I tell you what tho,I am PUMPED for Mass Effect 2,gonna be epic shizzle, even Tali has returned she was awesome my quarian friend.
I already know that game is gonna be a 10/10 like the first one,Bioware are king at games this era.

I hope that they will show something on Dead Space 2 next year,and they will unviel a new Star Wars title soon,Please be BattleFront III!

I might get that SW Old Republic when its out,see what its like,and probably Guild Wars 2 aswell,looks good. Im just continuing thru Dragon Age..love it

Greetings,

I like this skin,looks cool,Space is amazing,ever wonderous,unfathable in size,endless. I think at times,No matter what great achievment humankind has accomplished,no matter what trival and trails we have faced,It all means nothing in the face of the universe. If earth blew up,the universe wouldnt even care,wouldnt even know,Human race would only be known to other life forms as radio-signals echoing thruout space for all eternity of our existance.

I had a dream last night,quite real, I kept waking up from it,It felt like a few years from now. It was me visiting a friends house down south ,it was getting late at night and the air felt strange,I dont know what it was or how to describe the feeling but it was like a presance that forced us to go outside, we looked up to the cloudless night sky and saw the stars,then there was a mass of stars moving in the opposite direction,slowly,It was then we both realised they were ships,or ufos, I recall running to my car and driving home becuase for some reason my phone was getting reception,I arrived and everyone was in the street all over the place,cars stopped and looking at the sky at this huge fleet. I woke up and it was 3am, I felt alittle strange but it was quite a realistic dream,perhaps a vision?

anyway..

Watched the 2-hour version of Chinese epic 'Red Cliff' directed by John Woo, Its awesome,cast of thousands,The battles are amazing to watch and really bring out the brutality and inventiveness of ancient china's warring era. Great Movie. 4.5/5

Also working on my own short-film,gathering some more martial arts supplies and I should be ready to roll. gonna be awesome!.

Ive also been looking at alot of well known horror-writer Clive Barker's artworks for inspirations,For some reason his images of twisted,frighting depictures are almost dreamlike,I find my self mezmerised at times. haha,I guess I just have a taste for the weird and 'out-there'.

hello all again, yes im alive, i was stuck in the caves of isolation,meditating. honing my skills for the coming battles.

well its still our wet season here,ben rainin for a few days now,lovely tho,still raining now which is good cuz its my day off anyway lol

i was readin the other day that Ed Boon,said they are already underway with Mortal Kombat 9, no cross over,just good ol MK,and im reasonable excited,until they release a trailer then ill be excited lol. im expecting great things.

street fighter: the legend of chun li,the movie,looks like total ass,chun li isnt even asian or a martial artist,china would be full of them. poor casting.

GI Joe movie on the other hand looks awesome,until they release a trailer i can judge it better but the posters look cool.

one movie im really looking forward to is 'Ninja Assassin',should be out later this year,from what ive seen the fight scenes are incredible ,cant wait.

oh yeah i also got myself a master replicas Boba Fett helmet,its Awesome!!

Christmas time has come and is now on its way to fade into yet another memory in the archives of our minds,splendid times i hope where had by all, I had to work for most of the day but i didnt mind.

I received a fair share of loot this year aswell,ranging from shirts,to dvds and a predator statue which is badass. I also watched for the first time, 'Kung Fu Panda',Hulk' and 'The Forbidden Kingdom' one after the other, and i must say all where great movies,i was surprised with kungfu panda,it is actually quite amusing, Forbidden Kingdom on the other hand is excellent,the fight scene between jackie chan and jet li is incredible,i really liked this film and its homage to the old martial arts epics with the monkey king at the start.

i also claimed 'Mongol' (which is an awesome movie,seen it at the cinemas) and 'Kagemusha' on dvd,which i will view soon.

now that im pumped with all this martial arts veiwing its gotten me back full swing into my training,i admit i was getting slack,but it doesnt take me long to,get back in the swing of things

so far this installment in my beloved series seems great,the demo gives you two stages,and the ability to play them in co-op aswell. Sheva is surprisingly good,i didnt curse at her once for her inability lol, the enemies rushing at you really give you a feeling of panic,instead of ambient fear,which is welcome and had me fumbling the triggers at times,the chainsaw guys are also alot faster then the ones in Re4. the menu looks insane too,like germs thru a microscope.

so far the demo is only available to Japanese players,i acquired my version thru other means

i cant wait to see the other areas,oh damn im excited.
other then that i completed the latest Tomb Raider Underworld, i was impressed,i love norse mythology so i really liked those areas,speaking of which the areas looked amazing,abit dissappointed in the lack of boss fights tho,but all in all a very good game,not the best tomb raider game,but a very enjoyable adventure.

