My computer woes continue. My internet has been down since last friday and I've been pulling my hair out trying to fix the problem with no success so far. I am writing this journal from my local library and in the short time allotted I will try to reply to as many comments as I can so please forgive me if I don't reply right away.

On a brighter note I may be getting a new job helping artists coming to canada get in touch with the local art community. Also, I met an art supplyer who is interested in reproducing my work for various galleries across Canada.

Again, my sincerest apologies to all and I hope to be online again soon, that is if I can find an excorcist to drive away the evil spirits from my PC..hahaha

Gordon Napier a.k.a *dashinvaine become my 2nd watcher a year ago today.

Gordon is a talented artist from the UK who pays close attention to historically accurate detail in much of his work. Actually he is much more that just an artist, he is a scholar specializing in medieval history, especially Templar history and he is a writer and published author. Being a lover of history as well, I purchased and read his book;'The Rise and Fall of the Knights Templar 1118-1314.' (A true history of faith, glory, betrayal and tragedy) A must read for anyone interested in the Knights Templar.

WOW! It's hard to believe that it was a year ago today that I stumbled across this website and became a member of the DA community. I was in awe (and still am) of all the amazing artwork and talent here and I was unsure if my own drawings were good enough to post. Tenatively I posted a few of my favourites and soon I was flooded with comments. I was overwhelmed by all the responses and my ego soared to the moon and back..hahaha
I quickly settled in and met so many wonderfull people, establishing some very valued friendships along the way. I soon met the ever surreal Deborah Valentine =a-neon-devil-breath who invited me to join her brood at =TheExquisiteCorpse followed by my first exquisite corpse sent to me by the Corpse Master himself, the ever amazing Ton Haring *divee....I was home at last
Words can not describe the deep and overwhelming gratitude I feel for each and every one of you who have stopped by and left a kind word and encouraging comment and all my watchers and friends....My world has been forever changed. Thank you all so very very much!!!!

Thank you all SO very very much!!! Such a wonderfull birthday present! Well, actually it's tomorrow but close enough.

First off, Thank you all so much for all the wonderfull comments and favs! You are my fount of inspiration!

I'm going away to the cottage this weekend, it being a civic holiday on monday. Life's been pretty hectic since getting back from Portugal so it will be nice to kick back and finish up my collab with *divee.[link]

I got my photos back from the developers, between me and my daughter Sara we came back from portugal with 23 rolls of film! Almost had to take out a second mortgage to pay for developing!
It was worth it though, between us we got some really cool shots!

Boy that was a fast two weeks!! The weather was perfect for the beach. We did a lot of traveling exploring castles and exotic gardens and having several adventures along the way. Each day was full of magic and we cherished every moment. Between my daughter and I we came back with 23 rolls of film which are in the process of being developed. I'll post some when I get them back.

I got back from Portugal last wednesday and tried turning on my computer and it didn't work. I finally got it working this morning..YEAH!!!! Now to tackle the mountain of messages...yikes!!!

First of all I'd like to thank everyone for all the favs, watches, and comments, each one has been an inspiration beyond my wildest dreams!
Thank you all SO much!!!

Tonight I'll be flying to my native homeland, Portugal, for two glorious weeks. This is only the fourth time visiting there since 1968 so you can imagine my excitement!
If I don't reply to your inspiring comments or comment on your wonderfull works of art you can be sure that it isn't from lack of interest, just off line.
