got a new CPU, hooked it up to my tv, got a modem, my wonderful dad got me the coolest printer that has a SCANNER (yay!), so i am set!

so look for tons of new stuff. and as soon as i figure out how to use my scanner, i'll get some of my paintings up too =]

my good-for-nothin, crappy-ass laptop won't work. and i got my internet taken away from me. so im on my brother's comp right now and i don't have my camera's software programmed onto it.
SO
im gonna try and get my father to see if he can fix my laptop and if he can, be a good girl and get my internet back
or...
see if my brother will let me install my camera software on his computer
it's a stretch but we'll see
i've got so much cool stiff on my camera that i can't WAIT to upload
and im sure you'll love it too


oh, and the 100 theme's challenge... not going so hot
but i have a few ideas floating around in this noggin of mine
we'll shall see what they lead to

just cuz i haven't had a lot of artisic inspiration lately and im hoping this might help me out a bit. ^^

woooo, ok. so, DH is the best book in the freakin world. even though it killed off my favorite character, it still rocked. i cried so much, and i still cry when im reminded of certain spots.
it's crazy! i've never cried so much over a freakin book. i don't think i cried at all when i read the other books.
...
ok, so i might've. but just a bit.
but hey, they can be quite sad sometimes! I mean, you really get attached to these characters! i mean, my favorites are Sirius and Lupin, and they both get killed off. And Tonks is super cool with her color changing hair and how she says, "Wotcher, Harry" (whatever that means) and she dies too! what the hell?
i have such luck with picking characters. i should pick really awful people as my favorites so that they'll die instead.

and poor Teddy. he's Harry all over again. and Snape, who was just madly in love with Lily and did what he was told, but looked evil anyway. Well, he didn't care one bit about Harry, all he wanted was Lily. to avenge her, if that's the right word. But i love how everyone is having a field day over him and his patronus. xP

But i have to say, this book and Prisoner of Azkaban are still grappling for my top favorite. I mean, PoA has both my favorite characters alive and in their prime. I just love Lupin, he's always described as 'mild' or 'cheerful' or ' pleasant'. he's so great ^-^

AND DUMBLEDORE IS SO COOL
of course that means he's dead. xP but he is just amazing, i love his crazy antics and eccentric ways. He's my hero. he truely shows the fine line between genius and insanity. I mean, just because you're crazy doesn't mean you can't be brilliant. his last words of the book are by far my favorite words ever:
"Of course it is happening in your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?"
that line gives me hope =]

so i've decided i am not going to stop reading the books. the series may have ended, but that doesn't mean they have to die. i'll just keep reading and re-reading... till i have them memorized! it sounds like fun!









wooo gaint nerdy rant there for ya. i've gotta go look up 'wotcher'. and i have a million pictures i can submit from my trip to Cancun but... i dunno. is there such thing as an art overload? cuz i think that's what i have.

edit: ok, i looked up wotcher: "it is and English greeting similiar to hello or hi"

big ol' alligator lizard with a tail twice as long as his body. He had absolutely gorgeous color and markings, and his head reminded me of a gecko.
so, i tried to catch him and he freaked out and fell to the floor. then he crawled up the screen again, slithering like a snake. He fell three times before i finally got a hold of him. I released him in some ivy.
and it was only after i let him go did i realize that i shoulda taken pictures of him! damnit.

Twice, TWICE, I saw cool things that would make good pictures:

1. I went to my aunt's house and she had this tree out front. It had engravings all over it that said "The Old Sycamore" and "Dear Tree, I'll love you forever" and things like that. it was like the Giving Tree or something. I thought the messages were adorable.

2. This one was really random. I was going to school in the car and I happened to look up at the powerline running along the street. Twined around the powerline was a ribbon of a balloon and a little blue star tag hanging off it twirling in the wind. It was kinda sparkly in the sun and I thought it was cute.

*sigh* oh well. I took pictures with my mind so I have them in my head. I just can't share them with you. ha ha

...
oh and i kinda wrote a poem last night. Which reminds me that I can put writings up here too. hmm... but I dunno. I'm a lazy butt. and maybe I don't want you to see my poetry. Mine! hahahahaha...