hm,what else.finished mk vs dc ages ago,very good game,i am actually surprised how good the story mode fit the two universes together.great game,but everyone knows mk 9 will be insane,if it still gets made since midway seems to be going under,lets hope they find some lifeboats.

i watched Resident Evil Degeneration aswell a few nights ago,Blows the live action attempts out of the water,its a great movie,but i felt it needed more claire action,some parts where abit lame,but they were made up for in the zombie attacks,i wont say any spoilers so we will leave it at that,good movie and defiantly one for the fans. wish it had some longer flashbacks tho lol.

not much has changed since last time,i know ive been slack in submitting works but more are coming,i work alot recently so its been sapping my time but its starting to slack off so im getting more time to myself.

i saw the movie 'Mongol' the other day, pretty awesome,the battle scenes where great.

ive also been wondering if there is a paranormal investigation team around my area,and if there isnt i might make/found a paranormal research team and get people to join me,since ive had quite a few years in the paranormal,research and experience,i think it would be good to investigate some of the surrounding places,there is many around here ,from abandoned mines to WW2 sites and even a sub-terrainian tunnel network dug out during ww2. i would only take aboard those with experience that is,but anyways just something thats been gestating in my mind for many months

ive been playing a fair bit of clive barkers Jericho aswell,pretty good i think. oh an MK Armageddon lol

Not much has been happening lately,working the shifts as they come as usual and playing lots of World of Warcraft lol,hey doing quests with friends from work is fun alright..my Bloodelf paladin is almost lvl 63,pimp,and playing Final Fantasy - X again,i felt like it needed a re-play,since im in abit of a Warcrafty/Final Fantasy mood at the moment

I was playing thru FFVIII again aswell a few weeks ago lol,and also starting to read warcraft 'War of the Ancients' Trilogy ,great so far,
Training has been going well aswell,me and my sparring friend had a few great moments the other day.

i have been meaning to draw a few new things i have some cool ideas in my head but i'll get around to them soon,Ive also been having some spun out dreams some really awesome ones too.

its amazing thru work and all i find enough time to do all this lol

I read a few days back on the koei forums that from a article in famitsu magazine that there was for 08-09 samurai warriors 3! if this is true then wootation

Im wondering if i should pick up Super smashbros brawl for the wii aswell,seems to be pretty good and got almost perfect ratings, Im also debating weather to get Ninja Gaiden 2 when it comes out, the first one wasnt that special to me,i did get alil bored with it at times,but this one has limbs and blood sprays everywere so it might be worth a purchase, i also want to check out 'Highlander' game it seems to pretty cool from the trailer

Midways gamer day is on next week so by going on the countdown from mk creator ed boons site noob.com , we should see a new trailer and info on Mortal Kombat 8 so im fairly interested to see what its like,especially since its supposed to be dark and gritty

i watched some more shadow warriors from my dvd set ,that show is the best show ive ever seen,hanzo is a legend.
'Highlander' the animated movie is awesome aswell,you should check it out.

Man,I love days-off heheh,in my absence from work there has been two flight cancellations and I am sooo happy I was not there to see it

Been finishing off Warriors: Orochi and i must say its a brilliant game,but I do prefer the stand alone Samurai Warriors 2, Speaking of which Dynasty Warriors 6 looks awesome!!! I cant wait till its released

the soundtrack's pretty hardcore too 8-D

Right now im a tad exhausted from training all morning,my hands are sore,and I have to clean up my mess out the back from all the waternoodles I cut with my sword lol

I think i might start doing some Samurai Warriors/Dynasty Warriors Fanart since im in the mood

Theres some pretty awesome martial arts movies coming out this year as well,alot of the trailers can be found on kungfucinema.com, the historical Chinese ones have gained my most interest for now,so i will be keeping an eye on them

just a new journal to kick start the year..

