and onto a disc and take care of some college application stuff. Seeing my family and friend there are a definate perk as well. And after the holiday I'm riding back on the greyhound with a friend which I am very glad about because it sucks going alone, and I'm sure it'll be a blast.
Of course my wonderful adventure just had to be stinted by something. I was recently assigned a 3 page essay on Lord of the Flies that's due the day I get back to school.
But oh well. But now as I am typing, I realize.....I have absolutely nothing to rant about that has anything to do with anyone and no one in their right minds would finish reading anyways. Look at you, even now your attention is wandering elsewhere (assuming you haven't quit reading already), wondering why on earth did you bother to read this far?