Well in the ways of new art is concerned I do have some new drawings coming up soon so I hope you can all veiw it when I get around to submitting them ^^

life outside of the pc is going fine indeedy,work is great and today i bought 'Warriors Orochi' for my 360 so ive been playing that and its awesome,I also bought the 'Once upon a time in China' Trilogy,jet li is great,and a 5-disc sonny chiba set which also owns

oh yeah,ive been training as always and me and my friend have begun filming the movie as well,lol and almost had our first mis-hap,I was doing a double kick and went to land and do a low sweep and my foot landed on a stone that was poking out of the ground,I lost abit of balance and rolled to avoid injury,I thought i almost sprained my ankle but lucky I didn't or I would have been angry lol

anyways other then that,everything is shapin up good

I am now literally surrounded by papers of kanji writing's I have done lol,looks like old documents piled all over the place

- spending a week in a castle overseas while a lightening storm was present

- some great sparring duels with a friend(including me breaking his bokken,so good)

- seeing some great parts of the world and buildings

- getting some awesome books

- some new games on 360 an PC that are gonna rock

- some more world travels,NZ and Japan for x-mas,hopefully

Not much has been happening,just work and of course training,many spar matches and bruises later me and one of my friends whom I train with are going to make a movie related to ninja of course but filmed realistically no special effects or such

as of now we are creating the story so Im not going to spoil nuthin but just to let you know ,you will see the Iga ninja in action.

Art wise Im working on some pieces but progress is slow..I might end up doing some Azumi artwork too cuz azumi is great movie and character

I have returned from much training and meditation,I feel myself once again and I have been working on some new draws which you will all see shortly but in the meantime enjoy these photos I took

I hope everyone is doing well.

now for some history..

Sasuke Sarutobi: Sarutobi (Monkey Jump) was a ninja renowned for his acrobatic abilities and absolute loyalty. It was said that he lived in the trees with monkeys, and his athletic ability was such that he could dodge the fastest warrior, ducking and jumping around a sword slash.

One famous story was when he was sent by his master to spy on the shogun, who had declared his master a rebel.

Sarutobi made a successful entry into the Shoguns castle, and overheard discussions regarding an attack on his master. Unfortunately, as he attempted to slip out of the castle, he was spotted by guards. Sarutobi was a master of evasion, and had experienced similar situations before. he used a springboard to leap a very high wall, but unfortunately, he leapt straight into a bear trap. In order to escape, he is reputed to have amputated his own foot, and hobbled off. He realised that in this state, escape was impossible, so took his life in front of the guards, who disposed of his body in the Castle moat.

now how much of this is true or not is still in debate but it is something enjoyable to read never-the-less

I do all I can for people,I dont get much in return nor do I ask for it,but when those people I help or do things turn cold towards me...how do you think that makes me feel?

I give people hope,try to cheer them up,give them a reason to stand up,..but it drains the will of me and takes MY hope away when I see it just going to waste....whats the point of sharing my hope with anyone if all it does is just rebound off and fall to the ground

I could stay up late just to wait for someone or something,or I could wait for ages to go somewhere,but then when the person I waited for just turns cold,how do you think that makes me feel?..

I give so much and receive so little...it eats away at me

also..sometimes I might expect people to do things that would be nice but they never do...I suppose I just live in my dream world were everything is lovely...but reality is far from that place..

sometimes I just feel like a empty shell, other days I feel like I just dont care about anyone or anything

..I dont know what to do....Whats the point

I come home from work,usually injured sore or hot and worn out,and all I want to do is have a nice lovely talk and go to sleep happy ,but ..no..I dont even get that,I come home sore and worn,I talk if anyone Wants to...and if it is ,it turns into a argument or I try to talk and it feels like Im just ignored,so I go to bed worn,sore and frustrated/sad...

probably you all think is he going on about' and no its not just online,its other things that get to me,maybe Ive had enough,Ive done so much SO MUCH!!! yet what do I get in return? nada..well I feel Im almost at my limit and soon Im not going to help anyone,DO you like the way I am now? helpful,friendly,always smiling or do you wish to see me bitter and cold and unloving?

well lets see,what things i can put..i will give some history on ninjutsu i will do the 9 schools..starting with,

TOGAKURE RYU NINPO

The ninjutsu ryu of the Togakure family was not formalised until three generations after Daisuke Togakure began to develop it. Allied with a clan that was defeated in a series of battles against superior forces, Daisuke lost all, including his samurai status, and escaped to the mountain wilderness south east of Kyoto. Wandering among the pine forests and marshes of the Ku Peninsula in A.D. 1162, he met the warrior monk Kain Doshi, who had fled to Japan from the political and military upheaval in China.

There in the mountain caves of Iga Province (within present day Mie Prefecture), Daisuke studied with this mystic, learning new concepts of warfare and personal accomplishment based on Chinese and Tibetan ideas about the order of the universe. Daisuke was taught the practical applications of the balance of the elements in diet, in combat, in thought and emotion, and in utilising the forces and cycles of nature to his advantage. Thus, away from the limiting conventions of samurai conduct that he had never thought to question, He discovered a completely new way of working his will. It was Daisuke's descendants that developed and refined these notions into the Togakure ryu of ninjutsu, and came to be called by the name ninja.

The Togakure-ryu's secret was the shuko, a spiked iron band worn around the hand, enabling the ninja to stop sword blades or climb trees and walls like a cat. Another device utilised by the Tokakure ninja was the tetsubishi, a small spiked weapon used to slow pursuers or protect doorways. Made with spikes sticking out in all directions, the tetsubishi were scattered on the ground to be stepped on by the unsuspecting.

They also used and kept secret the use of the senban shuriken or four pointed throwing star, originally made from a metal building washer, it looked so innocuous as to be ignored by samurai soldiers. Most important to our training today is the Togakure ryu ninpo taijutsu, or unarmed methods of moving the body with subtle rather than forceful movements which controls the actions of the attacker and allows the ninja to win whilst expending minimum energy and exposure to the least amount of danger.

Ninja Concelment -
In fuedral times,there was need to be cautious ,a wrong move or suspicious behaviour could lead into you loosing your head, the ninja knew this well,Altho known Ninja villages where hidden from the prying eye, for some cases of being farmers they learnt to hide there weapons and tools of death when samurai would come to inspect feilds or collect taxes,so many things contained a possible weapon to get the job done in times of war, things as innocent as a simple flute or guitar ,to objects as a walking stick which could really be a sword or blow pipe,other things could include,umbrellas or even headwear ,the list is quite vast indeed.,if it could be hidden and made,it most likely was,even a sword with a blade in the handle would be an unexpected surprise

Katayaki Biscuits!
In the past, the portable food carried by Iga ninja. Since it lasted a long time, it was an ideal stored food for battlegrounds and was treated as precious. Katayaki has only wheat or rice flour and brown sugar as ingredients. It has a delicious sweet aroma and crispness, and is a simple signature snack typical of Iga.

Katayaki are baked first of all, but can be grilled. Once they start to rise from the heat of the grill, sesame seeds, nori or laver where added to the top for more flavoring. Then they are weighted on top with a block of wood. This causes it to flatten and they come along and push on the block to flatten it further.

you can also use brown rice flour,but im unsure of the proportions of it,and are mainly mixed like most senbei today....unless you like pushing down your crackers with a block of wood

and they are so hard that people nowadays find them practically inedible. These rice crackers have to be broken up using a mallet, and they remain a well-known specialty of the town of Iga.

Cat's eye sundial
The sand glass was the tool used most often by "ninja" for establishing the time of day. However, they also used another method for this purpose. The cat's eye sundial is a method for telling the time by the aperture of a cat's eye. The eyes of a cat look fully round and open during the twilight periods at daybreak and sunset. They reduce in size to a near-oval shape between 8:00 and 16:00, and even more so at between 10:00 and 14:00. At 12:00 noon they become extremely narrow almost needlelike in a straight line. The "ninja" used this type of sundial because they knew the properties of cat's eyes very well. As seen above, the "ninja" were experts at various martial arts and made free and full use of their knowledge including artillery, astronomy, meteorology and the ecology of animals and plants.

Flooding well on our way to a job at work we crossed one of the rivers (its been raining for 2 days no non-stop) and it was over flowed,as we finished the job and came back,the water had swollowed up round-abouts and gardens and you couldnt even see the road at times it was like a ocean,we thought we where stuck,so we took the 'long way' back home and the bridges there one bridge was gone,couldnt even see it!! we made it back tho finally we went thru some water that was up to our car doors it was maddness,tommorow is another day ...but we might skip work so that would be good! the pool is about to over flow too!

on the upside i got a new car,woot to me,

Mizugumo - This was a circular wooden donut construction with a small block tied in the center with thread,the use of this particular item was to balance ones-self ontop of water,and to cross bodys of water without getting wet,the person would step on the middle block while the circular donut keeps the person afloat

shurkian - theses weapons come in all sorts of styles and shapes from star formations to spear-head designed apperances,genreally thrown at the attacker/enemy in vital areas to cuase maximum damage or death,also used to slow oppoents and have also been know to help hold trip-wires in place

poisioned needles - these long needles where coated in various posions to kill a enemy over a short amount of time,usally a muscular affecting poison,these needles would be launched by long blow-dart pipes,also aided in accuracy

caltops - gernrally used for throwning on the ground to embed in pursing enemys feet these iron spikes also where thrown at enemys,one hitting ur eye wouldnt be pleasant
